On Tuesday morning, police responded to a home after family members inside called 911 to report an assault.
When police arrived they found 52-year-old Pamela Wolosz dead inside the home, and her 16-year-old daughter seriously injured.
Police say the 12-year-old son and brother of the victims had stabbed them both multiple times with a chef’s knife that he had taken from the kitchen.
Ashland police Chief Tighe O’Meara said the 12-year-old cooperated with police and that the situation was “contained immediately and there was no threat as soon as officers got on scene.”
The boy’s sister was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive. The boy was arrested on allegations of homicide and assault and is currently being held at a juvenile detention facility in Medford.
Although a 12-year-old can be charged as an adult, an attorney with the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office said they haven’t decided what will happen in this case.…
SILVER CREEK, GA – Videos taken by Katelyn Davis, the 12-year-old girl who live-streamed her suicide, are currently being published online and offer a real glimpse into her home life.
All I can say about it is that if I had to live in a household like that at 12, I don’t know if I would have hanged myself, but I surely would have murdered someone.
I have included two videos of Katelyn having an argument with her mother, which you can watch below, and it is like the breakfast scene in Rob Zombie’s Halloween.
During this argument you hear everything Katelyn had complained about in some of her other online videos, and she was not exaggerating.
She and her mother argue about Katelyn constantly having to watch her unruly siblings, about her mother’s drug use and bringing men over, Katelyn’s cutting and even Katelyn expressing her anger over her mother not immediately kicking out her man after an incident in a pool. It’s a goddamn train wreck.
Look, I’m sure no one would like to have a recording of an argument of themselves and their kid put out there, especially if you didn’t know you were being recorded and the person listening didn’t have context.…
According to reports, Ian Sevostjanov was getting ready for school Thursday morning when his mother disciplined him for a “behavioral issue.”
After arguing with his mother, he was sent to his room where he used a gun to fatally shoot himself.
Ian was pronounced dead at the scene despite first responders doing “everything they could” to save him, said Clearwater Police Chief Dan Slaughter during a news conference Thursday morning.
Authorities were initially vague about what transpired in the apartment Ian shared with his parents and brother, but now say the boy’s death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.
Police are still investigating Ian’s death and determining how he got his hands on the family’s gun.
“We’re trying to definitely approach this taking care of all our responsibilities, while also being respectful that there’s an emotional trauma that’s occurred,” said Slaughter.
He went on to add that this should serve as a lesson to gun owners that they need to ensure firearms are not within easy reach of children.…
Initial news reports stated Katelyn’s body was discovered with self-inflicted wounds outside her home at around 6 p.m. on Dec 30, 2016. Despite attempts to save her life, she was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
Turns out, Katelyn used the Live.me application to live-stream her suicide, and the 42-minute video details her hanging herself from a tree. I am including the video below, but be warned, it’s a child committing suicide.
For those of you who don’t want to watch it, the first half of the video is Katelyn positioning the camera, measuring the rope she attaches to a tree and makes adjustments. During this section, the sun is shining and the ambient neighborhood noises of passing cars, birds and barking dogs can be heard in the background.
She then climbs on top of a bucket and fastens the noose around her neck.…
The two boys had been home alone when the 13-year-old called his parents, who in turn called police.
Responding officers found the 12-year-old in a bedroom dead from a gunshot wound. It was first thought that the gunshot had been self-inflicted, but after examining the evidence they felt his death was in fact a homicide.
After multiple interviews throughout the night, the 13-year-old was arrested on first-degree murder charges and placed in the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Detention Center.
Police have not released a motive behind the shooting, or if the boys’ parents will also face charges. The principal of Northwest Middle School, where both boys attended, released the following statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic event that occurred Tuesday night involving two of our students. Our hearts are heavy as we offer our thoughts and prayers to the family during this very difficult time.”
According to state police, Jacob Remaley woke up retrieved his father’s Ruger LCP .380 Auto handgun from the kitchen after his father left for work.
After loading the gun, he went into his mother’s bedroom and, at close range, shot her in the forehead as she slept. He then went into his younger brother’s bedroom and shot him in the head, also at close range.
Afterwards, he tossed the gun in his bed and called 911 to report his father had killed his mother and brother.
“Why didn’t he kill me? I need help,” he told the operator before hanging up. The operator called him back and he told them he didn’t know why his father put the gun in his bed.
When emergency services arrived at his home, Jacob told them that the firearm was still inside. Citing safety concerns, they gave the kid a blanket and moved down the street to wait for police to arrive.…

None of the victim’s injuries were considered life-threatening and are expected to recover. According to the last update, only four victims remained in the hospital; two in critical but stable condition, while two others are in fair condition.

