Jersey City, NJ – A man in New Jersey has been accused of raping a teen after tricking her into thinking she was getting a job at Victoria’s Secret and having her sign a sex contract.
Police say 33-year-old Gregory John Schaffer saw an ad in Craigslist posted by a 15-year-old girl looking for a summer job. He contacted her and told her that he owned several Victoria’s Secret stores and wanted to conduct an interview.
After he received a photo of the teen, he arranged for her to meet him at his office inside a building he shared with a bail bondsman and a disbarred lawyer. The girl arrived with a friend but was interviewed by Schaffer behind a closed door. Afterwards he informed her that she got the job and to return alone the next day prepared to work.
She arrived the next day and Schaffer handed her some papers to sign, explaining they were an employment contract and confidentiality agreement. After she signed them both without reading, Schaffer explained that what she had really signed was a sex contract.…Continue Reading
