Jaren Kuester Charged With Beating Three Elderly People To Death With Fireplace Poker

DARLINGTON, WI – Jaren Kuester, a 31-year-old man with a history of mental problems, has been arrested and charged with beating three elderly people to death with a fireplace poker.

According to reports, Kuester was arrested after threatening staff members at a Waukesha County animal shelter. Staff there said Kuester demanded that the dead dog he’d dropped off a few weeks earlier be returned to him alive. He told them they would pay with their lives when they did not oblige.

After making bail, he got in his vehicle and started driving, feeling as if his life was “crashing and burning” around him. After driving three counties away, he felt as if he was being followed, so he abandoned his vehicle, stripped off his clothes, and ran into the woods.

He ended up getting cold and broke into the farmhouse of Gary Thoreson, 70, and Chloe Thoreson, 66, who were not at home. After getting clothes, food, and searching for valuables, Kuester went to sleep on a bedroom floor. Sometime after, 70-year-old Dean Thoreson, Gary’s brother, arrived and entered the home.…

Teen Shot Parents Because They Would Not Let Him Look Up Bible Verse

Columbus, GA – A 15-year-old with severe anger management issues got so angry with his parents for making him do chores instead of looking up a Bible verse, that he shot them both.

The incident happened on Friday, but started the day before when Kristi Lynn and Randal Askevich told their son to stop what he was doing and to complete a household chore.

The teen had been tasked with taking an old bed comforter to Goodwill, but the teen had his own, personal agenda at the top of his to-do list.

He was trying to do the Lord’s work and locate a Bible verse for a girl who had told him she wanted to be “saved.” (I really hope it was this one, as it is one of my favorites)

After much nagging, the teen finally did as he was instructed, but he was pissed. He stewed over it the rest of the day and into the next day while at school. He finally came to the conclusion that his only option was to shoot both of his parents.…

Rony Veus Told Police He Abused Baby Because He Enjoyed Causing Her Pain

APOPKA, FL – Police have charged 23-year-old Rony Veus with the murder of his 1-year-old daughter, saying that he admitted to abusing his daughter because he liked to cause her pain.

Police responding to a home after a 911 call about a girl who wasn’t breathing, found Veus performing CPR on his daughter. He told them he found her not breathing and unconscious.

The infant was rushed to the hospital where she remained in a coma with bleeding on the brain until Saturday when the girl died. Staff told investigators that they suspected the girl had been abused, so investigators interviewed Veus.

During this interview, Veus admitted he has thoughts of harming his daughter and feels relieved when he causes her pain or discomfort. He said he’s acted on these thoughts by pulling her hair, pushing her down, forcing her to eat cinnamon, and burning her with a cigar.

Veus also told police he suffers from depression and schizophrenia and he needs mental help. Veus’ mother said she never thought her son could abuse his daughter, but had suspected something was going on.…

Aaron Schaffhausen Claims He Was Insane When He Slit His Daughter’s Throats

HUDSON, WI – Last week, Aaron Schaffhausen admitted that on July 10, 2012, he slit the throats of his three daughters, 11-year-old Amara, 8-year-old Sophie and 5-year-old Cecilia.

He is currently on trial as his attorneys try to convince a jury that he was insane at the time of the murders and not just a vindictive asshole out to hurt his ex-wife in the worst way possible.

Aaron and Jessica Schaffhausen were divorced in January 2012. Aaron relocated to North Dakota, but on the morning of the murders, Aaron texted Jessica asking if he could see his daughters. Jessica agreed, but told him she wanted him gone before she arrived home from work.

Within two hours of arriving at the home and greeting his daughters, he had slit their throats and placed each of them in their beds. He then called his ex-wife at work and informed her he’d just killed their daughters before walking into a police station covered in blood. The recording of Jessica’s 911 call was played in court.…

Victoria Soliz Says Jesus Christ Told Her To Drown Her Son In Puddle

MESA, AZ – A woman accused of trying to drown her 3-year-old in a puddle says on the day of the incident, she was just following the orders of Jesus Christ.

