In November of 2013, Hutson aimed a shotgun at her 58-year-old mother, Susan Hutson, and threatened to shoot her.
Susan, who was dying of congestive heart failure and other illnesses, thought her daughter was playing a sick joke and told her she was going to tell her father when he got home.
Unfazed, Rachel pulled the trigger and killed her mother, who she’d cared for for years. Afterwards, Rachel called her father, who was out shopping, and told him what she’d done. He didn’t believe her so he hung up the phone.
To prove she wasn’t joking, Rachel used her phone to take a picture of her dead mother then texted it to her dad.
“That’s when I realized this is probably real,” he said in court, adding that it was 90 minutes before he was able to call 911 because he was on the phone trying to stop his daughter from killing herself.…
SANDY SPRINGS, GA – Police in Georgia are asking for the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old man believed to have held a 14-year-old girl captive and repeatedly raped her over the next two days.
Police were called to the Azalea Park Apartments this past Halloween where the victim told them she and two friends attended a Halloween party inside one of the vacant apartments.
“According to our victim, there were approximately 20 people at this party. There was alcohol and marijuana smoking that was taking place inside this apartment,” said Sgt. Ron Momon of the Sandy Springs Police Department.
Several times during the party the teen said she tried to leave, but a man in his 30s was guarding the door and would not let her out. After the party was over, she says she was forced into a bathroom.
After the party was over, she says she was repeatedly raped for several days by an 18-year-old who goes by the name “Trey,” and another man. She managed to escape by climbing out of a bedroom window.…
BIRMINGHAM, AL – Police in Alabama have charged an 8-year-old boy with the beating death of a 1-year-old girl.
Katerra Lewis, 26, was staying at a friend’s house with her only child, 1-year-old Kelci Lewis, while waiting for section 8 housing to open up for her. On Oct 11, Katerra and her friend left their children – ages 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 and 8 – home alone so they could go to a nightclub.
These classy bitches left at 11:30 p.m. and did not return until almost three hours later. During that time, Kelci was beat to death. Her body was discovered in her crib at around 10:45 the following morning. While I’m no expert, I think it’s safe to assume that means she was never checked on when the women returned home.
Birmingham police spokesman, Lt Sean Edwards, confirmed that there were obvious signs of trauma to the baby and stated the 8-year-old boy in the home is responsible.
“It is believed that while the mother and friend were at the club, the 8-year-old viciously attacked the 1-year-old because the 1-year-old would not stop crying,” Edwards said, “The 1-year-old suffered from severe head trauma as well as major internal organ damage which ultimately led to her death.”
After the boy beat the shit out of the baby, he put her back into her crib where she stayed until being found the next morning.…
The girl said she woke up at around 4 a.m. when she felt Herrera crawled into her top bunk and get behind her. She said that Herrera told her to shut up or he would hurt her and her family before he allegedly began sexually assaulting her.
The girl’s 11-year-old brother, who was sleeping in the bunk below, woke up to his sister saying “No” and “Why are you doing this?” He sprinted out of the bedroom and alerted his parents to what was going on.
Her mother yanked her daughter out of the bed while her step-father held Herrera on the ground until police arrived. When police interviewed Herrera, he admitted he broke into the apartment but says he did not target the girl and had no idea she was in the bed he crawled into. However, officials have a hard time believing that last part.…
According to reports, Davis’ sister called DHS in August after Davis went out of town and left her two children, an 11-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, in her care. It was only then did the kids feel safe enough to tell their aunt that their mother had been torturing them for years.
After detectives interviewed the kids, they were immediately removed from their home and Kenyaita Davis was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of felony child abuse.
In a DHS report to the Denver Juvenile Court, these kids weren’t just abused; these kids were tortured. The children say they have been maced and beaten with a variety of objects, including shovels, brooms, rakes, and hammers. The boy was burned with an steam iron, and the girl’s hand is still scarred from her mother gouging it with a power drill.…
Police received a call from a man asking that police perform a welfare check at the home of Veronica Mercado. He had been unable to reach her after getting a phone call from Figueroa that made him concerned for Mercado’s safety.
When police arrived at Mercado’s apartment, they would find the front door had been forced open. Inside the kitchen they would find the bodies of Mercado and her daughter, 1-year-old Linette. Both had been shot several times and Mercado was found still holding her little girl.
Police say Mercado has two other children, but they were at school at the time of the murder. They also said they recently had contact with Mercado after Figueroa, who has a history of domestic violence, attempted to break into her apartment.
She was informed she could file a restraining order against Figueroa, but Mercado did not have the money at that time to do so.…
On Friday, a man driving down Canal Street with his wife and son witnessed Perez-Roque trying to force a terrified woman into the back of an SUV.
