COLUMBUS, GA – Police have arrested a pediatrician in Georgia, charging him with possessing child pornography.
Dr. Yancy Craft, 41, was arrested and charged with possession and receipt of child pornography after getting snagged in an interstate child pornography sting. He originally flew into the FBI Memphis Crimes Against Children Task Force’s radar, but they had to transfer their case to Columbus officials after Craft relocated there.
Yesterday a U.S. Magistrate Judge allowed Craft to be released on recognizance bond, but he is required to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet, have no unsupervised supervision with anyone under 18, not have a firearm and be subject to home confinement from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Before moving to Columbus, Craft, who also goes by the name Travis Mobley, was a practicing pediatrician in Tennessee and Arkansas.
Great. Parents are already paranoid about Boy Scout leaders and Catholic priests, now they gotta worry about pediatricians getting boners while giving their kid a checkup.…

BOSTON — A University of Utah professor was arrested on Saturday after being accused of watching child porn on his laptop while on a Delta flight from Utah to Boston.
A passenger sitting behind 47-year-old Grant D. Smith, a professor of material science and engineering, witnessed Smith watching the alleged child porn and took a picture of him with their cell phone while also notifying the flight crew.
Once the plane landed at Boston Logan International Airport, police were waiting for Smith and asked to see his laptop. After a bit of searching, police say they discovered “disturbing images of child pornography.”
Smith was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. Instead of attending a conference for the Material Research Society, the father of two was placed in jail on a $15,000 bond and was still there as of this morning. The university has placed him on administrative leave, stating he would be fired if the allegations turned out to be true.
If the accusations are true, and Smith was watching child porn on a laptop while in the first class section of a Delta airplane, then he’s definitely one of the dumber criminals we have ever posted about on this site.…

Orlando, FL — The stylish gent to the left is 33-year-old Robert Walker – he was jailed earlier this week after police found more than 500 pornographic images on his computer depicting graphic sexual acts involving children – infants included.
The investigation into Walker’s online activities began back in August. Police finally seized and searched his computer in late October, and that ultimately led to his arrest on Wednesday.
When questioned about the images, Walker reportedly tried to pin the blame on his 13- and 15-year-old children. Police, however, called bullshit when a forensic review determined that Walker’s profile was in use “on several personal programs” while the nasty files were being downloaded.
Walker was still behind bars yesterday, facing multiple child-pornography charges. A bail amount has not yet been made available.…

Attleboro, MA – A 41-year old Massachusetts mother has been arrested for allegedly forcing her 10-year-old daughter to pose nude on webcam in the preposterous hopes of winning a $20,000 mother-daughter bikini photo shoot.
Ann Lussier reportedly made her daughter strip down to her bra and underwear – and then get completely naked – while a man who identified himself as a Florida-based photographer watched her over Skype. The woman and her daughter were unable to see the photographer because, according to his claim, ‘his camera was broken.’
According to court documents, Lussier complained to her twin sister about the incident and how “uncooperative” her daughter was during the nude broadcast. The charging document also stated the aunt heard her niece crying in the background. The sister, who presumably ended up with all of the brains in their shared womb, contacted authorities. The resulting month-long investigation led to the arrest of the man allegedly on the other end of the camera – Joshua Dunfee of Oxford Junction, Iowa. That would be the Iowa that is in Florida, of course…

Boston, MA – Thomas Hutchinson, 19, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts was indicted on child rape and child pornography charges after being accused of blackmailing an underage girl into performing sexual acts using a series of fake online identities.
It was reported that early this year, a 15-year-old girl using the social networking website MyYearbook.com was contacted by individual calling herself “Brittany.” “Brittany” reportedly offered to help the victim get into modeling if the victim was interested. According to police, after the victim agreed, a second online persona using the screen name Sexybeast5655@aim.com contacted her. “Sexybeast” claimed to be in the modeling industry.
“Sexybeast” – with full knowledge of the victim’s age – asked the victim to send pictures of herself in bathing suits and various clothing. After a series of message exchanges, “Sexybeast5655″ reportedly asked the victim to send naked pictures and videos.
Police reported that, after the victim had provided the pictures and videos, “Sexybeast” threatened to post them online if the teen didn’t have sex with a “friend.” The victim was also threatened with rape if she refused or told police.…

Plano, TX – The executive pastry chef at Dallas’ Ritz-Carlton hotel, who was also a finalist in Bravo’s Top Chef: Just Deserts last year, has been arrested for child pornography.
The indictment says 38-year-old Morgan Wilson downloaded and viewed child porn on his computer that involved children, ranging in age from 2 to 10, engaged in explicit sex acts.
He got busted because, thank God, he’s one of those idiots who gets their child porn off of Limewire. A law enforcement officer downloaded three videos from Wilson before his apartment was raided.
Wilson, a divorced father of a 7-year-old boy, admitted to downloading and viewing the videos. He was charged with three second-degree felony charges of possession with intent to promote child pornography. He was released on $10,000 bail and will be back to face a judge on Oct 27.…

