Teen Charged With Murder Sentenced To Juvenile Detention Until He Is 21

Detroit – On August 1st, 2009, 24-year-old Trisha Babcock was sitting in a parked car when she was approached by a man with a gun who intended to rob her. A struggle insued and Babcock was shot in the chest, her purse stolen. She would later die in the hospital, but a fingerprint on the windo of the car would lead police to the shooter. 12-year-old DeMarco Harris. He was charged with felony murder, armed robbery, having a firearm during a felony and violating curfew. Under Michigan law, he could not be tried as an adult, but prosecutors filed the case with an adult designation – meaning the judge can impose an adult sentence if they want. Yesterday, Judge Sheila Gibson sentenced Harris to juvenile detention until he turns 21. At that time he will be re-evaluated by the court and a decision will be made on whether he goes free without serving any prison time for murdering a woman in cold blood or will serve the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole.…

St. Francisville, LA - Police say Jackson “Jack” Attuso, 8, was out enjoying an afternoon bike ride with his family Thursday afternoon, when he was brutally attacked and killed by 16-year-old Trevor Reese. According to authorities, Jack had become separated from his mother and twin brother on the trail. For reasons unknown, Trevor made contact with the child and stabbed him repeatedly in the back and chest before slitting his throat. Witnesses claim Trevor emerged from the woods, covered in blood, and said that he had “killed another boy.” Those same witnesses detained Trevor until the police arrived. In the meantime, Jack’s mother had doubled back on the trail and discovered her son’s lifeless body. Though she attempted CPR, it was too late – Jack was pronounced dead a short time later. Authorities say Jack put up a helluva struggle against his attacker. The little guy had numerous defensive wounds on his arms and a clump of the murderer’s hair in his hand. Sheriff’s deputies have recovered the knife believed to have been used in the attack and have obtained a search warrant to gather the necessary DNA evidence from Trevor.…

When she struck the victim with the Taser, the victim fell to the floor, and was shocked again and again, according to the account in the affidavit.

FLINT, Mich. - While a 12-year-old girl stood outside of her home shaking, neighbors heard screams coming from inside. The little girl told them that her 17-year-old brother was hitting their mother with a frying pan. The neighbors kicked in the door but it was too late for Victoria Odom. She was found lying on the floor in a pool of blood with a knife beside her. She would die at the hospital from blunt force trauma. Her son would also be placed in the hospital in serious condition, reports stating he was seen with bandages on his arms when police took him from the home. No reports on how the kid got the injuries, but if the attack on his mother was not in self-defense, I am hoping mom went down fighting. No word on what sparked the fight, but neighbors called the family quiet and polite and that the boy was to graduate HS this year.…

WYNNE, AR - God must have been distracted with that oil spill sullying up his ocean the other day because he obviously had his back turned to Arkansas where an 80-year-old woman was beaten to death in her church. Or maybe he was aware of it. I dunno and it really doesn’t matter I guess as either way, Lillian Wilson died in an extremely unpleasant fashion within the walls of the church she worshiped in. She had been at the Central United Methodist Church to help with storm relief and was found by her pastor, Dixon Platt, beneath one of the pews when he arrived there on Sunday to collect disaster care buckets she had brought. Police feel whoever did this took off in her gray Mercury Marquis, because it is currently missing. In the article I linked to, it states “One suspect is reportedly Thomas Tweedle, a man in his early 40s.” with absolutely no other information on why he is a suspect. Dakota Valkyrie has a story in the forums about the man who killed his wife and stuffed her body in a barrel last year. Philip Kingery, 48, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Franklin County Circuit Court Judge William Alexander accepted the plea and sentenced Kingery to 25 years in prison. His defense was that at the time of the murder his capacities were diminished by an addiction to the steroids he had been prescribed for a sinus problem and Starbucks coffee. Source…

- Peru – You all remember Joran van der Sloot, right? The Dutch jackass everyone thinks is responsible for the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway? Well Peruvian officials have announced that he is now a suspect in the killing of a woman in Peru. 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was found dead in a Lima hotel room registered in van der Sloot’s name. Witnesses also reported seeing the pair entering the hotel room together. Where is van der Sloot you may be wondering? According to immigration officials, Van de Sloot fled to Chile over land on Monday.
- PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. - An ex-CSI cheif is gonna spend some time in prison after being convicted of planting evidence.

Van Nuys, California - Police are on the lookout for 30-year-old Steven Hill who witnesses say went on a rampage at the offices of Ultima DVD Inc., a company that produces porn and where he was allowed to live. Hill was working on a shoot when it is reported he did something inappropriate and was told that he was going to be fired and that he would have to move out of the building. Hill went on a rampage, grabbed a samurai sword prop and proceeded to stab a co-worker. When two other employees tried to intervene, Hill attacked them with the sword as well. One of those Good Samaritans has died at the hospital. Hill fled the scene in a 1996 blue Toyota RAV4, with license plate number 5YTC423. Spartanburg, SC - A 90-year-old South Carolina man has been arrested and charged with killing his 85-year-old wife with a hatchet following an argument. Police say they responded to the home of William and Jeanette after recieving a domestic disturbance call. When they arrived, they found William sitting in the living room with his grandson, who had called 911, and Jeanette on the floor of her bedroom. She was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead. Details on the argument that led to the attack are not being reported at this time. How shitty is that for Jeanette? Make it all the way to 85 only to die in an absolutely horrific way such as this at the hands of your husband. I wonder if this guy has all of his mental capacities? GRESHAM, Ore. - Back in October, 1-year-old Ariana Magathan was being cared for by her grandmother, Carolyn Bellamy, when 911 was called by someone reporting that the little girl had fallen out of bed and was knocked unconscious. She died four days later, just shy of her 2nd birthday. But medical examiners were not buying the story. The injuries Ariana suffered were not consistent with a fall out of a bed, and more consistent with someone playing bongos on it with their fists. “The Medical Examiner has described the cause of death as violent blunt force trauma to the head. It has been agreed that the injury is not consistent with a fall out of bed,” Sgt Rick Wilson with the Gresham Police Department said. So on Wednesday a grand jury indicted Bellamy on felony murder and manslaughter charges. On Thursday, police arrested Bellamy at her home and put her in jail without bail.…

