ST. MARTINS, Missouri – Here we go, another little girl has vanished while walking home. Maybe this will end differently than the Somer Thompson disappearance. At 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten was walking the quarter mile home from a friend’s house in the 600 block of Route D south of St. Martins. She never arrived at her home. The Cole County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory. Olten is a white, 9-year-old female. She is 5′ 2″ and 108 lbs. with brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion with physical marks. She was last seen wearing a pink scarf, pink shirt and pink sweater and blue jeans with white sneakers. She was also carrying a cell phone. The sheriff’s department contacted the cell phone provider, AT&T, who “pinged” the cell phone to triangulate its location. Orange Park, Florida – On Monday afternoon, Somer Thompson, 7, was walking home from Grove Park Elementary with a group of kids that included her twin brother and 10-year-old sister. After getting into an argument with some of the group, she began running home. She has not been seen since. An Amber Alert has since been issued. Thompson is white, 3 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 65 pounds. She has brown hair that was in a pony tail and was wearing a cranberry colored jumpsuit with pink stripes and a black T-shirt underneath. Her backpack is black with pink and white skulls and crossbones. “This is an all-out search,” Sgt. Dan Mahla, of the Clay County Sheriff’s Department said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon. “We are going to keep trying and trying and trying. Charlottesville, Virginia – Police need the public’s help in trying to find missing Virginia Tech student, Morgan Dana Harrington. She was last seen SaturdaySaturday reviews night after being separated from friends at the Metallica concert at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville. Harrington went outside before Metallica took the stage for reasons unknown. “Everyone assumed she’d be coming back,” said Amanda Melvin, a friend of Harrington’s. But she didn’t. Harrington’s purse and cellphone were found outside the stadium and her car was still in the parking lot. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with “Pantera” written on the front in tan letters, a black mini skirt, black tights and knee-high black boots (RAWR!). She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 120 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Omaha, Nebraska “Somewhere in middle AmericaAmerica reviews” says Adam Duritz from the Counting Crows. Billed as the Nation’s third best city to live, work, and play, I’m guessing the neighbors in one residential area are questioning that statement now as the police infiltrated their block, cordoned off a house, and began interviewing them as to what they saw and when. There’s one thing about neighbors in a nice “single family dwelling” neighborhood not far from from the Elementary school, they tend to notice stuff like unkempt yards, no trash pick-up, wild parties, flies covering the inside windows of their friend’s home, a smell of rotting flesh…any one or a variation of those things. UPDATE -Police are questioning 20-year-old Peter Brozowitz. He has become a “person of interest” say authorities investigating the case. He has retained an attorney and was refusing to talk. There has also been a possible sighting of Britannee on a bus.

Brittanee Marie Drexel, 17, of Rochester, NY traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC without her mother’s permission, to stay with some older friends. She has not been heard from since SaturdaySaturday reviews. Her mother, Dawn Drexel, along with friends and family were in Myrtle Beach handing out flyers hoping they can get some more information on her whereabouts. Police say they have filed a missing person’s report, and her information has been entered into National Crime Center computer.

Update 10/28/08 – 3 months after Nancy Cooper’s body was found, her husband, Brad Cooper, has been charged with her murder. More info at bottom of article.

Cary, NC – According to her husband, Brad, Nancy Cooper, 34, left for a jog at around 7 a.m. SaturdaySaturday reviews morning and was supposed to return by 9. She did not take a phone, ID or keys with her when she left. She never returned. Search crews were formed and searched in and around Regency Park, Lochmere Lake, Lake Wheeler and Lake Johnson. They were looking for a woman described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 120 pounds, hazel eyes and brown hair. She was wearing a T-shirt, running shorts and light blue running shoes. She was not located over the weekend. Around 7:30 pm Monday evening, a man walking his dog in an undeveloped area, discovered a body floating in a pond in The Oaks at Meadowridge off Holly Springs Road. This area is still under construction and no one lives in the few houses in that area. It is only a mile from where Nancy lives, so chances are Nancy may have been found.

UPDATE 6/11/08 – Nicole Ganguzza has been found dead.  Her body was located in Blanchard Park, and there are possible similarities to the East Side Rapist serial rapes from 2006 and 2007. Authorities are looking for connections between this case and the previous attacks in the park, but have no suspects at this time.

ORLANDOOrlando reviews, Fla. – Nicole Ganguzza, 26, has not been heard from since Tuesday evening when she went to Blanchard Park to jog. Her husband notified police and a search was launched at 9 p.m. An airboat and bloodhounds were brought in to aid in the search. Her car was found at the park and detectives have collected a running shoe they believe belongs to her. Oh, the park she disappeared in? A serial rapist was targeting white women who jogged there about a year ago.

Bremen, GA – Brittany Carrigg, 17, went for a walk near her home on Wednesday night, and hasn’t been seen since. Brittany, a junior at Haralson County High School, reportedly left her home with her boyfriend between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. Wednesday. Her boyfriend is said to be cooperating with authorities. Florida - Actually, an entire family is missing. Latisha Rutledge, 22, is 8 months pregnant and has two children ages 4 and 2. She had been living with her uncle in Florida for a few months trying to start her life over, but things didn’t work out. Two weeks ago, the uncle dropped her and her children off at a Greyhound bus station so that they could take a two day trip from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to Downtown Detroit. It’s the last time they have been seen.

Reno, Nev – I am late getting this story up because of a dentist appointment. Please, don’t worry about me or attempt to send me flowers and well-wishes, as it wasn’t MY dentist appointment. Anyway, after partying at the Sands Regency Hotel Casino earlier in the night, Brianna Denison, 19, ended up at a friends house to spend the night on their couch. The friend gave Denison a blanket and pillow before going upstairs to bed. When the friend came downstairs later that day, Brianna was missing. There was a blood stain the size of a silver dollar on her pillow. Her purse, shoes and cell phone were still there.

A woman’s body was found in a shallow grave on SaturdaySaturday reviews afternoon. A press conference was give SundaySunday reviews morning declaring that the body found was indeed that of Denise Lee. Holding their infant son, Denise Lee’s husband Nathaniel proclaimed his love for his dead soul mate and thanked the city for it’s support.

Camp Lejeune — Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach 20, was reported missing by her mother on Dec. 19, five days after the two last spoke. She is also 81/2 months pregnant. Her car was found Monday night at a bus station near base and investigators said it hadn’t been there long. Her cell phone was on N.C. Highway 24. Suspicious activity has been flagged in Lauterbach’s bank accounts since her disappearance.
