PEARLAND, TX – Joshua Wilkerson, 18, was reported missing on Tuesday after no one had heard from him since leaving school earlier that day. Later that evening, his parents would find his truck abandoned at a strip mall and police would take in a classmate, 19-year-old Hermilo Moralez, loitering near the area and acting suspicious. A massive search began on Wednesday morning, searchers later being directed to a field by Moralez, where they would find Wilkerson’s partially burned body. Moralez confessed to the killing, telling them he and Wilkerson, whom he had known for five years, got into a fight after Wilkerson allegedly made sexual advances towards him. The fight ended with Moralez beating the teen to death with a wooden rod. Moralez told police he dumped Wilkerson’s body in the field and tried to burn it before abandoning the victim’s truck in a strip center parking lot, throwing Wilkerson’s shoes and backpack into a dumpster. This kid is a nut, so obviously his motive could be and probably is complete bullshit.…
Continue ReadingBodies Of Missing Family Found Dead, Stuffed Inside Hollowed-Out Tree
November 19, 2010 at 9:37 am by MorbidHOWARD, Ohio — Police have located the bodies of a missing woman, her son and a family friend after receiving information from their suspected murderer’s lawyer. We know a lot of you have been following this nightmare of a case, and sadly it ends the way some had expected. A massive search for Tina Herrmann, 32, her son Kody Maynard, 10, her daughter Sarah Maynard,13, and family friend Stephanie Sprang, 41, began after Hermann did not show up for work earlier this month. Days later, on Nov 14th, Sarah would be found bound and gagged in the basement of 30-year-old Matthew Hoffman’s home. Police say he had been watching the family and was taken into custody and charged with her abduction. Yesterday investigators were called by Hoffman’s lawyers and given directions to a hollowed-out tree in Apple Valley, Ohio. Stuffed inside the tree the bodies of the missing trio were found wrapped in garbage bags still wearing the same clothes they had last been seen in. Police had already prepared the public that the outcome may not be a good one based on some of the blood evidence they had found, but were still holding out some hope that they would be found alive.…
Continue ReadingColumbus, OH – Following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend late Tuesday evening, police say 20-year-old Quindell Sherman grabbed his 3-month-old son and repeatedly threw the child to the pavement. “When I looked around I saw him grab the baby, probably for the second time, and toss the baby on the pavers over there on the road,” said neighbor Barbara Webb. “Head first and then dangle the baby with one arm in the air.” After slam-dunkin’ the kid several times, Sherman picked him up and ran off down the street. Both he and the severely injured infant were found in a nearby dumpster. Responding officers attempted to resuscitate the child, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later. Quindell Sherman has been booked on murder charges. According the Sherman’s girlfriend, this isn’t the act of violence in their relationship. She told police that back in January, while she was still pregnant, Sherman pushed her down, struck her and spit on her. No charges were filed because she was uninjured and had admitted to striking Sherman as well.…
Continue ReadingElderly Woman Dies After Stranger Pushes Her Onto Tracks Of LA Metro
November 16, 2010 at 10:26 am by MorbidLos Angeles, CA – Mary and Betty Sugiyama, both in their 80s, had planned to spend Sunday doing what they love most — shopping. They had planned to pick up items at Walmart and Nordstrom Rack in Long Beach and didn’t want to miss their train that had just arrived into the Little Tokyo station. As they were rushing to board the train, the sisters noticed a woman sitting alone on a bench near the tracks. As they went passed her, she suddenly jumped up and shouted something before pushing Betty off the platform and onto the tracks. Mary said she heard her sister’s skull crack and then watched as the woman, dressed in all black, sit back down without uttering a word. Betty would be rushed to the hospital, but died from her injuries on Sunday night. When police arrived at the scene, they found Jackkqueline Pogue, 44, still on the platform. She was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder. As I type this out there is still no motive in the attack, but I am guessing Pogue ain’t right in the head.…
Continue ReadingMan Charged With Murdering Missing Teen, Having Sex With Corpse
November 9, 2010 at 1:43 pm by MorbidLOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Been a while since necrophilia has been a tag on D’D, but Louisville police have arrested a man they say murdered a missing teen, then had sex with his corpse. The family of 18-year-old Andrew Compton reported him missing on Oct 30th after he had not been seen or heard from in two days. His parents would find out that on the day he disappeared, he had used his computer to communicate with 40-year-old Gregory O’Bryan. Police questioned O’Bryan who admitted he had met with Compton and that they’d had sex at O’Bryan’s apartment. Afterwards he says the teen left on foot. Last week police executed a search warrant on O’Bryan’s apartment where he would change his story. He told police that Compton had died while they were having sex and that he had continued having sex with Compton anyway before disposing of Compton’s body. O’Bryan was arrested and charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. Compton’s parents had created a Facebook Page in hopes of getting information on his whereabouts and stated they had warned Compton about him meeting strangers online.…
