Man Accused Of Using Craigslist To Trick Men Into Raping His Wife
July 18, 2012 at 8:47 pm by Morbid
TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Justin Crawford has admitted to using Craigslist to solicit men to rape his wife without her knowledge or consent. The 32-year-old has been accused of posting ads in Craigslist’s Casual Encounters section, posing as a woman wanting to fulfill her rape fantasies.
According to reports, Crawford would then engage in conversations with the men who answered the ads, arranging the time and place that “she” wanted the men to come over and rape her. Surprisingly, two men showed up to the home on two separate occasions.
The first man showed up a little after midnight Friday while Crawford was away working for the Army National Guard. When his wife answered the door, a man asked her name and then used the line I like to use on random women when I feel like getting maced. “I’m here for you,” the man said before forcing his way into the home.
The guy was probably enjoying himself at first, thinking this woman really wanted this to be as realistic as possible as he chased her around the house.…

Jersey City, NJ – A man in New Jersey has been accused of raping a teen after tricking her into thinking she was getting a job at Victoria’s Secret and having her sign a sex contract.
Police say 33-year-old Gregory John Schaffer saw an ad in Craigslist posted by a 15-year-old girl looking for a summer job. He contacted her and told her that he owned several Victoria’s Secret stores and wanted to conduct an interview.
After he received a photo of the teen, he arranged for her to meet him at his office inside a building he shared with a bail bondsman and a disbarred lawyer. The girl arrived with a friend but was interviewed by Schaffer behind a closed door. Afterwards he informed her that she got the job and to return alone the next day prepared to work.
She arrived the next day and Schaffer handed her some papers to sign, explaining they were an employment contract and confidentiality agreement. After she signed them both without reading, Schaffer explained that what she had really signed was a sex contract.…

Washington, DC – After writing all the details regarding the woman who finger bangs 5-year-old girls, I searched for a bit of brain bleach and ran across a story about a man who took the law into his own hands after he found his stolen bicycle for sale on Craigslist.
Danny Lesh said that he purchased his Cannondale hybrid for $600 in 1998 and that it was stolen last week after he loaned it a friend. The friend secured the bike with a cable lock and thief relieved Lesh’s friend of his bike with a pair of bolt cutters. Shortly after, Lesh scoured Craigslist and found his bicycle for sale for $100. He identified his bike by a distinctive sticker and custom pedals.
He contacted police for help, but a stolen bike wasn’t on their list of priorities and they informed Lesh they would not be able to assist him right away. Fearing the bike would be quickly purchased at such a low selling price, Lesh hatched an elaborate plan to get his bike back.…

Salt Lake City, UT - A Utah man has been charged after being accused by police of extorting sexual favors and money from an engaged, male Brigham Young University student whom he met on Craigslist.
Provo police say Brad Ray Adams, 36, met the unnamed 21-year-old BYU student Feb. 22 on Craigslist and the student subsequently sent him sexually explicit pictures. According to the police report, the two men also had consensual sex, which Adams videotaped without the student’s knowledge.
According to Provo police, when the student told Adams he didn’t want to continue the relationship, Adams reportedly demanded $260 to destroy the video and pictures. If the student refused, Adams said he would release the pictures and video to BYU officials, the student’s family members, fiance, and LDS religious leaders.
The threat of disclosure to BYU officials may have been seen as particularly troublesome as BYU students are bound by a strict honor code that prohibits students from having pre-marital sex. Although the honor code doesn’t specifically address their male students taking the sausage from men who look like pug dogs, it is presumed that this particular activity would also be met by BYU officials with disdain.…

February 29, 2012 at 8:43 am by Morbid
Phoenix, AZ - A husband, his wife, and her lover have all been charged with conspiracy to commit bestiality after they used Craigslist to find a dog for the wife to have sex with.
The couple, 39-year-old Shane Walker and 34-year-old Sarah Dae Walker, describe themselves as swingers in an open marriage. When Sarah told her lover of about a month, 30-year-old Robert Aucker, that she wanted to have sex with a dog while he and her husband watched, the trio turned to Craigslist’s classifieds.
They eventually found someone who had a golden shepherd they would allow Sarah to have sex with and emailed the dog’s owner for three weeks to set up the meat and greet. What they didn’t know was that the dog’s owner had no intentions of letting Sarah try out his dog’s lipstick. He was actually an undercover officer.
Sarah, Shane and Robert were arrested after driving to the arranged location where the sexual encounter was to take place. Police say that before the trio were informed they had been set up, they had offered the undercover detective the opportunity to take part.…

