Marion, IL – In September 2008, Tina Pickens was shot and wounded by her husband, 61-year-old Harry Schauf Jr, in an apparent domestic altercation. Pickens recovered from her injuries and her husband was later convicted on charges of aggravated battery and sentenced to a 50-year prison term. Now, I don’t know about you folks, but if my husband/boyfriend/flavor of the week gave me a hot lead injection, I wouldn’t be too fired up about jumping into another relationship any time soon. Pickens, however, soon found herself another abusive asshole with which to spend her time – while still married to the first asshole. In September 2009, her latest beau, 47-year-old Patrick Williams, was arrested on charges of assault after slapping her around a bit, cutting and bruising her face. He bonded out on January 11, 2010, and was ordered to have no contact with Pickens. FARMINGTON, N.M. – Jay Johnson, 25, is facing some pretty serious charges for what he did during a small gathering he hosted at his mobile home. Police say that some time in the early morning hours on Wednesday, one of Johnson’s two guests made a crack about Johnson’s mother having cancer. Not finding that too funny, Johnson allegedly pulled out a shotgun, beat the two men with it and then held them hostage in his trailer for four hours. He barricaded the door and would not let them leave, threatening to beat them again if they attempted to do so. Police are not sure why, but at around 5 a.m. Johnson had a change of heart and let the two men leave. One of the men went to the hospital where he was treated and released (I’m assuming he was the one who made the cancer remark). After a warrant was issued and police found what they believe is the weapon used in the attack, Johnson was arrested and charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.…

Roebuck, SC - Police say that after Jamie Earnhart attacked his girlfriend Sunday morning, her kids whooped his ass. And they did a damn fine job, too. Earnhart admitted to police that in the midst of a heated argument, he shoved his woman while she was holding her baby. He then reportedly hit her in the face while continuing to scream at her. When the kids heard the ruckus, they went all Fists of Fury on his ass, beating him and keeping him from leaving the home until the police showed up. Dallas, OR - Andrew Jondle set out on his scooter Monday evening with murder on his mind – the 20-year-old was fixin’ to kill his parents, 61-year-old David Jondle, and 58-year-old Marilyn Jondle. When David opened the garage door to greet his son that night, Andrew repeatedly bashed him in the head with a metal pipe before stabbing him a few times with a scythe. Andrew’s mother heard the commotion in the garage and popped her head out to investigate. She, too, was beaten with a pipe. Their bodies were found the next morning by a delivery man. “I just couldn’t imagine Andrew doing something like this,” said Nate Rafn, a family friend. “In the limited times I saw him he wasn’t violent at all – he didn’t seem to be angry or troubled in any way. He just seemed to be a normal kid.” Neither drugs nor alcohol was involved in the killings, just pure rage. Why so much rage from a normally pleasant person? Bethlehem, PA – Donald Fehr, age unknown, was sitting on his front porch in his tighty whities in the predawn hours of August 17, when a young neighbor approached him and suggested that he put some clothes on. See, the young man’s girlfriend was on her way over and he felt Fehr was “being disrespectful” by sitting out there in his draws. When Fehr refused to clothe himself, the young man, identified as 19-year-old Hector Morales Jr., said, “There’s gonna be trouble.“ And dammit, he meant it. Police say Morales beat the ever lovin’ shit out of Fehr with a wiffle bat. He beat the man so severely, the plastic bat broke in two. That didn’t stop Morales, he continued the beating with his fists. He reportedly beat Fehr until the man collapsed in a puddle of his own blood. Fehr was left with several missing teeth, a skull fracture and broken jaw. On August 23, Morales was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault. Scranton, PA – A couple of years ago, we posted a story about Nicholas Pinto, child pornographer extraordinaire. Long story short, Pinto was charged with 87 counts of counts of manufacturing and possession of child pornography and placed in Lackawanna County Prison to await sentencing. That was back in 2008 – fast forward to August 8. For whatever reason, Pinto was not being held in protective custody as most perverts are – he was a member of the general population. On that day, as he was walking back to his cell block from a rec area, he was attacked by fellow inmate, Michael Simonson. The assailant, who has a history of violence, reportedly knocked Pinto to the floor and stomped on his head at least 15 times “with all his might.” After he was done Riverdancing on Pinto’s melon, Simonson walked into his own cell and scrubbed the pervert’s blood from his black tennis shoes. Pinto was left with a shattered face and brain injuries that rendered him comatose. This wasn’t exactly the first act of violence Pinto faced behind bars……

