Mother And Two Children Brutally Murdered In Rancho Cordova HomeRancho Cordova, CAAlina Bukhantsov, a mother of three in her twenties, was discovered dead with two of her children, 3 and 4, in the family’s home by her husband, Denis Bukhantsov.  A 6-month-old child who was also in the home at the time of the murders was unharmed.

The scene was described by police as “very violent” and gruesome.  Officers leaving the home were visibly shaken and offered counseling by chaplains called to the scene, a rarity in a line of work where bloody crime scenes are not uncommon.

Denis Bukhantsov arrived home at about 3:30 PM yesterday to find his wife and children slain inside a single room.  He rushed out of the house, not knowing if the murderers were still inside, and called the police from a neighbor’s phone.  When deputies arrived, they found Mr. Bukhantsov “completely distraught.”  Paramedics pronounced the three victims dead at the scene.  Though there are no details on the manner of the murders as of this writing, police are indicating that the bodies had suffered “extreme trauma.”

Police Fatally Shoot Woman After She Stabbed Her Grandson To DeathBuffalo, NY — A grandmother was shot to death by police after she stabbed her young grandson to death outside her home.

A scene of unimaginable horror is what two Buffalo police officers encountered when they were flagged down and brought to the front porch of a home. There they found 22-year-old Tiffany Fears performing CPR on her 4-year-old son, Roderick Geiger III, who was bleeding to death after having been stabbed in the stomach and chest by his grandmother.

While the officers began working on the boy they were charged by the child’s 38-year-old-grandmother, Charlene Fears, who was armed with two large knives. She ignored repeated demands to drop the knives and, fearing for their safety, was subsequently shot and killed by one of the officers.

Roderick was rushed to Women and Children’s Hospital, but later died. Charlene’s two other children, who were in the home at the time of the stabbing, were not harmed. The officer who shot Charlene, a 25-year veteran,  is not being named and the case is being investigated by the homicide squad and internal affairs.…

Missing Indiana Girl Found Dead, Babysitter Arrested

December 27, 2011 at 10:38 am by

Missing Indiana Girl Found Dead, Babysitter ArrestedFORT WAYNE, Ind. – The 9-year-old Indiana girl who went missing two days before Christmas was found dead yesterday and the man who was watching her when she vanished has been charged with her murder.

Because Aliahna Lemmon’s mother was sick with the flu and her father worked nights, she and her two younger sisters were being watched by a neighbor, 39-year-old  Mike Plumadore, at the rundown trailer park where they all lived.

Plumadore stated when he woke up around 10 a.m. Friday morning, he found his door was unlocked and that Aliahna was gone. According to him, her sisters said Aliahna had left with her mother. No one realized this wasn’t the case until her mother called Plumadore at around 8:30 p.m that evening. Plumadore’s story didn’t wash with police.

“The story just didn’t make sense to our investigators or to me when I first heard it,” Allen County Sheriff Ken Fries said. “I thought this is the guy we needed to focus on. If we are going to find her, he’s going to be the one who has the answers for us.”

He was right. Plumadore was questioned by police on Friday, Saturday and for several hours Monday.…

Ex Police Officer Arrested For Child Abduction/Murder 50 Years LaterSycamore, IL — Former police officer Jack Daniel McCullough, 71, is being held in Seattle on $3 million bail after investigators charged that, in 1957, he abducted and murdered a 7-year-old girl. Maria Ridulph disappeared Dec. 3, 1957, while playing with her friend, Kathy Chapman. Chapman, who was 8 at the time, reportedly told investigators at the time that she and Maria were under a corner streetlight when a young man she knew as “Johnny” offered them a piggyback ride. At the time, McCullough went by the name “John Tessier.”

Chapman, now 61, said that she ran home to get mittens and that when she returned, Maria and the man were gone. It was months later in April 1958 that two people hunting for mushrooms found her remains.

According to investigators, police suspected McCullough – who lived less than two blocks from the Ridulphs and who fit the description of the man said to have approached the girls. But McCullough seemed to have an alibi. He had claimed he took the train from Rockford to Chicago the day of the abduction for a military physical.…

Missing Boy Found Dead Inside Dumpster, Mans FreezerBrooklyn, NY – Police have a man in custody after the 9-year-old Brooklyn boy who went missing on Monday evening was found dead and dismembered.

Leibby Kleztky had been reported missing on Monday after he did not return home from nearby Boyan Day Camp. Surveillance video would show the boy talking to a man in a gold sedan.

