Woman Dead After Possible Suicide By Chainsaw

March 15, 2012 at 9:52 am by

Woman Dead After Possible Suicide By ChainsawCULVER CITY, CA – Not a lot of details yet, but reports are a woman in California was found dead inside a home with a chainsaw wound to the neck.

The woman’s body was found by her sister around 1 a.m. Thursday. Her name has not been released, but police have confirmed that the woman had a chainsaw wound to her neck and a possible suicide note was found beside her body.

However, at this point her death has not been officially ruled a suicide. No matter the cause — suicide, accident or murder — that is one violent way to die.

I’ll update the story as more details are released, but if you are interested in chainsaw related stories, we have a couple pages worth.…

Man Charged After Attacking Woman With A Chainsaw

November 23, 2011 at 10:27 am by

Man Charged After Attacking Woman With A ChainsawCrystal River, FL — Jeffrey Clayton Bonney, 51, is facing felony charges after allegedly beating a woman and attacking her with a chainsaw over the weekend.

Deputies were called after witnesses heard screaming and yelling coming from inside the residence Saturday. When police arrived at the home, they found the woman bleeding profusely from a cut on her arm. Her nose was swollen and her right eye had been dotted. She reportedly told police she had fallen and cut herself on a lamp. When the officers asked to speak to Bonney, he hauled ass out the back door and into the woods.

In the living room, about 8 inches away from a large puddle of blood, officers found a chainsaw with what appeared to be human hair on it. I guess the “broken lamp” story didn’t fly…

Questioned again, the victim told police the gash in her arm stemmed from her attempt to protect her face when Bonney swung a chainsaw at her. She was transported to the hospital, where it took a few sutures and about 40 staples to close the wound.…

Man Injured In Halloween Chainsaw Attack

November 2, 2011 at 5:48 am by

Man Injured In Halloween Chainsaw AttackSalt Lake City, UT — A 48-year-old man escorting a woman and her 2-year-old daughter while trick-or-treating Monday night was injured in what police believe was a random chainsaw attack carried out by a man in a multi-colored mask.

Very few details at this time, but based on what the woman told police, the chainsaw carrying masked man approached the trio at about 10:00 p.m. As the victim raised his arm to fend off the attack, the saw made contact with his forearm, causing a deep gash.

According to Salt Lake City Police Det. Cary Wichmann, judging by the injury to the man’s arm, it appears as if the saw was running, but without the chain.

“Similar to what is used at haunted houses to give people a scare,” he said. “Even without a chain, the saw can injure.”

Police were unable to get much of a suspect description – in addition to a language barrier and a very frightened and freaked-out woman, the victim was already under sedation at the hospital by the time the authorities were even notified.…

Man Charged With Murder After Best Friend Loses His HeadHouston, TX — Police have made an arrest in the gruesome murder of a man whose headless body was found in the backyard of a vacant northeast Houston home over the weekend.

Noe Morin, 35, was charged Monday in connection with the death of 35-year-old Marlon Thomas - his roommate and best friend of 20 years.

Thomas’ headless, dismembered body was discovered at about 7:00 Sunday evening behind a vacant home adjacent to the duplex he and Morin shared. In the crawlspace beneath the duplex itself, sitting next to a chainsaw, police found a garbage bag containing the missing head and one arm.

Though a neighbor reported hearing two gunshots at about 10:00 Saturday evening, investigators have reported that, except for the whole dismemberment/decapitation thing, there were no other obvious injuries to the victim. The exact cause of death won’t be revealed until after an autopsy is conducted, but my money’s on Husqvarna or Black and Decker…

Police have yet to release a motive in the killing, but friends and neighbors suggest the two may have been arguing about money or drugs.…

Man Charged After Breaking Into Womans Apartment With ChainsawDeerfield, IL — Lukasz Strama was taken into custody early last week after he reportedly broke into a neighbor’s apartment by cutting through the door with a chainsaw.

The woman who lives in the apartment told police she heard loud noises coming from outside her apartment on the evening of March 14, and assumed the sounds were coming from landscapers working in the complex. As the noise grew louder and closer, she decided to investigate – it was then that she observed the chainsaw chewing through her front door.

She began to scream, of course, and quickly called 911. She grabbed her two pups and tossed them out onto a landing in the rear of the apartment. She then jumped from her second-story balcony and took off running.