Continue ReadingBartlesville, OK — Here’s the final story for Friday and boy does it end the day on a down note. Bartlesville police say that they have arrested a 26-year-old woman after her 10-day-old infant was found dead inside a running washing machine. On Thursday night, a 911 call was by Lyndsey D. Fiddler who told dispatchers her baby was dead. You can hear Fiddler on the 911 call blaming the baby’s aunt for the death who replies, “No I didn’t kill your baby. You did.” Police were dispatched to the location where they found Maggie May dead inside the washing machine. Bartlesville Police Chief Tom Holland said the baby’s aunt last saw the baby when Fiddler left the living room to go feed her. Fiddler returned without the baby. It’s when she went to look for the baby that she noticed that the washing machine was running out-of-balance and went to investigate. When she lifted the lid she found wet clothes inside with the dead baby. Fiddler was charged with manslaughter this afternoon on top of charges for failing to appear to court for an April arrest for drug possession.…
Continue ReadingTucson, AZ – Tucson police have arrested a man’s 16-year-old daughter in connection with his murder, along with her 19-year old boyfriend. Police were called to a home on Sunday after a family filed a missing persons report. They told police 40-year-old Andres Sanchez had been missing since Oct 20th, but had not reported anything as they believed he had left voluntarily. “The family had received information from what they thought at the time to be from him and that he had left on his own free will,” said Sgt. Diana Lopez. Police were called back out to the home early Monday morning after the family obtained further information that led to his daughter, Clarissa Andrea Sanchez, and her boyfriend, Larry Raymond Coronado, being taken to police headquarters for further questioning. Later that day officers were sent to a stretch of desert northwest of 40th and San Joaquin where they would find a badly decomposed body. They have not listed a cause of death aside from saying the body showed signs of trauma.…
Continue ReadingMan Kills Teen Then Self Hours Before She Was Scheduled To Testify Against Him
October 29, 2010 at 10:09 am by MorbidNEWPORT, Mich. – When Robert Manley arrived home from work early Wednesday morning, his 15-year-old daughter was missing and the front door looked as if it had been forced open. 911 was called and an Amber Alert issued. Within hours Taylor E. Manley’s body, along with 38-year-old Raymond R. Bush, were found dead in his truck parked almost 200 miles away in a small Newport cemetery. She had been shot multiple times and he had shot himself. No definitive motive at this point, but it probably had a lot to do with the fact that Manley was scheduled to testify against Bush in a sexual assault case that morning. Bush was a friend of Taylor’s mother and he and the teen had been involved in a sexual relationship. When her mother found out about it, police were called and Bush was eventually charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony, and was free after posting $50,000 bond. Manley had been preyed upon by Bush, according to her father, and even had her name tattooed on the back of his neck.…
Continue ReadingMARTINEZ, Calif. – A nurse working at the Contra Costa County Jail has died after being attacked by an inmate on Monday. Cynthia Palomata, 55, an employee for the Contra Costa Health Services, was checking on burglary suspect Aaron Nygaard, 34, who was brought to her after having a seizure in his holding cell. But Nygaard admitted to her that he had faked the seizure because “he did not want to be in a particular waiting room” then without warning, picked up a lamp and hit Palomata in the head, knocking her unconscious. Police rushed in and had to physically subdue Nygaard who, even after being Tased, was still violently resisting them. Palomatta, a nurse for 20 years, was taken to the hospital but died from her injuries on Thursday morning. Contra Costa County Sheriff Warren Rupf said Nygaard had no prior criminal record before being picked up for suspicion of burglary that morning and had shown no signs of aggression during his time at the jail that day. On Wednesday, Nygaard was charged with premeditated and deliberate attempted murder with an enhancement for causing great bodily injury.…
Continue ReadingMother Accused Of Killing Baby Over Game Of Farmville Pleads Guilty
October 28, 2010 at 2:10 pm by MorbidJacksonville, FL -- The mother who shook her baby like a maraca because it interrupted her game of Farmville has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Back in January, 22-year-old Alexandra V. Tobias, was arrested for the death of her 3-month-old son, Dylan Lee Edmondson. She admitted that she had gotten angry because Dylan was crying while she was trying to play Farmville, that lame-ass game on Facebook played by losers everywhere. She said she shook the baby, smoked a cigarette to compose herself, then shook the baby again — adding that Dylan may have hit his head at some point during the assault. A second-degree murder charge could carry a life sentence, but Tobias’ sentence could be anywhere from 25 to 50 years according to the prosecutor. Her pleading guilty also keeps the family from having to hear the graphic details of how a baby who dies from being shaken usually have their brains rotated inside their skulls. If she’d been a bit smarter, she’d could have just slathered the kid with bacon grease and left him alone with the family dog.…