The hackitivst group Anonymous are claiming to have taken down over 40 child pornography websites. going as far as posting one site’s list of over 1,500 members.
I’m not going to get into the technical details of what Anonymous did because it is too early in the morning. Besides, they have posted a timeline of events as well as a handful of related documents over on Pastebin you can peruse.
I found the documents to be as entertaining as they were interesting and informative. The chat log between Anonymous members and the supposed owner of a server that hosted child porn was particularly humorous.
But basically, Anonymous hacked a child porn site, Lolita City, and released the site’s list of over 1500 members, including usernames, how long they have been active on the site and how many images they have shared. They are also claiming to have learned the identities of some of the people on the list and have invited the FBI to contact them if they wanted the details.
They also focused their attention towards Freedom Hosting when they found that over 40 sites that host and distribute child porn were using one of their shared servers.…

Wheatland, MO — An Overland Park, KS., man was arrested in Missouri late last month after allegedly trying to lure three young girls into his company van.
According to police, 55-year-old Richard Gibisas told the girls to get inside the van he was driving, a van with the words “Broadway Equipment” written on it, when he saw them playing outside. The girls, ages 7, 10 and 12, told police Gibisas got out of the van and told them he was “going to get them.” The girls ran into a nearby house for help.
As an adult from inside the home approached Gibisas, he slammed the door and began backing out of the driveway. The man knocked on the van’s window, but Gibisas just looked at him and drove away.
Police caught up with the alleged perv about 10 miles down the road. Inside the van, police found duct tape, rubber gloves, three Hustler magazines, binoculars and baby oil.
Gibisas denied the allegations, claiming he had no idea what those girls were talking about…he never said a word to them.…

Ottawa police who arrived that day later testified that, in a curtained off area in the unfinished basement of Osborn’s townhouse – described as ‘derelict,’ they found: a ‘filthy brown’ chair with a naked Barbie doll wired to one arm; a television, DVD player, and VCR stacked high with cassettes and DVDs; marijuana; collages of naked children, stocking feet and bestiality; pictures of Osborn wearing women’s stockings and exposing himself; a pink – but otherwise unidentified – sex toy; and a Cabbage Patch-style doll head.
It is worth noting that this was not simply a Cabbage Patch doll head, but, rather, a Cabbage patch doll head with modifications. The doll’s mouth had reportedly been cut into a wider hole. SUTHERLIN, Ore. – How I wish all pedophiles were as dumb as Jason Daniel Goodman. The 33-year-old was arrested after his lost iPod was recovered and found with child porn loaded on it.
Back in October of last year, some employees at a Shell gas station found an iPod and kept it at the store in case the owner came back for it. By February of this year no one had claimed it so the device was taken home by one of the employees.
He called police after he charged the device and was greeted by 1,400 pornographic images that included some with children as young as 6-years-old. The Oregon State Police Crime Lab was able to pinpoint Goodman as the owner of the device when it was accidentally left at the gas station.
Goodman was arrested on Tuesday and charged with encouraging child sex abuse and possession of child porn and placed in jail on $200,000 bail.…

But for Shawn Joseph McCormack, a man accused of videotaping himself raping a baby then distributing the video over the Internet, I’m making an exception. It all started with a video recovered on the other side of the country during a November 2010 child porn bust in Boston. The video starts with an 11-month-old lying on his back on a hotel bed. His legs are raised and his hands are bound to his legs by electrical tape. At approximately 3 minutes an adult male covers the child’s mouth with his hand and the child’s muffled cries can be heard.

Alpharetta, GA — Dirk LaPaglia, 53, is facing child pornography charges after authorities say he snapped hundreds of photos of a couple dozen neighborhood children, then superimposed their faces over pornographic images.
LaPaglia apparently collected the photos over the course of several years by acting as the neighborhood photographer and volunteering to photograph neighborhood functions such as swim meets, baseball games, school dances, etc. After that, it was all about the cuttin’ and pastin’.
“LaPaglia would crop the head, the upper torso of these girls and paste them onto pornographic images, creating his own pornographic images,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Mcburney. “We have evidence the images moved between his work computer and home computer but no evidence of distribution.”
The images, according to investigators, were pasted onto adult pornography and child pornography.
Police first made contact with LaPaglia back in April, when they arrested him on suspicion of stalking. Police say he mailed several anonymous packages containing suggestive letters and explicit photos to residents and at least one minor child in the area.…

Washington – First the good news. Federal law enforcement officials announced they’ve busted up a child pornography ring, based in the United States, that spanned across five continents and 14 countries. They’ve also charged 72 people who were part of a pedophile website called Dreamboard.
Now the bad news. Federal law enforcement officials released some extremely sickening details regarding this website and what the members of the site were doing. Fair warning, some of the below info is pretty disturbing…and that’s coming from me.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement began ”Operation Delego” in 2009 and became focused on the private message board of more than 500 members whose purpose was to manufacture and distribute child porn. ”Dreamboard was a self-described global ‘community’ of pedophiles dedicated to the relentless victimization and exploitation of children 12 and under,” Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer said in a statement.
For obvious reasons, membership to the site was tightly controlled by the administrators who required prospective members to upload child pornography portraying children 12 years of age or younger when applying for membership. Palm Springs, CA — Joel Bradley Simpson, 35, had failed to appear in court Tuesday for a settlement conference regarding charges of his possessing child pornography and performing sex acts on an animal. A bench warrant was to be issued for him but, before it was processed, Simpson had already been arrested by Palm Springs police after drawing attention to himself at a local Starbucks for wonky behavior. Go figure.
In court Friday, Simpson pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of possessing controlled substances and misdemeanor charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, a hypodermic syringe and being under the influence of controlled substances. Those are the Starbucks-related offenses. That child porn and bestiality stuff is a whole different issue.
According to Palm Springs police, Simpson was originally arrested June 16 after a tipster told police Simpson had child pornography in his home.
“A search warrant was served at Simpson’s residence, and he was found to be in possession of several disturbing video and photograph files of child pornography,” a police spokesperson said.…

