CLAYTON COUNTY, Georgia – Marcia Killebrew told reporters that her 16-year-old son was called out of the classroom by his substitute math teacher, Randolph Forde. Her son says that Forde asked if he was gay. This angered her son, and the next day he and Forde got into a verbal argument. Some time later, the Mundy’s Mill high school teacher told a student that he had a hit on someone and needed him to take care of it. When the student asked who it was, “the teacher held a piece of paper up with the victim’s name on it,” said Otis Willis III of the Clayton County Police Department. Killebrew’s son became alarmed and immediately told her. “He says, ‘Ma, you’re not going to believe this but Mr. Forde offered another student money to kill me,’” she said. The student told administrators about Forde’s questioning of his sexuality and the following argument, but nothing was done. It wasn’t until now that Forde was placed on paid administrative leave. Clayton County, Georgia A couple of teachers have found themselves in a bit of hot water.  I guess it’s not such a good idea to post a love letter to your boyfriend’s FacebookFacebook when he works in the same building as you…along with his girlfriend. But that’s what happened at Rex Mill Middle School. Ebony sent her man a letter, it was intercepted by Chaka, and all hell broke loose in the hallway Monday during school. They yelled, smacks were thrown about, and the 7th and 8th graders in that school got a quick lesson from their family and consumer science teacher on the fine art of expressing one’s self. SAVANNAH, Georgia – 22-year-old Scott Allen Elder and 24-year-old Brian Matison got into a series of escalating arguments over the phone and through text messages all because of a misdialed number. These exchanges led to the pair deciding to meet in an CVS parking lot at 2:30 a.m Tuesday to settle their differences. This meeting of the minds ended with Matison being taken to the hospital in serious condition after Elder shot him. As for Elder, he ended up with a damaged vehicle and a trip to Chatham County jail on a felony aggravated assault charge. Police are calling the incident senseless. “We don’t know what the circumstances are. What we do know is that it was just a mistaken phone call. DeKalb County, GA – Sinead Harrison and her boyfriend, Landis Stewart-Moore are a couple of callous mother-fuckers. They are callous, they are stupid, and they don’t deserve the oxygen they breathe or the space they occupy. Sometime Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning, Sinead squished out a brand spankin’ new baby boy. Concerned about her health after giving birth, Sinead then took herself to the emergency room at DeKalb Medical Center, leaving the newborn with Landis. She eventually told medical personnel that she had given birth to a child and tossed it in a dumpster behind a gas station. Authorities were contacted and officers were dispatched to search for the child. After a thorough search of the dumpster revealed nothing but trash, Sinead was questioned once more.   [Read more...]

GWINNETT COUNTY, Georgia – I was going to come up with a fucked up title for this one, but WSBTV had this one already and well, it just seemed fucked up enough. Police are stating Christina Tetteh, 41, called 911 and told them that she thought her 4-year-old daughter was deceased. When police arrived at the home around 1 a.m., they found the little girl crying in a nearby kudzu patch. According to police, Tetteh took her daughter out to the Kudzu patch and then attempted to suffocate her. Christina Tetteh has been charged with one count of Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder and was transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center where she is being held without bond.Can you imagine that shit? Being that 4-year-old girl? That must have been terrifying as hell. Morro, Georgia – People are rude and common courtesies have gone completely out of the window. It has turned into a fast paced “me me me” world out there. And chivalry is damn near unheard of now as the old timers die off and their mannerisms lost. One of my favorite op-ed pieces opined on the return of gentlemanliness on the wake of 9-11 and that it was perhaps the women that killed it to begin with by having to prove, as a gender, we were strong enough by making complete asses out of ourselves and embarrassing the men who tried to be kind. STONE MOUNTAIN, Georgia. – While in a Stone Mountain Wal-Mart, Sonya Mathews was dealing with her crying 2-year-old. Fellow customer, 61-year-old Roger Stephens doesn’t like crying children much and felt that Sonya was not dealing with situation correctly. He told the mother that if he did not shut the kid up, he would do it himself. When the child would not stop crying, Stephens slapped the kid several times in the face remarking, “See, I told you I would shut her up.” Customers held him at teh scene until police arrived and he has been charged with felony cruelty to children and being held in the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond. Suburbs offer a slower pace than the heart of