Man Accused Of Beating Ex After She Refused To Make Him Kool-Aid

Knoxville, TN — Robert Atkins, 31, is facing a whole slew of charges after allegedly roughing up his ex-girlfriend/baby mamma and taking off with her infant because she refused to make his dumb ass some Kool-Aid.
Atkins apparently showed up at the woman’s house in the early morning hours of December 10. Because a restraining order was in place, the woman pleaded with Atkins’ ride to take him away… she didn’t want him there. Atkins, apparently unfazed by a piece of paper that says where he can and can’t be, refused to leave.
I’m assuming he entered the woman’s home and made himself comfortable. Around 4:30 that morning, he demanded the woman whip him up a batch of Kool-Aid. When she refused, Atkins reportedly attacked, hitting the woman in the face.
The woman tried to escape into the bathroom, but Atkins followed and continued to assault her.
The woman told police Atkins took her keys and cellphone and placed a couch in front of the front door. She said she contemplated sneaking out a bedroom window, but Atkins had their 3-month-old son.…

Knoxville, TN – Police have arrested 49-year-old Bob Robinson and charged him with sexual exploitation of a minor because his girlfriend tattled on him after finding some rather questionable items in the home the two shared. The 37-year-old woman called police on Wednesday to report she had found several pairs of “little girl panties” wrapped up in Bob’s do-rag – panties that did not belong to her. She also told police she found inappropriate and obscene pictures of children on his computer. After his arrest, officers reportedly found a 4GB memory card containing more than 100 images of child sexual exploitation in his possession. Because Robinson claims he no longer has any place to live, he was deemed a flight risk and now sits behind bars on $100,000 bond. Police say the investigation is ongoing.…

Knoxville – At around 4:30 yesterday afternoon a black male opened fire outside of the patient discharge doors of Parkwest Medical Center, killing one female and injuring two others. Rachel Wattenbarger, 40, died from her injuries while Nancy Chancellor, 32, and Ariane Reagan Gueran, 26 were admitted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The shooter also died at the scene, a victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His identity has not been released, but police have stated that he was possibly a former employee. Police put the facility on lockdown and have since stated that there were no other shooters involved. Both surviving women are expected to recover and both of their families have released statements thanking everyone for their concerns. Chattanooga, TN The Palmer School of Chiropractic promotes the alignment of the spine as a means of curing diseases. The problem with people with cancer, diabetes, you name it, is because their spine is “subluxated”. Subluxation means dislocated or misaligned. If you’ve ever known a Palmer School graduate, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. UPDATE 10/01/08 – Valentino Vasquez Miranda, 19, has been charged with first-degree felony murder in connection with the disappearance and death of Jennifer Lee Hampton. Hotel key card records showed that Miranda, a Days Inn employee, used his passkey to enter Jennifer’s room, where he then sexually assaulted and strangled her. Both Miranda and Rogelio Melchor, 38, are illegal immigrants who were arrested on forgery charges earlier in the investigation. Melchor has not been charged, but is considered a person of interest in Jennifer Hampton’s murder. Authorities say more charges for both men may be forthcoming. I’ll update as more details become available.

Knoxville, TN and Florence, AL – Jennifer Lee Hampton was only in town for a business trip. On Friday night, the 21-year-old woman disappeared from the Days Inn in Farragut, Tennessee, a suburb of Knoxville. Hampton was last seen at about 9:00 p.m. Friday closing the door to Room 146.  Now police say they have evidence of foul play. As I write, Jennifer Hampton has not been found.…
