Kansas City, MO – Annie Oliver, 80, was taken into custody after allegedly beating the “smart” out of her 75-year-old husband with a baseball bat
Police responded to the home the couple had shared for nearly 40 years Wednesday, after receiving a call from Annie’s granddaughter.
Annie apparently called her granddaughter just before 1:00 p.m. and told her she had hurt the victim, Ronald, pretty bad. She went on to say that while her husband was helping her out with something, he hit her on the hand and began “talking smart” to her. She “lost it,” she said, and hit him upside the head with a baseball bat and cut him with a knife.
According to police, they found Ronald lying in a pool of blood. It appeared as if he had suffered from a bit of blunt force trauma to the head — officers observed part of his skull exposed. Blood spatter and brain matter were apparently evident on the floors and wall.
Annie was found in another bedroom, getting dressed. Officers noted she had blood spatter on her shoes and a piece of human tissue on her forehead.…

Daly City, CA – Back in 2011, we reported on 39-year-old Jesusa Tatad, the woman who poured boiling water on her sleeping ex-husband and then whacked him with a baseball bat. On Wednesday, Tatad pleaded guilty to second-degree murder after the man died from his injuries.
Tatad and her ex-husband, 36-year-old Ronnie Tatad, were still living together in 2011 after their divorce three years prior. Tatad said Ronnie had promised to re-marry her and bring their two daughters, aged 9 and 14, back from the Philippines to live with them.
But the years passed and Ronnie never re-married her and he never brought their children home. To add insult to injury, Ronnie had gotten himself a girlfriend. In retaliation, Tatad waited for Ronnie to fall asleep, then dumped a pot of boiling water on him. When Ronnie jumped up and ran to the bathroom, Tatad whacked him in the head with a baseball bat.
Ronnie ran from the apartment half-naked, and was found hiding behind a car by a maintenance worker who called 911.…

Mankato, MN — Ashley Stillwell, 24, was jailed after police say she asked a couple of thugs to beat the snot out of her husband with a baseball bat.
According to police, on January 8, Stillwell left the house after an argument with her husband over bills, later returning with two men dressed in dark, hooded sweatshirts and armed with aluminum baseball bats.
When the victim, Gary Stillwell, asked the men to kindly get the fuck out, they refused and began beating him.
The victim told deputies that he was kicked in the face and struck with a bat several times. During the assault, Mr. Stillwell said, he overheard his wife, who was holding one of their children, yell, “Not in front of my babies!”
Thugs must not hear so well – one of the children was able to confirm the attack.
After the assault, the husband found a car key on the floor and handed it over to authorities. Investigators determined the key belonged to a Jeep that had been abandoned near the Stillwell’s residence.…

Daly City, CA - A woman in California has been charged with torture after she allegedly poured boiling water on her sleeping ex-husband and then whacking him with a baseball bat.
Police say 39-year-old Jesusa Ursonal Tatad and her ex-husband lived together until last month when Tatad reportedly became a tad upset after learning her ex had a new girlfriend. Prosecutors say she waited for the man to return home from a late shift, then dumped a pot of boiling water on him as he slept.
When the poor guy jumped up in excrutiating pain and ran to the bathroom, his psycho ex was waiting for him there wielding a baseball bat. After she clubbed him in the head, the man made it out of the home and flagged down someone who called police.
The man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, suffering from second- and third-degree burns to over 60 percent of his body. Because of his injuries, the man was unable to speak but according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe, he is expected to survive but ‘he’s in for a long, long recovery.’
Tatad is facing life in prison if convicted on charges of aggravated mayhem, assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence as well as torture.…

NAPOLEONVILLE, La. – A couple of men were arrested Sunday after they tracked down a rape suspect and then proceeded to beat him with a baseball bat.
According to reports, police were called to a home after someone said they woke up to find 37-year-old Telly Ross (pictured) sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl who was staying in the home. Ross fled the area before police arrived, and an arrest warrant was issued.
Police would find Ross later that same day while responding to a fight in progress on the same street as the alleged sexual assault. The fight turned out to be Ross on the shit end of the street justice stick. He had been found by 25-year-old Everton Smith and 33-year-old Ramon Johnson who were doling out some punishment with a baseball bat.
Ross was transported to the hospital where he was treated and released before being taken into custody on a charge of simple rape. Smith and Johnson were each charged with aggravated battery. It may not be 100 percent correct, but I did some quick checking and if convicted, Ross is looking at 25 years.…