the city which is a huge draw, coupled with a lower crime rate. A number of young parents opt for a suburban homestead as a better place to raise their children. Children do however, have an uncanny ability to thrive anywhere they’re raised as long as there is a loving hand guiding them and a sense of security. But now things have drastically changed for a little 4 year-old girl who ran for her young life as she witnessed her mother, her sister, and two family friend’s fatal shooting – and was shot as she ran for help. Athens, GA – Back in September of 2001, Phillip Scruggs got all pissed off and stabby with his girlfriend, Elisa Davenport. He kidnapped her, stabbed her a few times, and left her for dead. Elisa had luck on her side and managed to survive the attack. Scruggs was arrested, charged with kidnapping, kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault, and violating the state Family Violence Act. As part of a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery. Scruggs received a slap on the wrist for the violent assault and was sentenced to three years in prison and seven years of probation. While he did his time, Elisa recovered and got on with her life. And, according to her family, she was doing very well without the stabby bastard. I guess the stabbing wasn’t enough to derail the relationship – the couple picked up where they left off when Scruggs was released from prison in 2004. And for the second day in a row, the implements of destruction are an axe, a shovel, and a 2×4. Exactly where is the breaking point between being absolutely pissed off as a hornet and wanting to beat the shit out of someone and actually doing it? I know you can kill someone with a 2×4. I mean, the first hit better be good enough to stun them, and the continued beating should be enough to X their eyes. Shovels can do a lot of damage too. Hell, I got to see first hand at a poker run many years ago. An axe? Yep, one well placed swing should do the trick. Laura Jean Adams must have thought her estranged boyfriend might keep coming back to life, like in really bad horror flicks. Richmond County, GA - Teenagers scare the crap out of me. I have a couple teens myself, and I’m not even ashamed to admit that since I joined the Dreamin’ Demon, I have slept with one eye open on more than one occasion. (Usually after the removal or restriction of certain electronic items and/or extra-curricular activities). You just never really know what’s going on inside their head. Hell, they don’t even know half the time. I’m not sure if it’s psychiatric issues or just pure rage that caused 14-year-old EricEric reviews to shoot his stepsister – maybe a combination of both with a side of drug use? Anything is possible. What we do know is that Eric’s stepsister, a woman he considered his best friend, is dead. Really dead. Eric made sure of that when he fired 10 shots into her head while she slept. Damn. Dalton, GA - The details are sparse, but the 911 call is chilling – one-month-old Piper Hester’s mother, Kristen Hester, can be heard screaming in anguish as she tried to save the life of her baby. Kristen called 911 at 3:28 a.m. SundaySunday reviews after finding her husband passed out on the floor and the child next to him, bloodied and not breathing  – in that call, she could be heard blaming the child’s father, Nathaniel Hester, for injuring the child. “Nathan why the fuck is she bleeding, why do you have her blood on you, You mother-fucker, I’m gonna kill you, you’re going to jail, why are you bleeding, Nathan you killed her.” Later in the call, Kristen could be heard saying, “What are you high on, you’re going to jail, I’m not high on anything.” When emergency crews arrived on the scene, they found that Piper was dead and Nathaniel had fled the scene. Carrollton, Georgia – Last Tuesday, Lashirey Bryant had a family emergency to attend to out of town, so, she put in a call to her regular babysitter, Tammy Truitt, and asked her to come over and take care of the kiddos. Truitt was left in charge of four children, ages ranging from 1-9. Later that day, when the children’s grandmother arrived at the home to relieve the babysitter, she noticed her 1-year-old grandson was lifeless and unresponsive. After an examination at the hospital, it was revealed the little kiddo was drunk off his ass. His BAC was reported to be .33. Whaaaaat? Carrollton, Georgia–On June 15, sheriff’s deputies and paramedics were called out in response to an seriously injured infant. When they arrived at the home, they found the 6-week-old baby girl to be in pretty bad shape. She had a fractured skull and a broken leg. If that wasn’t sickening enough, it was discovered that she had also been molested. 6-fucking-weeks old. What kind of depraved and wretched human would do that to a child? Authorities seem to think it was her own daddy, 27-year-old Casey Todd. Barbara Cox, great-aunt to the child’s mother, had this to say: “I am so disgusted. I wish I could get a hold of him, I would beat the hell out of him.” And I’m sure she’s not the only one. Hell, I think we should hand her a bat and let her have a go at him.
