ROCKLEDGE, FL – Police say a 36-year-old man brutally beat his stepmother before stuffing her into the trunk of his car.
There are no details regarding what prompted the beating, but the 57-year-old woman told police Thomas Youngman beat her head and face, slammed her head on the garage floor, stuffed her in the trunk of his car and informed her he was going to kill her.
She said Youngman began to drive off, but stopped to open the trunk and take away her cell phone. He then pulled her out of the trunk by her hair and began beating her again. Somehow she was able to escape and run to a neighbor’s for help as Youngman fled the scene.
The woman was taken to the hospital and Youngman was arrested later after he returned home. He was charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with great bodily harm, kidnapping, and resisting a law enforcement official without violence.
This isn’t the first time Youngman has been accused of assaulting his stepmom.…Continue Reading
Lafayette, LA - A woman kidnapped by her violent ex-boyfriend was rescued by family members after they shot and killed her captor.
Last Wednesday, Bethany Arceneaux, 29, was abducted by her estranged boyfriend, Scott Thomas, who is also the father of their 2 year old son. The kidnapping took place in a daycare parking lot as she was picking up their son. A witness observed Bethany screaming, honking the horn and trying to fight off Thomas and begging someone to take the boy. The witness, Derrimetrie Robinson, was able to take the child as Thomas shoved Bethany into his car and sped away.
That evening, police found Thomas’ white Buick near a field with one of Bethany’s shoes in it, but, other than that, there were no new leads and no sign of Bethany, until Friday. That’s when police and family were searching for her in the fields near where Thomas’ Buick was left, and residents gave the family members a tip about an abandoned house in a field nearby. …Continue Reading
Police responding to a call of a battery in progress found the elderly man bleeding from the side of his head and suffering from lacerations to his back. Isaac Tucker told them he was driving when he was flagged down by 28-year-old Sophia Body and another woman.
The man said as he parked behind them to help, he accidentally bumped one of them with his vehicle. When he got out of his car, the two women began beating him and stabbing him with a screwdriver.
“I got out of my car to help, not to offend no one,” Tucker said. “But when I got out of my car, I was attacked, and I was stabbed several times in the back.”
Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Dibler said what happened was that Tucker accidentally struck one of the women as they crossed the street and wouldn’t claim he was flagged down by the women until later. …Continue Reading
Redmond, WA – The ex-wife of Eric Lehtinen arrived at his home Tuesday to pick up their 4-year-old son and found that Lehtinen had attempted to kill the boy by injecting him with heroin.
When the unidentified woman got inside the locked home after a job interview, she found Lehtinen unconscious, as was their son who also had a syringe sticking out of his chest. Both were rushed to the hospital where staff found indications of needle marks on the boy’s neck and buttocks.
Tests would reveal he’d been injected with a drug cocktail of heroin, ketamine, morphine, codeine, and other drugs. The latest reports have him listed in stable condition, but doctors are unsure of what long-term damage the drugs may have caused.
Lehtinen was released from the hospital and sent straight to jail. He did not collect $200. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. He’s being held on $3 million bail after prosecutors described him as a “man who is willing to inject his 4-year-old son with heroin in an attempt to kill the boy” and a “dangerous man willing to do anything.” If convicted, Lehtinen will be looking at a minimum of 15 years behind bars.…Continue Reading
UMATILLA, FL – Florida police say a man kidnapped a 14-year-old girl, strangled her and drove over her with his SUV after she refused to have sex with him for money.
According to police, Adrian Mendez became angry when the teen refused his $200 offer for sex. Not taking no for an answer, Mendez pulled the teen into his Ford Explorer by her hair, then strangled her until she lost consciousness.
About 90 minutes later, someone watched as Mendez intentionally backed over the girl with his vehicle and then sped forward, spinning the tires on her body.
“He was on top of her with the vehicle. And I started screaming at him. He backed up, he literally backed up and hit her again and he went to take off because he heard us screaming at him,” said Shane Green, who had been outside barbecuing. “He hit his brakes and was spinning his tires on top of that little girl.”
When police arrived on the scene, they found the girl on the side of the road. …Continue Reading
Greenwich, CT - A man told police he “lost it” when he bashed his wife’s skull in with a baseball bat inside their mansion after learning she was leaving him.
Police responded to the $7.3 million estate of Michael and Diane DeMaio on Tuesday after receiving a report of a domestic situation with injuries. Once inside, they found Diane, 54, laying in a pool of blood inside a large closet with three ice packs placed under her badly disfigured head.
“What, hello, what’s going on,” she said before closing her eyes. Police tried to put pressure to a large gash on her head, “but felt it was soft”.
Also in the home was Diane’s elderly mother, Gloria Sica, who was screaming that Michael had attacked her daughter. “That monster hit her and she’s dying,” she screamed. An officer drew his gun on Michael and placed him in custody. The 55-year-old would confess to using a baseball bat to bash his wife’s head in.
“I lost it, I just lost it,” he told the officers as he lay handcuffed on the ground, explaining he became enraged shortly after learning his wife was leaving him.…Continue Reading

Police said Kelli Stapleton and her daughter, Isabelle, were found Tuesday after having suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. Kelli was released from the hospital on Thursday, but Isabelle remains unconscious and in critical condition. Doctors fear she may have suffered permanent brain damage.
Matt Stapleton reported his wife and daughter missing Tuesday afternoon after receiving a “disconcerting, despondent” phone message from Kelli and found their van was gone from their home.
Police found mother and daughter unconscious inside the smoke-filled van in a rural area nearby. Kelli had lit a portable charcoal grill inside the van, then locked the doors and closed the windows.
Kelli regained consciousness quickly but has not been forthcoming with police in regards to her motives. Taking a look at her blog, The Status Woe, doesn’t make it too hard to figure out.

