Blue Springs, MO – J.B. died on FridayFriday reviews, SeptemberSeptember reviews 12 – but it took almost two weeks for his mother and her boyfriend to kill him.  The one-year-old’s slow death was probably caused by sepsis or internal trauma.  After a Labor Day beating, J.B.’s arm was broken and his tongue was split nearly in two.   Kimberly Helmes, 21, and Kyle Cooper, 25, decided not to take J.B. to the hospital.   Instead, they tried to stitch his tongue back together with a needle and thread.  [Read more...]
