Houston, TX–I’ll start off with a little background here: On August 3, 2008, Nicholas Hernandez was driving drunk. He had a BAC of .30 and was driving his Chevy Impala northbound in the southbound lanes of Texas 288. He hit another car, head-on. The passengers in the other car, James Kelleher, 26, and Suzanne Penland, 23, were killed. Hernandez had been out on bond in that case, when he was killed. By a drunk driver.
