Man Sets Girlfriend on Fire

Michael Wilson, 33, has been charged with murder after his girlfriend of two months, 33-year-old Nupur Srivastava, died from injuries she received from Wilson pouring gasoline on her and then setting her on fire during an argument.

After being set on fire Srivastava ran through the apartment where portions of her burning clothes burned holes into the carpet. Srivastave suffered from third-degree burns over 80 percent of her body and has been in the hospital since April. She died on SundaySunday reviews the 13th.

Wilson had initially told firefighters that the fire was an accident that happened as he tried to light his grill. Police noted that the rain cover was stillon the grill and found a gas can and lighter on the back porch.
