Facebook Helps Implicate Man Who Murdered Woman, Stuffed Her Under Motel MattressSALT LAKE CITY, UT — On June 2, a guest at the Capitol Motel went to the manager and complained about an awful smell in her room. Employees searched for the source of the smell and found it was emanating from the corpse of 26-year-old Jessica Irene Jensen.

She had been stabbed to death and stuffed under the mattress five days earlier.

After police found that Thomas Kumalac, 28, had previously rented the room and had checked out a few days earlier, they released his name to the media as a person they would like to talk to.

On June 2, after seeing Kumalac’s name on the news, the estranged husband of Kumalac’s new girlfriend handed police some very interesting Facebook messages. The messages detailed both her and Kumalac’s involvement in Jensen’s murder.

Acting on a tip that same night, detectives stopped a bus and apprehended Kumalac and his girlfriend. Kumulac would admit to murdering Jensen in the hotel room and hiding her body between the wooden frame and the mattress. His girlfriend would also provide police with details Kumalac had given her after the murder.…

Man Tries Killing His Mother With An Airplane

July 20, 2011 at 3:41 pm by

Man Tries Killing His Mother With An AirplaneSwitzerland – “Are you home mum? I’m just about to drop in,” 47-year-old Konrad Schmidt allegedly said before he flew a twin engine plane through his mother’s bedroom window.

Schmidt was battling depression and had been involved in a long-running feud with his mother ever since she divorced his father who would later die of cancer.

“Schmidt felt very bitter and blamed his mother. He had also suffered depression and financial problems over the past few years,” said a police spokesperson.

On Saturday, neighbors reported seeing Schmidt flying over the houses a few times before he called his mother from the cockpit and then kamikazed into her home. Schmidt would die in the crash, crush the two story home and ignite a giant fireball.

But Schmidt couldn’t even do this right. Although he skillfully navigated a twin-engine plane through a bedroom window, his mother was physically unharmed. She had been in the basement at the time of the crash.…

Bolt Cutters Used To Cut Off Mans Finger During Home InvasionHouston, TX – Three suspected members of the Aryan Brotherhood have been charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized activity after cutting off a man’s finger during a home invasion.

Jason Skolaski, 34, Shannon Michael Kasper, 20, Ned Allen Smith, 42, and Smith’s 15-year-old son, got into an argument with some people at a home they were visiting on Monday and were asked to leave.

The group did so but returned to the apartment later that night with a shotgun and some bolt cutters. They encountered the residents outside and forced them into the apartment where one of the victims was able to escape out a back window and get help.

The men stole $300 and a cell phone from the homeowner but before leaving, one of the men stated he wanted something else; the homeowner’s finger. So the bolt cutters were used to cut off the man’s right index finger at the second knuckle.

Witnesses were able to give police a description of the vehicle the group left in and police were able to pull them over and place them in jail, charging all four with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized activity.…

Young Burglar Dies After Scuffle With Elderly HomeownerEVERETT, Wash. — A young man allegedly trying to steal the motor of a boat has died after getting into a scuffle with the boat’s elderly owner.

A 67-year-old man observed the man, described as being in his 20s, breaking into his boat parked in his driveway. The homeowner called police before going out to confront the man. The two ended up in a physical confrontation with the senior getting the upper-hand and pinning the man to the ground.

When deputies arrived, they found that the boat’s owner was still holding the would-be thief on the ground, and that the young man was not breathing. Police attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The older man was not physically injured, but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

A cause of death has not been determined at this point, but who cares. “I thought that was pretty cool that an old man could keep him at bay,” Neighbor Cindy Bye said. “I mean I`m sorry that he passed away but more power to the old man.”

No charges have been filed.…

Phoenix Girl Dies While Playing Hide And Seek

July 20, 2011 at 8:53 am by

Phoenix Girl Dies While Playing Hide And SeekPhoenix, AZ – This story is a week old, but I figured I’d post it for anyone else who, like me, didn’t see it. A 10-year-old girl playing hide-and-seek was found dead inside a storage locker last week.

The girl was playing outside a home with her cousins and some neighborhood kids late Monday night, early Tuesday morning, when she climbed inside the small trunk to hide. Reports are the girl took considerable pride in not being found by picking some pretty good hiding places in the past, including a dryer.

This time she picked one a little too good. It was a storage locker of some type located in the backyard of the house. She would not be found until the next morning when the adults in the home woke up and began looking for her. Attempts were made to revive her but she had already died, possibly of positional asphyxiation or suffocation.

Police do not suspect foul play, but they did notify child protective services when they found the inside of the home a mess.…

Mother Robs Bank With Toddler For Drug Money

July 19, 2011 at 9:03 am by

Mother Robs Bank With Toddler For Drug Money PASCO COUNTY, Florida – A mother in Florida is currently behind bars after police say she took her 3-year-old son into a bank and robbed it, all so she could get money to pay for prescription drugs.

