Video Captures Two American Bulldogs Attacking Woman Before They Are Shot Dead By Police
May 22, 2013 at 4:07 pm by Morbid
Plainfield, NJ – A 55-year-old New Jersey woman is recovering in the hospital after being viciously attacked by two American bulldogs on Saturday.
The woman was walking down the street when the two 5-year-old dogs, named Max and Marley, escaped from an unlocked fence and began attacking her.
Most of the attack was captured on video and shows the woman on the ground trying to defend herself while the two dogs alternate biting her.
You can also see as the owner of the dogs, along with passerbys, try everything from hitting the dogs with sticks, honking horns, and physically drag the dogs away from the woman – to no avail
When police showed up to the scene, the dogs were still attacking the woman so the officers fired five shots, killing both dogs. Plainfield Police Captain Ed Santiago said he had no issues with the officers’ decision to act.
“The next bite of a dog like that could have been a jugular. It could have killed her,” he said. “They weren’t even paying attention to their owner.”
Neighbors said it wasn’t the first time the dogs had gotten loose.…

Toms River, NJ – According to Toms River police Chief Michael Mastronardy, 6-year-old Brandon Holt has died after being shot in the head by a 4-year-old friend.
On Monday evening, Brandon was playing in the backyard of the 4-year-old’s home when the younger boy went inside, then came back out with a .22 caliber rifle.
A shot went off and Brandon, who was standing about 15 yards away, was struck in the head. The boy was rushed to the hospital where he was initially listed in stable condition, but died on Tuesday after his condition steadily deteriorated.
Mastronardy called the shooting a tragic incident, but added that the Atlantic County prosecutor’s office currently investigating the incident to determine whether anyone should be facing criminal charges.
“I had just been telling my sister how nice it is to see kids playing together and enjoying themselves, and then this happens,” said Debi Coto, a neighbor. “I’m sad for the children involved and their families, but I’m angry with whoever owns that gun and allowed a little child to get hold of it.”
It would be very hypocritical of me to blast the owners of some the dogs we feature on this site without doing the same for some of the gun owners.…

April 3, 2013 at 8:59 am by Morbid
EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ – Police in New Jersey have accused Amy Ochetto of intentionally setting her home on fire while her 12-year-old daughter was still inside.
Sometime around 12:24 a.m. Tuesday, police and fire crews responded to a house fire call on Windwood Drive in the Cardiff section of the township. They would find Ochetto’s home on fire and helped get the woman’s daughter out of the home without injury, along with 41-year-old Yeser Bekete.
The Cardiff and Bargaintown fire companies were able to extinguish the blaze and later determined that the fire had been intentionally set. Detectives got involved and would accuse Amy Ochetto of using a flammable liquid to intentionally set the fire while her daughter and Bekete were still inside the house.
Ochetto was arrested and charged with aggravated arson, two counts of aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held on $100,000 cash bail. Police have not revealed why they believe Ochetto set fire to the house.
Some have wondered why Ochetto was not charged with attempted murder if she set the fire knowing there were occupants in the house.…

UNION, NJ — A 4-year-old boy was found starving inside an apartment with the body of his mother, who had been dead for about five days.
On Tuesday morning, a maintenance worker called police to report a foul odor coming from an apartment whose door was ajar but locked with a chain. When police arrived and entered the apartment, they found the emaciated 4-year-old inside with his mother, who was dead in her bedroom.
The boy told police he tried to heal his mother by rubbing lotion on her. He also told them he was unable to unlock the front door and had not eaten because he was unable to open the refrigerator.
“He made a statement to the officer that ‘There’s plenty of food in the refrigerator, but I couldn’t open the door,’” said Police Director Daniel Zieser. “So that’s kind of sad that nobody checked on him, no family members. It’s sad, very sad.”
Neighbors said they never heard any cries for help from the apartment, and police said there are no records of any 911 calls being made from the apartment.…

