Teen Charged With Killing Her Father Says He Told Her To Shoot Him

Troy, NY – Police arrested 17-year-old Trinity Copeland for fatally shooting her father in the head with a rifle after the two argued over the unauthorized use of a credit card. In a statement to police, Copeland claims her father told her to do it.
Trinity’s father, 47-year-old Harland Copeland, had been drinking when he approached his daughter over some unauthorized debit card charges. Her father complained to the police about the charges, stating he knew where they were made but not who made them. He told Trinity police were going to look at the surveillance tapes from that day.
Knowing that they would see it was her that took the ATM card, Trinity confessed to the $154 in purchases. The reaction she received was a little more then she was bargaining for. She says her father told her that she could kill him or he’d kill her then himself.
“I was telling him I was sorry. I told him that I wanted to tell him before he saw it on video,” she said in the statement.…

Port St. Lucie, FL — According to a police report released Wednesday, Tyler Hadley, the teen accused of beating his parents to death with a hammer, told a friend about the brutal attacks at the party he threw the night of the murders.
The friend, identified as “MM,” told police Hadley called him early Saturday and talked of killing his parents. M assumed it was nothing but an empty threat as Hadley had spoke of killing his folks numerous times in the past. Later that day, M told police, Hadley made the same threat again.
At the party that evening, M said Hadley asked to speak to him in private – he then confessed to the murders. When M wasn’t convinced, Hadley pointed to his parents’ vehicles, still parked in the driveway. When that didn’t convince M, Hadley reportedly pointed out a bloody footprint in the garage. When that failed to convince his friend, Hadley then led the teen to his parents’ bedroom. It all fell into place when M looked in the bedroom and saw the elder Hadley’s legs buried beneath a pile of household items.…

Port St. Lucie, FL — Tyler Hadley, 17, is behind bars after police say he hammered his parents to death and partied with his friends as their bodies stiffened in their bedroom.
From what I gather, at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, Tyler posted an invitation on his Facebook, inviting 40-60 friends to a party at his house later that evening. A neighbor later told police Hadley’s parents, Blake and Mary Jo Hadley, refused to let the teen have a party. And for that, they were reportedly beaten to death with a 22-inch framing hammer.
After beating the pair about the head and torso, Tyler dragged them into the master bedroom and covered their bodies in a pile of books, files and towels. Authorities suspect Tyler killed his mother first. No idea where dad was while mom was being hammered, but I sure would like to know how Tyler managed ‘em both. With the pesky ‘rents out of the way, Tyler was free to break out the Chex Mix and get his freak on.…

Mequon, WI – Police have arrested a 20-year-old man, accusing him of shooting both of his parents to death after an argument over gas money.
According to prosecutors, 20-year-old Dennis Markov got into an argument with his father, 45-year-old Victor Markov, after Victor refused to give him $5 for gas. Dennis responded by retrieving a rifle and shooting his father multiple times in the back of the head. When his mother, 39-year-old Larissa Markov, returned home from running errands, Dennis shot her to death as well.
When Larissa did not show up for work and no one was able to contact her, police were asked to check on her. When they arrived at the home, they were let inside by Dennis and they discovered both Victor and Larissa’s dead bodies in the garage. They also found ”a hand saw on a work bench adjacent to the bodies, a miter saw on a stand nearby, as well as a quantity of plastic bags.”
One of the most chilling aspects of this senseless murder is the absolute lack of remorse displayed by Dennis.…

Dallas, OR - Andrew Jondle set out on his scooter Monday evening with murder on his mind – the 20-year-old was fixin’ to kill his parents, 61-year-old David Jondle, and 58-year-old Marilyn Jondle. When David opened the garage door to greet his son that night, Andrew repeatedly bashed him in the head with a metal pipe before stabbing him a few times with a scythe. Andrew’s mother heard the commotion in the garage and popped her head out to investigate. She, too, was beaten with a pipe. Their bodies were found the next morning by a delivery man. “I just couldn’t imagine Andrew doing something like this,” said Nate Rafn, a family friend. “In the limited times I saw him he wasn’t violent at all – he didn’t seem to be angry or troubled in any way. He just seemed to be a normal kid.” Neither drugs nor alcohol was involved in the killings, just pure rage. Why so much rage from a normally pleasant person? Police believe it may stem from the fact that the Jondles didn’t approve of the relationship between their youngest child and his much older girlfriend.…

Las Vegas, Nevada – Tom and Carla Chester were found dead in their Heritage Village mobile home on Wednesday by their 22-year-old daughter. 57-year-old Tom had been shot in the head, 51-year-old Carla had been shot and stabbed in the neck. Their Dodge Journey was missing and before long, their 18-year-old son, Timothy Chester, was named a suspect. Warren, Rhode Island - James Soares, 60, and his wife Marian Soares, 53, had been missing since July 9. On Saturday, they were found – dead. They’d been bludgeoned to death with a grub hoe and dumped in the cesspool at their home. Now their son, James Soares Jr., 24, is being charged with murder. Way to treat the parents like shit, James. Literally. The Soares home is a rural ranch style on Baltimore Avenue in Warren. Neighbors say that there were always six or seven people living in the home and lots of cars out front.
