TUALATIN, Oregon - On June 24, Tualatin police received an anonymous tip stating that a woman, Olivia Bunn, 20, had recently enlisted the help of three men to rough up her ex-boyfriend, the father of her 2-month-old son. Michael Asberry, 20; Jeffrey Dahlke, 20; and Sampson Johnson, 21, were supposed to break into his home and give him a good, old-fashioned beat down, along with another female. Authorities did not give specifics on Olivia’s motive, aside from it being revenge for something. DETROIT — Vincent Smothers, 27, has confessed to the killing of a police officer’s wife. Rose Cobb, 47, wife of Sgt. David Cobb, was shot multiple times while she sat inside the couples minivan outside of a CVS on Dec 27th of last year. David Cobb had been inside the store at the time. Smothers has now said that the murder of Cobb had been a hit, and David Cobb was the one who paid him to do it.

UPDATE 9/4/08 – Ralph Nickel was in court today and was sentenced to twenty-five years in prison for soliciting the murder of a young teenage girl he had molested.  Morbid and I were fortunate to have had contact with the investigators on this case, and we are very pleased to report that they made sure the victim stayed safe and that Ralph Nickel will not be out for quite some time.   In other news, Nickel’s girlfriend Felicia gave birth to his child recently.  Congrats to you, Felicia, and sorry your babydaddy is such a hosebag. – imp
