PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police say a teenage girl was stabbed more than 80 times before being set on fire by a man she met on Facebook.

The body of 15-year-old Sabriya McLean was found behind an apartment complex in the 200 block of South 49th Street late Tuesday morning after meeting 23-year-old Cole Swaringer-Herring the previous evening.

According to WPVI, McLean traveled to Philadelphia from her home in Delaware on Monday to meet the Herring, whom she had been corresponding with on Facebook. Her parents reported her missing that same day.

Investigators say that when McLean met up with Herring Monday night, things must have went South for the teen very quickly.

Sources say Swaringer-Herring’s parents were both out at the time of the murder, but when they returned home their stabby spawn confessed to them what he’d done.

Herring’s parents notified the police the following morning. No explanation was given as to the delay in contacting authorities, but you have to wonder how well they slept that night with a dead girl out back and Sir Sticks-A-Lot in the next room.…

CHICAGO, IL – A woman has been charged with murder after she allegedly used her SUV to repeatedly ram another woman into a tree before running over her multiple times.

Chynna Stapleton, 24, was charged with first-degree murder following the death of 18-year-old Tatyanna Lewis on Friday night. The two women knew each other and had apparently been having a Facebook argument over a man.

“The victim and her boyfriend was visiting and I guess the other girl, out of jealousy and envy, followed them over here and it escalated over Facebook from my understanding,” said a friend of the victim.

According to witnesses, Stapleton drove her SUV onto the sidewalk and rammed Lewis, who was on foot, into a tree. She then rammed her into the tree a couple more times before running over her body.

“She backed up and hit her again, and then she did it again, and then she just took off, she drove off,” said a witness. “It was very heartbreaking to see that, and then just to see her laying on the ground helpless.”

After hitting Lewis, Stapleton struck several vehicles as she drove away while a young child was in the backseat of her vehicle.…

MEMPHIS, TN – A popular musician is dead after he livestreamed himself pouring kerosene all over his body before setting himself on fire in front of his ex-girlfriend.

The incident happened Saturday morning outside Murphy’s Bar where 33-year-old Jared McLemore began a Facebook Live video that starts with him sitting in a parking lot.

McLemore lifts a red jerry can and completely douses himself with kerosene before a man, realizing what McLemore was about to do, tries to kick a lighter out of McLemore’s hand. He fails, and McLemore is able to ignite himself.

You then see McLemore jump up and run screaming off camera. According to witnesses, McLemore ran towards the bar where his ex-girlfriend, Alyssa Moore, was working as a sound engineer.

According to reports, McLemore had waited until the band playing in the bar had finished their set, knowing Moore would walk away from the soundboard she was operating.

McLemore approached Moore and mumbled a “goodbye” before grabbing her arm and wiping it on his chest to show he was covered in kerosene.…

BANGKOK – A man hanged himself and his 11-month-old daughter live on Facebook after getting into a fight with his wife.

According to police, 20-year-old Wuttisan Wongtalay threatened to kill his wife after he accused her of cheating on him. Jiranuch Trirat said she was scared so she ran from the house, leaving him alone with their daughter, Natalie.

After she left, Wongtalay ended up leaving the house with Natalie and climbed to the top of an abandoned hotel where he started a Facebook livestream.

He then broadcast himself tying a rope to his daughter’s neck and lowers the girl, dressed in a bright pink dress, from the side of the building.

“You can hear the girl crying and finally the crying stops. Then he pulls her up onto the roof top and unties the rope from her neck,” said Lt Col Sanit Nookhong.

Wongtalay does not livestream his own death, but when police arrived on the scene after getting phone calls about the video, they found both Wongtalay and Natalie hanged from the side of the building.…

SHREWSBURY TWP, PA – On the day after Christmas, a woman suffocated her infant son then shot herself in the head after making a Facebook post that her husband would never see their son again.

Police were making a welfare check at a home Monday afternoon after 40-year-old Sheri Shermeyer made a disturbing post on Facebook to her husband.

The entire post can be read below (it is scathing), but in the message she expresses her unhappiness with the way her husband, John, treated her and their son, as well as his drinking.