Using this footage and reviewing credit-card purchases, police were lead to the home of a 35-year-old man and member of the Orthodox Jewish community. The New York Post is reporting the suspect’s name is Levi Aron.

At the home where Aron reportedly lives with his parents, they would find Kleztky’s severed feet in a freezer. They would find more of the boy in a dumpster in Greenwood Heights with help from the suspect. They had been wrapped in garbage bags and placed in a red suitcase.

“It was a very brutal murder,” Assemblyman Dov Hikind said. “We’re all very, very sad. This is the worst possible conclusion imaginable.”  NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said Aron “panicked” and that’s why he suffocated the boy before chopping him up.…

Woman Accused Of Raping, Murdering Boyfriends DaughterBells, TN – Not much info on this one, but authorities have reason to believe 24-year-old Molly Jane Roe is responsible for the rape and murder of her boyfriend’s 17-month-old daughter, Maleeya.

According to court documents, Roe is accused of throwing the child, causing her to land head-first on a blunt object. In addition to the severe brain injury the baby toss caused, police say an examination of Maleeya after she was hospitalized revealed bruising to her vaginal area, right hip and left side of her stomach, as well as a bite mark on her back.

Maleeya was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville on Tuesday and was pronounced dead Saturday night.

Initially charged with aggravated child abuse, Roe is now facing charges of first-degree murder and aggravated rape of a child. She is being held without bond.

Police say neither of the child’s parents were involved in the alleged abuse.…

Missing Girl Found Dead In Dumpster, Neighbor In CustodySOUDERTON, PA – Police have identified the neighbor suspected of killing 9-year-old Skylar Kauffman as 24-year-old James Troutman.

The girl was last seen on Monday as she played with friends in the parking lot of the Souderton Garden apartments where she lived with her mother. When she did not come in for dinner, her mom became concerned and called police.  When she still had not been heard from or seen by that night, an Amber Alert was issued and the search intensified.

Sadly, a few hours after the alert had been issued, it was cancelled. Skylar’s dead body was found wrapped in a blanket inside a nearby dumpster. As police began interviewing neighbors, they honed in on one in particular, Troutman, deciding to interview him a second time. That’s when they allegedly spotted blood on his shoes.

Missing Girl Found Dead In Dumpster, Neighbor In CustodyTroutman had a prior run-in with Skylar a couple of weeks earlier. She and another girl had used Troutman’s bathroom and noticed naked photos of women on the wall. When Troutman asked if they wanted to see “his bird” they tried to leave but found the door was locked.…

Man Posts Bout 2 kill ma kid On Facebook, Follows Through Sidney, AU – Ramazan Acar, 24, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to killing his daughter after he announced his intent to do it on Facebook. Acar stabbed his 2-year-old daughter, Yazmina, to death last November reportedly to hurt Yazmina’s mother – his former fiancée Rachelle D’Argent.

Acar contacted D’Argent asking if he could let Acar take her out to a chocolate shop. The mother allowed Acar to take her – citing the fact that the girl had not seen Acar in three months and she was “excited to see him.”

Acar did not return as planned and began threatening to kill Yazmina through Facebook posts and text messages and phone calls to D’Argent.

On the day of the murder, Acar posted “Bout 2 kill ma kid” on Facebook. He then phoned D’Argent and asked her if she wanted to say some last words to Yazmina. The 2-year-old girl told her mom “I love you” and D’Argent replied “I love you too.”

Acar then repeatedly stabbed the girl with a 12-inch knife – Yazmina died due to wounds to her chest and stomach, in what forensic experts said was a ‘prolonged death.’ Police later located the child’s body on the side of a road in northwestern Melbourne.…

Mother Claims She Killed Son Because He Was PossessedRidgeville, South Carolina — The Dorchester County Sheriff’s department has been investigating the death of Rowan Bracci since January 9, and on Friday, his 19-year-old mother was denied bond after being charged with his death. Police say Amber Bracci hit the baby because she thought he was “possessed.”

Not only is Bracci charged, but her 20-year-old boyfriend, John Weaver, is also facing charges of homicide by child abuse in the death of 16-month-old Rowan.

Although Bracci’s bond was denied, she will be able to request a bond again in six months. The judge was more lenient with Weaver, as he was granted a $50,000 bond.

Though the couple is now apparently pointing fingers at each other, Bracci is the one who blamed the death on the child being “possessed” and admitted that she was the one who hit the child.