LANDOVER, MD - A woman has been accused of breaking into her ex-boyfriend’s home where she tried to kill the man’s 8-year-old son.
Police say 26-year-old Helen Marie Newsome broke into her ex-boyfriend’s home early Saturday morning intent on killing his 8-year-old son. After the boy’s father went to work, Newsome allegedly went into the young boy’s bedroom and attacked him while he was sleeping.
According to Andy Amaya, the boy’s father, Newsome first tried to smother his son with a pillow, but the boy responded by head-butting her. Newsome switched tactics and grabbed a dumbbell she used to hit boy on the head. Andy said that his son takes karate lessons and was able to use some of what he had learned to karate chop Newsome before she came at him with a knife. The boy was able to kick her away and then run to a neighbor’s for help.

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Police say a man in a Florida Best Buy lured a 9-year-old girl into the store’s bathroom where he allegedly beat her and shoved her head in the toilet.
Investigators say the girl was only out of her mother’s sight for a minute or two, but that was all 29-year-old James Tadros needed to get the little girl into the women’s bathroom.
That’s where Tadros reportedly kicked and punched the girl, put a plastic bag over her head and held her head down in the toilet. Authorities say the girl would have been killed had store employees not taken time out from not being able to answer the most basic of technical questions, and walked into the bathroom after hearing the girl’s screams.
“By the grace of God, the customer and employees got in when they did,” Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jay Farhat said. “If it had been any longer this could have been a much worse outcome.”
The employees told police that they looked underneath the handicapped stall and saw Tadros holding the child’s head in the toilet.…Continue Reading
WEST BEND, WI – A West Bend man has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing his ex-girlfriend in a Walmart parking lot.
Police say Craig Hron, 50, ambushed the woman he used to live with in the parking lot of the Walmart on W. Paradise Drive at around 7 a.m. Sunday, slashing her with a knife as she attempted to get into her car.
“We heard this loud, blood curdling screaming. He was full of rage, just punching away, slamming the door against her, dragging her out, trying to get into the driver’s seat,” said Cody Bauer, one of the victim’s co-workers.
According to police, Bauer tried to step in and stop the attack. He was “punching him in the arm, just trying to get in there,” the Good Samaritan said.
Hron had left his own vehicle parked in the lot of a neighboring business and approached the victim, 45, on foot, knowing where she routinely parked. The victim told investigators that Hron also made threats about harming her son while carrying out the attack.…Continue Reading
LAKE WORTH, FL – A Florida woman has been arrested after she allegedly attacked her mother on July 4 and removed both of her mother’s eyeballs with a knife.
No details have been released regarding what sparked the fight between 34-year-old Ferna Quesner and her mother, but police became involved after an anonymous caller informed them that Quesner was “beating her mother with a white pole.”
When deputies arrived at the home, they found Ferna “covered in blood” and her mother, 59-year-old Blonia Quesner, suffering from bleeding in her brain, a broken nose and two broken forearms. Oh yeah, her eyeballs were found “on the kitchen floor near a knife and a large pool of blood,” according to the probable cause affidavit.
“I don’t want to go to prison,” Ferna allegedly told the deputies while pointing toward her unconscious mother. “I was trying to kill the cat and she is the cat,” she added.
Quesner, who suffers from an unknown mental disability, allegedly beat her mother with a lamp pole and barbell weight before using a knife to carve out her eyes.…Continue Reading
WESTWOOD, MA — Police have arrested a woman who they say lost her freakin’ mind and attacked her 9-year-old daughter with a set of electric hedge clippers.
Investigators say 39-year-old Maureen Mullin attacked one of her two daughters inside their home around 5 a.m. Monday. The girl suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries because Mullin’s husband saw what was happening and “interceded in the struggle and prevented further harm from occurring to himself and the two children at the home,” police said.
Mullin was also injured during the attack and was taken to the hospital where she was arraigned in her hospital bed. She is due in court next week where she will face charges of mayhem, attempted murder and assault and battery on a child.
“They are just cute little girls that always seem to be smiling always seem to have good time,” one neighbor said. “What do you hope for in a situation like this? Other than maybe get some answers. But, even once you have the answers what is that really going to do?”
Police Chief Jeffrey Silva stated that violent crimes are not something you see in WWestwood, but pointed out that domestic violence is immune to geography.…Continue Reading
Gainesville, FL – A Gainesville teen has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed his 54-year-old father in the chest because he wanted to know what it felt like to kill a person.
Last Tuesday, 18-year-old Bamboo Flute Blanchard picked up a pocketknife his younger brother had been using and stated, ”I wonder what it would be like to take a life.” Blanchard then rubbed the knife on his chest and said he didn’t think he could “handle it.”
I guess he wanted to test his resolve because afterwards he walked to a bedroom where his father was sleeping, followed by his younger brother, and stabbed the man in the chest with the pocketknife. 911 one was called and the man was taken to the hospital. He was released the next day and is expected to be fine.
Bamboo’s father would later tell investigators he initially thought his son had punched him in the chest before looking down and realized the crazy sumbitch ahd stabbed him.…Continue Reading
Danbury, CT - A 12-year-old student at Broadview Middle School is facing attempted murder charges after police say he brought a knife to school with the intent to kill some of his classmates.
At around 12:30 p.m. Monday, on the last day of the school year, a teacher asked to search the unidentified boy’s backpack. I’ve read a few articles, but some of the details surrounding the teacher’s decision to search this particular boy’s backpack are unclear.
One article says that the boy had threatened some classmates in gym class, while another states the teacher simply felt that something was “off” with the boy. Regardless, when the boy was asked to hand over his backpack, he ran inside a bathroom and threw the knife out a window. When police questioned him later, he told them where the knife was.
None of the articles I read detail anything else the boy told police, but they seem quite confident that the boy brought the knife with the sole intention of harming other classmates.…Continue Reading
PASADENA, MD – A teen in Maryland trying to get out of a simple marijuana charge has now been charged with attempted murder after he dragged a cop with his car.
Brian Hafer’s world turned to shit Monday night after police spotted marijuana in plain view in the vehicle the 18-year-old was driving. Police ordered Hafer and the other occupants in the vehicle to get out of the car, but Hafer refused.
When a detective reached inside to unlock the driver’s door and drag Hafer’s dumbass out of the vehicle, Hafer drove off with the detective’s arm trapped inside and dragged the guy approximately 60 feet before he fell off and into the road.
Other officers chased after Hafer who eventually stopped on Duvall Highway. Hafer’s passenger, 18-year-old Kevin Schofield, showed he had a bit more brains than his friends and was taken into custody without incident.
Hafer still refused to comply with officers and refused to get out of the vehicle. When he was finally pulled out, he became combative and punched and kicked the arresting officers.…Continue Reading
Police were called to a home Tuesday night where they found Barbara Herrara on the ground outside of the home. The 56-year-old was suffering from 12 stab wounds to the cheek, breasts, chest, abdomen, back and shoulders.
Witnesses at the scene told police they saw Herrara fighting with her daughter, Jennifer Alvarado, and that Alvarado was “yelling incoherent statements and stated that she was going to kill (Herrera) because she was evil and possessed by the devil.”
They said that Alvarado had walked off after the attack and pointed in the direction she was headed. Police would find Alvarado walking in the neighborhood nude and covered in blood. After being taken into custody, Alvarado claimed responsibility for her mother’s extra holes, stating she stabbed her because she was “evil and possessed by the devil.”

