LAKE GEORGE, NY – Police in New York have charged an 11-year-old girl with the beating death of her foster mother’s 13-week-old puppy after the girl got angry with the woman when she would not give her a ride.
The incident happened on Sunday, not long after the girl was placed in the home for an overnight stay, after the girl’s foster mother refused to give the girl a ride somewhere.
In response to being denied, the girl reportedly beat the woman’s 13-week-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to death by repeatedly slamming it against the floor and a bed post.
The girl was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and criminal mischief. She can either be prosecuted, or placed in some kind of diversion program. So far, the Warren County Family Court has not commented on the case.
Of course, as most everyone who reads this site is aware, an 11-year-old killing a puppy in such a fashion and for the reasons given, is a definite indicator that this girl has some major issues.…
Continue ReadingPueblo, Colorado – Deputies had to Taze a 10-year-old boy after being called to his foster home where he was reportedly destroying property. The boy threatened deputies with a pipe and a stick, and threw a piece of wood at them. Once they had him cornered, he got his ass Tazed. The boy’s foster father supports the deputies’ action. “A two-foot piece of pipe can do a lot of damage, I don’t care who is swinging it. If they go and try and tackle him and try and take it away from him, even if he doesn’t hurt them, they’re probably going to hurt him a lot worse than the tazer did. I think what they did was right. I’m completely behind what they did,” said Daniel Bilby, foster father. The boy was not hurt and was booked into Pueblo Youth Center on suspicion of menacing with a deadly weapon.…

Chief Brandon Clabes, Midwest City Police Department, said “The foster mother accused him of stealing money from her. At that point she took this potato masher, heated it on the stove to where it was red hot & branded him.” But she didn’t do it once, she did it multiple times. Joycelyn Louis told the child to tell anyone who asked about the injuries that it was an accidental burn. The boy suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns and is back in DHS custody. Police are waiting for a warrant for Louis’ arrest. Holy shit, got some video for ya after the jump:…

They stuck around with them for a little bit before alerting security. After some time had passed, staff thought a call to the police was in order. Police and staff began trying to locate the couple they came with. They searched around the hotel, even trying to call the number left when the family checked in, but no one answered. Two hours later 49-year-old Stephen Simmons and 41-year-old Kimberly Simmons, the children’s foster parents, were located at the hotel’s pool with their 6-year-old nephew. Here’s the kicker – Kimberly Simmons is a counselor at a Michigan school and told deputies that this isn’t a one-time occurrence. …

A former state lawmaker was convicted of raping two former foster daughters during physical examinations that he claimed would help them sell their reproductive eggs. Yes, you read that correctly. This fat, disgusting bastard was a part of a program that provides foster care for young people who have no safe home to return to after completing time in juvenile reform programs. He told two of these girls that they could make thousands of dollars for selling their reproductive eggs. The examinations, some performed in a hotel suite, were to determine whether they were healthy enough to donate their eggs. Two of Klaudt's former foster daughters testified that …

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Judith Leekin, 62, had adopted eleven children from New York City’s foster care system between 1993 and 1996. She received as much as $2 million in child welfare payments as she starved, bound and abused them. Florida authorities said they located a 19-year-old man Monday who was among the 11 adopted by Leekin but had left the home two years ago. Police say Leekin was still collecting payments from the New York agency for his care.
“He had similar stories, similar scars and marks on his body from his wrists to his ankles where he alleges he was also handcuffed and tied to other people,” Port St. Lucie Police spokesman Robert Vega said Tuesday.
The case started on July 4 when an 18-year-old woman was found wandering in a grocery store in St. Petersburg. The woman told police Leekin had adopted her 13 years ago and abandoned her at the store that day. Eight other children and handicapped adults, ranging in age from 15 to 27, were found in Leekin’s home.…

If convicted, Joshua Mauldin could receive a prison term of five to 99 years, as well as a fine of up to $10,000.