According to court documents, a man called police to report he was investigating a child screaming when he saw 30-year-old Victoria Soliz on her knees pushing a toddler’s face into a puddle in is front yard. The man told police he told Soliz to stop, but she just moved to a larger puddle and shoved the child’s face in it several more times. She then started giving the toddler what appeared to be CPR.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the Soliz’s 3-year-old shivering from the cold and wearing water-soaked clothing. Soliz was taken into custody while her son was taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment.

While in custody, Soliz was also taken to the hospital where she told doctors she’d been using meth to self-treat her schizophrenia, but that it was ”Jesus” that told her to “drown” her son.…

Debra Denison Killed Her Two Grandchildren Then Killed Herself

NORTH STONINGTON, CT – Police say 47-year-old Debra Denison picked up her grandsons, 6-month-old Ashton Perry and 2-year-old Alton Perry, from day care before shooting them both with a .38-caliber handgun then turning the gun on herself.

An Amber Alert was issued yesterday evening after Debra Denison picked up her grandchildren from their day care, as she had done before, but never made it to her daughter’s home where she was waiting with presents to celebrate Alton’s second birthday.

The day care reported they had been notified that Debra Denison would be picking up the children that day. An Amber Alert was issued, after police gathered enough information to warrant one, that stated that after picking up her grandsons, Denison drove away in a 2002 White Chrysler minivan. State police also stated Denison is bipolar and has a history of medical conditions.

At about 9:30 p.m., police received a 911 call that a vehicle with three injured people inside was found parked near the Lake of Isles golf course. Troopers and local EMS personnel responded to the scene and found Debra Denison and her grandsons inside the vehicle, victims of a double-murder/suicide.…

Kara Vandereyk Busted Having Sex With A Pit Bull In Her Backyard

Las Vegas, NV — Police in Las vegas have arrested 23-year-old Kara Vandereyk after they say she was caught having sex with a pit bull in the yard of her home.

Police say that on Tuesday, they observed Vandereyk engaging in a sex act with a pit bull in the backyard of her home, within full view of her neighbors and anyone passing by. According to the arrest report, when Vandereyk noticed the approaching officers, she said, “Hi,” and began fondling the dog.

The report also said Vandereyk appeared to be on drugs or mentally ill. She told the officers that she has bipolar disorder and didn’t know her name, the year or the name of the president. She also admitted to taking prescription medication but wasn’t sure if she was on them at the time.

After police gave her a blanket to cover up with, as she was completely nude, a neighbor gave her some clothing to wear. Kara Vandereyk was charged with open and gross lewdness, as I’m pretty sure Nevada doesn’t have any laws against having sex with your dog, and taken to the Clark County jail.…

Teens Stop Crazy Man From Grabbing Toddlers At Florida Playground

PORT RICHEY, FL – A mother in Florida is praising a group of teenagers for possibly saving the lives of two children after a man tried grabbing them while they were visiting a local park.

At around dusk Saturday, 28-year-old Sharaya Smith said she’d taken her young daughter and nephew to play at Lake Lisa Park and eat pizza. As they walked through the park’s parking lot, she noticed a group of teenagers playing loud music, kissing and cursing. “We’re trying to have a pizza party,” Smith remembers telling them. “And my kids don’t need to hear your mouths.”

A short while later, while her daughter and nephew played on a slide, she noticed 34-year-old Bienvenido Cintron nearby. He was disheveled, wearing a tan trench coat, and spouting out verses from the Bible he was carrying. Cintron made his way over to Smith, who had already collected the two children, and began yelling at her, stating he was Obama and was sent to rid the world of drug dealers and prostitutes.

