Chicago, IL – Cook County prosecutors say Scandale Fritz, 16, Kenneth Brown, 15, and Justin Applewhite, 16, raped a 12-year-old girl at gunpoint, then posted a video of the sexual assault on their Facebook pages.
It happened in December of last year when the victim went to Fritz’s home to talk to him. Once inside, the girl said that Brown and Applewhite were also there and that Brown had a gun in his pocket.
Fritz took the girl into the basement were he raped and sodomized her. He then ordered her to have sex with the other two teens. She refused, but later complied because she was scared Brown would kill her.
The girl “knew that all three defendants were gang members of the Black Disciples faction ‘Tay-Town’ and was fearful that [Brown] would shoot her,” Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Bridget O’Brien said.
Tt’s quite common for teens to videotape their illegal activities so they can then share them online, and these teens were no exception. This particular video shows Brown waving a gun in the air while the girl performs a sex act, and all three shouting gang slogans, prosecutors said.…

Valley Springs, CA – Police arrested 12-year-old Isaiah Fowler on Saturday and will be charging him with the death of his 8-year-old sister, Leila Fowler, who was murdered last month.
On April 27, the Isaiah and Leila were home alone when Leila was stabbed more than twenty times inside their home. The brother told police he saw a man with long grey hair leaving their home and found his sister suffering from multiple stab wounds. A neighbor also told police they’d also seen the man running from the scene.
Police began an intensive search for the suspect while residents were told he was considered armed and dangerous and instructed to lock their doors as deputies searched the area. Authorities searched the home and neighborhood, while dive teams searched two reservoirs near the house.
Aside from possible fingerprints and DNA found in the home, and a possible link to an abduction attempt in a nearby town, police didn’t seem to be getting any closer to finding the person responsible. But in a statement issued Saturday, Sheriff Gary Kuntz informed the public they could sleep safely as they’d found the person responsible – Isaiah Fowler.…

BALTIMORE, MD – Back in March 2012 we reported on the two kids, ages 12 and 13, who accidentally shot and killed their friend, 13-year-old Monae Turnage. They were arrested after they tried to hide the girl’s body under some trash in an alley. On Monday, the younger boy’s mother, 49-year-old Veronica Alford, pleaded guilty to helping the boys move the girl’s body.
For those of you who do not remember, Monae Turnage was inside a home playing with two the boys when someone brought out a AK-47 .22 caliber rifle. Reportedly, Alford’s 13-year-old son accidentally discharged the rifle and Monae was killed by a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The two boys panicked and dragged Monae, with the help of Alford, out of the house and into a nearby alley where they hid her body under some bags of trash. When she never arrived home, Monae’s family called police and began searching the neighborhood. Monae’s brother would eventually see her leg sticking out from some trash in the alley directly behind the house she had been visiting.…

Palatine, IL – Three teenage girls have been arrested and charged in connection with the assault of a 12-year-old boy with a ketchup bottle during a home invasion and robbery.
Last Wednesday night, a teenage girl went to the door of the boy’s apartment and claimed to be a friend of his sister. When the boy told the girl his sister was not home, the girl left.
The same girl returned 10 minutes later accompanied by three other teenage girls and asked to use the bathroom. The boy let them in the apartment and after he turned his back, one of the girls hit him in the back an empty glass ketchup bottle.
According to police, two of the girls then went into the kitchen and bedrooms, stealing $50, jewelry and two cell phones before leaving the apartment. Police were called after the boy’s sister returned home to find her brother injured.
He was taken to the hospital with multiple, non-life-threatening cuts, police said. The boy’s sister was able to identify the girls as former friends.…

ST. JOSEPH, MO - A 16-year-old Central High School student was charged in juvenile court with third degree assault, after taking a piss in a coffee pot used by school faculty.
The incident happened in March, when some teachers who drank the coffee reported that the coffee tasted funny.
“A report was made that it tasted like chemical or cleaner – I’m not sure what the word was,” said St. Joseph Superintendent of Schools Dr. Melody Smith. “There seemed like this personal coffee pot in a storage room, that the coffee tasted strange.”
An internal investigation was launched that included reviewing footage, frame by frame, from a hidden surveillance camera in the faculty room. Three weeks later, school staff were finally able to find the 16-year-old student responsible for tainting the coffee, and exactly what they’d tainted it with.
After notifying police, the teen was arrested and charged with third degree assault. If he’s convicted in juvenile court, he’s facing anywhere from probation, to being removed from his home and placed in a residential facility.…

