FULTON COUNTY, GA – Janna Thompson has been indicted on second-degree murder and child cruelty charges after a 3-year-old boy in her daycare accidentally hanged himself while playing on a slide.
On July 9, Thomas Stephens was being watched at Janna’s Daycare, a daycare Thompson ran out of her home. According to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, Thompson took Stephens and two other toddlers outside to play, leaving two infants and another toddler inside her home.
At some point Janna went back inside to discipline another child.
“While the children were playing, one toddler began misbehaving,” court documents stated. “The Provider took this child inside leaving three children unsupervised on the playground. While inside, the Provider used the restroom, received a phone call and made a phone call.”
After an “undetermined amount of time,” Thompson went back outside and found Stephens laying flat on a slide with a piece of twine wrapped around his neck. The boy wasn’t breathing, so Thompson called 911 and attempted CPR. Unfortunately, Stephens would die in his mother’s arms at the hospital the following day.…Continue Reading
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – Police have charged 23-year-old Diamond Mason with the stabbing death of his stepfather during an argument over a puppy.
According to reports, Mason lived with his stepfather and brought a puppy into the home about a week ago.
His stepfather, 51-year-old Joseph Kollie, was not happy with the arrangement and asked Mason several times to get rid of the dog.
Kollie’s requests often ended with the two getting into heated arguments and the dog remaining inside the home.
But around 1.a.m. Wednesday, an argument about the dog turned fatal when Mason grabbed a couple of large knives, reportedly a large dagger and a machete, to stab Kollie to death in his bedroom.
Mason was arrested and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail. He’s being held without bond on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault.
Watch the following video and tell if you get a strange vibe off one of the people that lived in the home. He’s the one telling the reporter he saw Mason holding a machete.…Continue Reading
According to reports, a volunteer with the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society was walking a pit bull named Clara when Clara managed to get off her leash and attack a Westie Terrier. Depending on who is telling the story, Clara was simply pulling on the other dog’s ear or had gotten the smaller dog by the neck.
Regardless, the Westie’s owner, Craig Emory, stepped in and began stabbing Clara repeatedly with a pocket knife in front of dozens of families inside of the store.
“It is the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” said Teresa Reeves, who was was there with her fiance and her 10-year-old daughter. “We heard screaming at the front of the store and went running to see what was happening. The pit bull had the smaller dog at the back of the neck holding the loose skin and fur there,” said Reeves.…Continue Reading
EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GA – A brother and sister did little to discourage negative stereotypes associated with Georgia after they were accused of having sex in a tractor trailer parked outside a church in Effingham County, Georgia.
Timothy Savoy, 25, and his sister Christopher Buckner, 20, were busted early Tuesday morning last week after someone called police to report a prowler. Police responding to the location found the siblings walking together down the highway.
At first Savoy said he was just walking his sister home, but the pair would eventually break down and admit they’d had sex three times in a tractor trailer parked outside the Countryside Baptist Church.
Apparently, their love-making was spurred after watching “The Notebook,” the 2004 film starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as a young couple who fall in love during 1936.
Savoy and Buckner were arrested and charged with incest, aggravated sodomy and prowling. Records show Savoy remains behind bars on $13,400 bond.
Admittedly, I also fucked my sister after we watched “The Notebook,” but we did it in her husband’s minivan while her kids played in the backseat.…Continue Reading
SAVANNAH, GA – Briceson Moore is facing an aggravated animal cruelty charge after he admitted to using a dog toy to beat his girlfriend’s puppy to death.
Police say that last month, Moore beat his girlfriend’s nine-month old fox terrier to death with a “pole type” dog toy. He then took the dead dog to Forsyth Park Animal Hospital, where the vet took note of Moore’s odd behavior.
“Once the dog started to set in with rigor mortis the vet wrote that Briceson started grabbing his legs and making him like he was running while he was dead on a table,” said a SCMPD detective.
Officers say Moore eventually confessed to beating the dog and described how he did it.
“He hit the dog three times on each side, at least three times on each side with its own dog toy; it was a pole type dog toy and he said he didn’t want it to suffer so when it started bleeding from its nose he gave it a hard head shot,” said a detective.…Continue Reading
DOUGLASVILLE, GA – Police have charged 23-year-old Dewey Green with murder after they say he intentionally ran over a pregnant woman.
Police say 53-year-old Janice Pitts was in her Lincoln Navigator with her daughter and grandson when Green repeatedly hit her from behind with his truck while she was sitting at a traffic light.
When Pitts got out to check the damage, Green rammed his truck into her and pinned her body between their two vehicles. Pitts’ daughter, Iesha Davis, says she got out and tried to get Green to back his truck up.
“I’m banging on the window, ‘Please, you’re crushing my mom, you’re crushing my mom. Please, you’re crushing my mom. He wouldn’t look at me, He kept his face straight and kept his foot down on the gas,’” said Davis.
When Green finally backed up, Pitts fell to the road and Green ran over her crushed body as he drove over the median, went across a grassy knoll and ended up sideways across a road where witnesses were able to stop him.…Continue Reading
BUFORD, GA – Recardo Wimbush, a former Georgia Tech football player, has been charged after police say he kept his 13-year-old son in a room for most of the past two years.