According to Smith, Cintron grabbed 3-year-old Dante Moretti-Taylor’s arm and tried to wrench him from Smith’s grasp while calling him a drug dealer. Cintron then grabbed 4-year-old Tatiana Ortega by the hair and one of her arms, calling her a prostitute.…

Man Accused Of Setting Sleeping Homeless Woman On Fire

Van Nuys, CA – Police have accused 24-year-old Dennis Petillo of pouring a flammable liquid on a homeless woman sleeping on a bus bench and then setting her on fire. He has been booked into jail on suspicion of attempted murder.

Witnesses say that at about 1 a.m. Thursday, Petillo walked out of the 24-hour Walgreens near Van Nuys Boulevard and Sherman Way. He then poured a liquid — possibly rubbing alcohol — on a homeless woman as she slept on a nearby bus bench, then set her ablaze with a match.

“It was like when you pour gasoline on something, like an explosion,” said Erickson Ipina, who followed Petillo after he took off running. “I pulled out my cellphone and called 911, and then he just turned back on me and pulled out a knife,” said Ipina.

The victim’s identity has not been officially released, but friends say she is Flo “Violet” Parker, a woman in her 60s and a fixture of the neighborhood. She was listed in critical condition at a local hospital with burns all over her body.…

Canadian Man Set Free Three Years After Stabbing His Two Children To Death

MONTREAL – Far be it for me, a resident of the great United States, to bash any other country’s legal system. But in Canada, a former cardiologist found guilty of stabbing his two children to death has been released after only 46 months of confinement.

In February 2009, Guy Turcotte stabbed 5-year-old Olivier and 3-year-old Anne-Sophie to death as they slept in their beds. One would hope that they did not suffer, but according to the children’s mother, that wasn’t the case. She is a physician and a coroner, so looking over her children’s autopsy reports revealed that her children experienced a long, painful death.

“I knew it was not a short death. You know, my little boy received 20 stabs of a knife, he had seven marks of defense,” said Dr. Isabelle Gaston. “He had no wound that was the one that gave him death,” she added. “My little girl, she had 19 wounds, maybe she was luckier? Because she had one that was more mortal than the other. But she felt 19 shots, that’s for sure,” Gaston said.…

Man Accused Of Using Box Cutter To Carve Pentagram In Son’s Back

RICHLAND HILLS, TX – A father has been accused of using a box cutter to carve a pentagram in his 6-year-old son’s back, telling a 911 operator he did so because it was a holy day.

Police arrested 39-year-old Brent Troy Bartel yesterday after he called 911 and calmly told the dispatcher he had “shed innocent blood.” At the same time, the child’s mother had ran next door to a neighbor’s for help, saying that Bartel was hurting their son.

When police arrived, they found Bartel alone in the home with his son, who was clad in only pajama bottoms and sporting a bloody pentagram that his father had carved into his back with a box cutter. They also found the child’s blood smeared on the sides and the top of the home’s door frame.

“I would say his demeanor was very flat. There were no indications that he was under the influence of any drugs,” Richland Hills police Sgt. Nathan Stringer said about Bartel.

The boy was transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center, where he underwent treatment for the pentagram that covered the majority of his back.…

Pregnant Woman Jumps Off Cliff Because She Was Having Twin Boys

Ireland – A pregnant mother of two boys became so depressed after learning that she was pregnant with twin boys that she threw herself off a cliff.

The last anyone heard from 35-year-old Anna Byrne was on March 7 when she told her husband she was going to the grocery store. ”At the end of the call, I told her to phone anytime if there was anything,” Terry Byrne said. “We told each other that we loved each other and she said ‘I’ll see ya later’”.

He wouldn’t realize his wife was missing until later that day when she did not pick up one of their sons from school. He called the supermarket, friends and maternity wards, but was unable to locate her. Around midnight, a friend would find her car parked near a cliff-top at Howth summit. Inside the car, an undated suicide note was found.

A search and rescue operation was organized, but was called off at 3:30 that morning. Four hours later, a helicopter would spot Byrne’s body at the base of the cliff.…

Cross-Dressing Man Accused Of Dismembering His 74-Year-Old Wife

Oceanside, CA – A 68-year-old cross-dresser is behind bars after police accused him of killing and dismembering his 74-year-old wife inside the couple’s home.