When police arrived, they were told the chainsaw-wielding wacko was 28-year-old Strama, and officers reported finding a 20-inch chainsaw and a hatchet in his bedroom. Charged with trespassing and criminal damage to property, Strama was involuntarily committed to Highland Park Hospital before being returned to police custody.…

Man Accused Of Using Chainsaw To Attack Wife

October 28, 2010 at 10:08 am by

SALINAS, Calif. – Ubertino Nunez, 53, has been accused of using a chainsaw during a domestic attack against his wife who had locked herself in a bedroom. His wife said Nunez has been violent throughout their 36 years of marriage, even accusing him of raping her multiple times, but Tuesday’s incident stemmed from her refusal to sign over a parcel of land to him. Police say the woman locked herself in the bedroom after Nunez tied her up with a cable cord and tried to suffocate her with a pillow. Nunez then used a knife and an idling chainsaw to get inside the room. When police arrived at the scene, Nunez jumped out of a window and over a 6-foot wall before he was apprehended. Nunez has been placed in the Monterey County Jail on charges of attempted murder, domestic violence, spousal rape, false imprisonment and terrorist threats. The judge set his bail at $1.8 million.…

Men Accused Of Beheading Pit Bull With Chainsaw

September 24, 2010 at 8:31 am by

Aztec, NM – Police say Teddy Sexton, 32, and his buddy, 31-year-old Corey Bowen, have been arrested on charges of extreme animal cruelty after the pair decided to “put a dog down” by way of chainsaw. Sexton told police his 2-year-old pit bull bit his 9-year-old daughter last month – it was the second time the dog had bitten someone and he felt the dog should be put down. Because he is on felony probation and can not legally possess a firearm, Sexton attempted to slit the dog’s throat with a kitchen knife. When that didn’t work, he and his buddy decided to go with the chainsaw. I’m guessing that did the trick. Sheriff’s deputies and an animal control officer recovered the dog’s body, which will be tested for rabies. A CYFD investigator tipped off authorities to the beheading after being notified that several young children had reported seeing the dog’s head removed and were suffering from nightmares because of it. Whether any children actually witnessed the beheading is unclear – Sexton told police the children were inside the home at the time.…

Medford – The happy man you see to the left is 37-year-old David William Neil Stockton. He was arrested on Sunday and charged with attempted first-degree assault, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, two counts of harassment and three counts each of menacing and endangering another after police say he attacked three women with a chainsaw as they sat inside a car. The three women, one of whom used to date Stockton, were out celebrating the driver’s birthday Saturday night and were invited over to Stockton’s house. At some point during the visit, Stockton became angry and asked the women to leave. Not happy with the speed at which they were honoring his request, Stockton began using a running chainsaw to damage the car the three women were sitting in. Stockton used the chainsaw to dent and scrap the car’s body down to metal and broke out the front passenger’s side window, placing the blade inside. The women were able to duck away from the blade and aside from some minor cuts due to the broken glass, avoided serious injury. …

Dallas, Texas – Police would like your help in tracking down 49-year-old Jose Fernando Corona who they believe removed his wife’s head from her body with the aid of a chainsaw. On Monday, a mail carrier discovered Corona’s wife, Maria, 44, dead in the street near her home. When police arrived on the scene, they found two chainsaws with blood and tissue matter nearby, one of them still running. It has since been reported that the couple had been having marital problems and that neighbors heard chainsaws running shortly before the body was discovered. And before any you try to find comfort that this poor woman may have been attacked with the chainsaws after the mother of six was murdered, it is my sad duty to inform you that was not the case. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office reported the cause of death was “multiple blunt/sharp force chainsaw injuries.” Corona was initially reported to be driving a 2005 gold Toyota Sequoia with Texas license 247-DVH, but police say he is in fact driving a stolen 1992 Ford Ranger truck with Texas license plate number is AA2-4004.…

Christina Rubin Needed A Better Chainsaw

January 14, 2009 at 12:31 pm by

Back in November, Christina Rubin’s father, Marc Rubin, yelled at her for some reason or another. This exchange was overheard by her boyfriend, 20-year-old Jeffery Leinheiser, who had the normal reaction of expressing a desire to kill Christina’s father. Christina thought that this wasn’t a bad idea and they developed a plan in which Leinheiser would shoot Marc Rubin with Christina’s .357 revolver the day after Thanksgiving. That part of the plan worked beautifully. …

Robert Craft Has Trouble With Lawn Tools

Salt Lake City, UT - Robert Stanley Craft, 44, has a hot temper and no ability to start his lawn maintenance equipment.  Which is probably a good thing, given that he assaulted his stepson with a chainsaw (he threw it) and a weedeater (he threw that, too).  Then he tried to run over his wife, and missed.  This dude is a study in epic fail.…

Matthew Watkins Likes Chainsaws, Not Meds

Matthew Watkins Likes Chainsaws, Not Meds

This Matthew Watkins is not the same Matthew Watkins who doesn’t like confrontation, below. This guy likes confrontation just fine.

New Bloomfield, MO – Matthew Watkins, 28, was working at the New Life Evangelistic Center’s Mid-America Care Center when his lack of medication kicked in. Watkins, who is schizophrenic, was participating in on-the-job training at the homeless shelter when he began attacking residents – first with a knife, then with a chainsaw.

“One of our staff members apparently had a mental breakdown – I guess you could say he went ballistic,” said a shelter employee. “First he was running around poking people – he poked a guy in the neck with, I think, a pencil – then he came after people with a chainsaw.”…
