Raleigh, North Carolina 911 dispatchers go through rigorous training to handle all kinds of situations, from the most ridiculous to the most serious. Lately on the Dreamin’ Demon, the forums have had a plethora of arrests for people abusing the emergency system, calling because their fast food restaurant has quit serving breakfast at a certain time. And while those calls are absurd in nature, I’m sure the dispatcher on duty the day Leslie Smith called, would rank that one as one of the most bizarre of her career.