Georgetown Township, MI – Police in Michigan have arrested an 11-year-old boy after they say he abducted a 6-year-old boy last week.
The 6-year-old was playing in his front yard last Wednesday afternoon when the older boy lured him out of his yard, grabbed him the neck and jacket, then forcefully led him down the street and across some railroad tracks.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Lt. Mark Bennett did not give much details about what the 11-year-old did or said to lure the boy out of his yard aside from stating that it was “rather intricate for an 11-year-old to come up with.”
When the stepmother of the younger boy noticed her son was no longer playing in the yard, she went out and began searching for him. Lucky for her, a school bus driver had noticed the two boys walking down the street and felt something wasn’t right. CLIFTON HEIGHTS, PA – Police arrested 45-year-old Michele Davenport after they say she enticed her 12-year-old daughter to fight another 12-year-old girl in a school parking lot, an incident that was caught on video.
No reports on how police originally got involved, but they released video taken at Primos Elementary School that showed Davenport encouraging her 12-year-old daughter to fight another girl they allege is her daughter’s bully.
The girls do not seem eager to fight, but after Davenport’s insistent yelling – including Davenport telling the other girl she wants to see her daughter kick her ass and informing her she would jump in if any bystanders intervened – the girls finally start swinging in that funny way girls do when they fight.
As the girls are going at it, Davenport can be heard telling her daughter to “hit her in the face!” and ”get her on the ground!” At one point they stop fighting and the victim offers a handshake to Davenport’s daughter, but Davenport eggs them on and the girls continue fighting.
“You can see [in the video] that the kids really don’t want to fight, but the mother is so adamant and profane that eventually the 12-year-olds get in a fight,” Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said in a news conference.…

Oklahoma City, OK – An 11-year-old boy and his mother have been arrested after police say the boy raped his 6-year-old sister and his mother failed to report it.
Police went to the victim’s home after a state Department of Human Services worker told them the girl had been sexually assaulted by her brother and her cousin. The girl told the DHS worker that she was in her bedroom doing homework when her brother and a 7-year-old cousin asked her to pull her pants off. The girl said after her pants were off, both of the boys “put their things in her and it hurt,”‘ the police report states.
When the girl told her mother, Maria Marquez, she’d been raped by the two boys, Marquez told her not to tell anyone. Armona, CA – A 13-year-old girl at Parkview Middle School was arrested on Wednesday after she stabbed another student over a bag of stolen chips, authorities said.
The girl told police that she was just “goofing around” when she stabbed a boy in the back with a pocket knife, and did not mean to hurt him as bad as she did. She said she and the victim were in the playground of the school when the boy stole her bag of potato chips.
She says she jokingly told the boy she was going to poke him with the pocketknife, then ran up behind him and stabbed him once in the back. “She said it infuriated her,” Assistant Sheriff Dave Putnam. “But she also said that she didn’t intend to cause the damage she did. She just meant to poke him with it.”
The girl told police that the pocket knife, which had a blade well over three inches long, wasn’t hers, she was just holding it for a friend. Colville, WA – Two fifth graders in Washington have been arrested, accused of plotting the death of a fellow classmate because she was rude and annoying.
Their plan was discovered on February 7th after a student at Fort Colville Elementary School told a teacher he had seen one of the accused with a knife. When the teacher searched the backpacks belonging to the boy and his 10-year-old friend, they found a knife with a three-and-a-quarter inch blade, a .45 calibre Remington 1911 semiautomatic handgun and an ammunition clip.
When the boys were later questioned separately by police, they both confessed to planning on luring a female classmate outside of the school to kill her, and confessed to having six other students on their hit list who’d they planned on killing by also luring away from the school one at a time.
The 11-year-old admitted he just wanted the girl dead because she was rude and picked on him. He planned to kill the girl with the knife while his younger friend used a gun he’d stolen from his other brother to keep people from stopping him. The 10-year-old told authorities he’d been in “a short dating relationship” with the girl, but that “she’s rude and always made fun of me and my friends,” court papers said.…

