Bournemouth, Dorset UK – Three days after announcing on her Facebook that she had a stalker, 17-year-old Emily Longley was found dead inside a home on Saturday morning.
Police described the cause of Longley’s death as “undetermined subject to toxicology tests.” But reports are that last Wednesday the teen informed everyone she had a stalker. She wrote: “I have a stalker!!!” She went on to describe getting a phone call from a private number. She asked who it was to which she wrote the replied: “You don’t know me but I know everything about you.” After hanging up, the unidentified male would not stop calling.
Of course her Facebook postings may have nothing at all to do with her death, especially since her father told a newspaper his daughter had died in her sleep, but he did not know how. Police did arrest two Bournemouth men, aged 19 and 17, but they were released on bail. Longley knew the two males and I’m going to assume that they were at the home she was found dead.…Continue Reading
LORAIN, Ohio - Gary Daniels, Sr., 64, has been accused of raping a 12-year-old girl and getting her pregnant.
Police say no one knew the girl was pregnant until her mother took her to the health department for a physical. Once this bit of information was revealed, the girl allegedly told her mother that it was Daniels who had raped her sometime in December.
Daniels was a friend of the family and has been accused of this type of behavior before. He was accused of touching a 10-year-old and 13-year-old at a homeless shelter and charged with abduction, gross sexual imposition and sexual imposition. He was found innocent of those charged in 2009.
If Daniels is responsible for the kid baking in that kid, he’s going to have a real hard time proving otherwise and may want to get used to that cell he’s currently sitting in. He’s probably gonna die in it.…Continue Reading
Silsbee, TX – I swear I thought this was the plot of a FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS episode, but I guess I just read about it in our forums. The story starts in 2008 when a 16-year-old cheerleader for Silsbee High School accused one of the school’s star athletes, Rakheem Bolton (pictured), of raping her at a party.
Bolton and two other men would later be arrested and a grand jury would indict Bolton on a felony sexual assault of a minor charge. This charge was dropped when Bolton pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault. He received two years probation, community service, a fine and had to to take anger-management classes. He was also allowed to return to school and rejoin his teammates on the basketball team. ”I have no hard feelings toward the girl,” Bolton told reporters. “It was a misunderstanding.”
In January of 2009, the victim was leading cheers at a basketball game Bolton was participating in, but when Bolton was about to take a free throw, the girl would stand silently with her arms folded refusing to cheer for the person she accuses of raping her.…Continue Reading
On Wednesday night police received a call about a missing person. An investigation ensued, which would eventually turn up the body of Beth Spartichino, 42, buried in a shallow grave in her backyard. Exhumation of the body revealed what investigators believe to be gunshot wounds to the back. Also found at the scene was a shoe print, which led them to arrest her 17 year-old son, Matthew Worster.
Aside from the shoe print, police say Matthew left other pieces of compelling evidence in the form of voicemails, one of which was left on his father’s phone. In the message, Matthew allegedly stated “I did what I had to do, but know that I will be all right.”
Oddly enough, last year Easton Police received a phone call from Spartichino stating that her estranged husband had threatened to “kill her and bury her in the backyard where no one would find her.” It was around this time that the two began divorce proceedings.…Continue Reading
Chicago, IL - According to police reports, on April, 22, Ruth Ramirez, 26, was at The Leg Room on Chicago’s Division Street – a popular north side bar area. Another woman, 29, and a friend were dancing at the club when Ramirez reportedly approached them and began arguing with the woman.
The topic of the argument was not reported, but it does not appear that Ramirez was happy with how the argument was going. Ramirez, a 5′ 4″ mother-of-one nicknamed “Tuty,” came at the victim and reportedly smashed a glass in her face before fleeing the scene.
The victim was treated at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital for multiple lacerations to her left eye and cheek, receiving 32 stitches in her face.
What would have been the perfect crime was then undone by Ramirez’ bravado. According to Assistant State’s Attorney Erin Antonietti, the victim’s friend was on Facebook the next day when she saw a post by Ramirez bragging about the incident. She showed the post to the victim, who identified her attacker by the photograph posted on the profile.…Continue Reading
Madison, WI - James A. Larry, 33, of Madison, Wisconsin was angry that his family would not go along with his conversion to Islam. Very angry. Apparently now seeing the error of his ways, Larry pleaded guilty Wednesday to their murders.