Lakewood, CA — A 47-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of murder Tuesday, accused of bludgeoning an elderly man to death with a baseball bat in the sporting goods section of the store. Police are calling the attack random and unprovoked.
Surveillance cameras show Richard Lawrence Kalfin wandering the aisles for a short time before the 74-year-old victim even entered the store. Kalfin’s wandering led him to the sporting goods section of the store, where he grabbed an aluminum baseball bat from a display rack.
Kalfin continued walking through the aisles, stopping only when he spotted the 74-year-old victim. Witnesses claim Kalfin asked the man for change, and when he was denied, he started swinging. And he didn’t stop until the victim was good and dead….
“It was very scary — very, very scary, to hear the noise of someone’s life being taken away,” said witness Jennifer Thompson. “Noises like moans and groans … you could hear when he hit him. It was awful, so awful. And then I went around the corner and peeked … and he just walked out like it was nothing.”
Kalfin was arrested at the scene.…

UNIONTOWN, PA — Ice cream truck driver Bernard Geisel, 29, is in jail after he allegedly broke into his boss’s home and attacked him with a baseball bat. The attack was captured on camera.
Pennsylvania State police say Geisel had argued with his boss, George Swaney, at his home Tuesday but had left without being paid. According to reports, after an exchange of phone calls, Geisel returned and used a baseball bat to smash through a rear door.
“All of a sudden I heard a big bang and it sounded like a gunshot. But here it was him with the ball bat. What we saw on the door is he put his foot on the door and hit the ball bat on the window,” said Swaney’s girlfriend.
The video shows that, at first, Geisel has the upper hand. Swaney eventually turns the tables and ends up keeping him pinned until police arrive.
Geisel was arraigned on charges including burglary and simple assault and is currently being held at Fayette County Prison on $25,000 bail.…

Oxford, MI – Not a lot of information on this one, but a 20-year-old woman is hospitalized in critical condition after her father reportedly bludgeoned her with a baseball bat.
The woman’s mother called 911 at about 8:00 Monday morning to report the alleged assault. While she was on the phone with dispatchers, the victim’s 52-year-old father was walking into the cop shop to turn himself in.
According to officers, the unidentified man said that he had just assaulted his daughter with a baseball bat while she was sleeping.
“Not a homicide, and we hope that it doesn’t turn into that,” said Oxford Police Sergeant Michael Solwold. “It’s not a good scene, and we hope that everything does turn out for everybody’s sake.”
Though police say they have had no prior calls to the home, neighbors have said they often heard the father and daughter fighting at night.
The motive behind the attack is unclear at this time. As usual, we’ll keep you updated as more details are made available.

Port St. Lucie, FL – The gentleman sporting the lovely shiner is 42-year-old Stephen Kurtycz – he’s facing charges of aggravated battery after police say he confronted a bothersome neighbor with a baseball bat.
According to the police affidavit, Kurtycz grew angry over a neighbor’s loud music late Tuesday night, and after yelling at ‘em to “turn that (bleep bleep) down,” he apparently grabbed a wooden baseball bat and headed over for a not so friendly chat.
Unable to resolve the matter verbally, police say Kurtycz whacked the woman upside the head so hard the bat splintered. He then reportedly attacked one of the woman’s friends, landing a punch to the eye. At that, the friend grabbed hold of Kurtycz’s bat and popped him a good one in the face, sending him to the ground. After picking himself up and dusting himself off, Kurtycz returned home. He was taken into custody a short time later.
Police say the homeowner has declined to press charges. Speaking of the homeowner, that was either a really cheap ass bat or that woman has a head made of iron.…

OGDEN, Utah – Tyler Grove’s neighbors are calling him a hero today after he used a baseball bat on someone breaking into his home and inadvertently put an end to another man’s crime spree.
Police say that on Friday, 45-year-old Michael Ames entered a South Ogden Key Bank threatening everyone inside with a gun and forcing them into a back room. He fled the scene after bank workers gave him an unknown amount of money he had demanded. Police lost sight of him during a high-speed chase, and Ames used that time to abandon his vehicle and carjacked a woman’s Jeep at gunpoint, only to crash the vehicle a little while later.
That’s when Ames picked the wrong house to break into.
The home belonged to Tyler Grove where he lived with his wife and two children. Grove had grabbed a baseball bat after hearing someone breaking into his home and commenced to give Ames a pretty sound beating. ”Tyler was ready with a baseball bat and I heard he struggled all the way until he chased the guy outside,” said neighbor Rob Cowen.…

