Mobile, AL – Deputies were called to a residence that serves as a breeding facility for miniature horses last Saturday after a woman reported one of the female horses had been sexually assaulted. While investigating the alleged buggering, deputies discovered strands of hair tied around a fence post, leading them to believe someone had tried to tie the horse up with her own tail to keep her from bolting. A physical examination of the critter revealed blood and other obvious signs of sexual assault. On the ground near the horse, the owner found a wallet containing a driver’s license and Social Security card belonging to one 27-year-old Eric Easley. He was questioned on Sunday, and on Tuesday, was charged with cruelty to animals and killing or disabling livestock. The latter charge will more than likely be dropped because the horse didn’t die. Easley has already been released on $4,000 bond. …
Continue ReadingMobile, AL – Steve Giardini used to have a title attached to his name – it was Mobile County Assistant District Attorney. Giardini specialized in the prosecution of sex crimes against children. That title was trashed the second an FBI agent knocked on his door in April of ’09, search warrant in hand. Giardini resigned less than 24 hours later. According to authorities, Giardini is accused of soliciting a 15-year-old girl over the internet to have sex. And as we all know, a good percentage of the 15-year-old girls out there in internet chat rooms aren’t actually teens or girls. Yep, Giardini reportedly got stung. After an extensive and thorough investigation, Giardini was arrested early Tuesday morning and was indicted by a grand jury on Friday. Though authorities remain tight-lipped about the contents seized during the raid on Giardini’s home last year, it was obviously enough to justify his arrest. He’s been charged with one count of acting with the intent to entice a child under the age of age 16 for intercourse, sodomy or other sexual purposes, one count of acting with the intent to criminally solicit the production of child pornography and one count of acting with the intent to entice a child for sexual purposes – all felonies.…

Four children, ages 3-13, who were also inside the car with their mother at the time were not physically harmed. It is believed Berry had been stalking his ex-wife and after Berry’s repeated arrests and restraining orders against him, nothing seemed to keep him away from his ex-wife. Source from Local15TV.com.…

Mobile, AL – It’s not that hard to figure out, people. You’re going to Wal-Mart, perhaps to buy all the pseudoephedrine the pharmacy will sell you. It’s ninety degrees outside. Do you: A.) take the kids with you to use as a diversion, B.) Take the kids with you and tell them to sit on the bench and stay put; or C.) leave them in the car in the parking lot in direct sunlight with the windows down a bit?   If you guessed “C”, then you are probably Shavon Riva Higgins or Ruby Marie Bonds. ‘Cause that’s what they did on Saturday. …
