Taylor Powers Rescued From Colorado Mountain After Ingesting Mushrooms, Stripping Naked

Boulder, CO – The Smoking Gun is reporting that 21-year-old Taylor Powers had to be rescued from a Colorado mountain after she ingested hallucinogenic mushrooms, stripped off all of her clothes, and began fighting with friends.

On Sunday, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office says they received a 911 call that a female hiker in Chautauqua Park was “high on mushrooms and in distress.” A total of 35 personnel from the BCSO, Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, Boulder Fire Rescue, the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, and an American Medical Rescue ambulance were dispatched to the location.

Rescuers found Powers, a University of Colorado undergrad, nude and being detained by two classmates. Rescuers had to handcuff Powers because she was continuing to struggle, and it took several rescuers to secure her inside a rescue basket.

Nearly two hours after first the first call was made, Powers was brought off the mountain and transported to a Boulder hospital, where she was treated and released. Taylor “Buzzkill” Powers was eventually cited for unlawful consumption of a controlled substance and “further charges are pending against others involved,” deputies reported.…

Ericka Pease Passes Out on Painkillers, Leaves Children Unattended

Town of Maine, NY - Ericka Pease is facing child endangerment charges after being accused of passing out on painkillers and leaving her two young children to fend for themselves.

Police were called to Pease’s trailer after receiving reports of a small child running around the trailer park in the middle of the night. When officers arrived, they found Pease’s 5-year-old son running around the neighborhood with his dogs. They picked him up and took him back to his mother’s trailer.

The front doo to the trailer was wide open, and officers found Pease’s 1-year-old son in a playpen stewing in a dirty diaper. As for Pease, she was found passed out on the living room couch. With the help from responding medics, Pease was finally brought out of her stupor and admitted to taking some painkillers earlier.

Ericka Pease was arrested and transported to the Broome County Jail. She’s been charged with two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Her children were left in the custody of their father, who had showed up to the trailer shortly after police had arrived.…

Tyler Hadley Pleads Insanity After Beating His Parents To Death With A Hammer

Port St. Lucie, FL — Tyler Hadley, the teen accused of beating his parents to death with a hammer then threw a party, has filed a notice declaring he will rely on an insanity plea in his upcoming trial.

For those of you who do not remember this psycho and what he did to his parents, let me refresh your memory. According to Hadley’s best friend, Michael Mandell, the teen had repeatedly talked about killing his parents, 47-year-old Mary Jo Hadley and 54-year-old Blake Hadley, but no one took him seriously until July 16, 2011.

That’s when Hadley sent out Facebook invitations to a party he was throwing at his house. ”Party at my crib tonight … maybe,” he posted on Facebook at 1:15 p.m. July 16, about four hours before the homicides. He updated at 8:15 p.m.: “Party at my house, hmu (“hit me up” or “contact me”).”

During this party, Hadley told his best friend that he’d killed his parents earlier that day. Not believing him, Hadley took Mandell to his parents bedroom where Mandell could see the legs of Hadley’s father sticking out from underneath a pile of household items.…

One Teen Dead, Another In Hospital After Snorting Synthetic Drug Bought Online

FREDERICKSBURG, TX – After snorting some 25c-NBOMe, a synthetic hallucinogenic that can be bought online, 16-year-old Sam Herrera died from cardiac arrest and 17-year-old James Jarreau ended up recouping in the hospital.

According to Fredericksburg Police Lt. Steve Wetz, a teen who lives at the home where the boys ingested the drug told investigators he watched Herrera and Jarreau snort the white powder at around 1:30 a.m Saturday.

An hour later, the two boys were hallucinating, yelling at each other and being destructive. The owner of the home woke up and called 911, but by the time emergency responders arrived, Herrera was unconscious.

“When we got there the Herrera subject was unconscious and the other one was hallucinating strongly,” Wetz said.

Both teens were taken to the hospital where Herrera was pronounced dead from cardiac arrest. Jarreau was in critical condition, but by Monday his condition was upgraded to stable.

Wetz said the boys bought the drug from another student at Fredericksburg High School, who had purchased the drug off the Internet. Some of the drug was recovered at the home and sent to a lab for testing.…

Todd Harrell, Bassist For 3 Doors Down, Charged With Vehicular Homicide

Nashville, TN – Todd Harrell, the bassist for that horrible band responsible for the horrible song “Kryptonite,” has been charged with vehicular homicide after he drunkenly hit a pickup truck with his car, killing the driver.

The incident happened Friday night in Nashville, where police say Harrell was speeding in his car when he clipped a pickup truck driven by Paul Howard Shoulders. The truck was sent careening down an embankment and Shoulders was killed after being ejected from his truck. Harrell suffered minor injuries.