Kirkland, NY — Jonathan R. Obernesser, 39, was arrested after the physical attention he gave to a late night teenaged visitor to his home – facilitated through Craigslist – was poorly received.
Police say that Obernesser placed a personal advertisement on Craigslist which was responded to by a 19-year-old woman. This led to her going to Obernesser’s residence. While there, the woman told police that, after Obernesser gave her an alcoholic beverage, he began inappropriately touching her. She told police that she repeatedly told him to stop. She was then able to call a friend who reported the incident to police.
Jonathan R. Obernesser, 39, was charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor, and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage to a person under the age of 21, a violation under the state alcoholic beverage control law, police said. Obernesser was remanded to county jail on $1,000 cash bond.
The ‘prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage’ charge suggests to me that there may have been something more going on here. Regardless, this incident is a good basis for a much needed warning:
If you choose to make contact through Craigslist with an unknown individual who could, quite possibly, be a murderer, rapist, or sadistic torturer; to go to their home unarmed, alone, and late at night; and then choose to drink alcohol with them… please be sure to be cautious and rely on your good judgement.…

February 8, 2012 at 8:16 am by kniption
Houston, TX - An unwitting victim was relieved of almost $6000 after finding the car of his dreams – a 2011 Nissan Altima – on Craigslist.
“The car was seen on Craigslist by the victim. [He] made a meet with the suspects and looked at the vehicle and decided to buy it,” said Deputy Thomas Gilliland with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said that, on January 16, the victim took the car for a test drive and then handed over $5,940 in cash to buy the car. According to deputies, he was given a title for the vehicle and left.
When the buyer tried to obtain license plates for his new vehicle, he was told that the title he received from seller “Marcus Hertz” was forged and that the car was actually a stolen Hertz rental car. A subsequent investigation would reportedly establish that the men who sold the car were, in fact, Brandon Wilson (pictured) and Bradley Eugene Rhodes, both 26.
It turns out that the Altima had been rented by Wilson back in November.…

Houston, TX — Police say a man who offered his babysitting services on Craigslist has been charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a 6-year-old girl in his care.
The child’s mother, in need of an overnight babysitter for her three children, reportedly went to Craigslist, clicked on the child care tab and ultimately decided to hire 32-year-old Steven Knox.
Knox had apparently cared for the woman’s children without incident for a period of several months. But on June 23, the woman’s 6-year-old daughter came home after two nights with Knox and accused him of touching her inappropriately.
According to court documents, the child’s mother called police after learning Knox had digitally raped her daughter. The child would tell police Knox “put his finger in her private area four times,” and that he had put “ice” on his finger and the penetration “burned.” An examination showed that the girl had a 3-millimeter tear on her vagina.
Knox was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14 and later released after posting $30,000 bond.…

Colorado Springs, CO — Kevin Gaylor, 24, found himself in an unenviable position early Wednesday morning after allegedly phoning in a false burglary report to cover up his infidelity.
Gaylor apparently called 911 just after 3:00 that morning to report that someone was trying to knock down his front door. What’s more, he told police the alleged burglar was armed.
Five officers were dispatched to his home, lights and sirens blaring. They immediately made contact with said burglar and detained her for questioning. It was right about then that the proverbial shit hit the fan…
Seems Mr. Gaylor recently met this woman on Craigslist and invited her to his home. Unfortunately, the douche’s live-in girlfriend unexpectedly appeared, wrecking his planned rendezvous. When the “other woman” arrived and knocked on the door, Gaylor panicked and called the police in order to convince his girlfriend that the strange woman knocking on their door was a burglar and not his booty call.
I have to assume this man is extremely good looking, somewhat rich, or very well-hung…I’d hate to think these ladies were attracted to him for his intelligence.…