April and Mike Holton returned home Sunday to find a marijuana pipe in their home left over from a party Jesse had at the house.
The couple have had issues with Jesse in the past and decided to teach him a lesson. Bill handcuffed his son, placed him on a couch, and called police.
“Mike greeted the deputy, he said ‘hey look, trying to teach my son a lesson, when you go in, I’ve pretty much handcuffed him and put him on the couch,'” Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin said.
The deputy collected the evidence and the couple walked with him back to his car leaving their son inside the home. Twenty minutes later, Jesse went to a neighbor to say his parents were fighting.
The neighbor called police who arrived at the home to find both Mike and April suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.…
The incident happened on Sunday when Hockenberry broke into a neighbor’s home and stabbed Bobbi Jo Sinoracki in the back as she was vacuuming the living room.
When David Sinoracki heard his wife’s screams for help, he ran to her aid only to have Hockenberry stab him multiple times in the chest. The couple’s 17-year-old daughter tried to intervene and was also stabbed in the chest.
The couple’s 14-year-old daughter ran to a neighbor for help while their 11-year-old son and his friend locked themselves inside a bedroom. By this time, Hockenberr’s father had arrived at the home and restrained his son. He was still restraining his son when police arrived.
All three stabbing victims were taken to the hospital. Despite attempts to save him, David would die from his injuries. Bobbi Jo was being treated for multiple stab wounds to her back while their eldest daughter was treated and released.…
Hunter Reeser got into an argument with his grandmother, 60-year-old Sandra Orton, because he did not want to go to an unspecified school meeting.
So Reeser grabbed a .22-caliber rifle and shot his grandma in the head as she sat in a car outside of her home.
The teen then called his grandfather to tell him he had found his grandmother wounded in the car, but would later admit to 911 that he was the one who shot her.
“We brought the suspect in for questioning, subsequently he confessed to the crime. He was charged with one count of general homicide, one count of aggravated assault, and one count of a firearms violation,” said Lieutenant Kline.
Since the kid is in Pennsylvania, he will be charged as an adult under the Fisher Bill. His future defense attorney can try to move the charges to juvenile court at a later date, but Erie County prosecutors say they plan to oppose that.…
Police were called to a home just before midnight Monday where they found Joseph Emmett Naulty dead inside the home.
The victim’s son, Joseph Ezekiel Naulty, told police he was in another room when he heard his father yell. When he ran to the room to investigate, he found his father dead from a hatchet blow.
Police would arrest the victim’s grandson, identified as Raistlin Martin, and charge him with first-degree murder. He is being held in the Cumberland County Regional Juvenile Detention Center. Cumberland County District Attorney Billy West said he will seek to have the teen charged as an adult.
Police have not released any details on a motive, and neighbors didn’t know the family well as the three males just moved into the house two months ago. Before moving into the home, the elder Naulty is from Alabama and moved in with his son and grandson after the death of his wife in February.…

Neighbors called 911 after the witnessed the older teen carrying his injured sister and 4-year-old brother out of the house looking for help.
When police arrived on the scene, the suspect ran from the home covered in blood and was apprehend after a short foot pursuit.

Police say that on Tuesday morning, the couple were working in King’s Beauty when they caught the 13-year-old girl and a friend shoplifting items from the store.
The couple, both in their 70s, opened the store 20 years ago and often forgave shoplifters. In this case, the couple retrieved the stolen items from the girls and kicked them out of the store without calling police.
However, the girls came back and this time were able to get away with some merchandise. The couple called police and the two girls were located in an adjacent lot. One girl was taken into custody for an outstanding juvenile warrant, but the 13-year-old was let go with a warning after the couple refused to press charges.
“The shop stewards that were there were kind enough to not press charges, since the crime was, in their eyes, petty,” said Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Chief Jeremy Ihler.…
Police said that on Tuesday morning they received reports of a disturbance at a home where a woman found her daughter, Ashley Wood, dead inside her bedroom.
A neighbor said she called 911 after she heard the mother screaming. When police arrived, they found Ashley dead from what appeared to be blunt force trauma to the head.
The suspect, reportedly the girl’s 14-year-old brother or step-brother, was at the home when police arrived but fled the scene on foot.
Police would find him 30 minutes later in a field a mile away. The teen, whose name has not been released because of his age, was taken into custody and placed in the Placer County Probation Juvenile Detention Facility.
No charges have been filed as I type this up, but in California, a 14-year-old can be charged as an adult in murder cases.
The relationship between the suspect and victim has not been officially reported, but some news outlets describe him as Ashley’s brother or adopted brother.…
According to Providence Detective Sgt. Michael Wheeler, the girl was assaulted on June 2 after the two boys lured her into a third-floor boy’s bathroom.

The two boys turned themselves in on Monday and were arraigned in Family Court on charges of first-degree sexual assault. Both boys were suspended from school and are currently in custody at the Rhode Island Training School.
“This was very unusual, especially to this extent,” said Wheeler. “I think the school did a good job getting on it.”

“The Providence Public School District takes any allegation of sexual abuse and misconduct very seriously,” said spokeswoman Laura Hart.…
Perez was reported missing on May 27 after skipping school with her 15-year-old boyfriend. She was last seen on surveillance video with her boyfriend as they met at a restaurant near the school and then walking away holding hands.
After the girl was reported missing, the boyfriend’s father drove his son around searching for the girl. At some point during their search, the boy told his father to take him home because Perez was dead.
The teen’s dad called police, who arrived and confiscated two cell phones from the teen. Police say they found a text in which the boy told Perez to skip school on Friday or he would kill her.
Police also found a disturbing video from inside the apartment where Perez’ body would later be found. The video was dark, but you could hear Perez being raped and then begging for her life as her boyfriend, who she called out by name, strangled her to death.…

Principal Melissa Layner is the one who reported the incident after reviewing the footage the following morning and after the female student admitted to her that she’d had sex with multiple males in the bathroom.
Layner sent a message to parents on Friday explaining that she cannot speak about student discipline with the media or parents of other students, but that student discipline was “dealt quickly.”
“The incident this week should not be a reflection on our combined efforts, administration, students, and teachers, to keep our building and students secure and safe,” Layner wrote.…
