INDIANAPOLIS — Any of you remember Andrew Conley? He’s the 17-year-old kid we reported on last year who was accused of strangling his 10-year-old brother. He would go on to confess that he had fantasized about killing since he was in the eighth-grade, identified himself with Dexter and according to the affadavit, killed his little brother because he felt he had to — likening the urge to kill to a hungry person satisfying a craving for a hamburger. Well he pleaded guilty to murder on Monday. He has made no deal with prosecutors and faces a minimum of 45 years in prison. Prosecutors want life without parole, calling Conley an evil psychopath who poses a threat to society if released. Police said Andrew confessed to placing Conner in a headlock causing him to pass out. He then dragged his brother to the kitchen where he strangled him for 20 minutes until he died. Andrew stuffed his body in a trunk then walked to his girlfriends house to giver her a promise ring.…

Dexter, MO – Why it’s a bad idea to let random homeless dudes crash at your place: Reason #1 – They might just take a likin’ to your young ‘ens. One family had to learn that the hard way after inviting 64-year-old Nathen Purdom into their home. According to police, the couple took him in back in early June – since then, he has admittedly molested their 7-year-old daughter on several occasions between June 1st and July 16th. The little girl told her parents that Purdom molested her in the bedroom they allowed him to occupy. In the arrest warrant request, the activity is termed as “deviate sexual intercourse.” During questioning, Purdom admitted to doing the same damn thing to the female daughters of three other families who were kind enough to open their home to him. Police say one of  the cases is believed to have occurred four years ago. For this particular case, he’s being charged with statutory sodomy in the first degree – additional charges are pending. The skeevy bastard remains behind bars on $25,000 cash only bond. …

The Dexter Recap: #405 – Dirty Harry

October 27, 2009 at 1:41 pm by

Other than perhaps a bit too much of John Lithgow‘s bare ass in some of the earlier episodes, what is not to love about Dexter this season? I thought it would be impossible to ever dethrone the second season as my personal favorite. But so far, season four is electrifying. Best of all, this season seems to be really digging at the audience, trying to make each viewer decide, “what is my code.” We all know the central question the show poses – is Dexter (and his actions) right or wrong? But even if you decide Dex is wrong, this wonderful little show is infamous for getting you to cheer on the self-proclaimed “monster.” And when you begin to cheer on the monster, you are forced to perceive some of the people close to him as a threat to his survival.…

Dexter Season 2 Information

The Showtime original series, Dexter, based on Jeff Lindsay’s novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter is back for a second season. The show revolves around Dexter a man who is employed by the Miami Dade Police force as a blood spatter expert. He is also an active serial killer who chooses his victims by a code instilled in him by his foster father.

The TV Addict has posted a recap of the Dexter panel discussion held last Wednesday at the Museum of Television and Radio’s annual William S. Paley Festival. Click the link to read the entire article, but some of the interesting things reported in regards to Season 2 were that Dexter’s father may not be a good guy and that Masuka will now be a part of the regular cast.