Neighbors say that a foul odor emanating from the home of Frederick Hengl and his wife, Anna Maria Hengl, became so bad that they called police to report it. Police would not find Frederick at home, but they would find Anna’s dismembered body. Frederick was found by police on Friday outside a bar in downtown Oceanside. He was questioned by police and then booked into jail on a first-degree murder charge.

The couple are a strange fixture in their neighborhood, with many who live there reporting odd behavior from the couple. Frederick could regularly be seen walking around the neighborhood dressed in women’s clothing.

“The husband is actually known for dressing up like a woman and walking around the neighborhood. It’s just a permanent fixture, I guess. It doesn’t freak us out anymore,” said resident Jason Chandler. Another neighbor said he had saw the man around the neighborhood wearing a floor-length purple dress and a long pearl necklace with pearl earrings, and carrying a fancy purse.…

Pastor Beaten To Death With Electric Guitar

FOREST HILL, TX – The pastor for Greater Sweethome Missionary Baptist Church was beaten to death with an electric guitar by a man who drove his car into the church and was later found dead in the back of a police car.

At about 11:15 a.m. Monday, 33-year-old Derrick Birdow drove a car into the side of the church before getting out and assaulting Pastor Danny Kirk. According to a secretary who had locked herself inside an office, Kirk and a church custodian had been scuffling with Birdow inside and outside of the church moments before Birdow beat the pastor to death with a guitar.

Police arrived on the scene and had to use a Taser to subdue Birdow. He was found unresponsive in the back of a patrol car and then later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Birdow’s children may have attended the church, according to his cousin, but there was no known conflict between Birdow and Kirk. Birdow’s brother said that his sibling didn’t know the pastor at all and had become increasingly paranoid in the last week, claiming people were trying to kill him and that someone had stuck a needle in his arm.…

Mentally Ill Man Found With Mother’s Dismembered Body In Car

Centennial, CO – Ari Liggett, 24 and mentally ill, was arrested on October 17th after he crashed his vehicle attempting to flee police.  The dismembered body of his 56-year-old mother, Beverly Liggett, was found in the back of his car.

Ari Liggett informed police that he’d recently become aware of the fact that his mother had left him out of her will, and was displeased by the news.  He is being held without bail at Arapahoe County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Ronald Liggett, Ari’s father and Beverly’s ex-husband, told a reporter that his son has a long history of mental illness.  “We’re failing our society in terms of mental health treatment, prevention and resources.  This is a mental-health issue.  Like you’re seeing every day in the papers, it won’t be positively addressed until the society takes it as seriously as the war on drugs or terrorism.”

Two days before the apprehension of Ari Liggett, police entered Beverly’s home based upon suspicions of her boyfriend and ex-husband that something had happened to her.  She was not answering their calls.  Officers found her medication in the home, but her car was missing.  They also found traces of blood in the freezer and bathtub, cutting tools in the dishwasher, and potassium cyanide, the same substance ingested by Michael Marin in his courtroom suicide back in July of this year.  The case immediately became a homicide investigation at that point.…

Man Stabbed His Grandmother 111 Times, Disemboweled Her

Salt Lake City, UT – More details have been released in the case of a mentally ill man who stabbed his 84-year-old grandmother to death earlier this month.

On Oct 3, police were called to the home of Joyce “Honey” Dexter where they found her grandson, 21-year-old Zachary Weston, covered in blood and standing over her dead body while holding a bloody knife. Weston later told investigators that he “stabbed his grandma” and that he “slit her belly, her jugular and her heart.” As overkill as that all sounds, it’s still an understatement.

A medical examiner later determined that Dexter had been stabbed 111 times, nine of those to her heart, and that several of Dexter’s internal organs had been removed. Because of the heinous nature of the crime, Weston was charged with aggravated murder. Since this happened in Utah, that means Weston is looking at a possible death sentence.

