John A. Patterson Was Watching

West Pittston, PA - Last Thursday night, John A. Patterson was just hanging out at home, watching a little computer porn, when his doorbell rang.  He left the video running in his bedroom to go answer the door, and pulled it open to find law enforcement standing there with a search warrant.  Patterson, 48, had one thing to say:  “I’m fucked.  My life is over.”   The porn video playing on his bedroom computer as police walked in?  Was of children.

And it wasn’t the only kiddie porn in the apartment.  By the time investigators were finished searching, John Patterson had earned himself a staggering 279 counts of sexual abuse of children for possession of child pornography.  Two hundred and seventy-nine counts.  [Read more...]