Police say an investigation started by an anonymous tip to the Division of Family and Children Services lead to the 33-year-old and his wife, 37-year-old Therian Wimbush, being charged with cruelty to children in the first degree and false imprisonment.
It is being alleged that the couple imprisoned the oldest of their ten children for almost two years in a room with concrete walls and a hardwood floor. The only light came from the small amount of daylight that made it through the one window in the room that had been painted white.
The room had no books or any form of entertainment. In the time he was kept in the room, he was fed at regular times and allowed out to use the bathroom, but was not allowed to attend school or have access to his nine siblings.…Continue Reading
HALL COUNTY, GA – Three daycare workers have been arrested after an 18-month-old suffered severe burns in their care and was denied medical attention.
When Meagan Seabolt picked up her son from the Discovering Basics daycare center, she noticed her son had what appeared to be a rash on his leg. She was informed that he’d been bitten by a bug and was suffering from some kind of reaction.
Seabolt rushed her son to the hospital when the rash got progressively worse, only to learn he was actually suffering from second- and third-degree burns to his stomach and left leg – likely caused by a hot liquid. The boy was transferred to the Augusta Burn Center where he underwent skin grafts and is now recovering at home.
A police investigation showed the boy was likely burned that morning and went eight hours without any kind of medical treatment aside from one of the workers, 55-year-old Eddye Pittmon, rubbing ointment on the burns. Pittman was arrested last Friday and charged with child cruelty.…Continue Reading
CALHOUN, GA – Police have charged Andrew Haynes, Fields Chapman and Damon “Avery” Johnson, all 18-years-old, with aggravated sexual battery after an alleged attack on a girl inside a cabin during a post-prom party earlier this month.
Gilmer County Sheriff Stacy Nicholson said the charges stem from an incident that happened earlier this month inside the bedroom of a cabin at the Coosawattee River Resort. It’s being reported that an 18-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by the three teens during an “out of control” drinking party attended by as many as 27 people. The victim ended up hospitalized for several hours the next day for “substantial” injuries.
Nicholson said the arrests were made after more than 50 interviews — including someone who witnessed the assault, studying forensic evidence, and enlisting the help of sexual assault experts. He went on to say that they were not able to charge the teens with rape because they’d used a foreign object on the victim.
He declined to elaborate when questioned about this, only stating that what happened to the victim was not “true rape” as outlined by the law.…Continue Reading
BARTOW COUNTY, GA – Authorities say 18-year-old Chance Werner drowned while playing a shopping cart game at Lake Allatoona.
A spokesperson for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources says that Werner and some friends were playing a game at Holiday Harbor Marina Saturday night that involved being pushed off a dock while riding inside a shopping cart.
Normally, the cart is tied to a pole so the rider would “pop” out of the cart as it was forcefully pushed off the dock and the person would simply swim back to the dock. But when Werner took his turn, he opted to have the cart tied to his belt loop instead.
Sadly, things didn’t go quite as planned. The weight of the cart ended up pulling the teen 30 feet below the surface of the lake and he was unable to break free. I did a little checking, and it turns out that an average shopping cart weighs around 30 pounds.
Rescue teams wouldn’t recover Werner’s body until three hours later. When found, he was still tied to the cart.…Continue Reading
Columbus, GA — A 29-year-old man was arrested earlier this week after video surveillance captured him pleasuring himself outside an elementary school, four nights in a row, leaving condoms filled with baby batter on the front door each time.
According to police, after scaling a fence surrounding Wesley Heights Elementary, Tarence Wilson would drop trou and commence to burpin’ his worm right there in the courtyard. When finished, he apparently draped his used condoms on the door.
The first condom was found sometime Saturday, leading grossed out school officials to view the surveillance tapes and initiate a stake-out. On Tuesday evening, they caught their man red-handed.
When officers arrived to back up school security that evening, Wilson was found hiding behind a bush, boxers around his ankles.
When questioned as to why the hell he was jerkin’ off on school grounds, Wilson reportedly responded that he felt “uncomfortable” masturbating at home, and dammit, he just wanted someplace he could be left alone. No word on why he feels the need to practice safe sex with himself, though.…Continue Reading
EATONTON, GA — Police are looking for 87-year-old Shirley Dermond after her 88-year-old husband was found decapitated in their home on the shore of Lake Oconee.
Friends of the couple made the gruesome discovery on Tuesday when Russell Dermond’s decapitated body was found in the couple’s garage. Shirley was not located and as of today, she still has not been found.
Authorities do not believe the attack was random and think it happened sometime between Friday and Sunday. There was no evidence of a forced entry or a struggle, and the couple’s cars were still there along with items usually targeted during a robbery.
“Their wallets are there, pocketbook’s there. There is nothing out of place. Everything is immaculate,” Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills said. “This is the cleanest house I’ve ever been in.”
Police are investigating whether the attacker(s) may have arrived by boat since the community is guarded by a gate and security officers. Unfortunately, surveillance cameras in the community were not working at the time.