Larry had converted to Islam while serving a prison sentence in Wisconsin for a weapons conviction. His family chose not to convert.
“He was upset at his wife and their family — he felt disrespected that they would not join his religion,” Assistant State’s Attorney Jim McKay said. “He wanted them dead.”
In the early morning hours of April 14, 2010, at the family home, Larry began by shooting his mother, Leona Larry, 57, as she slept on a sofa in the living room. He then went through the house, shooting his wife, Twanda Thompson, 19; his 7-month-old son, Jihad; his 3-year-old niece, Keleasha Larry; and his pregnant 16-year-old niece, Keyshai Fields.
Larry also shot his 13-year-old nephew, Demond Larry, in the face, but the boy survived.
Prosecutors said the defendant also kicked in the bedroom door of a man who lived in the basement of the home and tried to shoot him – apparently because he rented from infidels(?).…Continue Reading
LIBERTY, Missouri - Another day on D’D, another day of parents imprisoning their kids in rooms covered in human feces.
Officers were called to the apartment of Paul and Bethany Jenkins on Tuesday after receiving reports of a man threatening his children with a knife. When they got there they found Paul Jenkins standing at the door. They handcuffed him and placed him in a patrol car.
Once inside the home, they noticed a door with a black coaxial cable knotted around the doorknob. If you guessed they found a shit covered room with young children inside, you’d be correct. The four children were ages 8, 7, 3 and 2 and the room had feces smeared on the walls and carpet. There were also two beds with no sheets or blankets.
The children told police they were often shut in the room for long periods of time. Another child, almost a year old, was found in another bedroom that was also covered in feces. His clothes were soaked with urine and the smell was so bad it made the officers’ eyes water.…Continue Reading
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Hard to believe it has been over a year since 15-year-old Phoebe Prince decided to hang herself after being ruthlessly bullied by some fellow classmates. But now the teens accused of driving the teen to suicide are finally learning their fates, starting with Sean Mulveyhill and Kayla Narey, both 18.
Yesterday Mulveyhill changed his plea to guilty on a charge of criminal harassment and received one year of probation. He must also perform 100 hours of community service with at-risk youth. As part of his plea, charges of statutory rape and violating Prince’s civil rights were dropped. Smart move, Mulveyhill.
Narey received the same sentence after she pleaded to sufficient facts to the same charge of criminal harassment, acknowledging the state could win conviction at trial. However, after a year of good behavior, the charge will disappear. She did read a letter in court, tearfully apologizing for her part in Prince’s bullying.
Prince’s mother, Anne O’Brien, gave an emotional victim’s impact statement, focusing some anger towards Mulveyhill, who had dated Prince for a short while.…Continue Reading
Cloquet, MN - Formal charges were levied Tuesday against Amber Ray Stonemark, 26, who police allege sliced up an ex-boyfriend with a straight-blade razor while claiming to be Jesus Christ. By the account, she seemed quite intent on dispatching him to the great beyond.
25-year-old Chaz Farleigh was the unfortunate focus of Stonemark’s attention last Friday night. ”I’m going to kill him and send him for eternity to the devil.” Stonemark was quoted by police as saying after being told to drop what police thought was a knife.
C’mon cops… WWJKW? A knife? I don’t think so…
According to the complaint, Cloquet police were dispatched to a home near Stonemark’s after reports of a fight on the back steps. A nearby officer was able to respond almostimmediately. He encountering Stonemark “covered in blood” and wielding an “old-style straight-edge folding razor.” By the officer’s account, “she was in the process of trying to stab a bloody man lying on his back.”
The officer tased her in the chest from a distance of about six feet.…Continue Reading
HUNTSVILLE— Cary Kerr, 46, has been on Huntsville Prison death row since his 2003 conviction of sexually assaulting and strangling 34-year-old Pamela Norton. She was killed after he pushed her from a moving vehicle. He has always professed his innocence, even though the evidence showed otherwise.
The jury agreed with prosecutors and convicted him of the charges and decided the world would be a better place if Kerr was removed from it, agreeing he was a suitable candidate for the death penalty.