UNION, Ky. - Remember the guy who was charged with child abuse after spanking his kid over a game of hopscotch? Well the charges have been dropped. People were real quick to throw Christopher Robison into the flames, but as it turned out the real story was a bit less…dramatic…than originally reported. During a preliminary hearing Monday, the judge found no probable cause for the felony criminal abuse charge was charged with. “There was obviously some abuse, now whether it rises to the level of a class C felony or not, I’m not convinced of that,” Judge Stephen Huddleston said. The “some abuse” comment comes from Robison admitting that after his 5-year-old son mouthed off to him, he took him inside and spanked him twice on the ass with a belt. It was after his ex-wife saw injuries on the boy’s side from an accident he had in a swimming pool that police were called. Prosecutors still have an option of taking the case to the grand jury on a lesser charge, but until then Robison told reporters he will never use corporal punishment again and just wants to put all this behind him.”This is something I just wanted to go away, so we can get on with whatever a normal life is,” Robison said.…

Cleveland, OH – According to police, a neighbor called 911 earlier this week after Talthina Jackson’s bloodied 14-year-old son knocked on her door and told her his momma beat him with a clothes iron. Not only did she knock the kid around with an iron, but she also threw an aerosol can at him and bit him on the jaw before threatening him with a knife. Jesus! High-strung much? When police spoke with Jackson, she reportedly said she believed the boy was sneaking into her room to steal money. She was booked on charges of child abuse and assault and will be heading to court this morning. The teen has been placed with relatives. This apparently isn’t the first time Jackson’s parenting skillz have been questioned – police say they are investigating earlier allegations of abuse that led to a recent call to the Department of Social Services. Fairborn, OH – Chastity Elliot and her boyfriend, Robert Profitt, flagged down a police officer on July 27th and reported that they had found a stray dog that had been injured and were waiting for Animal Control to respond and take it. The two told the officer they had no idea who the dog belonged to, but they did see it get hit by a car. They went on to say they believed a couple of kids took a baseball bat to the poor thing. The dog was laying in the grass, bleeding from it’s eyes, nose and face. Animal control transported the dog to a shelter where it remains to this day. Their story held up until about August 9th. At that time, Chastity’s aunt contacted police because a child relative told her that Chastity and Robert had beaten the dog. Officers made contact with the couple on the 10th and the real story finally came out. The dog, an Australian shepherd mix named Smokey, originally belonged to Chastity’s aunt.…

Madison, SC – Charley Joe Simmons had some kind of beef with a guy named Milton Florence. Instead of hashing it out like most adults would, Simmons took the low road and decided to take his anger out on something else – Florence’s dog. Florence, who shares a home with his mother, told deputies they returned home from a doctor’s appointment last Tuesday and discovered someone had broken into their house. Though the place was ransacked and their items pawed through, nothing was missing. It was after they checked on the family dog that the burglar’s true intentions became clear. Their dog, still attached to it’s dog run, had been beaten to death. Near the animal’s body, two aluminum baseball bats. Poor thing didn’t stand a chance. Investigators believe Simmons broke into the home with the sole purpose of killing the dog because he was upset with Florence. The 30-year-old douche has been booked on animal cruelty charges, felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor injury to personal property. Bond has been set at $25,000.…

LOUISVILLE, KY – Like a lot of stories we post here, a good portion get lost in the shuffle. Such is the case of 43-year-old Carl Berry. He is the man we posted about in June who was undergoing chemotherapy treatment when he was attacked by some youths outside of a General Dollar store. Since then police have arrested a 14-year-old and his 16-year-old brother for their role in the attack that left Berry pretty messed up and needing eye surgery. Sadly, after having the eye surgery performed, complications arose because of his body being weak from the beating and the cancer treatments. Berry is currently in a coma with a 1% chance of surviving. “He went in for the surgery and they came out to tell us that he made it through surgery ok and he was doing alright he was in recovery and then like 10 minutes later they came back out and said his heart actually stopped,” his girlfriend, Janet Whelan told reporters. Prosecutors are currently trying to decide if they will choose to charge the boys as adults or juveniles.…

