WINTER PARK, Fla. — Police have announced they have a suspect in custody in connection to the execution style murders of two teenagers whose bodies were found burning alongside a popular walking trail.
Last month, some bicyclist riding along the Cady Way Trail found the burning bodies of 16-year-old Nicholas Presha and 18-year-old Jeremy Stewart, best friends who both attended Winter Park High School.
It is now being revealed that police have a suspect and have had him in custody since two days after the boys were found. His name is Jessie Davis and it may come as a shock, judging by his picture, but the 30-year-old is an alleged drug dealer with a lengthy criminal history. He also lives one mile from where the murders occurred.
Davis was arrested on April 17 on charges of violation of probation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery.
