SAINT PETERSBURG, FL — Moments after 18-year-old Malachi Heisler shot and killed a masked intruder, he realized the dead man was his estranged father.
Early Tuesday morning, Malachi said he woke up to his mother’s please for help. “I woke up to my name being called,” the teem told reporters. “I heard the words Malachi and help, that’s all I heard when I woke up.”
When he walked out of his bedroom armed with a rifle, he saw his mother being forced to the ground by a man wearing full tactical gear and ski mask. He was holding what looked to be a firearm that he first pointed at Malachi’s mother, then at the teen.
That’s when Malachi took aim and fired. He ended up hitting the intruder in the head and only then did he realize that he had just killed his estranged father, 46-year-old John Heisler.
According to Pinellas County sheriff’s reports, John Heisler smashed a window at the home at around midnight. When his ex-wife and her boyfriend went to investigate, he forced his way into the home armed with two BB guns.…
Stephen Neira, 40, thought he was doing a great thing when he decided to adopt a 2-year-old male pit bull that was about to be euthanized at the Animal Care Centers of New York City.
With only 22 minutes to spare, Neira, his wife and their three children went to the shelter to rescue the dog. After the dog, Alex, passed some behavioral tests he was deemed sociable and the Neira family were the proud owners of a new dog.
They brought Alex home, took him out for a walk and let him play in the backyard before bringing him into their house. And that’s when Alex flipped a switch.
“He ran inside, slid across the floor, turned around, saw my daughter and jumped for her throat,” Neira said.
The horrified family watched as Alex attacked 16-year-old Briana Neira, biting into her face, throat and elbow.…
On July 19, the 53-year-old Laura Stuardo was on a cruise with her boyfriend, 55-year-old Giovanni Pia. The couple had booked the cruise in an attempt to fix their broken relationship.
While the ship was docked in a Norwegian port, Stuardo fell 115 feet from the couple’s cabin balcony into the fjord below. Pia would tell investigators that Stuardo had jumped off the balcony in an attempt to kill herself.
A camera on the ship contradicted that statement a bit, as it showed Stuardo hanging from the balcony for a few seconds before falling into the water. Other passengers described hearing a loud argument coming from the couple’s room shortly before Stuardo fell.
As for Stuardo, she wasn’t saying much at the time. Not because she was dead, though. Remarkably, she survived the fall but suffered injuries to her head, lung, stomach and spleen.…

On September 7, police responded to a report of a woman not breathing at the Atria Covina, a senior and assisted living facility.
Once there, they would find Margaret Yamaguchi lying on the floor of her room suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics declared her dead at the scene.
Also in the room was the dead woman’s daughter, Rivera, who had been staying with her mother since Friday afternoon.
Rivera was arrested on suspicion of murdering her mother and is being held on more than $1 million bail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.