March 8, 2011 at 3:08 pm by Morbid
MUNFORD, TN -- As he was being led out of jail, the teenager accused of beating an elderly couple to death with a baseball bat told reporters that he was sorry for what he had done.
Jacob Brown, 16, has been charged with two counts of premeditated first degree murder, two counts of felony first degree murder, and aggravated burglary after police say he brutally murdered 80-year old James Walker and his wife, 75-year old Bertha Walker.
According to TBI agent Mark Reynolds, Brown said that before he murdered the couple, he had been in the Walkers’ house using the bathroom. He apparently left, and later came back with a baseball bat hidden under his coat. Reynolds said Brown never gave a reason for the attack, other than to say he was angry.
But a neighbor of the Walkers’, Scott Locke, testified that he and Brown had conversations about their nosy neighbors. Locke said Brown suggested killing them, but he thought it was a joke. That is until Brown sent a text message that reportedly said, “You wanted your nosy neighbors dead, right?” Then, later that afternoon, Locke said Brown told him, “It’s done.”
Locke would later tell prosecutors the dead couple weren’t even the neighbors he was joking about with Brown.…

Redding, CA- Geoffrey Kelly, 53, is another prime example of why I hate people. Police say Kelly went into a rage last Thursday morning and beat the crap out of his 8-year old son with an aluminum baseball bat. The horrific attack awoke the boy’s mother who told police she found Kelly standing near the boy’s bed. The boy, bloodied and beaten, was taken to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition with life threatening injuries. Kelly was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder…. Kelly’s criminal history includes an incident back in February when he was arrested after threatening officers with a hammer and stabbing himself with a knife. His bail was set at $500,000. I don’t know what was the cause for Kelly to pick up a bat and treat his innocent son to a gruesome version of Whac-A-Mole. Whether it be drugs, anger issues, or mental problems… I have no clue. What I do know is that no kid deserves this shit and I have the feeling Kelly is not going to be such a big hit in prison.

He witnessed his 24 year old grandson, Anthony Rapoport, beat his daughter-in-law, 49 year old Nancy Rapoport, to death with an aluminum baseball bat on Christmas Day. “I haven’t been the same,” Hershel said. “It’s such an upsetting experience I don’t remember details.” According to Hershel, Nancy was upset that day and accused Anthony of stealing her purse and cell phone. Hershel was upstairs when he heard the confrontation escalating and went down to check it out. That was when he saw Anthony raise the bat and come down on Nancy’s head. “She fell immediately,” Hershel Rapoport testified, also stating his grandson hit her in the head a second time while she lay motionless on the floor. Anthony, his clothing stained with blood, was arrested near his home shortly after the attack, charged with first degree murder, and is being held in Cook County jail on an $8 million dollar bond.…

January 3, 2011 at 6:26 am by JadedNew Port Richey, FL – Calvin Kemp was arrested Saturday night for losing his cool and taking matters into his own hands after being repeatedly ding-dong-ditched by a couple of neighborhood kids. The kids apparently hit Kemp’s house several times that evening, and Kemp apparently got pissed. According to police, Kemp stood outside his house and waited for the kids to return. And the kids, obviously too stupid to know that you don’t hit the same damn house twice in one night, didn’t let him down. When they returned to Kemp’s abode, he reportedly jumped out from the shadows and hit one of the kiddos, a 12-year-old boy, in the chest with a baseball bat. Police say he then tied the kid up. What happened after that is anyone’s guess, but there is no report of any serious injury to the child. 54-year-old Kemp is now facing charges of false imprisonment and child abuse. AKRON, Ohio — A jury found an Akron mother guilty of felonious assault after being charged with smacking a teen girl in the face with a baseball bat. Back in April, two teen girls got into an argument. One of the teens went home and told her mother, 38-year-old Shondra Bufford, about the altercation. So Bufford, her two daughters and Bufford’s sister all jumped into a car and drove to the home of the other teenager. Once they arrived, they all piled out with Bufford swinging a baseball bat inquiring who wanted to fight her daughter. Once she identified the teen involved with the argument with her daughter, Bufford hit her in the face with the baseball bat. Police were called and the Bufford clan fled the scene. Police eventually made their way to Bufford’s house where they found the car and the bat used in the assault. Bufford denied any involvement but was arrested and charged with assault. Which brings us to this past Monday when she was found guilty. She will find out her sentence on December 28th.…
Suffolk, VA – Joy Joco put her horses out to graze Monday afternoon and headed into town to run some errands. When she returned home approximately three hours later, one of her horses, a 16-year-old Tennessee Walker named Angel, wasn’t in the pen where she had been left. As Joy approached Angel, she could see blood on the animal’s hindquarters. “I was like, ‘Oh my God!’” Joy said, “I called the vet immediately. He came out and examined and said to me, ‘Joy, do you have any enemies?’ And I said, ‘Not that I know of.’ He said ‘This horse has been raped, you need to call the police.’” The vet believes the horse was sexually assaulted with a blunt object, possibly a baseball bat. And judging by marks found on the horses hind legs, it appears as if she was restrained during the violation. A witness reported seeing a silver Ford “dually” parked in the driveway while the family was gone and Joy said someone cut through a portion of the fence around the pasture to gain access to Angel.…
