It has been reported that Shannon may have a growth development problem – a problem that would explain her larger than normal head. Mendota, California - Very little information on this one, but here’s what I got. Alex Christopher Mercado, 4, was reported missing last FridayFriday reviews evening. Alex had been left in the care of an older sibling when he disappeared. About 24 hours after little Alex vanished, his body was found stuffed in the clothes dryer of a neighbor’s home. The body had been placed in the dryer after he was killed. Though police aren’t releasing the cause or manner of death, it is being reported that a 14-year-old boy has been taken into custody and charged with murder. Corona, California–Belinda Magana called police Sunday evening to report that her 2-year-old son, Malachi Magana, had disappeared from Lincoln Park while on a Mother’s Day outing with his family. Officers and volunteers searched for Malachi, by land and by air, all night and into the next morning with no luck. Flint, Michigan–Very little information is being released in the case of 9-year-old Shylea Myza Thomas, but this is what I have discovered. Shylea hadn’t been seen in over six weeks–relatives reported her missing to DHS on Tuesday. On Wednesday, her body was found, surrounded by mothballs and stuffed into a garbage bag, locked up in a storage unit in Michigan. Shylea suffered from quadriplegia because of a ’suffocation issue’ in her crib at 3 weeks of age. [Read more...]

Caylee Marie Anthony ~ August 9, 2005 – June 2008

OrlandoOrlando reviews, FL – WowWow reviews.  Hell of a news day, huh?  First, the DNA is back, and the tiny remains found in a trash bag last Thursday are, in fact, those of Caylee Marie Anthony.   No real surprise, I suppose.  I think we all knew when the body was found that it was hers.  Who else would it be?  No other tiny little girls with longish brown hair were even missing in Florida last week.

To add insult to murder, it now appears that Roy Kronk, the utility worker who found Caylee’s body, tried to notify authorities in August  about the suspicious trash bag in the woods.  Yes, the very same trash bag that turned out to hold the toddler’s remains.  Three times on three different days, Mr. Kronk says, he called authorities.  Yet it was not until the December 11 911 call (when Kronk reported that the bag had opened and a child’s skull had fallen out) that the remains were finally recovered – four months after Kronk made the first call to police.  [Read more...]

UPDATE 12/13/08 – I’ve been told that the hair on the recovered body is a visual match for Caylee’s hair under a microscope.  The bone measurements are also correct for Caylee, so it’s just about certain that these remains are hers.  More details at the bottom of the article.

OrlandoOrlando reviews, FL (December 11, 2008) - The search for 2-year-old Caylee Anthony may be over.  At about 9:30 this morning, a utility worker who was working near the Anthony home walked into a wooded area to relieve himself.  As he walked through the hilly, wet grass, the man stumbled across a trash bag which was held together with duct tape. When the man opened the bag, the skull of a small child rolled onto the ground.  InsideInside reviews the bag was the rest of the child’s body.  Caylee Anthony, 2, has been missing since approximately June 16, but was not reported missing until July 15. Detroit, MI – Two-year-old Tangena Hussain of Hamtramck, Michigan, was last seen at 8:45 on Thursday evening at the Marathon Gas Station in Detroit. Or was she? Her mother’s boyfriend (but not Tangena’s father) Jamrul Hussain, 27, says that Tangena was in the back seat of his car when he stopped at the gas station to buy candy and juice for the child. Lynn, Mass. – Giovanni Gonzalez is five years old.  He’s been missing since Sunday, and now Giovanni’s father, Ernesto Gonzalez, won’t tell police where his son is.  Sound familiar?  On Friday evening, Giovanni’s mother, Daisy Colon, took her son to a scheduled weekend visitation with his father.  But on Sunday, when Colon went to pick up Giovanni, Ernesto Gonzalez wouldn’t answer the door.   When police arrived and entered the home, they found Ernesto, but no Giovanni.   [Read more...]

UPDATE 08/01/08 :  JUSTICE ROSE BROWN HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE.  Joel Brown took his daughter into the Wayne County, NC Sheriff’s Office this morning and turned himself in.  Justice is safe and her father is now in custody.

UPDATE – Reigh Storrow Boss was found safe this afternoon in a rented room in Baltimore, Maryland.  Clark Rockefeller had left “Snooks” in the room and had gone out when he was apprehended.  Sandra Boss is on her way to Baltimore to pick up her daughter, and Clark Rockefeller is in custody.  He will be arraigned on a fugitive warrant from Boston on Monday.