Police say that on Monday afternoon 24-year-old Cherilyn Jannette Lopez left her engine running in the parking lot, with her 3-year-old strapped in a car seat, as she entered the Regions Bank on State Road 52.

While inside, the little boy had somehow got out of the vehicle and followed his momma. The bank manager noticed to boy outside looking in and asked Lopez if that was her kid. Lopez opened the door to let the boy in, then with her son at her side, handed a teller a note demanding money.

After getting her loot, she left the area and dropped her son off at a nearby daycare. I’m not sure why she didn’t do that first, but  she’s a blonde drug addict from Florida so I didn’t ponder on it for too long.…

Father Accused Of Injecting Young Son With HeroinCHIMAYO, N.M. — Police have arrested a man after they say he injected his young son with heroin on several occasions.

This all started after the sister of 9-year-old Luke Velasquez’s told her mother that the marks on the boy’s neck came from their father injecting him with heroin. The mother took the boy to the hospital where he tested positive for THC and opiates.

Initially the boy told police that a 15-year-old friend is the one who injected him with heroin, but would later admit that it was his father, Jose Valasquez, who had injected him with the drug at least 10 times. He also told them that his dad let him drink and smoke marijuana.

The sister confirmed her father’s actions and added that her father had offered drugs and alcohol to her as well, but aside from taking drink on one occasion, declined his offers explaining to him that she didn’t need drugs because she had God. Ugh. I once had someone say the same crap to me when I offered her some Boone’s Farm.…

Teen Arrested After Missing Girl Found Dead In Trunk Of CarKitty Hawk, NC – A teenage girl who had been a part of a nationwide alert has been found dead inside the trunk of a car owned by a 19-year-old childhood friend of the victim who has been arrested and charged with her murder.

Police in Kitty Hawk, N.C. had put out a nationwide alert for Enrico Mascaro (mugshot) and 18-year-old Danielle Dennis-Towne after finding what they believed to be a possible homicide scene that included a weapon, shoes and other items.

Police were able to track Mascaro’s cell phone and locate his car parked in the small town of Clifton Forge, Virginia. Police watched the car for about an hour until Mascaro showed up and was apprehended. When police popped the trunk, they found Danielle’s body inside.

Dennis-Towne had been in North Carolina visiting relatives when she and Mascaro went missing. Not a lot of details regarding the actual crime other than that. I’d really like some background on where the crime scene was located and how police were alerted to it in the first place.…

Boyfriend Of Teen Charged With Murdering Mother Has Also Been ChargedStafford, Va. - Remember Ashleigh Dye? She’s the 17-year-old chick I posted about last week who was charged with murdering her mother during some kind of domestic altercation. Well it looks like my comment of about a guy being involved was 100 percent correct after the teen’s boyfriend was also arrested and charged.

For those of you who aren’t aware of this story, and cannot click links, Brenda Dye, 62, was found dead inside her home sometime around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. She was found by her husband and son in one of the home’s bathrooms where she had been shot in the upper torso with a shotgun. Ashleigh, her daughter, was quickly picked up and charged with committing the murder.

Details from court records reveal that the house had been rummaged through with papers, medications and other items having been tossed around in multiple rooms. One affidavit states Ashleigh admitting to detectives that she shot her mother and then left in her mother’s vehicle.

Ashleigh’s 18-year-old boyfriend, Eddie Wayne Chewning, was charged with being an accessory before the fact of first-degree murder and being an accessory before the fact of using a firearm in the commission of a felony because, according to the affidavits, Ashleigh reportedly texted him before and after murdering her mother.…

Possible Child Prostitution Link In Phylicia Barnes CaseBaltimore, MD – I’m a week late on this one.  Of course, it’s continued coverage of what was once the case of a missing black girl, so no one’s paying attention anyway.  We should be paying attention, though, especially those of us with daughters.  For you who may not recall, Phylicia Barnes was the stunning, bright 16-year-old who disappeared in December while visiting her sister in Baltimore, only to reemerge in April, naked and floating in the Susquehanna river.

In a disturbing but not altogether surprising development, investigators are using child pornography statutes to gain access to several email and Facebook accounts that may have been associated with Barnes, including two Yahoo! accounts under Phylicia’s name and the accounts of four Baltimore men.