Continue ReadingHAYWARD, Calif. — I got another school story I was gonna post, but ran across this odd story out of California concerning twins that caught my interest. Police are trying to determine if a 15-year-old killed his twin brother, or if he is part of a botched suicide pact. On Tuesday, a neighbor called police reporting seeing a teen breaking into a neighbor’s home. When police arrived, they were confronted by the teen who had self-inflicted stab wounds and turned on all the gas jets in the home. He begged the officers to shoot him, so they obliged…with their Taser. It was while he was in custody that friends and family were questioned after police learned that his twin brother was missing. His body was found Wednesday morning in a heavily-wooded ravine behind Hayward high school, which both boys attended. “At this point we’re trying to determine if this was a suicide by the brother and attempted suicide by the other brother or if the brother arrested murdered the sibling,” said Alameda County Sheriff’s Department Sgt.…
Continue ReadingSkeletal Remains Found In Louisiana Identified As Those Of Missing Las Vegas Girl
October 28, 2010 at 8:32 am by MorbidLas Vegas, NV – The skeletal remains found by hunters in Louisiana earlier this month have been identified as those of a 12-year-old girl from Las Vegas missing since September. Lexis Kaye Roberts was last seen with her mother, 31-year-old Suellen Roberts, and her boyfriend of two months, 53-year-old Thomas Steven Sanders. They had taken a Labor Day road trip to Arizona to visit the Bearizona Wildlife Park in Arizona. Police know that the trio made it there as they signed into their hotel room and surveillance footage captures them entering the wildlife park. What happened after that is what police would like to know and are currently looking for Roberts and Sanders. Shortly after they went missing, family members voiced fears that Sanders, a man with a criminal record they knew little about, had something to do with it. “I think maybe he did something to my daughter and now my granddaughter is with him alone. I don’t know,” says Suellen’s mother and Lexis’s grandmother. If anyone has any information on the location of Suellen Roberts or Thomas Sanders, they are asked to call the Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-744-541.…
Continue Reading“America’s Got Talent” Contestant Named Person Of Interest In Wife’s Death
October 27, 2010 at 3:10 pm by MorbidLos Angeles, CA — From the looks of things, all the major news sites are already jumping all over this one but I figured I would jump on the bandwagon because the story is interesting. Police say that while Joe Finley was waiting in line to audtion for AMERICA’S GOT TALENT his wife, Laura Finley, was lying dead at the bottom of a stairwell at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel where they were staying. Police have not determined whether her fall down eight flights of stairs was an accident, suicide or murder, but have named Joe as a person of interest. Why? Well mainly because he told police that he last saw his wife when she left the room at 3 a.m. Saturday, presumably to get ice. When he woke up the next morning he could not find her so he had her paged over the hotel intercom but eventually left to make his audition. Also making the cops a bit suspicious was the fact that when they showed him a picture of his wife with bruises all over her face he reportedly responded “Oh, she’s dead,” even though they had not told him she was dead at that time.…
Continue ReadingBody Of Woman Found In Barrel At Home Owned By Twice-Convicted Murder
October 26, 2010 at 11:07 am by MorbidNORTHWEST HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Cops are looking for a man on parole for murder after the body of a woman was found stuffed in a barrel in the backyard of his home. Police say a tipster informed them that Dennis Anderson, 64, admitted to strangling the woman and placing her in the barrel that he has carried with him to every residence he has moved to since. When investigators arrived at his residence they found his roommate, who had been living with Anderson for only a couple weeks, and he led them to the barrel. Once opened, the skeletal remains of the woman were found inside underneath a layer of peat moss. The unidentified body was wrapped in a bed sheet, and then two black trash bags were wrapped around. Investigators stated, “the legs had been tied together utilizing what appeared to be weed eater line that was also tied around the neck of the unknown victim.” Anderson is a convicted child killer, convicted of killing a 3-year-old girl and her grandmother back in ’72.…