JEFFERSON, OH – Alesha Bell, the 18-year-old who went missing after sending her mother a text message that she was scared, has been found dead in a backyard fire pit owned by 40-year-old James Brooks.
On July 23rd, Alesha Bell left her home on foot to visit a nearby relative. She never made it there. The following morning, her mother received a text from her daughter that read: “Mom, if I make it home, I need you. I’m scared.”
Bell’s mother said a short time later, she received another text from Bell’s phone stating she was with an unknown person from Columbus. She then started getting texts from her daughter’s phone that she knew were not from her daughter because of the grammar and punctuation used.
When anyone tried calling Bell, the calls started going straight to voicemail and Bell was never heard from again. After reporting her missing, investigators would link Bell to James Brooks, a man who says he ran an escort service from May 2014 to May 2015.…
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two high school football players have been suspended from school and the football team after they deliberately tackled a referee during a game.
With only minutes left in the game Friday night, John Jay High School’s football team were losing 15-9 against Marble Falls.
At the start of a play, video shows a defensive back run 7 yards to slam into the back of a referee who was watching a play almost 10 yards in front of him. After the referee falls to the ground, another player standing a few yards to the right rams into the fallen referee with his helmet.
Both players were ejected from the game and, according to according to Marble Falls coach Matt Green, their actions may have stemmed from two of their teammates being ejected on separate plays earlier. Green said he does not believe their coach, Gary Gutierrez, condoned their behavior and that he later apologized for the incident.
“I’ve coached 14 years and I’ve never seen anything like it,” Green said.…
According to Sgt. Brian Schellman, the teen and an accomplice tried to get inside a home where the young boy had been left alone with his 4-year-old sister. However, the third time they tried entering the home would be their last.
As the unnamed teen entered an unlocked front door, the 11-year-old used a firearm to shoot the teen once in the head, killing him. When police arrived, they found the teen lying inside the front foyer.
His accomplice ran off after hearing the shot, but were later picked up by police. One neighbor said she doesn’t believe the full truth is being told. She said the two boys were arguing on the front porch of the home when the 11-year-old took out a gun and fired.
“He was always was just sitting right there on the porch,” she said. “He never did once go inside the house.”
No word on why the boy had been left alone in the home to care for his younger sister, but police say the gun he used belonged to his mother.…
JACKSONVILLE, FL – Police have arrested 14-year-old Mitchell Daughtry after they say he stabbed his mother to death before stealing the family car and trying to commit suicide.
On the day she was murdered, 52-year-old Pamela Daughtry sent texts to her older daughter asking her to come home and talk to her brother because he was angry.
She did not see the text until an hour later and by time she got home, it was too late. She walked into the home to find her mother had been stabbed to death and that her brother had taken items from a safe before leaving in their mother’s 2007 Volvo.
That night, Daughtry started sending out texts to friends and family, admitting what he’d done. Police would locate him five miles away in South Florida after he had taken pills in a botched suicide attempt.
Daughtry was initially taken into custody under a state law allowing for the detainment of those suspected to be mentally ill. After a short stay in a mental health facility, Daughtry was transferred to Duval County jail on second-degree murder charges.…
BRISTOL, TN – Robert Denton, 19, has been accused of ambushing his family then fatally shooting his mother, stepfather and grandmother as six children watched.
Police say that on Saturday evening, Denton walked into his home armed with 100 rounds of ammunition and dressed clad in camouflage clothing.
While six children in the home looked on, Denton shot his mother, stepfather and grandmother. A neighbor said he heard a barrage of 10 to 12 gunshots and screaming that lasted less than a minute.
“It was just a barrage of ‘pow, pow, pow,” said Darrel Gray. “We heard somebody. They said, ‘Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.'”
After he was finished, Denton walked outside and laid down his gun. He then walked to a nearby trailer where his grandfather, Curtis Rose, was doing some repairs. Denton told the man, who hadn’t heard the gunshots over the noise of the power tools he was using, he needed to call 911.
Rose immediately went into the home where he found his family had been shot. He moved the children into another room, grabbed a pistol, and took off after his grandson.…
TEXAS – Monica Foy, the idiot who got her 15 minutes of fame earlier this week after Tweeting the cop who was executed in Texas deserved to be killed, has now been arrested on a 2011 assault charge.
On Friday, a man with a long history of mental illness and arrests walked up to Harris County Deputy Darren Goforth and shot him from behind as he pumped gas into his patrol car, then emptied the gun as the man fell to the ground.
As you would expect, idiots from both sides of the Black Lives Matter movement came out in force to echo their opinions. Some of them were to be expected as certain people try to make a living at being as inflammatory as possible, or just love trolling whoever is on the other side of their fence.
But one of these people was Monica Foy, an English major at Sam Houston State University, a university that has one of the top law enforcement schools in the state.
On Tuesday, she tweeted out this gem in which she implied Goforth deserved to be killed and had “creepy perv eyes”:
As you can imagine, she was met with a bit of backlash.…
FORT WORTH, TX – The 11-year-old boy who beat a neighbor’s small dog to death with a stick last May, has been sentenced to 18 months of probation.
According to police, the boy chased the 15-pound Cavalier mix, Cookie, out of its backyard and cornered it on a porch. He then used a stick to beat the animal to death.
Police would charge the boy with animal cruelty after an autopsy report revealed that the dog died from a fractured spine and severed spine, the result of many blows to the body.
When police talked to the boy and his parents, they said that Cookie attacked their son and he was only defending himself. The dog’s owner disputed that, claiming Cookie was not an aggressive dog. A neighbor would come forward stating that before Cookie was found dead, they’d witnessed the boy chasing the dog under a parked vehicle.
Despite the self-defense claim, the boy entered a guilty plea to animal cruelty charges last month. A judge then ordered a series of psychological and behavioral examinations.…
HOUSTON, TX — Police say 19-year-old Deleon Smith accidentally killed himself taking selfies while holding a gun.
The incident happened in an apartment on Tuesday as Smith and a cousin were taking pictures of themselves holding a gun they found, then posting the pics to social media.
While his cousin was in another room, Smith accidentally fired the gun while taking a selfie and shot himself in the throat. Police say they do not suspect foul play and have taken his cell phone as part of their investigation.
“It’s like still unbelievable,” said Smith’s grandmother. “Yesterday was my birthday. He came to wish me a happy birthday. And then to hear this kind of news. He was starting community college tomorrow.”
I would say that this young man was a perfect Darwin Award nominee, but he had two daughters, ages one and three.
Not surprisingly, Smith isn’t the only person on D’D to die while taking selfies. Last year, Oscar Otero Aguilar died after accidentally shooting himself in the head while posing with a gun for a Facebook picture.…
BALTIMORE, MD – Jonathan Fleming is facing some serious charges after the 17-year-old was accused of raping a 9-year-old family friend at the Maryland State Fairgrounds – a girl he has allegedly been sexually abusing since she was 3-years-old.
Police said that Fleming’s family and the girl’s family were together at the Maryland State Fair when a concerned farmer notified the girl’s father that he saw Fleming doing something inappropriate with the girl inside the Swine Barn.
“There was a farmer there that actually saw him buckling up his pants and approached the two of them,” Baltimore County Police Officer Shawn Vincent. “When the boy saw that he was being approached, he left with the young girl.”
The girl’s parents called police who interviewed the girl. She told police that Fleming touched her inappropriately and then took her to a slide barn where he forced her to perform various sex acts, including intercourse. But that’s not the worst of it. According to the girl, Fleming has been sexually abusing her since she was three; forcing her to engage in sex acts several time a year at various fairs in Maryland and elsewhere.…

