Arlington, Washington - On Monday Keira Earhart,38, pulled into his driveway to witness someone running from his house. He went inside to find his wife’s jewelry missing and called 911. Police arrived but after a search, were unable to find the burglar. A second 911 call was made a few hours later, Earhart telling police that the burglar was back in the area and that he had ran into a field near his house. Police arrived a second time, finding Earhart in the field, but once again they were not able to find the burglar. On Wednesday morning a neighbor called police saying he had found the body of a man in a creek near Monday’s burglary. The body was of a 25-year-old who had been shot to death. After a little investigating, police learn neighbors heard shots on Monday, before the second 911 call was placed. One reported Earhart told them he had taken “warning shots” at the burglar. Earhart was booked into jail facing second-degree murder charges. The dead man did have the stolen property in his possession.  Not sure if the Castle Doctrine applies in Washington, but even if it did I am pretty sure it doesn’t cover shooting a fleeing burglar in a field near your house three hours after the crime was committed. BOCA RATON, Florida – Pamela Flowers was reported missing by her roommate who stated she has not seen or heard from Flowers since she left for a HalloweenHalloween reviews party on Oct 30th. Police began an investigation that led them to Flower’sFlower reviews ex-boyfriend’s apartment. No one would come to the door so police gained entry on Tuesday via a search warrant. InsideInside reviews they found 49-year-old Christopher Sharpe hiding, as well as Flower’s corpse. Police say it looks as if she had been dead for some time. Sharpe was arrested and has been charged with first-degree murder. Not to be too morbid, but I think that if I had just murdered someone in my apartment, I’d have an easier time trying to dispose of it in pieces than to living in the place while it rotted in another room. OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma police say the suspect in the deaths of four people has turned himself in. 28-year-old David Allen Tyner surrendered to the Mayes County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday and now faces six murder charges. He is a suspect in the deaths of Jennifer Lynn Ermey, Casey M. Barrientos and Millie Barrera and 22-year-old Brooke Phillips – one of the prostitutes featured on the HBO reality series “CathouseCathouse reviews.” On November 9, their bodies were found in a burning home where Phillips and Barrera had been shot to death – Phillips was shot six times. Both women were pregnant (hence the six murder charges.) A motive is not known at this point, but Tyner supposedly knew one of the victims. There may be more arrests to come as police do not feel Tyner acted alone. Radar Magazine has a lot of articles about this case and it looks like Phillips hung out with a pretty rough crowd. Dunnellon, FL – She took him in four years ago so he wouldn’t have to face the hell that is the foster care system. She loved him, cared for him, put a roof over his head, and fed him. Now, 66-year-old Doris Babcock is dead – the young boy she took under her wing, 19-year-old Zachary Snyder, stands accused of murdering her. Damn. I think a nice ‘Thank You’ card would have been sufficient. Doris’s husband, a long-distance truck driver, called police on SaturdaySaturday reviews and requested a well-being check on his wife when he was unable to get in contact with her. When authorities arrived at the home, they came in contact with Zachary – who, the husband told them, was not supposed to be there. The couple had asked him to leave the home a few weeks earlier after they discovered he had been stealing from them. Zachary, who appeared to have cuts on his hands and Doris’s debit and credit cards in his pockets, told officers that Doris wasn’t home. Highland Park, MI - Information is still trickling in on this one, but here’s what we have so far. It is being reported that at around 2:15 Monday afternoon, witnesses watched Jamarr Pinkney Sr. march his naked 15-year-old son, Jamarr Pinkney Jr., out of a home and to an empty field. Once at the field, Pinkney Sr. allegedly ordered his child to “get on the ground” – the boy could be heard saying, “No daddy, no.” Pinkney Sr. grabbed the boy’s head and fired one round. WitnessesWitnesses reviews say Pinkney Sr. then calmly walked to his vehicle and drove off. The teen died from his injuries later that afternoon – authorities took Pinkney Sr. into custody a few hours after the execution. The boy’s aunt, Yolanda Cherry, states that father and son had been arguing in her home earlier that day. “He beat my nephew real bad in the head where he had knots like he had been in a boxing ring,” she said. When she tried to intervene, Pinkney Sr. pulled out a gun. “I ran down the street to get police down here and I heard a gunshot.” As always, we’ll keep you updated as more information is made available. ST. CHARLES, Illinois – We have seen our fair share of adults getting ridiculously involved in their kid’s business here at D’D, but here is another example of it going into psychotic territory. 