SOMERVILLE, N.J. - Amy Locane-Bovenizer, a former “Melrose Place” actress, has been found guilty of vehicular homicide after her drunk ass killed a woman by ramming her SUV into the side of another vehicle.
Back in June 2010, Locane-Bovenizer had tossed back some drinks at a cast party before tossing down a few more at a barbeque. She then chose to get behind the wheel of an SUV with a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit and wound up rear-ending Maureen Ruckelshaus.
Ruckelshaus confronted Locane-Bovenizer, who she says was obviously drunk, and asked her to get out of her vehicle she refused to turn off. Locane-Bovenizer responded to this request by fleeing the scene and taking out a few mailboxes in the process. Ruckelshaus gave followed behind Locane-Bovenizer for four miles at speeds that topped a whopping 35 mph.
But Locane-Bovenizer saw her chance to put some distance between herself and Ruckelshaus after the car in front of her moved out of the way. That’s when Locane-Bovenizer accelerated to 50 mph and ended up plowing into the passenger side of a car turning left into a driveway.…

Jersey City, NJ – Jargget Washington, 29, was arrested Sunday night while reportedly being nude, belligerent, and sky-high on PCP.
He had reportedly attempted to pull a driver out of a car, but failed when the man fought back. So much for that super-human strength PCP is supposed to give a dude.
Police were able to subdue Washington and transfer him to Jersey City Medical Center where he started acting up again, spitting at officers, chewing at his own wrists in an attempt to free himself, and devouring his medical ID bracelet.
He was eventually cleared for transfer to Hudson County Jail while still in his medical gown. On the way, he dropped a deuce in the police cruiser, which is something cops really seem to relish.
And, as we all know, an evacuation of one’s bowels can really work up a voracious appetite. Washington answered his body’s call for food by prompting him to eat his own finger right off his hand. Yeah, he swallowed it too. If you’ve had enough, you may now proceed to the comments section to submit your most inappropriate “dark meat” jokes.…

Clayton, NJ – At the time I typed this, officials have not officially identified the body that was found in a recycling container, but they preliminarily identified the body as that of Autumn Pasquale, the 12-year-old who was reported missing on Saturday.
Authorities said Pasquale was last seen around 12:30 p.m. Saturday riding her bike. A friend of her said that she exchanged text messages with her that day, the last one received at 1:22 p.m. that she did not believe was intended for her. She said the message read, “don’t be like that.”
Police say the last text she sent was at around 2.30 p.m. and that there was nothing alarming or unusual about it. She was reported missing at 9:30 p.m. after not arriving home by her 8 p.m. curfew. By Monday, about 200 law enforcement officials and hundreds of volunteers were out looking for her. By 10 p.m., she was found.
Investigators have not said exactly where in Clayton her body was located, other than saying that it was a few blocks from her home inside a recycling bin. An autopsy is to be conducted today to positively identify the body is Pasquale’s. Investigators say they have talked to at least 75 people, but that they do not have any suspects or know she left on her own or was the victim of foul play.…

TOMS RIVER, N.J. – A mother in New Jersey has been accused of boarding her 9-year-old daughter’s school bus and slapping her daughter’s 4th-grade bully.
According to reports, 28-year-old Rebecca Sardoni boarded a school bus Friday morning with her 51-year-old mother, Stephanie Sardoni. The pair were on the bus looking for one of the kids they say have been bullying Rebecca’s daughter as she rode the bus to and from East Dover Elementary School.
“Who is Vinny?” she asked according to other students and the bus driver. When Vinny raised his hand, the mother-daughter pair walked to the back of the bus where he was sitting and had a talk with him about his alleged bullying.
By “talk with him” I mean that they screamed and cursed at them while Rebecca allegedly slapped Vinny in the face. Not quite satisfied, Rebecca then slapped the face of the boy who was sitting next to Vinny. She also told them that she was taking them to court.
Both Vinny and the other boy were treated by Toms River school nurses for cuts to their mouths.…