Continue ReadingSt. Petersburg, FL – You guys remember that aggravating chick from a few years back who couldn’t quit hiccuping? Well she’s back in the spotlight again after being charged murdering a man. Police allege 19-year-old Jennifer Mee lured 22-year-old Shannon Griffin to an address in St. Petersburg where two of her cohorts were waiting to rob him at gunpoint. Griffin struggled with the suspects and was shot several times for his efforts. Now Mee, Laron Raiford, 20, and Lamont Newton, 22, are facing murder charges. “All three suspects admitted to their involvement and were charged with 1st degree felony murder,” St. Petersburg Police Sgt. T.A. Skinner said in a statement. And since this happened in Florida, Mee and her pals could have a date with the Needle or the Chair. I wasn’t aware that Mee had been in the news a couple times after her hiccuping ordeal. Once shortly after she was “cured” when she ran away from home and another time when her mother reported her missing earlier this year after she got into a fight with her boyfriend.…
Continue ReadingDavid Williams: Respected Colonel By Day, Depraved Sexual Predator By Night
October 19, 2010 at 3:09 am by JadedBelleville, ON - Damn…this story has so many different layers of ick that I don’t quite know where to begin. Col. David Russell Williams, once a well-respected commander in the Canadian air force, CFB Trenton, stood in court this week and listened as charge after charge against him was read. The list, which took a whoppin’ 36 minutes to complete, included two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of forcible confinement and 82 separate breaking and entering charges that date back to 2007. Williams pleaded guilty to each and every charge. As for the two counts of murder, the 42-year-old man has admitted to the brutal beating, rape and murder of 38-year-old Marie-France Comeau, a flight attendant at CFB Trenton, in November of 2009. And authorities say Williams documented the entire incident on video. Williams also confessed to the kidnapping, torture, rape and murder of 27-year-old Jessica Elizabeth Lloyd earlier this year. Authorities say Williams abducted the woman on the evening of January 28 and took her to his cottage where he raped and tortured her for at least a day before strangling her and dumping her body in a field.…
Continue ReadingMan Convicted Of Murder In Shooting Death Of Neighbor During Dispute Over Award Winning Lawn
October 18, 2010 at 1:07 pm by MorbidChicago, IL – The man who shot his neighbor for letting his puppy urinate on his lawn has been found guilty of second-degree murder. We posted about 69-year-old Charles Clements back in May of last year but for those of you too lazy to click a link, Clements was arrested after shooting his neighbor, 23-year-old Joshua Funches during a dispute over dog piss. Having repeatedly earned University Park’s lawn upkeep award, Clements was very protective of his lawn, often verbally harassing anyone who stepped near or on his grass. So when Funches’ puppy pissed on it, Clements wasn’t very happy. The two men got into a verbal confrontation that led to Clements pulling a gun to which Funches allegedly remarked, “Next time you pull out a pistol, why don’t you use it.” Clements then shot Funches in the gut, killing the father of two. Initially charged with 1st and 2nd-degree murder, the former marine was convicted of second-degree murder on Friday. He faces 20 years in prison with an option for probation when he is sentenced on Dec 21st.…

October 18, 2010 at 12:16 pm by MorbidGASTONIA, N.C. – Early Sunday morning, a police officer discovered the bodies of a couple inside their SUV after noticing their vehicle in the Gastonia Police Department parking lot with their brake lights on. The pair were identified as 45-year-old Randy Newman and his wife, Laura, 47, both dead in an apparent murder-suicide. Currently reports are stating that Randy shot and killed Laura and then committed suicide. October 18, 2010 at 8:24 am by MorbidBaltimore, Maryland — A man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after he killed an off-duty police detective during an argument over a parking space. Brian Stevenson was celebrating his 38th birthday with friends on Saturday night when he pulled into a parking space in front of a restaurant. He was approached by 25-year-old Sian James and an argument ensued in which witnesses describe James using a piece of concrete to hit Stevenson in the head before fleeing the scene with a female companion. The 18-year police veteran would be rushed to the hospital where he would later die from his injuries. James, who has a history of domestic violence, was picked up later that evening at a downtown nightclub. Stevenson was described as a great detective whose unit investigates crimes such as shootings, assaults and robberies. He leaves behind a wife and children.…

October 14, 2010 at 11:21 am by MorbidFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – People eating their lunch at Hooters and Fat Tuesday on Fort Lauderdale’s beach were witnesses to the horrific end of a domestic dispute as a man opened fire on his sister before turning the gun on himself. Police say that Juan Alicea Orozco, 23, and his sister, 25-year-old Jesnishia Alicea Orozco, were visiting their mother at the Beach Place cigar stand where she works at the main entrance of the beachfront shopping and entertainment complex. The siblings were arguing about money and living arrangements stemming from Orozco’s landlord having begun proceedings to have him evicted from a rental property. Their mother told police that after she turned away from the pair she heard multiple shots. When she looked back she saw both of her children laying on the ground in a pool of blood. “”He just leaned over … and shot two more shots into the girl,” said witness Lori Podewell, a tourist from Illinois. Both were taken to Broward General Medical Center where Juan would die shortly after arriving.…