Vancouver, WA – Michelle Hawn ran from her trailer to a neighboring trailer in tears Tuesday evening, claiming her boyfriend had beaten her up. The neighbor sat with the crying woman for about 45 minutes before venturing over to the trailer in question to check shit out. When she opened the door, she saw Hawn’s boyfriend, 41-year-old Todd Proetel, laying on the kitchen floor, unconscious and bleeding profusely from the head. When the police arrived on scene, they noticed Hawn had no visible signs of abuse on her face or her body. Proetel, though, had been beaten senseless. Amid the blood splatter, deputies found the plastic Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner Hawn had used to break her boyfriend’s face. Proetel is now listed in critical condition with fractures to his skull and the bones around his eyes. Hawn reportedly admitted to bashing Proetel in the skull with the appliance, but failed to explain what led to the beating. HOMESTEAD, FLA. — Lee Wille DeJesus, 23, is in jail facing second-degree murder charges after his son died from injuries he suffered during a boxing lesson. Lee Wille DeJesus told investigators he put on boxing gloves and punched his 2-year-old son up to 15 times on his face, head, torso and shoulders. The last punch was so hard that it knocked Wiley Brown off the bed where he struck a wall before hitting his head on the tile floor. The complaint also states that even though DeJesus witnessed his son become unresponsive and having seizures, he waited 30 minutes to an hour before calling 911 only after noticing his son’s lips were turning blue. DeJeesus would initially lie about the boy’s injuries, claiming a babysitter was responsible. Under questioning he would admit to punching on the boy. He was originally charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect, but after Brown was listed as brain dead and on life support with no chance of recovery, those charges were upgraded. Prosecutors plan on filing first-degree murder charges as soon as Brown dies.…

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – George Cole, 76, doesn’t remember much about what happened when he walked inside the bathroom while taking a break from his job greeting customers at an Elizabeth City Walmart. He remembers going inside, then waking up in an ambulance after getting a couple solid punches to the face. “Mr. Cole was found in the bathroom at Walmart bleeding. He had been punched in his face twice, both eyes. And his mouth was also bleeding. He was there for quite a while,” Police Lt. John Etheridge said. Turns out he was the victim of a robbery at the hands of 19-year-old Charles Everett Willams. Cole ended up with a busted lip, a black eye, some stitches and a nasty bruise on his thigh. He has no family in the area but a co-worker is letting him stay with her until he heals (*makes bow-chicka-wow-wow noise*). Rock Hill, SC – After a babysitter noticed large bruises on the face of one toddler and a bite mark on the face of another, Chris Roberts, 23, was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful neglect of a child. After interviewing Roberts, police learned that Roberts was watching the children on Friday while their mother worked. He got angry at the 4-year-old, spanked him and smacked him across the face. He told the mother that the injuries came from the kid falling off the bed and landing on a toy. The bite mark on the 2-year-old was simply the result of what Roberts called “play biting.” You know, because nothing a 2-year-old likes more than some Lurch looking motherfucker biting them on the face. SUMMIT, N.J. – Three teenagers are facing murder charges after police say that they beat 47-year-old Abelino Mazaniego to death while a fourth teen filmed it all on his cell phone. The married father of four was sitting on a bench outside of the restaurant where he worked as a dishwasher when he was approached by a group of teens. For no known motive at this time, although rumors are circulating it was racially motivated, three of the teens beat the immigrant from El Salvador unconscious. He would die days later at the hospital while the video of his beating circulated amongst other teens. This lead to Nigel Dumas, 19, Khayri Williams-Clark, 18, and an unidentified 17-year-old being charged with manslaughter – a charge that has since been upgraded to murder. To add insult who are all facing murder charges. No charges have been filed against the person who filmed the attack at this time. LEMON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A shirtless Casey Fryman, 26, walked into Main Bar in Lemon Township demanding car keys from his father, who was sitting at the bar. Since he was wearing jeans with no shirt, you already know he was acting like a dick. So much so that the bartender, Terina King-Smeal, asked him to leave the establishment. Fryman responded by picking up a barstool and hitting her in the face with it. At this point the other patrons in the bar tackled Fryman and held him there until police showed up. Nah, just kidding. Police say 35-year-old Anthony Miliner was in the drive-thru at McDonald’s late last month when he witnessed a woman being beaten in the car ahead of his. Miliner tried to intervene and may lose an eye for his trouble. One of the women he tried to help got all butt-hurty and decided to attack. She and at least three of her friends approached Miliner as he sat in the passenger seat of his vehicle and proceeded to beat the snot out of him – punching, kicking, spitting – all of it was caught on video by a McDonald’s employee.…

ROCK HILL, SC – Marquevious Jabar Bell, 20, won’t be winning any Boyfriend of the Year awards after an incident at the Rock Hill Women’s Center. While his girlfriend was laying in the hospital bed preparing to give birth to their baby, Bell allegedly hit her in the face. According to the police report, the two got into an argument after the mom-to-be was given some medication that made her groggy. The report said that at this time Bell “struck her in the face with an open hand” and that the woman was hit several more times after that. Nurses were alerted to the abuse when the girlfriend slipped them a note that read “please don’t leave the room but make him leave, he stressn [sic] me and I’m scared.” Security was called and Bell was removed from the building. The woman went on to explain that she has been trying to leave Bell for over a year. The police report said that he has tried to shoot her and assault her on other occasions.…