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have charged two 11-year-olds with sexual exploitation of a minor after images of two younger children forced to engage in sex acts were found on a cell phone.
Police have been investigating this disturbing incident since April after a mother found pictures on her 11-year-old daughter’s cell phone depicting her 5-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old boy engaged in sexual activity.
Police say they recovered over 21 pictures off the cell phone clearly showing the children’s genitals as well as pictures of the two children being forced to perform sex acts on each other.
Dr. Dan Biber, a psychologist, said the 11-year-olds may have been influenced by sexual images that are prevalent in today’s society (*insert dismissive wanking motions here*), or they may have been victims themselves.
Sorry for wanking on a portion of Dr. Biber’s comment but I just couldn’t help myself. I know that some AP study conducted a few years back shows that the age of sexual offenders have been getting lower over the last 20 years, but I have to side with the people who say this not because of a trend or epidemic, but rather stricter laws, better reporting and more awareness.…

New York, NY -- A whopping 26 people have been arrested on child porn charges in New York City in connection to a massive operation involving several law enforcement agencies.
The Manhattan DA’s Office of Cybercrime and Identity Theft Bureau, with help from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations Child Exploitation Group, used special technology to observe transactions made on peer-to-peer networks. Before any of you go spouting off about Big Brother, let’s take a look at how close some of these people were to children, and just how extensive and horrifying the cumulative collection was. Of the suspects arrested, two were National Guard members. There was a banker, a business man and an architect. One was a butcher (no word on any bakers or candlestick makers) and another a bartender. Scarier still were the maintenance worker, handyman and building super. WEST SENECA, N.Y. – Looks like we have another man posing as a woman on Facebook to get pictures from young boys, then blackmailing them into sending him more. Our first story was last month and involved a UNC college student, now it involves a substitute teacher.
The FBI says 25-year-old Timothy Bek, a former substitute teacher at West Seneca West Senior High School, has been charged with possession of child pornography after he got busted posing as a woman named “Sarah Grayson” on Facebook and talking underage students into sending him naked photos of themselves.
These charges may be upgraded as investigators have proof that he also attempted to blackmail his victims, telling them if they do not send him more photos, he’d distribute the ones he already had. They originally identified three victims, and now have identified several others. They are now trying to find out if some or all of the victims attended West Seneca High School.
While Assistant Superintendent Dr. Patrick Phelan said they’re not aware of Bek behaving inappropriately with students while employed with the school district, police are looking into whether Bek used school equipment, or his position in the schools, to search for his potential victims.…

Iowa City, IA – In addition to allegedly downloading several child porn images from a peer-to-peer network, Robert Burke, the principal at Sageville Elementary School in Dubuque, is also accused of placing a hidden camera in the boys’ room at the school in order to capture the young ‘ens as they used the facility.
According to the criminal complaint, Burke first gained the attention of the FBI after his IP address popped up on said peer-to-peer network…it appears as if he had downloaded a total of eight pornographic images since January. Investigators then served a search warrant on Burke’s home, seizing his computer and several printed images depicting child pornography. At least three of the images involved boys who appeared to be between the ages of 8 and 10 performing oral sex.
Taken in for questioning on Friday, Burke reportedly admitted to downloading the images, and further admitted to placing the video camera in the boys’ room. He has, however, denied touching any children in a sexual manner.
Charged with one count of receiving child pornography, 49-year-old Burke is looking at a maximum of five years behind bars if convicted on the charge.…

Bartow, FL — Robin Leigh Pagoria, a Polk County detention deputy, was accused Thursday of filming herself strapping two young girls to a desk and spanking them with sex toys before forwarding the videos to her boyfriend… a man she met on spankfinder.com.
According to the arrest affidavit, Pagoria, an admitted life-long spanking fetishist, removed two of the legs from an old desk so it sat on an incline. The girls, both between the ages of 10 and 18, were forced to disrobe and were tied and handcuffed to the modified desk. Pagoria would then spank ‘em silly with a leather paddle and a tawse as many as 50 times. Afterwards, the girls were made to stand naked with their hands above their heads for an unspecified length of time. The camera on her Android phone captured each and every whack.
The videos, of which police have found two, are each about 10 minutes in length. And in that 10 minutes, investigators say both girls suffered “substantial” injury, and both could be heard screaming throughout.…