It is a logical continuation in the investigation of an attractive young lady who disappeared into thin air while visiting a major city, found dead in an obvious manner four months later.  What likely happened to Phylicia is not an uncommon phenomenon.  In every major city across the nation, you can find the distraught parent of a teen who has been abducted and forced into prostitution.  It transcends race and even economic status.  Some survive, but many don’t.  To the parasites responsible for these abductions, these girls are considered disposable; a fact evidenced by the callous way in which Phylicia’s body was disposed of.…

Update On Second Boy Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Young Girl In ParkOmaha, Nebraska – We do so many stories here every day that sometimes I forget when I am waiting on an update. One story in particular was the one I posted about in June in which two boys, ages 12 and 13, were charged with filming themselves sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl in a neighborhood park.

When we first reported on it, the 12-year-old was ordered to be held in a juvenile facility while the 13-year-old got to stay home with his parents over the Fourth of July holidays. I had forgotten about the entire thing until today when a reader emailed us with an update.

For those of you not familiar with this story, a 5-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother were lured to a drainage ditch by the two older boys at a park near the victim’s home. The older boys reportedly threatened to beat up the younger pair if they didn’t do what they said. They then used their cell phones to record themselves sexually assaulting the girl. This assault included penetration, fondling and worst of all, forcing the young girl to perform oral sex on them as well as on her brother.…

Mother Charged With Using Pool Chemicals To Clean ChildrenVENICE, FL. - A woman in Florida is facing multiple child abuse charges after she was accused of using pool cleaning chemicals to clean her 18-month-old boy and his 10-year-old sister.

Authorities were notified by the 38-year-old woman’s adult son who had grown concerned over his mother’s mental health and the extreme bathing methods she had recently adopted.

This included pouring chlorine and pool shock into the pool and making the siblings immediately jump in, pouring liquid pool shock on their feet and ankles, and making them walk in powdered pool shock before rinsing their feet off in the sink.

She was doing this because she had become convinced that this was the only way to keep her kids and home free from the bugs that she claimed were poisoning her. Her son also added that recently she had started staying awake for several days, then sleeping for several days.

She is facing three felony counts of aggravated child abuse to go along with the other 10 felony charges she had acquired over the years, including child abuse charges, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, domestic battery, simple battery and 27 incident reports concerning DCF, family violence, suspicious incidents, and welfare checks.…

Missouri Mother Vanishes Shortly After Finalizing DivorceCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Sorry for the lack of stories today, but I had a bad sausage biscuit this morning that has sapped out any desire to post about some of these assholes. But I did get an email involving this interesting case out of Missouri involving a missing mother of triplets who was last seen shortly after finalizing her divorce.

On June 1, 39-year-old Jacque Sue Waller had just left a divorce hearing and stopped by her husband’s house to pick up her 5-year-old daughter. But her daughter was not there. James “Clay” Waller, a former police officer, told investigators that he and his wife got into an argument and that she had walked away mad. That is the last reported time anyone has ever seen or heard from her.

On the morning she was reported missing, police found Waller’s car with a flat tire, abandoned along Interstate 55 in Missouri. Her purse, keys and cellphone were not found inside the vehicle, and there has been no activity on her credit cards and phone since she went missing.…

Couple Found Guilty On All Counts In Case Of Toddler Killed By Pet PythonBushnell, Florida – A little over two years after we first posted about the couple whose little girl was killed by the family’s pet python, the couple were on trial fighting murder charges.

Yesterday they were found guilty on all counts against them. It took a jury less than two hours to find Jaren Hare, 21, and Charles “Jason” Darnell, 31, guilty of manslaughter, third-degree murder and child neglect.

The couple were charged after they woke up one morning in 2009 to find that their 8-foot long python named Gypsy had gotten out of its tank and was firmly fastened to 2-year-old Shaiuanna Hare’s head.

Darnell was able to get the snake off of her by stabbing it multiple times, but it was too late, the girl had been strangled to death. It would later be reported that the snake had not been fed in a month, that the tank it was being kept in was inadequate and that Gypsy had escaped from it on multiple occasions — including earlier the day the little girl was killed.…

Three Charged After Hair Appointment Becomes Hostage SituationBrunswick, GA - Three people have been arrested following a hair appointment that became a hostage situation.  Sheesh…  again?!?

According to the Glynn County Police Department, late Saturday a 39-year-old man drove a 16-year-old girl to an apartment complex to get her hair done.  Jalescia Hawkins, 19, was the stylist.  The man’s identity was not released.

When the man returned to give the 16-year-old girl a ride back home, the girl reportedly asked for $20 to pay for the hair appointment.  The man refused.  According to police, in response, Hawkins’ boyfriend, Marquise Timms (pictured), 19, pulled the man’s 7-year-old son out of the rear seat of the car and held a gun to the boy’s head while again asking for the $20.

Meh.  We’ve all had a hair appointment like that.

The victim gave Timms the $20 which prompted Timms to then throw the child to the pavement, causing minor injuries.