“I just jumped out of the car to try to stop the guy from pulling her back. As soon as I jumped out of the car he looked at me and he had her around the neck in a headlock and just wasn’t going to let her go,” said Gary Messina.
Perez-Roque only let go of the woman after Messina told him that police were on their way. The woman told the responding officers that Perez-Roque was a co-worker and that he’d kidnapped her from her home earlier that morning.
She said that as she was leaving her apartment, Perez-Roque and a younger man gagged her and put a bag over her head, telling her they would kill her on the spot if she did not cooperate.…
According to investigators, the younger siblings were playing at a playground inside Boones Mobile Park when the older brothers approached them brandishing a knife.
The older brothers allegedly carried the victims from the playground and forced them into a nearby barn where the brothers tied the victims’ hands and feet up with rope, and then threatened to burn them while waving a knife around.
We will never know if they were serious about their threats, as the brothers ran off when they heard other children outside of the barn looking for the missing siblings. The group found the brother and sister inside the barn, untied them, and then called police.
When police arrived at the scene, witnesses identified the brothers and police arrested them at their home located at the mobile home park. Both were placed in a juvenile detention facility and are now facing charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, arson, assault, reckless endangerment, burglary and trespassing.…
SPARTANBURG, SC – A couple were arrested Sunday after making repeated 911 calls to report seeing people and possums jumping out of their refrigerator and microwave.
Deputies said 32-year-old Brandon Terry and 28-year-old Casey Fowler gave the dispatcher the wrong address to their rental home, but police managed to track down the couple a few blocks away.
When asked if the couple had taken any drugs, they said they had not. They then showed the officers pictures they say proved that worms were coming out of the floor of their vehicle and pictures of “midgets and other people camouflaged.”
The officer looked at one of the photos and noted that it only showed a basketball goal and a tree. Terry informed the officer that he could not see the camouflaged midgets because on he could see him.
Field sobriety tests were conducted on the couple and both showed signs of being under the influence of drugs. Terry’s test had to be restarted at least once because Terry stopped and said the deputy was touching his eyes.…
MEADSVILLE, MO – Rachel Kinsella, 35, has been arrested for the systematic poisoning of her 9-year-old son with prescription medications.
Kinsella’s son has issues with epilepsy. With that in mind, it would not be surprising to find medications to treat epilepsy in his system. Unless, of course, he has been treated multiple times, at multiple hospitals, and has been prescribed conflicting medications by all of them.
There’s also the fact that doctors noticed that her son has been seen multiple times, since March 2014, for medication overdoses. It also doesn’t help that Missouri is the only state without a prescription database, making it impossible for doctors to know who or what prescriptions are prescribed to anyone.
Kinsella’s son, who has been with his grandparents in protective custody in January, was treated at a hospital in St Louis and at another hospital in Kansas City, 200 hundred miles away. At both hospitals, he was given medication for seizures and mental health issues.
According to prosecutor, Bob McCulloch, “The child, when he would present at the hospital in very serious condition, would get much better while he was there.…
WEATHERFORD, TX – Ashley Blades is facing a capital murder charge after the body of her newborn baby was found dead inside the trunk of her car.
On Tuesday, Blades sent a text message to her estranged husband that informed him that she’d given birth to their baby daughter and that the baby was dead. Her husband immediately called the police, asking them to do a welfare check on Blades and possibly their newborn baby.
When police arrived at Blade’s residence, she admitted to them that the body of her newborn was in the trunk of her car. Police would find a dead newborn inside a plastic bag in the trunk, wrapped in a towel.
Blades waived her right to be silent and told investigators that she gave birth Monday morning at her home and had placed her hand over her baby’s nose and mouth for a “minute or two” in order to stop her crying.
She said after that, her daughter never cried again and never “seemed the same after that point.” When Blades went to check on the baby later that evening, she found her baby dead.…
The bodies of Griffith and her son, Helious, were discovered by a nurse performing a bed check shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday. Griffith’s son had been a patient at the hospital for about a week.
“It appears that the mother for unknown reasons took the life of the child and then took her own life there in the room.” Mesa Police Detective Steve Berry said.
According to a fundraiser created by Griffith, her son suffered from Cerebral Palsy with Dystonia, has sensitivities to audio, odor, and touch, and suffers from extreme anxiety. She had been looking for help raising $1500 dollars for a vehicle, but had not gotten close to her goal.
Police say the Arizona Department of Child Safety do have an open case with the family, but that Griffith was her son’s legal guardian.
“I can tell you this family was actively involved with DCS (Arizona Department of Child Safety) and that it was an open case and that they were actively working on that as recently as two days ago,” Berry said.…
According to Detective Michael Bitsko, Dunston was playing with two other girls in the backyard of the home when the dog, named Kane, attacked her for reasons currently unknown.