Tempe police need help trying to track down and arrest the jackass who couldn’t even perform a simple purse snatching without killing a woman. Kyleigh Ann Sousa, a 21-year-old ASU student, was approached by a heavyset man in a newer model silver Chrysler 300 on Wednesday morning. The driver reached out and grabbed her purse before driving off. Sadly, Sousa’a arm became entangled in her purse strap and she was dragged a few feet before hitting her head on the pavement – she would die from her injuries later that night. Sgt. Steve Carbajal stated that there were witnesses to the incident, but no one got a good look at the driver describes as a Hispanic with a heavy build, driving a silver, four-door Chrysler 300. He and another man killed UNC Student Body President Eve Carson. She was taken from her home, driven around to various ATM’s before Atwater used a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun to kill her. - NEW CITY, NY – A good Samaritan tried to break up a fight between two dog owners at Kennedy-Dells Park and was bitten by one of the men involved.

Dakota Valkyrie has posted an article in the forums about Scott Hahn – a 39-year-old man accused of smothering his estranged wife, Kimberly Kane, at the Holiday House hotel back on May 14th. After the alleged smothering, Hahn reportedly wrapped the woman’s body in a blanket, bound it with cable and attempted to remove it from the hotel grounds on a luggage cart. Amazon has posted in the forums the tale of deadly teen twins Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah Whitehead. The 16-year-old girls stand accused of beating and stabbing their mother to death. Jarmecca Whitehead’s body was found in her home on January 13. The girls initially told investigators they had discovered their dead mother after returning home from school. After a 4-month investigation, both were arrested. According to authorities, “one (twin) was somewhat hostile and the other was almost passive, almost disinterested,” at the time of their arrest. Lehigh Acres, FL - The dude with the really rad hairdo is Manuel Rosales – his ugly mug is staring back at you today because the murderous miscreant allegedly got all slash happy on the throats of his 21-year-old daughter and her 3-month-old son. Manuel and his daughter, Karminda Rosales Salazar, didn’t exactly have what you would call a ‘close’ father-daughter relationship. According to authorities, Karminda has been trying her damnedest to keep Daddy Dearest out of her life and there is a history of domestic violence between the two. In 2008, officers arrived at the Rosales home and found Karminda battered and bruised, supposedly by the hand of her father. Though arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery, Manuel was not prosecuted. In May of ’09, Karminda asked for and was granted an order of protection from Manuel after another incident of abuse. As luck would have it, that order expired last Thursday. Whether the two had contact prior to the expiration of the order is unknown, but whatever the case, the two were reportedly living in the same home last Thursday when Manuel lost his fucking mind.…

DENVER, Pa. – On April 17th, 4-year-old Alexandrea died from a lethal dose of methadone and Xanax. Yesterday her 30-year-old father, Brian Moskal, was charged with killing her. Moskal is legally allowed to possess and use these drugs for himself, but admitted to investigators that he also gave them to his daughter. He stated that he gave the girl two doses of the drugs, one at 8 p.m. and one at midnight the morning before she was found unresponsive. Moskal is charged with criminal homicide, drug delivery resulting in death, drug delivery and endangering the welfare of a child. He was not in jail long before he was transported to the hospital in critical condition. No word on why. After posting this, I wanted to double-check to see if anyone had reported on why he was hospitalized. I didn’t find anything, but did find his full mugshot. Police say that she was thrown from a moving vehicle and currently do not know if she was killed and then dumped onto the freeway, or if she died as a result of being thrown out of a vehicle. D’D member Whisperswing posted a heartbreaking story of Michael Berry, a man who pulled up next to his ex-wife’s car and fired five shots through the front windshield killing her. Four children, ages 3-13, who were also inside the car with their mother at the time were not physically harmed. Winter Haven, Florida – Hospital workers in Winter Haven Hospital’s medical surgery unit heard gunshots coming from the 5th floor room of 76-year-old Patricia Duckworth. When they made their way into the room they found her dead from a gunshot wound and her husband, 77-year-old Raymon Duckworth dead after having turned a gun on himself. Patricia was in the hospital being treated for a stroke she suffered a month ago, and Raymon had been driving to visit her everyday. “Everybody here, our whole staff, we’re obviously shaken. Our hearts go out to the family members that are affected here. It’s just a tragedy,” the hospital’s vice president, Joel Thomas said. Chicago – Anthony Kyser, 35, placed some tubes of toothpaste in his jacket pocket and left the CVS store without paying. An employee who witnessed the theft ran after Kyser and caught up with him in an alley near the store. The employee then placed Kyser in a chokehold.
Three other men joined in and attempted to restrain Keyser who was yelling that he could not breathe. Keyser fell unconscious and died. On Sunday the medical examiner ruled his death a homicide by strangulation, but police have stated that no charges will be filed against the employee. They are ruling the death as accidental.
The Kyser family isn’t too happy about the news. “How is this not murder – it doesn’t make sense,” his ex-wife, Ann Balboa said. “They’ve taken away my kids’ pops.” The family is planning on suing someone.