A mother who lived in the apartment complex ran outside to see what was going on.  While outside, Timms, Hawkins and the 16-year-old ran into her apartment.…

Man Dies After Falling Into Meat Grinder

July 14, 2011 at 3:14 pm by

Man Dies After Falling Into Meat GrinderLAWTON, Okla. — Michael Raper had just celebrated his 26th birthday on Monday and was engaged to be married in February. Everything seemed to be going pretty well for the guy until Tuesday when he was involved in a horrific, workplace accident involving a meat grinder.

Raper was in charge of cleaning the machinery at a Bar S food processing plant when he somehow fell feet first into an auger. (*cringe*)

When emergency crews arrived, they found Raper conscious and trapped from the waist down. It took two hours to free him from the machine before he was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, Raper’s injuries proved too severe, injuries that included losing both of his legs, and he would die on Wednesday.

Department of Labor officials have started an OSHA investigation and the vice president for operations at the plant they are working with all government agencies to determine the cause of the accident.

This story reminds me that life is just too short and that KFOR’s Joleen Chaney is hot as hell.…

Mom Surrenders After Fire Kills Two Young Sons Left Home AlonePITTSBURGH, PA – I wasn’t even going to write this one up but we got a couple emails on it and besides, we needed some black people on the page before we’re get accused of being a liberal, “white guilt” site again.

The mother whose two young sons died in a fire after being left home alone has turned herself in to police yesterday.

Kiaira Pollard, 27, surrendered to police late Wednesday after a warrant was issued against her on charges of endangering the welfare of children and tampering with a fire apparatus.

These charges were filed after firefighters responded to a fire at her third-floor apartment and found her two young boys alone inside. KiDonn Pollard-Ford, 7, was found dead under a pile of clothes while KrisDon Williams-Pollard, 4,  was found unresponsive underneath his crib. He was revived on the way to the hospital, but would die two days later.

Pollard rushed home when she heard about the fire and would tell authorities that she had been at work and had left her sons in the care of a babysitter.…

Suspect In Teens Disappearance Charged With Attempted MurderFORT COLLINS, Colo. – You just can’t keep a good psycho down it seems. Travis Forbes, 33, is a suspect in the disappearance of 19-year-old Kenia Monge who went missing back in April. Now he is in jail after police say he sexually assaulted a woman before attempting to kill her.

Forbes had been in jail on unrelated vehicle theft charges but was released when those charges were dropped. Six days later police say Forbes physically assaulted a 30-year-old woman inside her apartment. The woman escaped by jumping from a second-story bedroom window after Forbes intentionally set the place on fire.

He was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder, sex assault, assault, arson and aggravated motor vehicle theft. Hopefully police can keep him behind bars where they wanted him, as they are pretty sure he has murdered Monge.

Monge disappeared April 1 after leaving a Denver nightclub, leaving behind her purse and cell phone. Forbes has admitted he gave Monge, who he claims was drunk, a ride to a Denver gas station where he says she left with another man.…

Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Students Says Shes InsaneSpringboro, Ohio – Stacy Schuler, 33, used to be a physical education teacher at Mason High School who once wrote in her Health Education Philosophy portion of her application that she wanted to teach students about major risk factors for teenagers including “sexual behaviors that result in disease, STDs, and unwanted pregnancies.

After receiving an anonymous tip, police would find that her teaching methods included banging members of the high school’s football team.

Schuler would resign from her position shortly after a grand jury indicted her on 16 counts of sexual battery, a third-degree felony; and three misdemeanor counts of providing alcohol to minors. She’s looking at up to 81 years in jail if convicted on all charges, but as we have seen in these types of cases, that’s highly unlikely.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges, denying any of the things she is accused of doing ever happened. Her trial was supposed to start in May, but it has now been pushed back to August after she changed her plea from not guilty to not guilty by reasons of insanity, effectively increasing the chances that I will think about her later while masturbating.…

Convicted Pedophile Allowed To View Child Porn In JailTacoma, WA – Talk about one hell of a loophole. Weldon Marc Gilbert, 47, was accused of giving young boys alcohol and spank their bare buttocks. Prosecutors said Gilbert allegedly engaged up to 20 teens in masturbation, oral sex and anal sex.

He pleaded guilty in April to 31 counts of production of child pornography, two counts of transporting a minor across state lines to engage in sexual activity and two counts of obstruction of justice after one of his victims called police.

Hundreds of  DVD’s and tapes containing nearly 30 hours of child rape and molestation were confiscated from Gilbet’s home and used to convict him in federal court. He now gets to watch those tapes anytime he wants, while in jail because he serves as his own attorney, allowing him access to the evidence used against him.

“There is case law that that allows criminal defense attorneys access to evidence and courts have specifically ruled that they should have access to viewing child porn if it’s being used as evidence. This defendant is acting as his own attorney and therefore has the same access,” said Mark Lindquist, Pierce County prosecuting attorney.…