Witnesses to the horrific attack said that the dog latched onto the 9-year-old’s neck and head, then began shaking her like a rag doll. A woman in the house ran out and tried to stop the attack, but called 911 when she was unable to pull the dog off Dunston.
“She tried with a broom – too weak, too scared,” said neighbor Novelette Wilson.
Police ended up fatally shooting the dog after they arrived on the scene. Officials say as they entered the backyard, the dog stopped attacking Dunston and charged towards them.
Dunston was rushed to the hospital in critical condition where she underwent surgery. Unfortunately, she would be pronounced dead a few hours later.
No one has been charged in connection to the dog attack, but the dog’s owner, 29-year-old Carlyle Arnold, was arrested at the scene on a charge of violating an order of protection.…
Singleton was home alone with his 6-year-old sister on Oct 10 when he used a handgun to shoot himself in the head. His sister then ran to get help from a neighbor, who called police.
Neighbors would report hearing the girl screaming about blood as she was rushed away from the scene.
Investigators revealed that there wasn’t anyone home supervising the two children when the shooting happened, and that the gun belonged to someone who lived in the home. A family friend said the boy’s parents told him the gun had been in a safe.
On Wednesday, the coroner ruled Singleton’s death a suicide – the youngest recorded case in Nevada since 2005. That same day, the Clark County Department of Family Services and Metro said that Singleton’s death remains under investigation and that they will talk with the district attorney’s office to decide what, if anything, happens next.…
Abel was reportedly taken from her home sometime Monday by three teens — a 14-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy — and forced into the trunk of her own car.
At around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday and hundreds of miles later, the teens stopped at a Walmart in Wood Village, Oregon and went inside a store. This is about the time Abel decided she’d had about enough of this shit, and took the opportunity to pop the car’s trunk.
After running inside the Walmart looking for help, a Walmart employee called police. When officers arrived, they spotted the three teens across the street at a gas station and took them into custody.
They are now in an Oregon juvenile detention facility facing charges of kidnapping, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and reckless endangerment.
Despite her ordeal, Abel was unharmed and returned home after being checked out by doctors.…
TOMBALL, TX – Police say 21-year-old Pedro Sanchez was shot dead by a neighbor after entering the home of 17-year-old Tyler Wade and stabbing the teen to death.
On Monday, Sanchez entered Wade’s home at around 4.pm. wearing latex gloves and carrying a baseball bat. The only people home at the time were Wade, who was upstairs taking a shower, and Wade’s 12-year-old sister.
Sanchez made his way to the upstairs bedroom where Wade was taking a shower, then used a knife to repeatedly stab the teen. Wade’s sister ran out of the house to alert a neighbor, an off-duty firefighter, who retrieved a gun before running next door.
The neighbor went upstairs and encountered a bloody Sanchez and ordered him to drop the knife he was holding. When Sanchez refused to comply and lunged at him, the neighbor dropped his ass with one shot.
The neighbor began administrating first aid to Wade, but there was nothing he could do. Wade and Sanchez were both pronounced dead at the scene.…
HOUSTON, TX – Police have arrested 38-year-old Reinaldo Rivera after he stabbed his roommate to death for taking the last piece of fried chicken.
According to reports, Rivera and four other men were drinking and fixing fried chicken inside an apartment at the Lakeside Estates when 34-year-old Darwin Gonzalez took the the last piece of chicken, a drumstick.
Rivera was not at all happy about this, and the two men began arguing over Gonzalez’ faux pas. This argument spilled out into the apartment parking lot where the two traded blows.
The fight ended when Rivera stabbed Gonzalez once with a steak knife before fleeing the scene. Police would arrive on the scene to find Gonzalez dead in the parking lot.
Rivera was arrested after returning to the scene and admitting to police that he’d stabbed Gonzalez. He’s now behind bars facing a murder charge.
“There was a single drumstick in the pan,” according to HPD Homicide Detective Fil Waters. “You can’t script this stuff. It’s someone getting killed over a piece of chicken.…
COSTA MESA, CA – Benjamin Golden, a 32-year-old senior marketing manager for Taco Bell, is out of a job and facing criminal charges after he was captured on video assaulting an Uber driver.
Last Friday night, Edward Caban picked up Golden at around 8 p.m. and immediately knew he’d made a mistake. Golden was intoxicated and uncooperative, refusing to give Caban an address to go to.
Fed up with Golden, Caban pulled into a parking lot and told Golden he needed to get out of his car.
“You’re too drunk to give me directions, man. I’m kicking you out,” Caban told Golden as the drunkenly falls over in the back seat. “Get out of my car or I will call the police.”
After arguing for a bit, Golden opens the door and appears to be leaving, but then suddenly unleashes a flurry of punches to Caban’s face and head. When Golden stops yanking on Caban’s hair to pick up the hat that had fallen of his head, Caban uses the opportunity to retaliate with some pepper spray.…
