ST PETERS, MISSOURI - Elizabeth Thrasher gets the embarrasing title of first person charged with felony harassment under Missouri’s “Megan’s Law” (not to be confused with the Megan Kanka law requiring law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders). The law was created after the suicide of 13-year-old Megan Meier, a girl who was being bullied over the Internet by other teens and an adult and then committed suicide. RSO John Seitcher Saves Taxpayers A Few Bucks

Castroville, CA - According to the Megan’s Law website, John Seitcher was convicted on charges of lewd and/or lascivious acts with a child under 14, indecent exposure, and continual sexual abuse. Though the length of his prison sentence is unknown, it has been reported that Seitcher was paroled in May.