August 25, 2011 at 9:22 am by Morbid
NEWBERG, Ore. – Police have arrested a 50-year-old man after they found him and a 15-year-old boy lying naked in a sleeping bag.
Police say they were contacted by three kids early Wednesday morning, saying that they witnessed a naked man in a sleeping bag with another person on the fields of an elementary school.
When an officer went to Edwards Elementary School check things out, he found 50-year-old Robert Charles Kenneth in the school’s field, lying naked in a sleeping bag with the naked teen.
Kenneth told police he met the boy on Craigslist and that the meeting was consensual. He said that he had communicated with the boy via email and phone on several occasions over the last the two months.
Kenneth was arrested and charged with sex abuse, public indecency, attempted sodomy and rape charges. He also faces drug charges after police found a small amount of marijuana and methamphetamine.
I don’t know what is more disturbing about this story… the fact that Kenneth was found naked with a consensual 15-year-old, or that his mugshot looks like some of that 15-year-old is dribbling down his chin.…

Norman, Oklahoma — Jonathan Mark Smith of Moore, Oklahoma was arrested after allegedly allowing a stranger to fondle his 6-year-old, autistic son while he watched.
Police say Smith listed an ad for oral sex on Craigslist. Whether he actually offered his son in the ad is unclear at this point. Teddy Dean Davis is accused of showing up at Smith’s door back in January in response to the advertisement and asking to see the 6-year-old boy.
According to police, Smith’s children were asleep and his wife was at work when Davis arrived. The police report goes on to say that Smith led Davis to the boy’s room and allowed him to fondle the boy. Court papers allege Smith stayed in the room while watching the molestation and masturbating.
You didn’t want to get through this without a strong visual, did you?
It was not reported how police found out about the alleged molestation. Smith and Davis were both arrested this month.
Smith and Davis were both charged with lewd molestation and indecent proposal to a child.…

San Diego, CA – A teenager was shot to death after responding to a fake ad posted on Craigslist.
When 18-year-old Garrett Berki and his girlfriend arrived at a location to purchase an item they saw for sale on Craigslist, they found out that the three 17-year-old black males they met weren’t selling anything at all. They had lured Berki to the location to rob him and his girlfriend of their cash and cell phones before jumping in a car and taking off.
Maybe he was just too pissed to think clearly, or maybe his ego clouded his judgement, but for whatever reason Berki made a fatal mistake when he began following the robbers in order to get their license plate number. When Berki followed the teens into a cul-de-sac, he was fired upon after the their car passed each other. Berki was struck and would later die at the hospital.
After shooting Berki, the three teens fled on foot after they crashed their car, but were apprehended shortly after with the help of air and canine units.…

Phoenix, AZ – 47-year-old Keith Kiefer, an unemployed handyman, and Patrick Trejo, a 25-year-old music teacher at Raul Castro Middle School, are each charged with conspiring to have bestial-sexual contact with an animal after both got stung in an online dog-sexin’ type sting.
According to authorities, both men were trolling Craigslist in search of some man on beast action. Trejo’s ad allegedly read, “Hit me up if you have a pup to play with.” He was searching for someone interested in a little “K-9 play.” And Kiefer’s ad? He was reportedly seeking “beasty worship of the kinky kind.” Kiefer also requested pictures of the canine’s genitals, which he said he “liked very much.” And I just threw up a little in my mouth…

Police: Woman Held As Sex Slave After Responding To Craigslist Ad
February 16, 2011 at 3:17 am by Wanderer
Brooklyn, New York — A 27-year-old Wisconsin woman told police she answered an apartment ad she saw on Craigslist and wound up being held captive as a sex slave in Brooklyn for more than a week.
According to police, 45-year-old John Hopkins told the woman that if she cooked and cleaned for him, she could stay in his East Williamsburg apartment for free. He even offered to buy her a one-way plane ticket from Wisconsin to JFK Airport. It was a done deal.
This too-good-to-be-true offer ended up coming with a much higher price tag once she actually arrived at the apartment on February 4. It was then that Hopkins reportedly informed the woman that she was going to be his slave. The victim told law enforcement officials that Hopkins blindfolded her, gagged her and handcuffed her to the radiator before beating and repeatedly raping her.
Police say Hopkins forced the woman to call him “master” and let her leave only to go to work. She apparently had a job as a chef at a restaurant, and was allowed to leave the residence on at least one occasion, but returned.…