ALBUQUERQUE - A 15-year-old boy has confessed to shooting his parents and three young siblings to death inside their home because he was upset with his mother.
According to the police report, 15-year-old Nehemiah Griego walked into his parents’ bedroom shortly after midnight on Saturday and retrieved a .22 caliber rifle from the closet. His father was not home at the time but his mother, 40-year-old Sara Griego, was sleeping alongside Nehemiah’s 9-year-old brother, Zephania.
Nehemiah took aim and shot his mother in the head as she was sleeping. His brother woke up and did not believe Nehemiah had killed their mother, so Nehemiah told police he lifted her head to show his brother her bloody face. When his brother began crying, Nehemiah shot him in the head as well.

Rocklin, CA – Two teenage girls have been accused of drugging one of the girl’s parents so that they could get online.
Police say that last week, a 15-year-old girl had a 16-year-old friend spend the night at her home. The younger teen’s parents did not allow her to use the Internet after 10:00 p.m. so the teens hatched a completely asinine plan to get around the restriction.
The girls ended up giving the parents milkshakes from a fast-food restaurant that they had spiked with crushed up sleeping pills. The parents were only able to drink about of the quarter of the milkshakes, saying they tasted funny and were grainy
But the shakes must have been loaded because shortly after, the parents were sawing logs. They woke up at 1 a.m. the next morning feeling like they had hangovers. They went back to sleep and woke up the next morning still feeling like re-fried dogshit. Durham, NC – Here’s Dreamin’ Demon’s very first article for 2013, and it’s out of North Carolina where police have accused two teens and a 12-year-old girl with carjacking a man then shooting him to death.
The 12-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old Justino Maya asked Johnny Villatoro for a ride shortly before 7 p.m. Friday night. The father of three, who is originally from Honduras, did not know them but gave them a ride anyway.
Villatoro drove the trio to the 2900 block of Firth Street, where they then carjacked and shot him. He was rushed to the hospital after being found lying in the street, but would later die.
Police located the 12-year-old girl and Villatoro’s SUV near an apartment building. The young girl had somehow managed to accidentally shoot herself in the abdomen and leg while inside Villatoro’s vehicle. She was treated at the hospital then placed in a Durham County juvenile facility.
Maya was arrested Friday night and charged with murder. He was placed in the Durham County jail without bond.…

KEARNS, UT - An 11-year-old boy will face charges after he brought a .22 caliber handgun to school and threatened to kill a classmate.
The unidentified sixth-grader at West Kearns Elementary reportedly pulled the gun from his backpack during morning recess. He showed the gun off to classmates, telling them his parents had encouraged him to bring the gun in light of the Sandy Hook shootings.
When a fellow student threatened to tell on him, the boy allegedly aimed the gun at her head then threatened to kill her if she didn’t keep yer trap shut.
“He pulled out a gun and he put it to my head — me and my friend — (and) said he was going to kill us,” Isabelle Rios said. “I told him I was going to tell, but he said, ‘If you tell, I’m going to kill you.’”
So Isabelle kept her mouth shut until around 3:00 that afternoon when she finally told a teacher. That teacher immediately took the boy into physical custody and retrieved the unloaded gun, along with some ammo, from the boy’s back pack. Warsaw, Ind. – An appeals court threw out Paul Gingerich’s 2010 guilty plea on Tuesday, overturning the 14-year-old’s 25-year prison sentence and granting him a new trial.
It’s been two years since I first reported on Paul Gingerich. When he was only 12-years-old, he helped 15-year-old Cody Lundy murder Lundy’s stepfather before trying to run away to Arizona. They would both be charged as adults and Gingerich would be sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to the lesser charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
He would also become one of the youngest people in Indiana to be sentenced to prison as an adult.
But that may all change after the Indiana Court of Appeals reversed Gingerich’s 2010 conviction and ordered he get a new trial. They agreed with Monica Foster, the public defender who handled the appeal, that the court in Kosciusko County did not give the boy’s attorneys enough time to make the case that he should have been tried as a juvenile.
“The Constitution won today,” Foster said. “This is a 12-year-old kid who did not get the due-process protection of the U.S.…