CAMDEN, N.J. – Prosecutors say that a 6-year-old boy was killed trying to defend his sister from a man, under the influence of PCP, who had broken into their home and was sexually assaulting her.
In the middle of the night Sunday, 31-year-old Osvaldo “Popeye” Rivera broke into a home after smoking marijuana laced with PCP. He then attacked Amber, a 12-year-old girl who was sleeping on the floor with her 6-year-old brother Dominick Andujor. The siblings were being watched by a 14-year-old girl while their mother recovered in a local hospital after having surgery.
Rivera allegedly sexually assaulted Amber and slashed her throat in the process. She was only able to escape and seek help after her brother intervened in an attempt to protect his sister. Amber ran from the home and got help from Nakyta McCray, a neighbor who lived a few houses down.
“There was a lot of blood,” McCray told 911. “The little girl was just rocking back and forth. The cut went right along her throat.”
Amber was taken to the hospital with a slashed windpipe.…

FORT LEE, N.J. – A 16-year-old boy was killed Friday night after he stuck his head outside a double-decker party bus and struck the underside of a highway overpass.
Daniel Fernandez was with 65 other teens in a party bus headed towards a Sweet 16 party in New Jersey. The bus was crossing the George Washington Bridge from New York when Fernandez stuck his head out of an emergency hatch located in the roof of the bus, and his head hit the Fletcher Avenue Underpass.
The security guard on the bus says he told the teens, multiple times, to quit messing with the hatch. “I told them not to open the hatch, like three or four times, but kids, they don’t understand,” said 41-year-old Alex Franco.
Franco says that the incident happened when he walked downstairs to tell the driver it was getting too hot in the bus. That’s when he said he heard people screaming and ran back upstairs to see what happened and saw Fernandez laying on the floor covered in blood.
“I saw him on the floor,” said Franco.…

Jersey City, NJ – A man in New Jersey has been accused of raping a teen after tricking her into thinking she was getting a job at Victoria’s Secret and having her sign a sex contract.
Police say 33-year-old Gregory John Schaffer saw an ad in Craigslist posted by a 15-year-old girl looking for a summer job. He contacted her and told her that he owned several Victoria’s Secret stores and wanted to conduct an interview.
After he received a photo of the teen, he arranged for her to meet him at his office inside a building he shared with a bail bondsman and a disbarred lawyer. The girl arrived with a friend but was interviewed by Schaffer behind a closed door. Afterwards he informed her that she got the job and to return alone the next day prepared to work.
She arrived the next day and Schaffer handed her some papers to sign, explaining they were an employment contract and confidentiality agreement. After she signed them both without reading, Schaffer explained that what she had really signed was a sex contract.…

MANALAPAN, NJ – This past January, we reported on 32-year-old Jennifer Mahoney, the woman accused of streaming the sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl live on Skype.
She has now pleaded guilty to the charges and will face anywhere between 15 to 30 years in prison when she is sentenced in August.
For those of you who do did not catch this original story, Mahoney was charged with two federal counts of the sexual exploitation of a child after police retrieved three videos of Mahoney molesting a 5-year-old girl she was babysitting from the computer of Robert Ramos Jr. , who lives in Texas.
Two of the videos were Skype sessions that show Mahoney talking to someone online while wearing a lace top with her breasts exposed. She is kneeling at the foot of a bed performing oral sex on the sleeping child who is lying on her stomach with her buttocks exposed. At some points in the videos, Mahoney can be seen masturbating or laughing.

FORT LEE, N.J. – Police in New Jersey have arrested a man, accusing him of murdering his girlfriend by repeatedly running her over with his car.
Charles Ann, 26, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after police say he repeatedly ran over his girlfriend of one year, 25-year-old Aena Hong. She and Ann had been walking and arguing just before the incident, apparently over Hong wanting to end their relationship.
Ann allegedly got into his 2011 Hyundai Sonata and intentionally ran Hong down as she crossed the road. Not quite finished, he put the car in reverse and backed over her body before driving forward over Hong again. He did this approximately three more times before fleeing the scene.

