Mocksville, NC – Busy, busy! Got a busy day today but here are a few stories making the rounds this morning. Starting with this poor guy who was turned into a chew toy by his neighbor’s three boxers. According to their owner, Ralph Kimery, the dogs have never shown any signs of aggression before including other times David Potts has been by his home. But on Sunday evening, the dogs thought Potts looked mighty tasty. After encircling him they latched on to his legs and arms biting of chunks. They did not stop attacking until Kimery called them off. “I couldn’t have lasted much longer, and it seems like the dogs had no intentions at all of stopping. So I don’t know if they would have,” Potts said. “I was fighting for my life and they would have killed me.” He would require 30 stitches on his arms and legs. The dogs were taken to the animal shelter, where they were under quarantine. Kimery has owned the dogs for three years, and states that if they are determined to be viscous, he’ll have no choice but to have them put down.

IRON RIDGE, Wis. – Taylor Becker,4, was with her parents visiting family friends when she was attacked by a 5-year-old Boxer named Rocky. She had been playing in the backyard of the home alone with the dog that was tied to a pole on a leash and chain. No one knows what happened to trigger Rocky, but investigators believe the dog slipped out of its leash and then attacked the girl. A neighbor saw the attack from the roadway and ran to the family’s front door, telling them to call 911. CPR was performed on Becker for nine minutes and emergency personnel worked on her for an hour, but Becker would die from blood loss. “She was bitten mutiple times. She did receive help fairly quickly, but these were non-survivable injuries. They were very severe injuries,” Dodge County Medical Examiner P.J. Schoebel said. No criminal charges are expected to be filed, and Rocky has been quarantined at the Dodge County Humane Society. The girl had been at the home before, and the couple who own Rocky have three children of their own so I wonder what the hell happened? They say that a chained dog is more likely to be more aggressive than one that isn’t, but this dog had no history of violence whatsoever. Regardless, sucks for both families. SPRINGFIELD, LA – Three teens are facing animal cruelty charges after a dog was found severely beaten and bloody in the road. Witnesses would help identify the kids responsible. Police say that a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl lured the adult dog off of a porch and into a yard so that a 15-year-old boy could beat it in he head with a baseball bat. The two teens who lured the dog were charged with principal to aggravated cruelty to animals and released to the custody of their parents. The 15-year-old who used the bat has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and placed in the Florida Parish Detention Center. There was also a 7-year-old boy involved, but because of their age no charges will be filed against him. The dog was treated at a veterinary clinic and is expected to survive. I’ve stated this before in similar stories, but when we were kids we got into a good amount of trouble – but none of it involved beating kids and animals or sticking things in the asses of passed out people.

SEMINOLE, Fla. - Since I don’t want people thinking I am out to get pit bulls or something, here is a story involving Mickey – a 6-year-old 95-pound male Rottweiler-German shepherd mix. The other day Mickey went batshit insane for a currently unknown reason. Richard Blackey is currently in serious condition suffering from bites to his arms, chest and neck after his pet dog turned on him. Melissa Howell, Blackey’s girlfriend, stated that Blackey had returned to their bedroom with a plate of food when she heard him yelling and the dog growling. Next thing you know, the dog was eating Blackey. She said that even as Blacey was crawling out of the bedroom, Mickey continued his assault. She tried to intervene, but the dog bit her as well. She was finally able to trap the dog in a bedroom and call police. The dog was taken by Pinellas County Animal Services. Howell told officers that Blackey has had Mickey since he was a puppy and that Mickey had bitten Blackey a few years back. [Read more...]

New York – Just fuckin’ with ya’ – it was a pair of pit bulls. Hey look, if some other dogs maul some people and make the news, I’ll be more than happy to post about it. On Tuesday morning, a pair of pit bulls escaped from their kennels in an unfenced backyard. The owner was not home, but his sister was. She went outside and tried to get the two dogs, a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old, back into their kennel when they began to attack her. A 45-year-old neighbor across the street heard the sister’s screams and went out to help only to have both dogs begin attacking her. It wasn’t until firefighters arrived that the dogs stopped their assault. By this time the sister had suffered puncture wounds to both arms and a large bite wound to her right leg while the neighbor suffered a large facial wound along with puncture wounds to her head and face and large bite wounds to both legs. No charges have been filed against the owner at this time.

BELGRADE, Serbia – Wanna see something that will brighten your Monday? Then go to another site. But if you wanna see a story of unimaginable animal cruelty, read on. A mixed-breed female dog was found Wednesday in a suburb of Belgrade with all four of its paws cut off. She was alive but scared, dehydrated and the stumps were infected. The people who discovered the dog rushed her to a veterinarian who treated the amputations and stated the removals were surgical and done by more than one person possibly a few days ago. The clinic has named the dog Mila, which means “Darling”, and our asking for funds to help with Mila’s care. A person has been arrested in connection with Mila’s injuries, but their name has not been released. “The media don’t report on cases of crimes against animals, the police and the relevant authorities are not interested in that problem. They simply don’t do their job. We live in a society where torture, abuse and killings of animals are tolerated!” said Danica Drobac, president of one of the region’s animal rights organizations. Grand Junction, CO- Investigators are hoping to find the persons responsible behind a horrendous act of animal cruelty that occurred at the Colorado National Monument early Wednesday morning. An adult male German Shepherd was tied to a car and then dragged three miles to its death.“This was an incredible act of cruelty done to a defenseless animal,” said Joan Anzelmo, superintendent of the monument. “It is a sickening, sickening type of crime. We are leaving no stone unturned.” Tracks left in the snow clearly show that the dog was first walked, then ran and then dragged when it could no longer keep up with the vehicle. The dog’s body was finally dumped after it died from the dragging. Anzelmo said the German Shepherd was forced to run on about two inches of snow up one of the steepest hills at the monument. The dog was forced to run around multiple switchbacks and sharp curves and gained more than 1,000 feet in elevation before he finally collapsed and died. [Read more...]