Portland, OR – An 11-year-old boy has been accused of trying to carjack and rob a woman at gunpoint, and even returned to the scene of the crime as a news reporter was interviewing the victim.
On Saturday, 22-year-old Amy Garrett was sitting inside her truck in the parking lot of Freedom Foursquare Church waiting for her parents. That’s when she was approached by two boys, ages 11 and 7. The older boy told Garret that he had a gun and would shoot her if she did not give him her truck.
Garrett didn’t believe the boys at first, and refused to let them have her vehicle. That’s when the 7-year-old instructed the older boy to show her the gun. The 11-year-old then lifted his shirt and showed Garrett a handgun. Thinking it was fake, she asked the boy if it was real.

Salinas, CA – Police have charged a 12-year-old boy with cruelty to animals after he hanged a dog by its collar because he wanted to see the dog die.
Last Friday, police revived a 911 call from someone who hung up before explaining why they were calling. All they could make out was a female saying “he’s hurting the dog” before hanging up.
When police arrived at the apartment, they learned that the caller was a 19-year-old girl whose little brother had been trying to hurt one of their dogs. he began beating her while she was on the phone with 911, so she hung up and left the apartment with one of their other dogs.
The apartment was locked and the boy was not answering he door, so police used a pass key to gain entry. Once inside, police found a dead 12-pound terrier-mix hanging from its collar on the boy’s bedroom doorknob. The 12-year-old eventually emerged from his room and immediately admitted to police that he was the one responsible, telling them,“I was mad at the dog so I killed it.”
Police say he showed no remorse for killing the dog, adding that there didn’t seem to be any motive aside from the boy being angry at the dog and wanting to see the dog die.…

Pittsburgh, PA – Last week we reported on the juvenile who sucker punched a Kansas City Metro bus driver (he was eventually caught and charged with assault) and now we have a similar incident out of Pittsburgh, where a 15-year-old was arrested after surveillance cameras captured him sucker punching a teacher in a downtown alley.
Jim Addlespurger is a 50-year-old English teacher at Creating and Performing Arts School. Last Thursday, in the middle of the day, he was walking down an alley when he passed by six teens coming from the opposite direction. As the surveillance video below shows, one of the teens steps in Addlespurger’s path and then sucker punches him in the face.
No one was in the other’s way, and no words had been exchanged before the cowardly assault. “It appears to be a random act but this juvenile has a track record, already has, for example, a probation officer,” said Joanna Doven, spokeswoman for Mayor Luke Ravenstahl.

Two brothers have been arrested, and 14 high school students suspended, after a 17-year-old boy was sexually assaulted at a teen drinking party.
According to reports, a party was being held at a home on Sept 8. in which 60 to 80 teenagers and young adults attended. Lakeland, FL — Police have charged 14-year-old Cassidy Goodson with first-degree murder after she gave birth to a full-term baby boy and then proceeded to choke him to death.
Three days after deputies had been called to Lakeland Regional Medical Center on a report of Cassidy being treated for a miscarriage, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from the girl’s mother after she made a gruesome discovery in her daughter’s room.
Teresa Goodson had been collecting dirty laundry when she smelled something bad coming from Cassidy’s room. Upon investigating, she found a shoebox with a dead baby inside. Homicide detectives arrived at the home and interviewed Cassidy, who showed little emotion while explaining why she a dead baby in her room rotting in a shoebox.
The ninth- grader at Kathleen High School told them that she had been hiding her pregnancy for months, and on the morning of Sept. 19, she went into labor in the bathroom. After using a pair of scissors to try and pry the baby out, she finally gave birth to a 9.5-pound, 20.4-inch baby boy.…