Police said 41-year-old Harrell showed signs of impairment at the scene and admitted he’d consumed hard cider along with some Lortab and Xanax. After being taken to jail, deputies found Harrell was hiding a bag in his sock that contained 8 Xanax pills, 24 oxycodone pills and 4 oxymorphone pills.

Todd Harrell is currently in jail on $100,000 bond on charges of vehicular homicide and bringing controlled substances into the jail.

harrell had gotten into similar trouble last year in D’Iberville, MI, after crashing his black Cadillac into the rear of a pickup truck while intoxicated.…

Samantha Rhinehart Gets 20 Years For Crash That Killed Her Daughter

GAFFNEY, S.C. — Samantha Rhinehart was sentenced to 20 years in prison after the 28-year-old admitted to being under the influence of meth when she caused a wreck that claimed the life of her 8-year-old daughter and injured two others.

Back in January, Rhinehart was driving a 2001 Ford truck with seven passengers, including her 8-year-old daughter, Anna Marie Rhinehart. She was doing around 62 mph in a 45 mph zone when she lost control of the truck and ended up slamming into a tree. Rhinehart’s daughter was thrown from the truck on impact and died from multiple head injuries.

Rhinehart, who was driving with a suspended driver’s license and admitted she’d used meth sometime before the crash, was arrested and charged with felony driving under the influence with a death, and two counts of felony driving under the influence with great bodily injury.

The charges were upgraded to reckless homicide, two counts of first-degree assault and battery, and child endangerment after tests revealed the that meth was in her urine, and not in her blood, meaning she’d taken the drug shortly before getting behind the wheel of a vehicle with seven passengers.…

Couple Arrested After Three Children Found Living In Filth, Covered In Urine, Bugs

Ocala, FL - Jess Palmer, 31, and Stephanie Palmer, 25, were arrested for child neglect after their children were found covered in bug bites and their own waste, living in a home full of trash and rotted food.

Deputies initially responded to the couple’s home after a report of a domestic violence assault, but once inside, they found the couples’ children, ages 1, 2 and 5, living in squalid conditions.

One of the younger children was sleeping in a crib on a soiled mattress with exposed metal springs. Next to the child was rotting sandwich meat. Another child was found in her room, naked with what smelled and looked like urine in her hair and several insects crawling on the child.

Knives were also found within reach of the children, and cocaine residue was located on a bathroom counter.

Aside from the child neglect charges, Stephanie Palmer was also charged with domestic battery, related to the original disturbance call, and is being held without bail. Jess Palmer remained in jail on a $5,000 bond.…

Michael Brewer, Teen Set On Fire In 2009, Arrested On Drug Charges

West Palm Beach, FL - Michael Brewer, the teen we featured back in 2009 after three boys set him on fire, was arrested after being found in the possession of a cornucopia of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Listening to Michael scream in agony after being set on fire by three other boys, ranks as one of the more disturbing 911 calls I have ever listened to.  It happened back in 2009 when Brewer was confronted by 15-year-old Matthew Bent, who was angry over some dispute regarding a marijuana pipe.

Bent allegedly ordered 15-year-old Denver Jarvis to pour a bottle of rubbing alcohol on Brewer, which he did. Immediately afterwards, 15-year-old Jesus Mendez used a lighter to set Brewer on fire. Engulfed in flames, Brewer saved himself by jumping into a nearby swimming pool.

Brewer would spend months in the hospital recovering from his injuries while Matthew Bent and Jesus Mendez would end up sentenced to 11 years in prison. Denver Jarvis would be sentenced to eight years in prison.

On Wednesday, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped Brewer, now 18,  after seeing him making an illegal U-turn at a red light.…

Child’s Birthday Party At Chuck E. Cheese’s Ends In Brawl

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A child’s birthday party at a Florida Chuck E. Cheese’s ended with the arrests of at least three people, including the birthday boy’s mother, after a large brawl broke out and someone got shot.

The fight started after two men in the restroom exchanged words, then escalated into an 18-man brawl inside the dining area of the restaurant in which, according to the store manager, the birthday boy’s grandmother was even trampled.

Employees got the unruly crowd out of the store where some of the men drove to a nearby location to continue their fight, and where one man pulled out a gun and shot the passenger of another car. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the shooter is still at large.

While that was happening, the boy’s mother, Briana Walker, was being arrested in the parking lot with two other men on drug charges and defrauding an innkeeper. Police say they fled the restaurant without paying the almost $300 check.

Police also said Walker’s purse contained part of a Xanax pill and a small amount of marijuana, and that someone on her side of the car had also thrown out packages containing marijuana, Xanax, crack cocaine and morphine.…

Victoria Soliz Says Jesus Christ Told Her To Drown Her Son In Puddle

MESA, AZ – A woman accused of trying to drown her 3-year-old in a puddle says on the day of the incident, she was just following the orders of Jesus Christ.