Knoxville, Tennessee – What’s up with all the animal cruelty stories lately? I swear to God I am not looking for them – it just seems as if all the local news outlets have a story about some jackass doing something stupid to an animal. In this case the jackass is 45-year-old Jimmy Lovell (nickname “Dog”) and what he did with a small, brown terrier. In front of a crowd of people yelling for him to stop, Lovell dragged the small dog behind his vehicle for about a block before finally stopping. He got out, grabbed the dog and placed her in his vehicle before driving off. The dog was later found abandoned on a roadside. The dog, now named Little Brown Dog, will survive but she got her ass kicked by massive road rash injuries. “Basically, (she has) skin wounds, ligament wounds, joint wounds and bone wounds on all four paws, but she also has a large wound over her sternum or over her breast bone that has been created in a similar manner,” Dr. Patricia Sura said. “Some of her bones have been sheared, so to speak, so they’re only half the width of what they once were because they’ve been ground down to that extent.” Lovell was arrested and felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals.

COVINGTON, Kentucky – A boy and a girl, both 12, are charged with taking a neighbor’s pet cat and tossing the animal over a fence into the waiting jaws of another neighbor’s four Chow-mixed dogs. A the cat was torn to shreds, the pair watched. The cat’s owner is pretty upset. “The cat was like a kid to me,” said Ronny Owen. “To me, that is the beginning of a serial killer.” The owner of the dogs isn’t real happy either. “I told them, I don’t see how all of you find something like this funny. It’s not funny,” she said. “Because they were laughing in the back of the cruiser like they couldn’t care less.” The two kids are each charged with one count of first-degree animal cruelty and face up to five years in prison. AUSTIN, Texas – A woman learned that the man who was living with her, 26-year-old Cecil Leary, had been abusive to his previous girlfriend. So in a big twist on this site, she told him to get out. A month later, she returns home to find the door of her apartment ajar and in another intelligent decision rarely seen here, she didn’t go in – rather, she called police. When they went inside, they found the place had been vandalized, spray painted walls, broken furniture and oddly enough, a dog crate being held in a bathtub full of water with a televisions sitting on top. Also, her 3-month-old pit bull puppy, Lovely, was nowhere to be found. But the fate of her dog would soon be revealed through a series of text messages she would receive from Leary.

CHICAGO, Illinois – A dog with its eye ripped out, a dog with a leg twisted backward and a dog with its lower extremities nearly ripped off its body. That’s just a taste of what police found during a raid on a Chicago home daycare. Seems as if it wasn’t just children the owner’s were caring for. In a garage attached to the back of the house, dog-fighting equipment was located. In fact, when police arrived on Tuesday, they found “a very aggressive” pit bull in the garage, with blood on the floor and along the sides of a car. “Also in the garage were syringes, medication, bite sticks and harnesses used in dog fights,” the sheriff’s office said in a release. “The chest of the dog found in that garage was shredded from a recent fight and its penis was bitten almost completely off.” Some video after the jump, as well as a link to the full article which should piss you off. SACRAMENTO, California – Not much to this story – even though I somehow got it to four paragraphs involving my work at pet stores and my beloved Xbox – just an example of someone in desperate need of a solid cunt punch. Video surveillance at Just Puppies captured a woman instructing a little girl to walk into a gated area the public is not allowed in, grab a Maltese puppy valued at $1500, and hand it to her. The woman then puts the puppy under her shirt and walks out of the store. Tom Klinger, the store’s owner, was not aware of the theft until he realized one of the two Maltese puppies he had was missing. He then reviewed the video and notified police. [Read more...]

Dreamin’ Demon Home Office, Akron, OH – We here at the Dreamin’ Demon love the holidays. Not just because we get to take the day off and indulge in hookers and blow, but also because it’s a time for peace, love, harmony, and a bunch of other sentimental crap.
We’ll be way busy next week, posting stuff about women beating their men with fry cookers, and men beating their women with turkeys, and no doubt somebody will shove something – or someone – into an oven. So in honor of this festive occasion, we have compiled one of our Awesome D’D Top Five Lists: The Top Five Stories About Ovens… and the victims people put in them. Or on them. You’re welcome, internet!

GREEN BAY, WI – Well, I didn’t think we would have TWO stories about this kind of shit this year, but another dog has been found dead, cooking in an oven. Alex Rouse (call me) came home to a smokey home the other day to find her 5-month old Pekinese/poodle puppy named Hulk, cooking in a hot oven.

8-month-old Andrew Stein was mauled and killed by the family Doberman on Thursday. Known to be docile and friendly with the neighbors, the family dog attacked the owner’s child for unknown reasons. The child was rushed to a hospital, but declared dead an hour later. Meanwhile, the dog was sent to an animal care facility to await determination regarding its fate. [Read more...]