Weston’s family says that he’s had long-standing mental issues that have gotten progressively worse, calling his life a “tragedy in slow motion.” Weston was diagnosed with schizophrenia and has told others he was hearing voices. He was staying with his grandmother because she was the only one willing to give him a place to stay.…

Sex Offender Sexually Assaulted Teen One Day After He’s Released From Prison

MODESTO, CA – The day after a registered sex offender was released from prison, he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl on a public bus.

Police say that 37-year-old Kevin Michael Long has spent his life in and out of the system, starting when he was only 12 years old. He has past convictions for assault with intent to commit rape, burglary, drug violations and making terrorizing threats. He just spent over seven years in jail before being paroled on Sept 17.

His family says they were told a month before his parole that he would be sent to a state hospital upon release. But instead of getting treatment, the got a call on the day of his release, instructing them to come pick him up. His family said “eff that.”

This was due, in part, to letters they had received from Long while he was incarcerated in which he admits to being sexually attracted to children, and claiming that he was the Lord.

“I have three teenagers I have a 14-year-old daughter, and 15 and 16-year-old boys. It specifically says in here that those are the kind of people he is interested in,” said one family member who refused to pick Long up upon his release.…

Mom Who Stabbed Sleeping Daughter With Steak Knife Told Police “I Went Crazy”

FITCHBURG, WI – More details have been released regarding the Wisconsin mother who repeatedly stabbed her 6-year-old daughter with  a steak knife while she slept.

Early Monday morning, 30-year-old Tasha Harmon went to her neighbor’s apartment suffering from self-inflicted stab wounds to her neck and chest. She told the neighbors she had just stabbed her 6-year-old daughter before stabbing herself.

When the neighbors entered Harmon’s apartment, they found her daughter covered in blood, lying on her bed. She was suffering from several stab wounds inflicted by her mother, who had used a 7-inch steak knife that was found nearby. The girl was still alive and rushed to the hospital with life-threatening stab wounds to the chest and back as well as a punctured lung. According to reports, the girl told police, “Mommy tried to kill me.”

Harmon was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition before being released on Thursday and placed in jail. She has been charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide. Her daughter was listed in critical condition, but police say she is expected to recover.…

Police Fatally Shoot Woman After She Stabbed Her Grandson To Death

Buffalo, NY — A grandmother was shot to death by police after she stabbed her young grandson to death outside her home.

A scene of unimaginable horror is what two Buffalo police officers encountered when they were flagged down and brought to the front porch of a home. There they found 22-year-old Tiffany Fears performing CPR on her 4-year-old son, Roderick Geiger III, who was bleeding to death after having been stabbed in the stomach and chest by his grandmother.

While the officers began working on the boy they were charged by the child’s 38-year-old-grandmother, Charlene Fears, who was armed with two large knives. She ignored repeated demands to drop the knives and, fearing for their safety, was subsequently shot and killed by one of the officers.

Roderick was rushed to Women and Children’s Hospital, but later died. Charlene’s two other children, who were in the home at the time of the stabbing, were not harmed. The officer who shot Charlene, a 25-year veteran,  is not being named and the case is being investigated by the homicide squad and internal affairs.…

Police Say Mom Sent Videos Of Herself Abusing Baby To Child’s Father

West Haven, CT – A woman has been placed behind bars after making a series of videos of herself abusing her 10-month-old daughter and then sending those videos, along with some messed up text messages, to the child’s father.

Court records show 24-year-old Kellie Park took seven videos of herself abusing her little girl then sending those videos to the child’s father through at least 55 text messages that included such gems as “I’ll f***ing break her face in” and “I’ll beat her face in” along with the timeless classic, “I love abusing this kid.”

The videos were just as disturbing. One shows Park as she kicks a gate on top of her crying child causing her to fall, and then saying “don’t you get it? Your father doesn’t care so guess what, I’m not gonna care.” Another video shows Park throwing food at her crying daughter as she sat in her high chair. In other videos Park can be heard telling her daughter she’s not worth half a cigarette, and that she makes her life miserable.…