According to court documents, a man called police to report he was investigating a child screaming when he saw 30-year-old Victoria Soliz on her knees pushing a toddler’s face into a puddle in is front yard. The man told police he told Soliz to stop, but she just moved to a larger puddle and shoved the child’s face in it several more times. She then started giving the toddler what appeared to be CPR.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the Soliz’s 3-year-old shivering from the cold and wearing water-soaked clothing. Soliz was taken into custody while her son was taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment.

While in custody, Soliz was also taken to the hospital where she told doctors she’d been using meth to self-treat her schizophrenia, but that it was ”Jesus” that told her to “drown” her son.…

Rachelle Braaten Arrested After Letting Her Toddler Smoke Pot From Bong

CENTRALIA, WA - Rachelle Braaten, a 24-year-old idiot in Washington, was arrested after video captured her letting her 22-month-old take a hit from a bong.

In the video, you can see Braaten offer the lit bong to the boy who briefly sticks his face on top of the lit bong while other morons in the room start laughing.

When police interviewed Braaten, she reportedly told detectives, “Well, it was like, you can’t see in the camera, but the person taking it, and then there was like a group of people there. And I guess it was a joke and stupid mistake that wasn’t really funny.”

Braaten says she feels “horrible” about the incident. “He’s two and he shouldn’t have known about that,” Braaten said. “He shouldn’t have that in his body.”

Rachelle Braaten was arrested and charged with manufacture of marijuana and delivery of a controlled substance to a minor. She is in jail on a $5000 bail.

The boy’s father was also arrested after police found firearms and 40 marijuana plants inside the couple’s home.…

Christie Harris Had Loaded Revolver In Her Vagina, Meth In Her Ass

Ada OK - After being taken into custody on drug related charges, 28-year-old Christie Harris was  found with a loaded handgun hidden in her vagina, according to police.

Harris was arrested with another woman after cops spotted them inside a vehicle parked outside a closed restaurant at around 3 a.m. Monday. They were in the front of the vehicle and “both seats were laid all the way back.”

Cops searched the vehicle and found meth, drug paraphernalia, a pistol, and a loaded magazine inside. Harris and the other women were both arrested and taken into custody.

While at the lockup, Harris was instructed to change out of her clothes so she could be checked for contraband. Harris refused to lower he underwear, stating “she was on her period and did not want to.” When Harris finally complied, Officer Kathy Unbewust found that Harris was giving birth to a firearm.

“I observed at that time a wooden and metal item sticking out from her vagina area,” reported Officer Unbewust, who added that she “pulled the item from her vagina, and found it to be a 5 shot revolver with rounds in the chamber.”

Axel Charrette, 2, Drowned By Teen Babysitter’s “Drug-Crazed” Boyfriend

Mexico City - Two-year-old Axel Charrette was killed in Sayulita, Mexico while on vacation with his family at a vacation home they were renting, and now his 16-year-old babysitter and her boyfriend have been charged with his murder.

In a statement released to The Watch, Jen and Randy Charrette stated they had hired a 16-year-old girl to help around their vacation home. On February 28, the girl was babysitting their two boys when she let her 17-year-old inside the home.

Realizing that her boyfriend was in a violent, drug-crazed state, she locked herself in a bathroom and left Axel outside the home and his older brother in another part of the house. For reasons unknown at this time, the boyfriend hurt Axel and then tossed him into a pool where he drowned.

They go on to say that the teen and her boyfriend have been arrested and charged with murder in Mexico City. They were also told by a source in the US State Department that the case is ‘Mexico’s number one priority right now.’

The Charrettes concluded the statement with, “There are no words to express our grief – but we wanted you to know what happened because the truth, as horrible as it may be, is important.…

Florida Man Charged After Child Drinks Drano From Sippy Cup In Meth Lab

Florida - Jonathan Wayne Glass is behind bars after his child drank Drano from a sippy cup inside a Florida home meth lab.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened on Feb 20th, when an unsupervised child found a sippy cup in the bathroom of an apartment where meth was being produced. Thinking it contained juice, the child drank the drain cleaner and the reaction was immediate.

Police say that the people inside the apartment waited 30 minutes before trying to get help for the child, who was eventually transported to the hospital for treatment and remains in critical condition.

The reason why the Drano was being stored in a child’s sippy cup inside an apartment where a child resides is because it’s a common component used in the manufacture of meth, and Florida.

Jonathan Wayne Glass  is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail without bond. He’s been charged with one count of cruelty towards a child, abuse that causes great bodily harm or disability, three counts of possession of a harmful drug without a prescription, four counts of drug possession without a prescription, one count of opium or derivative trafficking and one count of possessing or using drug equipment.…

Brothers Win Lottery, Blow Up House While Celebrating With Meth And Weed

WICHITA, KS — One man is in the hospital and his brother in jail, after they blew up a home while celebrating a recent 75,000 lottery win.