“I went in there and picked my son up out of bed at 10:30 in the morning and he was limp,” Bracci said in an interview with WCSC-TV. “His eyes were closed and he was not responsive.” The coroner says the boy died two days later of head trauma.…

Colorado City, Texas - Hailey Dunn, 13, has been missing since December 27. We’ve covered the case here and in our forums, with the usual “oh, Mom’s boyfriend” response. I mean, really. You see a few hundred of these and it plays out like variations on a damned theme every time, right? Mom was high, Dad was also kinda high, mom Billie Dunn met 25-year-old Shawn Adkins online, moved him in, Hailey went missing, and now everyone’s all shocked like this shit never happens and Nancy Grace acts like she’s won the lottery. Again.  But now we have affidavits and search warrants and new case data, and the case appears to be breaking.  Hailey, at this writing, remains missing, and no one has been arrested or charged in her disappearance. Shawn Adkins is a person of interest.

Now, some Myspace pics have come up that show Shawn Adkins flashing the Evil Devil Sign, and one affidavit lists multiple true crime documents printed by Billie Dunn involving serial killers.…

Lawrence, MA – Alexis Medina, 23, is being held without bail after his arraignment on murder charges in Lawrence District Court in Boston. Medina, who was previously convicted of child abuse for breaking an older daughter’s skull back in September 2008, openly admitted to shaking and “rough-housing” his 4 month old namesake, Alexis Medina, Jr. Alexis Jr. died last Wednesday after being brain dead for hours at Tufts Medical Center. What caused little Alexis Jr. to be brain dead? His shit-stain of a father woke to his crying after Mom, Jocelyn DeJesus, had already left for work. Medina wasn’t having that. While Jr. was lying face down, “Dad” allegedly pushed down on his back to quiet him so he could get some more sleep. About 2 to 3 hours later Medina’s mom, the infants grandmother, came over to babysit 4 month old Jr. and his 20 month old sister Nayeli, and found the infant unresponsive. 911 was alerted and paramedics resuscitated the infant but he was already brain dead. Prosecutor Kate MacDougall stated that although Medina admitted to shaking the baby, the cause of death appears to be suffocation.…

CONSTANTINE, MI – While posting the Rowan Ford update below, I remembered another case we posted about at around the exact same time involving 11-year-old Jodi Parrack. She was last seen around 4:45 Thursday afternoon November 8, 2007 riding her bike and was found dead in the Constantine Township Cemetery. Her mother found her there around 10:30 PM that evening, fully clothed with her bicycle nearby. That was three years ago and an arrest still has not been made nor has a suspect been identified. There has been some developments but not much in way of new information. A cause of death has never been released and the police are staying quiet on if Jodi was sexually assaulted or not. Six months after her death, prosecutor Douglas Fisher said they have at least 75 suspects and that her immediate family were not among them. While he was not specific, he added they had forensic evidence from the crime scene that will help in both identifying and clearing suspects. I take that to mean there was DNA collected which means I assume there was a sexual assault.…

Desha, AR — Two days after the body of 2-year-old Harley Davidson was found in the refrigerator of her mother’s home, capital murder charges have been filed against mom’s boyfriend, 26-year-old Jesse Holloman. According to the child’s mother, Kristy Davidson, she had left Harley with Jesse Saturday night so she could work. The next morning, Jesse showed up at her place of employment and told her something had happened to the baby during the night…she was dead. Kristy raced home and ran directly to the bedroom, searching for her child. When she couldn’t find Harley, she ran next door to get help. When she returned to the trailer, she noticed all of the food that was once in the fridge was now sitting on the counter. She then opened the refrigerator door and found her little girl in a box with some sort of net-type cloth over her head. Though neighbors and first responders attempted to revive the child, it was too late – she was pronounced dead at the hospital.…

Muskogee, OK – According to police, 18-year-old Aaron Michael Laconsello broke into the home of Christopher and Stephanie Lane late Tuesday night, walked right past Christopher, asleep on the couch, and entered the room of the couple’s two young sons. For reasons unknown at this point, Laconsello then stabbed 4-year-old Dakota Lane approximately 36 times with a pair of household scissors. Awakened by the noise coming from her son’s bedroom, a very pregnant Stephanie ran into the room and tried to intervene…she, too, was stabbed several times. While Stephanie’s injuries were non-life threatening, Dakota did not survive the vicious attack. Laconsello was arrested just blocks away from the scene less than two hours later. Police are still trying to determine a motive for the attack, but say it appears random. Neighbors say Laconsello has been staying with relatives at a home just two houses away from the Lanes’. One of those relatives, 19-year-old Colt Hooper, told police that he doesn’t think Laconsello even knew Dakota. He further stated that Laconsello isn’t a “mean person” at all, but he had been drinking the night of the attack.…