Yesterday was his date with the needle and aside from having a last meal that consisted of cheeseburger and fries, spaghetti and lasagna, pizza, fried mushrooms, tacos, pork ribs, fried and baked chicken, quiche, and ice cream, he was also the first recipient of Texas’ new drug combo used during lethal injections.
Sodium thiopental is one of the three drugs used in lethal injections and is no longer available. So now pentobarbital will be used in its place. This new mixture was administered to Kerr at 6:14 yesterday evening and by 6:19 he was pretty dead, proving the new drug combo works pretty well.…Continue Reading
SAN MARCOS, TX — I may be assuming a bit when I say that there’s a big possibility alcohol was involved with three people deciding to jump from a first-floor window of a Texas State University dorm. A decision that cost one their life and seriously injured another.
For reasons unknown, 24-year-old Eirin Hicks, 19-year-old Kristin McCreery and an unidentified male jumped from the Laurel Hall dormitory window early Tuesday morning. Both Hicks and McCreery were injured in the fall.
Hicks was taken to the hospital in critical condition suffering from head injuries and would die later that day. McCreery was also taken to the hospital suffering from back injuries and was listed in fair condition. The male was not hurt.
Police say there was a small gathering at the dorm and they had been called out there earlier on a noise complaint, but do not feel the three jumped out of the window to avoid police.
THIBODAUX, La. – Police said 41-year-old Tracy Lynn Anderson was arrested after her children were caught shoplifting and she arrived at the police station to pick them up while drunk.
It all started earlier that day when her three kids were busted stealing items from a Family Dollar. They were taken to the police department and their parents were called. When Anderson showed up to take two of her kids home, police noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming out of her mouth.
Aside from admitting she had consumed five beers, she also admitted that she had been paying more attention to her alcohol consumption than her kids and wasn’t aware they had even left the house. After agreeing to a blood alcohol test, and scoring a .14, she was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving under suspension or revocation and improper supervision of a juvenile.
One of the kids caught stealing was old enough to be charged with theft of goods before being released into the custody of their parents.…Continue Reading
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – A woman is facing battery charges after police say she bit off her boyfriend’s lower lip during an argument.
Police were called to the Coachlight Inn Sunday night and found a 35-year-old man sporting a bloody face. He was transported to a local hospital then to the University Medical Center of El Paso because the extent of his injuries.
You see, he had been arguing with his girlfriend, 26-year-old Aurelia Lorena Reyes. The disagreement got heated and he told her to get out. Reyes responded to this request by grabbing her boyfriend’s head and biting off his lower lip.
And I don’t mean “off” in a sensationalize a story way, I mean “off” as in his lip was no longer attached to his face. In fact, police found it laying on the sidewalk right outside the door of the couple’s apartment. It was collected sent to the hospital with the victim, but I haven’t read any reports of it being re-attached to the man’s mouth or not.…Continue Reading
Early Monday morning the victim’s adopted daughter called 911 to report her mother was being assaulted in the home. When police arrived they found Clark dead from having been stabbed to death, and her 14-year-old daughter unharmed. Clark’s adopted son had fled the scene.
For five hours police searched for Dilan, finally locating him after someone called 911 to report he was sitting in front of their house. Police picked him up at the residence without incident and subsequently charged him with second degree murder. He has been charged as an adult.
So far there have been no official reports on what sparked the argument, but rumors are it was over his cell phone being taken away. School District Superintendent Wayne Waldridge is a good friend of the family and expressed shock at the news. “I have no idea what prompted him. He’s a good kid. I’ve been around him for a number of years,” Waldridge said.…Continue Reading
WARREN, MI – Been a slow news day at the moment, Jaded and crew having grabbed the better stories this morning. But there are a couple floating around, starting with a 17-year-old who died after being shot by the owner of the home he broke into.
Police say that on Monday morning, the teen had broken into a home owned by two brothers who run a side business that has them keeping large televisions in the house. The commotion woke up one of the brothers, a man in his early 30s, leading to the amn and the teen coming face to face with each other.
The teen was armed with a butcher’s knife, the man armed with a shotgun he used to shoot the teen in the leg. The teen jumped out a window and tried to run, but collapsed and died from blood loss.
The homeowner was taken to the hospital suffering from a mild panic attack. He is cooperating with police, who have remarked this looks like a case of justifiable homicide, but he refused to make any statements without a lawyer.…Continue Reading
Shippensburg, PA – A 10-year-old girl in Pennsylvania has been charged with murdering 10-month-old Heath Ryder.
