Fort Collins, CO - Some things just shouldn’t happen during the holiday season, like telling a child that Santa is a child molester or that the dinner roast is actually Rudolph. In fact, I think no bad things should happen during the one-month period up to and including Christmas. I mean, can’t even the nastiest, meanest sonofabitch take a month off? West Palm Beach, FL–I hate the ’snapped’ defense, it sickens me to even reference it in this article, but it seems to be the only logical(?) explanation for 28-year-old Wendy Harden’s behavior. She went a little nuts Tuesday night and started stabbing and slashing her two children, an 8-year-old girl and an 8-month-old baby boy, with shards of broken glass.

Warren, MI - Tanya Laura Friedly, 32, tried to kill herself and her two children on Tuesday.  And if not for the quick action of Friedly’s 13-year-old son, she probably would have succeeded.   After pulling her kids out of school Tuesday morning, Friedly made the kids hot chocolate laced with prescription drugs.  She then left her son and ten-year-old daughter in the downstairs living room, went upstairs, and set the house on fire.