Investigators have already started searching the lake with sonar devices but haven’t found anything yet.…Continue Reading
Jonesboro, GA — Darrika Driver, 31, was taken into custody earlier this week for allowing her boyfriend, a man convicted for molesting her two daughters, to move back into her home. And if that isn’t shitty enough, police allege that upon his release from prison, the fucker molested Driver’s 14-year-old daughter, AGAIN, and captured the act on his cellphone.
Mays, who was on probation, was not on the property when authorities visited Driver to inquire about his whereabouts. Driver reportedly lied to police, claiming she had no idea where Mays lived. Bullshit was called. When the police returned to the woman’s home, they learned the two had beat feet and disappeared. Fortunately, their freedom was short-lived…. cops caught up with them a few days later and placed both under arrest.
Driver is being held without bond, charged with child cruelty and harboring a sex offender.…Continue Reading
Austell, GA – Police searching for a missing boy found four other boys living with their mother and uncle in a trash-filled home infested with lice, roaches, and a registered sex offender.
And that’s not even the worst of it.
The boys – ages 14, 13, 12 and 8 – all had decayed teeth while the oldest was sporting an untreated foot injury so severe it required surgery. None of the boys attended school and their communication skills were so bad they couldn’t even be interviewed.
One of their neighbors told reporters he wasn’t even aware four boys lived inside the home.
The boys’ parents, 52-year-old Jennifer Ruth Hollis and 53-year-old Tony Darren Elmore, also lived in the home along with their uncle, 37-year-old Robert Lee Hollis. Elmore also happens to be a convicted rapist and registered sex offender.
All three adults were charged with four separate counts of child cruelty and remain in a Cobb County jail on $100,000 bond. The four boys have been placed in state custody.…Continue Reading
MILTON, GA – A man was sentenced to life in prison after shooting his stepson to death during an argument over loud video games.
Back in February of last year, 46-year-old Eric Brandon got into an argument with his stepson, 16-year-old Alexander Koser, over the teen playing his video games too loudly. While Koser was fixing a snack in the kitchen, Brandon grabbed a 12-gauge shotgun.
When Koser turned around, Brandon shot the teen once in the chest. He then racked the shotgun and fired a second shot into the teen’s his chest. He then racked the shotgun again and fired a third shot into his stepson’s body.
Brandon called 911 and reported what he had done and was apprehended without incident. According to the DA, while in the back of the police car, Brandon told police that he hoped the teen was dead. He was eventually charged with two counts of felony murder and with possession of a weapon while committing a felony.
Jurors took less than 30 minutes to convict him of the charges on Wednesday.…Continue Reading
Lithia Springs, GA – Jamie Lynn Bentley, 33, has recently been arrested on a felony charge of cruelty to children. She somehow managed to raise 7 other children, but apparently decided that the 8th didn’t really need that much attention.
The moment Bentley birthed her latest child there were allegations about meth abuse, but she passed the test given to her by the hospital before her release.
DFCS didn’t forget about her though, and after 6 weeks they visited her at home. They noticed the infant was severely underweight, weighing only 6 lbs 3 ounces. The 6 week old (who should have gained weight) had lost 2 pounds since birth. They seemed surprised the child was even alive, and after viewing pictures, Kristi Wilson with the DA’s Office stated “They couldn’t even recognize it was a baby in the pictures.” That was probably due to the fact that he was so starved he was eating his own muscle mass.
The boy was taken straight to the hospital, and mom was given the opportunity to help nurse the child back to health.…Continue Reading
The alleged gluing took place at the Banks County Home Depot the day before Thanksgiving. Illyanna De La Keur, 40, told police she had no idea the seat had been tampered with until it was too late.
In a video recorded by her sister, De La Keur can be heard screaming in pain. She was finally freed with a bit of WD-40, but was missing a good bit of skin and was left with numerous wounds.
“I couldn’t understand why they weren’t just taking me to an emergency room and having a doctor remove it,” De La Keur said.
In her shoes, I would have asked that same question. I also would have knocked the stupid out of my sister for filming that shit. Sure, she would have told me it was for legal purposes, lawsuits and such, but we all know that clip woulda hit YouTube, Facebook and LiveLeak before the paramedics even loaded my sore ass into the ambulance.…Continue Reading
Atlanta, GA – More than a dozen years after 52-year-old Edward Kramer was accused of molesting three teenage boys, he has pleaded guilty to three child molestation charges in a deal that would ensure he remains out of prison.
Kramer is the well-known editor of a slew of famous sci-fi, fantasy and horror works such as Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman: Book of Dreams and James O’Barr’s The Crow. In 1987 he helped create Dragon Con, a yearly convention held in Atlanta, Georgia for fans of science fiction, fantasy, and comic books. The first convention drew around 1400 people, but now attendance can reach up to 52,000.
In 2000, an anonymous tip led to Kramer being charged with sodomizing two brothers aged 13 and 15 at his home, over a period of four years. The charges ultimately filed against Kramer led to one of the most delayed trials in the history of Georgia, helped by Kramer’s alleged health issues and the 370 requests and complaints he filed within six months.
Kramer was initially allowed to remain on house arrest, but this was reversed a week later after the courts learned he’d had a teenage visitor.…Continue Reading