In the message she flat out tells him he would never see his son again and that he doesn’t deserve a son to carry on his name. She also tells him she hopes he drinks himself to death thinking about all he had lost.

“Hope I don’t see you in Hell,” she tells him near the end of the message. This message, as you can imagine, is what had someone call police to check on her and her son.…

Kenneth AmyxPLANO, TX – Police say 45-year-old Kenneth Amyx stabbed his girlfriend to death before posting pictures of her bloody corpse on her Facebook page.

Friends and family of 43-year-old Jennifer Streit-Spears contacted police after a couple of pictures were posted to her Facebook. One was her bloody corpse, the other of Amyx’s bloody face with a caption that read “Please pray for us.”

“The pictures were not clear although they were extremely scary. I just started to reach out to our mutual friends to see if they’ve anybody knew anything,” said a friend of Spears’.

When police arrived at the couple’s apartment, the found Amyx outside suffering from self-inflicted stab wounds. Inside the apartment they found the body of Spears who, police say, had been stabbed to death.

During their investigation, police would learn that Amyx was wanted in two other counties for separate sexual offenses involving children. In Rockwall County, Amyx was wanted for the continuous sex abuse of a child under the age of 14.

Amyx was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries before being booked into the Collin County jail.…

Ricci BraddenARLINGTON, TX – New details have merged regarding the shooting death of a Good Samaritan at a Texas Walgreens on Monday.

Now that more details have come out, a clearer picture of events has emerged that shows why a Fort Hood soldier has been charged with the shooting death of a Good Samaritan in a Walgreens’ parking lot.

Quinisha Jones said she was surprised to see her husband of two months, 22-year-old Ricci Bradden, show up outside the Walgreens where she worked because he was supposed to be at Fort Hood. Turns out her husband was angry over a selfie she had posted on Facebook and had come to her work to confront her about it.

“He was just saying I was tripping, and I wanted attention from other people and attention from my husband just wasn’t enough,” Johnson said. “And I was trying to explain it to him, that I married you. You’re all the attention that I needed. And I could feel that he was getting mad, so I tried to walk off, and that’s when I heard him pull the gun out.”

Bradden fired two shots at her feet — the second shot hitting her ankle.…

Kari MilbergPRESCOTT, WI – Kari Milberg is facing three counts of homicide after police say the 34-year-old was chatting on Facebook while driving, moments before getting into a crash that killed her daughter and her two nieces.

In December 2013, Milberg was returning home from the Giggle Factory with her two children and two nieces when she lost control of her vehicle and slid into the path of an oncoming truck.

Her 11-year-old daughter, Lydia, was killed on impact. Milberg’s 5-year-old nieces, Laynie Jo Amos and Clara Pavek, would die at area hospitals.

Milberg was ejected from the vehicle and thrown down an embankment. However, she and her 3-year-old son, Easton, would survive along with the driver of the truck and his two passengers.

During their investigation, police would recover two cellphones inside the totaled vehicle. Milberg’s undamaged iPhone wasn’t found until almost four months later after the snow had melted, and would be one of the factors leading to her now facing criminal charges.

Wisconsin State Patrol determined bad tires and driver inattention to be a large contributing factors in the collision.…

FacebookORANGEBURG, SC – Police in South Carolina have taken a 14-year-old girl into custody after video of a toddler performing a sex act on her was posted to Facebook.

On Thursday, several law enforcement agencies began receiving numerous phone calls regarding the video that popped up on Facebook.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says they were provided officers with information they needed to identify and locate the teen. When interviewed,  the teen admitted she was the girl in the video.

She told police she did not remember making the video as she was “drunk after coming home from a party,” and had sent the video to an ex-boyfriend. No word on who was responsible for posting the video online.

The unidentified teen was arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor. She is currently being held at the Department of Juvenile Justice. Two other children that were in the home have been taken into custody by the Department of Social Services.

“This is a devastating case where an innocent child is being abused and taken advantage of by someone whom the child should have been able to trust,” Ravenell said.…

Rachel HayesSEMINOLE, FL – Police have arrested 27-year-old Rachel Hayes after they said she slapped her grandmother several times for refusing to accept her Facebook friend request.

