Richard Dobeski Wins Lifetime Pedophile Award

LaPorte, IN - In 1964, Richard Dobeski was a 16-year-old who already had a frightening track record. He’d been accused of molesting neighborhood kids. he’d tied one girl to a tree. His mother had broken down and had Richard institutionalized for nearly a year.

In 1964, Richard Dobeski murdered his next-door neighbors Shaun Elizabeth Johnston, 6, and her three-year-old brother Cary Robert Johnston. Cary was stabbed and beaten, Shaun was strangled. Dobeski’s mother found the just-cold bodies of the little kids in the crawl space of the family home a few hours after they’d gone missing. Both children were found with ligatures around their necks.
