Man Critically Burned After Wife Uses Gasoline For Hot Oil Massage

Austin, TX - A man is in a medically-induced coma in a hospital burn unit after his wife allegedly used a ruse of giving him a “hot oil massage” to douse him in gasoline and light him up. Police identified multiple ways that they believe she attempted to keep him from getting aid.
On Tuesday night, police responded to a disturbance call at the apartment that Shriya Biman Patel, 25, shared with her husband. Police say they found a naked man lying on the floor screaming in pain with severe burns over 70% of his body. Patel was also in the apartment when they arrived.
According to the victim, he had undressed and gotten into the bathtub under the guise of a promise by his wife to give him a hot oil massage. Investigators found candles placed around the bathroom presumably to create a romantic ambiance. The victim said, then – when he entered the tub – Patel poured what the man believed to be oil on him. He told investigators the next thing he knew, he was on fire.…

Wangaratta, Australia – Two years ago, Kerry Anne McNiven, 44, got drunk at a party and passed out. Gary Stewart, who was reported to have been a friend of McNiven for 10 years, took unfortunate advantage of the situation and touched her breasts ‘inappropriately.’ According to testimony, this act was witnessed by McNiven’s partner and three other people. WAYNE COUNTY, Indiana — I was just about to write up the lame story regarding EquuSearch suing Casey Anthony when I noticed a much more interesting story in a sidebar. A woman in Indiana has been charged with murder after admitting to burning her father alive.
Court records show 30-year-old Nina Holbrook intentionally set her 50-year-old father on fire and admitted to doing it. She told investigators that she called Carl Holbrook to her bedroom where she splashed a cup of camper fuel into his face, then shoved a lit candle into his chest. After setting her father on fire, she climbed out her bedroom window, crossed a field and began walking down the road.
A person who was to meet Carl at the house found him with most of his clothes burned off and suffering burns to most of his body. He would be taken to the hospital, but would later die from his injuries. Carl was able to tell people that it was his daughter who set him on fire, but it really wasn’t necessary.…

DECATUR, IL — Police have arrested a 27-year-old man after police say he purposefully splashed gasoline on a houseguest and then set him on fire.
Phillip L. Green is now facing heinous battery charges after the incident left a 52-year-old man with second- and third-degree burns to 30 percent of his body, including his face, nose, mouth, both arms and left side.
There are three different stories as to what happened that Thursday evening at Green’s home, but everyone agrees that it started with Green and the victim arguing and Green kicking the man out of his house. The man left, but took a red gas can along with him. What happened next depends on who you ask.
Two witnesses told police that Green followed the man outside and threw gasoline on him before pulling out a lighter and setting him on fire.

BRANDON – Robert Brewer died a horrific death the other day. On May 3rd, the 26-year-old had met up with Brendan Terry, 20; Kasey Ackerman, 20; and 18-year-old David Link II outside Brandon Town Center where they decided to go back to their apartment to do some drugs. According to a witness, Brewer took some Xanax and passed out on Ackerman’s bed. That’s when Ackerman allegedly stabbed Brewer in the chest and neck. He then ordered him to strip naked and get into a bathtub where Ackerman then beat Brewer and stabbed hm in the neck again. Brewer was then wrapped in plastic, placed in a duffel bag. Using a dolly, the three men and the witness transported Brewer to the Florida Orthopaedic Institute a block away and placed him inside a dumpster. The witness and Link were instructed to go purchase gasoline at a nearby gas station which Ackerman used to poor on Brewer. Ackerman then set him on fire. The witness told deputies that the victim could be heard screaming from the dumpster as the fire was set.…

FREDONIA, N.Y. - On Saturday afternoon, 20 people had gathered at a party in a house directly across from State University of New York. At some point, 20-year-old Joshua Benton decided to create one of those retarded ass flaming drink concoctions and two teens tasted a bit of hell because of it. Sgt. Phil Maslak of the Fredonia Police Department said, “He was apparently filling a beer can full of the liquor and lighting it on fire and added some more of the Devil’s vodka to it, and it actually went from the can to the bottle, caught the bottle on fire and he shook it, so to speak, and it actually caught the couch on fire and two victims on the couch.” The victims were 18-year-old Patrick Bettcher, who suffered minor burns, and 18-year-old Taylor Meckley, who suffered second and third degree burns over almost half of her body. NORTH STONINGTON, Connecticut - Police found the body of a young woman on the side of the road after a 911 call regarding a brush fire. Firefighters found a blaze about 10 ft off Jeremy Hill road and discovered human remains so badly damaged they could not tell the gender. The victim was later described as a female being either Asian or white, between 19 to 25 years of age with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said she is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 100 pounds and has a tongue piercing. Lt. J.