On Thursday, Hayes got into an argument with her 72-year-old grandmother because she had refused Hayes’ Facebook friend request.

The elderly woman told Hayes that she would accept her friend request if she changed the name she was using – ‘Rachel Frickin Hayes’ – as she felt it was inappropriate.

Hayes didn’t like this and left her grandmother’s home, only to return drunk at 3:40 in the morning. When her grandmother answered the door, Hayes allegedly smacked her grandmother across the face several times before the woman was able to get inside and lock the door.

By time police got to the home, Hayes had already left. She was picked up later and charged with felony aggravated battery on an elderly person.

Records show this isn’t the frist time Hayes has been in trouble with the law.  The mother of one has three previous arrests, including one for drunk driving and another for public urination.…

Alexis BreedenSPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA – A teen mom in Virginia is facing child abuse charges after a picture of her 14-month-old son hanging from a hook was posted on Facebook.

The picture shows the son of 18-year-old Alexis Breeden suspended in the air from a door frame, hanging by his t-shirt that had been attached to a plant hook. The shirt is tight around his neck and the boy is obviously not to happy about the situation.

Some people were so disturbed by the picture that they shared it on the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page hoping that they would investigate. They did, and ended up identifying Breeden, who turned herself in after a felony warrant was issued for her arrest. She’s currently facing a felony child abuse charge.

Breeden recently pleaded guilty to an assault and battery charge against a family member and was ordered by a judge to complete anger management courses and undergo a mental health evaluation.

As you can imagine, a lot of people have chimed in to criticize Breeden, and she later posted a response to those people that read:

“The cops came to my house twice last night and saw that he was fine.…

Jesus BlowobEVERETT, PA – A 14-year-old boy is facing two years in jail after he simulated oral sex from a Jesus statue that, honestly, looked like it was made for something exactly like this.

The teen got himself in trouble after simulating the sex act with a statue that belongs to the Christian organization, Love in the Name of Christ. A friend of his snapped the photo in late July and then posted it on Facebook where it quickly went viral.

On Tuesday, police arrested the kid and charged him with, get this, desecrating a venerated object — a rarely used 1972 law. If he’s convicted, he could be looking at two years in juvenile jail. In case you are wondering, like I was, Pennsylvania law defines “desecration” as:

“Defacing, damaging, polluting or otherwise, physically mistreating in a way that the actor knows will outrage the sensibilities of persons likely to observe or discover the action.”

In other words, the teen hasn’t been been charged with damaging anything, he’s been charged for possibly offending a religious person by putting his crotch in the face of a Jesus statue.…

Oscar Otero AguilarMEXICO CITY – Oscar Otero Aguilar died over the weekend after accidentally shooting himself in the head while posing with a gun for a Facebook picture.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, the 21-year-old was drinking with two friends when he put a gun to his head to take a picture for his Facebook account. His friends say that Aguilar accidentally pulled the trigger, shooting himself once in the head.

Police in the area arrived on the scene and found that Aguilar had a bullet wound to the forehead and was still alive. He wasn’t alive for long, as he was pronounced dead once paramedics got to the home — ensuring a Darwin Award nomination.

His body will be handed over to the family once an autopsy has been completed. I’m guessing officials want to make sure the friends’ story of Aguilar shooting himself jives with the forensic evidence, especially since one of his friends, 21-year-old Omar Campos Abner Vives, was arrested; while “El Paco” fled the scene.

This makes the second person we’ve reported on this year to die while posing for a selfie.…

Marissa WilliamsFOSTERS, AL – Police say 19-year-old Marissa Williams asked a boy she met on Facebook to kill her aunt and uncle, not realizing the boy was actually her aunt who’d created the profile to spy on her.

According to court records, Williams’ aunt created the fake profile after Williams blocked her on Facebook. The teen did not like the fact that her aunt could see her online activities, activities that included asking random men she met to come to her aunt’s house.