Lyndhurst, NJ – Milan Patel, 21, was arrested Wednesday on charges that he robbed two men after allegedly pulling them over while impersonating a police officer.
Police said two men were driving in Lyndhurst when Patel, who was driving a Honda Civic, ‘pulled them over’ and identified himself as a police officer. Patel reportedly told the driver and passenger that they had been speeding. Police reports said that Patel then instructed the men to get out of the car at which point he conducted a pat-down search.
During the search, Patel reportedly took a cell phone and a wallet from the pair. Police said that Patel informed the victims that he was going to run a ‘computer search’ on the vehicle. The victims reported that Patel then went back to his car and fled.
The report did not describe the circumstances by which Patel was able to allegedly pull the victims’ car over. According to police, the victims said Patel never showed any form of identification. So, we are left to conclude that the official look of Patel’s vehicle combined with his steely gaze was enough to quell any suspicions.…

January 2, 2012 at 1:59 pm by Morbid
SOMERVILLE, NJ – Police have arrested the assistant principal at Bernardsville Middle School, accusing him of secretly filming underage boys taking showers at a Catholic high school for over three years.
I haven’t found what triggered the investigation that led to police searching 54-year-old Patrick J. Lott’s home, but when they did they found numerous videos of underage boys showering together. Using the videos, they were able to locate a hidden camera installed in the shower area of Immaculata High School where Lott volunteered as a videographer.
Prosecutors said the videos were made between January 2008 and Dec. 13 of this year and featured at least 22 boys showering, nine of which were underage at the time they were surreptitiously filmed.
Lott has been charged with 22 counts of invasion of privacy, and more than two dozen charges of endangering the welfare of a child. If he makes his $500,00 bail, he is not allowed to return to work, nor is he to have any contact with any children under the age of 16.…

December 20, 2011 at 9:49 am by Morbid
Wall, NJ – One of our readers read my comment on our Facebook Page about digging up some news for today and sent me a few links, including this story out of New Jersey where two youths filmed themselves beating a homeless man for the lulz.
The video, which you can watch below, shows 20-year-old Taylor Giresi and an unidentified 17-year-old boy filming themselves assaulting David Ivins, a homeless man, in a wooded area near the Jersey shore.
Be sure to watch the video and laugh as the young man pushes the disheveled Ivins to the ground, kicks him in the face and punches him. Barely contain your glee as the two steal Ivin’s bicycle.
“No, I need my bike!” he yells after his smiling attackers who respond with a bit of holiday cheer.
“Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah or whatever the (expletive) you are,” the cameraman yells. Guffaw!
But the comedy doesn’t end there. Try to contain your fits of laughter as the young man sarcastically apologizes to Ivins, who is bleeding, and gives the poor guy a hug before kneeing him in the stomach and a flying kick to the head.…

Mount Olive, NJ — Vincent Pasquarello, 19, has racked up a myriad of charges after a (hopefully) out-of-the-ordinary night. Police first became interested in Pasquarello after they were called by a diner in response to Pasquarello allegedly using a fake credit card to pay a $17.50 bill for a meal he had shared with his female companion. Police said that the couple told the diner staff that they were going outside to get money from their car – but then drove off.
Staff at the diner reported a description of the vehicle the fled in and reported it to police. A patrol officer saw a car matching the description and pulled it over. Police said that the officer identified the driver as the suspect from the diner. The officer also reportedly noted a “heavy odor of alcoholic beverages” and asked the driver to step out of the vehicle.
Police said that the driver, Pasquarello, shifted the car into drive and quickly accelerated from the scene. The patrol officer attempted to grab Pasquarello from the vehicle as he accelerated and had to free himself as the car drove off, police said.…