January 20, 2011 at 11:49 am by WandererCleveland, Ohio — Robert Bonness is a retired police officer who apparently thinks the law doesn’t apply to him. He pleaded guilty on Wednesday to attempted rape and 24 other counts related to his collection of child pornography.
Police say Bonness responded to an advertisement posted on Craigslist for a father and daughter interested in a special person. For two months this pervert allegedly communicated with an undercover detective he thought was the father of a 12-year-old girl and arranged to meet them in North Olmsted in late October to have sex with the girl. When Bonness arrived, a search of his car turned up condoms, lubricant and sex toys. His home computer reportedly revealed hundreds of videos and photos of child pornography. After serving as a patrolman for 23 years, I’m surprised Bonness didn’t see this sting coming. It just goes to show how strong his urge was.
I know how much prison inmates love cops… and knowing that they love sex offenders, especially the kiddie kind, even more, I was really looking forward to a nice prison sentence for this guy.…

January 19, 2011 at 6:46 am by WandererChicago, Illinois – A physician from RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago has been suspended from his job because of the pending investigation resulting from his January 13th arrest. Police say 37-year-old Joshua Baron attempted to trade prescription medication for sexual favors on Craigslist.
An investigator noticed the ad the week before the arrest. “We routinely check Craigslist for anything that could be criminally related to Wilmette, whether it’s property crime, drugs, etc.,” Detective Kyle Murphy said. Baron is a pediatric neurologist at Rush, specializing in epilepsy. “He is being suspended pending further investigation,” said Deb Song, Rush spokeswoman. “He won’t be allowed on campus or allowed to see or admit patients here.”
During the Craigslist correspondence, Baron attempted to trade prescription medication for sex acts. He then traveled to Wilmette to make the exchange. Baron was arrested at a private residence in Wilmette and charged with felony attempt delivery of a controlled substance and misdemeanor solicitation of a sex act. His bond was set at $2,000.

September 20, 2010 at 2:02 pm by MorbidBOISE, Idaho — Two men accused of using Craigslist to rob a man earlier in the month have been apprehended after attempting to pull the stunt on a County Sheriff. Dominic Hinton, 20, and Roman Nazarko, 19, have been accused of robbing a man who thought he was meeting the pair to buy an iPad they had advertised on Craigslist. Instead, after showing up at the designated meeting spot, he was robbed of his money at gunpoint. The duo tried a second time, this time advertising an Apple laptop for sale. Too bad for them that Sheriff Gary Raney was in the market for one. Raney became suspicious after the seller tried to change their meeting spot from a gated community to a darkened parking lot. He called police and notified them that he may be getting robbed. When he arrived at the new address, he saw the seller sitting on a rock dressed like an evil ninja. Police were there in no time, and the seller attempted to flee the scene, but he and his accomplice were apprehended.…
Continue ReadingSheriff: More Than A Dozen ‘Disgusting’ Men Arrested In Sex Sting
August 17, 2010 at 11:42 am by MorbidORLANDO, Fla. — The Polk County Sheriff’s office performed a sex sting, posing as women who were looking for men on Craigslist to have sex with them and their underage children. During the four-day operation, police snagged 15 men as they each showed up at a home under the understanding that they would be having sex with children from the ages of 8 to 14. The men’s ages ranged from 18 to 67 and what they expected to find at the home was pretty disgusting. The 67-year-old man was quoted as saying, “This is what I’ve waited a lifetime for. The opportunity to have sex with a 14-year-old girl and her mother.” One man brought candy for a 13-year-old girl who was to perform gymnastics in the nude. “This group of folks were as disgusting as any group we’ve arrested,” sheriff Grady Judd said. And who they snared in their sting was also a shock to some. Married men with children, a little league coach who coached the son of one of the arresting officers and a local hero.…

August 16, 2010 at 10:18 am by MorbidBoston - Philip Markoff, the man awaiting trial for the murder of model Julissa Brisman, was found dead in his cell on Sunday morning. An autopsy is scheduled, but the self-inflicted cuts and the bag over his head have investigators feeling pretty confident the coward took his own life. The 24-year-old former medical student, deemed the Craigslist killer by the press, was charged with the robbery and murder of 25-year-old Brisman at the Copley Marriott Hotel back in April ’09. She died from blunt force trauma to the head and three gunshots fired at close range. Markoff earned his nickname by allegedly using the online service as a means to find victims, usually women advertising dance or masseuse services. I feel for the Brisman as not only did Markoff take a loved one from them, he also denied them a chance to confront him in court where chances were pretty high he would be found guilty. Aside from being charged for three other similar robberies, he had panties and restraints hidden in his box spring and a gun stashed in a hollowed-out copy of his “Gray’s Anatomy” textbook.…