To continue keeping tabs on her niece, the woman created a fake Facebook profile – Tre ‘Topdog’ Ellis – so that she could friend her and see what she was up to online. On the very first day that Williams interacted with Ellis, she asked him to come over and get drunk before offering up her poonani in exchange for a paid cell phone bill.

She later told Ellis she hated her family and wanted him to kidnap her. As the conversations continued, this plan got more detailed and included Ellis shooting her aunt and her aunt’s fiance in the bedroom, then shooting her cousin and the family dog on the way out.…

Courtney SandfordHIGH POINT, NC — Investigators say seconds before 32-year-old Courtney Sanford died in a head-on collision with a truck, she was posting on Facebook.

The collision happened Thursday morning on Business 85 when Sanford crossed the center median and hit a large commercial truck driven by 73-year-old John Wallace Thompson. The impact caused the truck to go off the road and hit a tree, while Sanford’s vehicle went off the road and caught fire. Thompson was not injured.

Later that day, investigators were contacted by Sanford’s friends and family who told them Sanford had been posting on Facebook right around the time of the crash. Turns out Sanford’s last post to Facebook was right before the accident and was about liking Pharrell’s hit song “Happy”.

“The Facebook text happened at 8:33 a.m. We got the call on the wreck at 8:34 a.m.,” said Lt. Chris Weisner, with the High Point Police Department. Investigators say the Facebook post read: “The happy song makes me HAPPY.” Her posting activity also revealed Sanford had been posting selfies as she drove down the road.…

Travis SchellingPhoenix, AZ — A 35-year-old man is facing numerous charges after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend over a misunderstanding of how Facebook works.

According to police, Travis Schelling thought other men were sending direct messages to his girlfriend on Facebook anytime one of her friend’s posts popped up on her feed. And every time he read one of those messages, he hit her. In addition to the hitting, police say, Schelling also violently shook the woman by her hair, ripping it out in clumps. It is believed that Schelling also sexually assaulted her.

Police say he held his girlfriend captive from about 11:30 Friday night to 3:00 Saturday morning, threatening to kill her, her family and her friends if she dared alert authorities. The woman finally convinced Schelling that she wasn’t going to tell, and he released her at about noon on Saturday.

Police said the victim had bruising on her face, arms, legs and a cut and swollen lip when she reported the incident.

Schelling has been booked on charges of kidnapping, sexual abuse, aggravated assault, threatening and intimidation.…

Caroline DunnamVALLEY GRANDE, AL – The couple who posted pictures on Facebook of their puppy hanging from the ceiling have been charged with animal cruelty.

Last November, 26-year-old Caroline Dunnam and 23-year-old Andrew Parrish posted a picture of a two-month-old puppy hanging from the ceiling by its neck with the caption: “My poor baby.” As you might expect, people were not too happy with the picture, but Dunnam said she didn’t give a shit what people thought about hanging a puppy by the neck with a rope.

She’s may be regretting it now, especially after the picture went viral and someone tipped off police to the Facebook post. The mixed-breed puppy was removed from the home and the couple have now been charged with animal cruelty.

“They decided that they were going to hang a dog from the ceiling by its neck. The poor dog was hanging from the ceiling with some kind of rope around its neck,” said District Attorney Michael Jackson. “What their motivation was, we don’t know at this point.…

Christopher PhilmonOrange, TX –  Days after 22-year-old Christopher Philmon posted on Facebook that one day he’ll eat human flesh,  he was charged with murdering his uncle and kidnapping his girlfriend.

Last week, Philmon made a post on his Facebook page that stated, “One day I will eat human and finally find out if it really tastes like pork”.  At 12:34 a.m. Monday morning, police received a call from Philmon’s girlfriend who claimed he’d kidnapped and assaulted her.

The woman said she picked Philmon up at near the home he shared with his uncle, 50-year-old Roy James Philmon. She said once in the car, he admitted to murdering his uncle and forced her to drive to Louisiana. She eventually convinced him they should go back to Texas where she dropped him back off at his home.

After getting out of her car there, Philmon got into his uncle’s Cadillac and drove away. When police arrived at the home, they found blood that led from the driveway to the front porch. They found Roy dead in his bedroom, with multiple new holes made by a kitchen knife.…