Redding, CA – I can’t wait to hear the details regarding a disturbing incident out of California in which a man used a radial saw to cut off both of his hands after he stabbed his father multiple times.
Police were called to a home Monday afternoon to find 59-year-old Gregory Dunn lying in his driveway suffering from multiple stab wounds. Also in the driveway was his son, 27-year-old Jason Dunn. He was the person responsible for his father’s current condition, and was standing in the driveway with both of his hands cut off at the wrists.
Investigators say a verbal dispute led to Jason stabbing his father multiple times with a pair of scissors. Afterwards, Jason used a radial saw in the garage to sever both of his hands. Neighbors heard the commotion and a witness called 911, seeing as Jason no longer had the ability to do so. Both father and son were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Neighbors said they didn’t know the Dunn family too well, but would have never expected anything like this happening. …Continue Reading
The poor guy just couldn’t do shit right Friday night when he finally mustered the courage to shoot his defenseless wife with a small caliber handgun. According to police, after shooting her once, the gun malfunctioned and allowed his wife, who thought her husband had hit her with the gun, to jump out of bed and run out of the house.
“She told a neighbor that he had hit her in the face with the gun, but actually he had shot her and she didn’t know it because she was sleeping,” Bradenton Police Chief Michael Radzilowski said. “It must have felt like a massive blow, like a punch, which is why she thought she had been hit with a blunt object.”
While his wife was next door, Pinel jumped into his car clad only in his underwear and sped away.…Continue Reading

BATTLEBORO, NC – Tiara Drake has been accused of trying to poison five of her family members after one of them refused to share some cheese with her.
According to reports, the 24-year-old wanted some of a relative’s cheese on Friday, but the woman refused to give her any. In retaliation for not being given any cheese, Drake waited until the next morning and used a concoction of detergent, window cleaner and a household cleanser to poison the cheese.
When the rest of the family woke up and began to eat the cheese with their breakfast, one of them determined it was tainted and Poison Control was called. Police say medics had four of the family members drink milk to counteract the effects of the chemicals.
Drake seems to be having ongoing issues with her family, with some posts hinting that this latest cheese incident was just the straw that broke the came’s back.