In a scene that could have been pulled directly out of a Cheech and Chong movie, two brothers used some of the winnings to buy some meth and weed last Friday night. One of the men was using two large cans of butane lighter fluid in the kitchen to refill butane torches the siblings planned on using with their bongs.

“He emptied a couple of big cans of butane lighter fluid during this, leaking butane into the air,” said Sgt. Bruce Watts. “The butane vapor cloud reach a pilot light in the furnace and as you might expect – kaboom.”

All the news reports keep saying “blew up home” but I haven’t seen any pictures of it, or any reports of specific damages – I used “blow up house” simply because it makes for a good headline.

Police did say there were children in the home at the time of the explosion, but they were not injured.…

Mom Arrested For Passing Drugs To Jailed Son With Open Mouth Kiss

Yates County, NY – A 54-year-old woman was jailed after being accused of smuggling drugs to her incarcerated son by way of an open mouth kiss.

According to the documents provided by the fine folks over at The Smoking Gun, the doting dipshit passed a couple of Oxy pills to her spawn during a jailhouse visit Tuesday.

Deputies have not indicated whether there was any tongue involved in the alleged transfer.

The spawn, 30-year-old William Partridge, was being detained at the facility on weapons charges, and is now facing an additional charge of promoting prison contraband. He will be arraigned on the new charges Monday.

Police say the drugs were intended for Partridge’s personal use, not for resale.

Mom, Kimberly Margeson, was charged with a felony drug count and one misdemeanor count of promoting prison contraband.

After posting $2,000 bail, Margeson was released. She has since pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Now, if you’ll pardon me, I must find a pointy stick so I can dig that nasty visual out of my brain space.…

Mom Pleads Guilty To Pimping Out 6-Year-Old Daughter To Homeless Men

Jacksonville, FL — Last year we reported on 35-year-old Dalina Nicholas, the woman accused of repeatedly pimping her six-year-old daughter out to homeless men in exchange for cash and crack. The other day she pleaded guilty to four counts of child neglect.

For those of you who missed the original story, police were flagged down by a homeless man who reported witnessing Nicholas’ daughter being sexually assaulted while he was in her home doing drugs. He said that over a two year period, he had witnessed the girl being sexually abused by other men, including a time when Nicholas accepted $20 from a man and then instructed her daughter to get naked so the man could perform oral sex on her.

He finally decided to do something about it after the girl confided to him what was happening to her and asked him to help her make it stop. The investigation that followed would lead to the arrest of Nicholas, who had fled to Georgia, and four men. Quinn Brooks, 57, and Ryan Harrover, were charged with sexual battery and lewd or lascivious molestation while John Hagans, 48, and Norman Thompson, 52, were charged with sexual battery.…

Legless Crack Whore Beat Elderly Man To Death With Crowbar

CHATTANOOGA, TN – A woman with no legs has admitted to beating her 73-year-old boyfriend to death with a crowbar.

According to police, James Masingill pleaded for his life as his girlfriend, 48-year-old Laura Morgan, used a crowbar to bludgeon him to death from her wheelchair. Afterwards, she took $200 from his wallet and went out to buy some crack.

When she returned home a couple hours later, she called 911 and told the dispatcher what she had done. Responding police would find Morgan in her wheelchair on the front porch of the home, and would locate Masingill’s body in the living room.

Morgan has been charged with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. According to court records, Morgan has prior convictions for prostitution and drug possession.

Morgan and Masingill have been dating for 17 years and neighbors say that the victim was just trying to help Morgan turn her life around. Morgan’s family say that she was simply acting in self-defense.

“She told me they had been arguing and he came after her with a crowbar and swung at her and hit her in the hand with it and she was able to push him down and grab the crowbar, and that she hit him in the head and killed him,” Morgan’s niece, Carisa Holewinski says.…

On Sunday, the sister of 19-year-old Daniel Delfin called authorities to report him missing. While police where investigating the suspected heroin dealer’s whereabouts, they received a tip that three men, Jeffrey Allen, 21, Anthony Baumgartner, 23, and Stephen Harkness, 22, had murdered Delfin.

The men were picked up by police and brought in for questioning. After a little while, all three of the former Marines began talking and told police what had happened to the missing teen, and why. The trio admitted they had murdered Delfin because the teen was a drug dealer and they were trying to rid the world of evil.

“They were going to rid the world, perhaps one person at a time, of the evil in it,” said Tom Scheben, a spokesman for the Boone County Sheriff’s office. According to Scheben, the men had been planning to kidnap and kill a drug dealer then continue to move up the chain in a DEATH WISH fashion.…