Queens, NY – According to police, 53-year-old Xiao Aiu Cai was taken into custody Tuesday evening after throwing a 2-year-old boy to his death from a seventh-floor balcony. The child, identified by family members as Jerry Zhao, was pronounced dead at New York Hospital shortly after going into cardiac arrest. Police say Cai, who lived in the apartment with the child and his parents, got into an argument with her own daughter and, for some reason, lashed out at the toddler, grabbed hold of him and tossed him off the balcony. “She (Cai) attempted thereafter to throw herself off, but was pulled off by other people in the apartment. The woman is not related to the baby in any way. It is just a sad and tragic incident,” said Richard Brown, Queens District Attorney. The whole thing happened so fast, Jerry’s mother could do little more than watch in horror as her son went over the edge. Cai, while under arrest, was hospitalized and is currently undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. She has been charged with second-degree murder.…

Man Charged With Drowning His Two Kids

October 22, 2010 at 7:15 pm by

Allen Park, MI - A man was taken into custody Tuesday after police responded to his 911 call about the drowning deaths of his two children.  When police arrived at his apartment, they found 27-year-old Steve Nicholson sitting on the floor with the dead bodies of of 15 month old Ella Stafford and 13 month old Jonathon Sanderlin.  Nicholson claimed he awoke to find his kids dead in the bathtub but the evidence does not support his statements. Mom Ties Pacifier To Baby’s Face, Baby Dies

September 16, 2010 at 9:36 am by

Tulsa, OK – According to police, 23-year-old Janette Mickelboro was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the death of her 3-month-old son, Hunter Thompson Warner, on August 20. Authorities say that when Janette got up to check on the child early that morning, she reportedly tied a receiving blanket around his face to hold his pacifier in place, before placing him in a bouncy chair. Several hours later, as she readied herself for work, she checked on the boy and found him to be “stiff and cold.” Did she attempt CPR? No. Did she call 911? Nope. She untied and removed the blanket from the child’s face, took him out of his bouncy chair and placed him in his bassinet so his daddy could wake up a few hours later and find him dead. Nice. She then left for work. And it’s not the first time she tied the baby’s pacifier to his face. “Some family friends had observed this practice and cautioned her that it was dangerous practice,” says Tulsa Police Child Crisis Corporal Greg Smith. ”It appears she repeated that practice even after being informed that it could be dangerous and shouldn’t be done.” Hunter’s father claims he had no idea Janette had done that in the past, and once the allegations against her were made, he took their 2-year-old child and moved in with relatives.…

Police: Woman In Labor Brings Dead Boy To Hospital

September 16, 2010 at 8:14 am by

Zion, IL – On September 6, 35-year-old Yolanda Jones delivered a very dead 5-year-old boy to the hospital shortly before going into labor and delivering her sixth child. According to police, the child, Tommy Davis III, was the son of a man Jones had been dating – the same man who fathered three of her six children, including the newest addition. Jones, labeled the child’s caregiver, initially tried to tell hospital staff the child had fallen down and hit his head on a parking block at the Sheridan Hotel where she and her children had been living. That bullshit story just didn’t fly. Why? Tommy had already been dead for several hours when Jones arrived at the hospital; an initial examination of the boy’s body revealed extensive bruising from the top of the his head to just below his knees, with recent bleeding from his nose, ears and head; video surveillance from the hotel showed Jones leaving the building with the child already limp in her arms; the autopsy revealed Tommy died of blunt force trauma to the head and brain, classified as “non-accidental.” Oh, and then there’s the confession.…

Dallas, TX - The 911 call went a little like this: “I kill my both kids. They are died.” Saiqa Akhter went on to tell the dispatcher that she tried to get the kids to drink bathroom cleaner, but they wouldn’t swallow – so she twisted a wire around their necks until “they are no more.” When the dispatcher asked her why she did it, Saiqa replied, “Both are autistic. I don’t want my kids to be like that. I want normal kids. I don’t want my kids to be autistic. I kill both of them.” When asked by the 911 dispatcher what she was feeling, Saiqa replied, “nothing.” Paramedics arrived at the home Monday evening to find both children, Zain, 5, and Faryaal, 2, blue and unconscious in a bedroom. Zain was pronounced dead at the hospital and Faryaal was taken off life support on Tuesday. Saiqa, 30, now faces capital murder charges.