33-year-old  Timera Branch was pissed off at 17-year-old John Keyes because of an altercation he got into with her son at a dance SaturdaySaturday reviews night. Her son was mad about his girlfriend dancing with Keyes. This led to Branch’s son getting punched in the face. The next day Keyes was in the driveway of some apartments when Timera Branch drove her car over a curb, rammed Keyes and killed him by crushing him against a building. She was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and is being held on $1 million bond. ALBUQUERQUE - On Thursday evening 20-year-old Brittni Carlini went to the home of Ryan Vigil and Chris Midyette, both 19, to pick up her snowboard for an upcoming snowboarding trip. While there, she got into an argument with Vigil. As she tried to leave Midyette struck her two or three times over the head with a baseball bat. They the put her in the back of a vehicle, drove to a rural part of Rio Rancho, burned her body and buried it in a shallow grave. It’s not clear on why she was murdered, but Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson Nadine Hamby said, “Ryan had disclosed that he had an issue with her and that Chris was protecting him and he had his back and that is why he struck Brittni.” Both are charged with an open count of murder and tampering with evidence. Belen, New Mexico – The story of any son getting so angry at their father that he would shoot them in the back of the head is tragic enough but this story is compounded by the fact that Benjamin Hilburn was only 10 when he pulled the trigger. Benjamin would state in the 911 call that he was angry at his father, 42-year-old Bryon Hilburn. He would expand on that later, telling investigators he felt his father was too harsh with him and punished him too much. In August police say Benjamin shot his dad in the back of the head with a shotgun while his 6-year-old sister was in the room. Benjamin, now 11 years old, is in the custody of his mother and has been charged with first-degree murder. It is quite possible he is the youngest person to be charged with murder in New Mexico, a state that does not charge anyone under 14 as adults. FLEMING ISLAND, Florida - When Dana Whitelaw, 47, got out of the shower Tuesday morning, she found her entire family dead. Her husband, Jerry Whitelaw, 49, had shot their two children — 16-year-old son, Kevin, and 11-year-old daughter, Katy — while they slept. He then turned the gun on himself. Court records show that Dana had filed for divorce in late AugustAugust reviews after 16 years of marriage, but continued to live together during the process. Police have no records of ever having to go to their residence in the past. Kevin was a junior at St. Johns Country Day in Orange Par, Katie attended Grace Episcopal. I think what makes this particular murder-suicide is the blatant purpose behind it. Jerry wanted Dana to live after this, knowing it was the best possible way to hurt her. Kill her kids, then let her live with that fact. Absolutely horrifying in its cold-blooded callousness. I can not possibly imagine anything my wife could do to me that could have me killing my own kids to get back at her. Kelliher, MN - On October 20th, Betsy Hanks called 911 to report that she returned home to discover her common-law-husband and father to her four children was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Matthew Albert, 27, was still breathing but unconscious when officers arrived on scene – he died from the injury two days later. Now, how did that bullet find it’s way into Matthew’s head? ST. MARTINS, Missouri – Here we go, another little girl has vanished while walking home. Maybe this will end differently than the Somer Thompson disappearance. At 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten was walking the quarter mile home from a friend’s house in the 600 block of Route D south of St. Martins. She never arrived at her home. The Cole County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory. Olten is a white, 9-year-old female. She is 5′ 2″ and 108 lbs. with brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion with physical marks. She was last seen wearing a pink scarf, pink shirt and pink sweater and blue jeans with white sneakers. She was also carrying a cell phone. The sheriff’s department contacted the cell phone provider, AT&T, who “pinged” the cell phone to triangulate its location. AT&T put the cell phone’s location deep in the woods near Elizabeth’sElizabeth reviews home. The girl’s family members said she is afraid of the woods and the dark. [Read more...]

Cartwright, Oklahoma – Not a lot of details on this but enough to raise some questions. 11-year-old Dakota Cheyenne Hughes was spending the weekend at her Aunt’s house who lives next door. Reports state that she was up late watching movies with 34-year-old Jason Lee Belew — an acquaintance of one of Dakota’s relatives and a man she had known for about a month. At around 4 a.m. the Aunt woke up and found Dakota dead in a back bedroom and Jason was nowhere to be found. Huron Township – This is one of the most horrifyingly callous stories I have written about in a while. I have read through about 15 different articles and got sicker the entire time. Sharon Hinojosa, 29, lived in a mobile home with her boyfriend Justin Whisler. Early Friday morning, the mobile home caught fire. Hinojosa was able to escape the blaze with the 1-year-old she shared with Whisler. Sadly,her two other children she had with another man, 4-year-old Anthony, and 3-year-old Alayna, perished in the flames — despite attempts by neighbors to rescue them. Now police have charged Hinojosa with setting the fire and purposely leaving her two children to burn alive. It is a heinous accusation and now that some details have come to light, coupled with the fact that she is now in the hospital after drinking rubbing alcohol, seem to have a lot of merit [Read more...]

INDIANTOWN, Florida – 45-year-old Terry Bell was housed in the Martin Correctional Institution serving a life sentence for sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12. His cellmate was 29-year-old Ricky Silva who was serving life in prison for robbery, carjacking and kidnapping. At some point Bell thought it would be pretty cool idea to jack-off to a photograph of one of Silva’s underage relatives. Silva caught him doing it and was not real happy about it. At around 2:40 a.m Wednesday, a corrections officer was conducting his hourly cell checks when he found Bell dead on the bottom bunk with a black shoestring wrapped tightly around his neck.