Last July, 56-year-old Dottie Mae Bowers was baby sitting Ryder when she called his mother saying she could not wake Heath from his nap and he was breathing funny. The mother told Bowers to call 911, but she didn’t. Ryder would die later at the hospital from blunt force trauma to the head and a doctor would later say that Ryder’s chances of survival would have been “greatly increased” had the idiot simply called 911 at the first signs of trouble.
Bowers was charged with involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child on Friday. She was released on an unsecured $50,000 bond and faces 15 years if convicted. Also charged was one of the girls who were also at the home. She was 9 at the time, and was charged with third-degree murder and originally charged as an adult.
There were two girls there at the time, the accused and a 7-year-old, each with a different account of what happened to Ryder.…Continue Reading
Chicago, IL - A 38-year-old man is being held on $1,000,000 bail after allegedly raping a 6-year-old girl in front of her brother.
Prosecutors allege Jerry Harris went into the bedroom of his friend’s two children back in 2010, ordered a young boy to hide under his blankets, then proceeded to rape the boy’s 6-year-old sister. The young boy witnessed the entire thing because he “peeked” from under his covers and watched the ordeal.
Harris was arrested on Friday and charged with predatory sexual assault of a child after the incident was reported to a teacher. Prosecutors told the judge Harris has eight prior felony convictions while his public defender informed the court he had five children of his own. Scary, I know. The judge must have thought so as well, and set his bond at $1 million on Saturday.
I’m hoping if the allegations are true, he sits in jail for a long time to come.…Continue Reading
Riverside, CA – Police are reporting a regional director for the National Socialist Movement was shot in killed at his home early Sunday morning, and his 10-year-old son is suspected of pulling the trigger.
Jeff Hall, 32, was a regional director for the National Socialist Movement, a neo-Nazi group based in Detroit. Police responded to his home early Sunday after a report of shots fired. Inside they found Hall dead from a single gunshot wound.
His wife and five other children were at the home at the time of the shooting, but only his 10-year-old son was detained. Police said they were not looking for any additional suspects. They also didn’t state if they felt the shooting was an accident or intentional, but I’m sure that will all come out later when more details are revealed.
Aside from working as a plumber, Hall was gaining a lot of attention with his neo-Nazi endeavors. He ran for a position on the Western Riverside Municipal Water District board in November, but lost to incumbent Tom Evans. A New York Times reporter was at his house covering a rally being held the night before he was shot in which Hall called on members to join him for militia-style raids on illegal immigrants along the Mexico-Arizona border.…Continue Reading
After last week’s episode had me worried that I had lost interest in the show, last night’s episode of THE KILLING, “What You Have Left,” pulled me right back in with one of the better episodes since the pilot.
The show’s attempt at showing some of the realities of death and the ripple effect it causes had me worried the it was going to consistently travel too far into depressing territory to be enjoyable, and this episode was no exception when it opened with Rosie being prepped and the family getting ready for the funeral.
Once again we are shown some of the effects Rosie’s death is having on the family, but luckily these are done with some short, effective scenes instead of an entire episode of the Larson’s walking around in a daze while neglecting their two boys. The couple arguing over the date Rosie gave her father a pair of cuff links, Tom asking to be a pallbearer and later crushing a millipede crawling near his sister’s were all well-played and thankfully for me, brief.…Continue Reading
Thanks to everyone who turned out for last night’s podcast, a podcast full of feces and penis. I was a bit worried as we pulled it together hours before the show as Imp was sick and I was not sure if Jaded would make it or not.
Luckily, Jaded took time out of her busy schedule busting skulls and we were finally able to get a good friend of mine, the infamous Michelle McKee, to join us and have her podcast cherry popped.
Even Kniption called in to talk about a couple of his stories before he got disconnected. So check it out and listen as we talk about some of the site’s most popular stories over the last week and why we are better than everyone else.
A big thanks to all the regulars (and guests) who showed up in the chat as well as Malq and Shadow for calling in to the show. If you listened to the live version last night, we did keep going for another 20 minutes as me, Michelle and Jaded discussed huffing paint, Michelle’s other personalities, and beer bottle enemas.…Continue Reading