Police were called after one someone found the body of an infant inside Colantonio’s apartment. Police have not released how the child died, but say there is evidence that the newborn suffered “an intentional death.”
They say they will know more once the medical examiner determines the infant’s official cause of death.

HERE, NOW – Thanks to everyone who has donated to the site for the last several days, whether that be through the fundraiser link or straight to Paypal.
For those of you who may be new to the site, I started this shit show back in 2004 as a place for members of other horror forums I belonged to. It was created so that controversial topics could be discussed without any form of moderation.
One of the more popular forums we had at the time was called Reality Bites, a forum I used to post any horrible news articles I ran across. When I revamped the site in 2007, I decided to focus on this topic as I am a morbid son-of-a-bitch and fascinated with criminal behavior. If you want a good chuckle, here is what the site looked like at one time.
Little did I know that I would still be running this place eight years and 4703 articles later. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs over the years, including site wipes, personnel and member conflicts, a few mass site exoduses, death threats, legal threats and a host of other weird things directly related to our forums.…

LUFKIN, TX — Police have charged 17-year-old Bobby Woods with the murder of his girlfriend’s 3-year-old nephew after they say he purposely pushed the boy in a pond so the little boy would drown.
Last Monday, the family of Mason Cuttler called police to report the boy was missing from his home. Cuttler lived with his aunt and her boyfriend, Bobby Woods, and was last seen outside of the home playing with toys while his family cleaned house.
After an extensive search, the little boy’s body was found floating in a pond behind his home. At the time, Cuttler’s biological father didn’t understand how his son could have fallen into the pond.
“It’s hard to go by that pond,” Kevin Cuttler said. “I walked over there about three, four times already trying to figure out how in the heck did he get up in there?”
After an investigation into the circumstances behind the boy’s drowning, police would be able to answer that question. Turns out Woods had performed some of his own brand of house cleaning.…

On June 29, Sievers left her husband and two daughters at a Connecticut gathering and returned home. The next day she was found dead inside her home.

Investigators have kept pretty tight-lipped regarding their investigation until now, revealing they have arrested two men from Missouri in connection with the woman’s murder.
