Authorities report that on NovemberNovember reviews 17, after the two argued, Hanney allegedly attacked his estranged wife, Audrey Mabrey – first clubbing her in the head with a hammer before dousing her with lighter fluid and lighting a match. WitnessesWitnesses reviews report seeing Audrey run from her home, engulfed in flames, to the safety of a neighbor’s house. Audrey, a 26-year-old mother of two very young children, is now hospitalized in critical condition with burns to over 80% of her body. When police arrived on scene, Hanney, 44, was found in the backyard, suffering from burn wounds as well. He was released from the hospital the following day and taken into custody. New Haven, Connecticut - Police have charged 50-year-old Howard Stewart with arson, assault and two counts of risk of injury after he allegedly poured a flammable liquid on his girlfriend, Christina Lee, and set her on fire. She is currently in critical condition suffering from second- and third-degree burns. Could have been worse, as the coward also poured the liquid on his 12-year-old step-daughter. Luckily she woke up and escaped. The second-floor Market Street apartment caught on fire but the girl, showing more bravery and moral character than that piece of shit Stewart, ran back into the home to grab her 3-month-old sister. Stewart? Well he simply fled. This guy not only set someone on fire over an argument, but he poured flammable liquid on a sleeping 12-year-old in an apartment with a sleeping baby in a crib. Classy. Tulsa, OK - Having spent time in prison for sex crimes against children, Johnnie Joe Hobbs had no desire to revisit the Gray Bar Hotel. As a matter of fact, when the convicted sex offender discovered his parole was about to be revoked, he got a little hot under the collar. Tulsa County sheriff’s deputies paid a visit to Johnnie Joe Thursday afternoon to serve three protective orders – tagging along were officers from the state parole board who were there to haul Johnnie Joe back to the slammer on a parole violation. Officers spotted him sitting in a cargo van parked in his cluttered yard – as they approached the vehicle, Johnnie Joe slammed the door, doused the inside of the van with gasoline and lit it up. Huron Township – This is one of the most horrifyingly callous stories I have written about in a while. I have read through about 15 different articles and got sicker the entire time. Sharon Hinojosa, 29, lived in a mobile home with her boyfriend Justin Whisler. Early Friday morning, the mobile home caught fire. Hinojosa was able to escape the blaze with the 1-year-old she shared with Whisler. Sadly,her two other children she had with another man, 4-year-old Anthony, and 3-year-old Alayna, perished in the flames — despite attempts by neighbors to rescue them. Now police have charged Hinojosa with setting the fire and purposely leaving her two children to burn alive. Phoenix, AZ - Terry Neely, 46, was last seen in his motorized wheelchair leaving his home at an assisted living complex on the evening of AugustAugust reviews 2. The next time anyone laid eyes on Neely, he was a charred and dismembered body left burning in a trash can. (Really folks, what’s with all the fires lately? Damn). Judging by the information being released, Neely didn’t go quickly or quietly – he had been systematically tortured for as many as three days. Now, who the hell would be so callous and cruel as to pick on a defenseless disabled guy? Clermont, FL – Writing a story about some asshole setting his current/ex girlfriend on fire is nothing new – sadly enough, it happens more than one might think it would. What is shocking about this particular story is not only the violence of the act, but the ages of the parties involved – just 14 and 15-years-old. Calva Haskell, 15, is accused of stabbing 14-year-old Taylor Mack several times before squirting some kind of flammable liquid on her and setting her on fire. At about 5:30 Wednesday morning, Taylor snuck out of her house to meet and talk with Calva, who is believed to be her ex-boyfriend. The topic of the conversation is unknown, but, shortly after the two met, Taylor was running to a neighbor’s home screaming for help. After the attack, Calva returned home, where he was later arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder. Calva has no previous criminal history, is said to be a popular kid, and is active in school and sports. What the fuck happened in this kid’s brain to set him off like that? Authorities don’t have a motive as of yet, but, friends of both kids seem to think it’s because Calva had moved on after the relationship, had already hooked up with another girl, and was upset that Taylor still had feelings for him. Officials report that Taylor is listed in serious condition – the details and extent of her injuries are unknown. I’ll update this story as more details become available.

Athens, GA – Back in September of 2001, Phillip Scruggs got all pissed off and stabby with his girlfriend, Elisa Davenport. He kidnapped her, stabbed her a few times, and left her for dead. Elisa had luck on her side and managed to survive the attack. Scruggs was arrested, charged with kidnapping, kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault, and violating the state Family Violence Act. As part of a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery. Scruggs received a slap on the wrist for the violent assault and was sentenced to three years in prison and seven years of probation. While he did his time, Elisa recovered and got on with her life. And, according to her family, she was doing very well without the stabby bastard. I guess the stabbing wasn’t enough to derail the relationship – the couple picked up where they left off when Scruggs was released from prison in 2004. Portland, OR - Break-ups, most of the time, suck ass. Though sometimes a break-up could be considered cause for celebration, there is usually one ‘injured’ party in the situation -  the ass who is the most ass hurt in the whole thing. The ass in this story is Cory Vaughn. Wednesday evening, Cory allegedly got a little rough with his girlfriend’s puppy. When his girlfriend stepped up to protect her critter, Cory turned his anger on her. The girlfriend told authorities that Cory slapped her, pushed her down, and tried to choke her. Cory eventually fled the apartment, and the girlfriend, knowing that Cory had a key to her home and may return to finish the job, left to spend the night with a friend. A short time later, a neighbor called to inform her that her apartment was on fire. Tulsa, OK – Just like the old saying, “play with  fire and you’re bound to get burned,” 33-year old Nicole Partridge learned a horrific lesson on just how bad being involved with meth can be. Around 2 p.m. this last FridayFriday reviews, police received a 911 call from Partridge after a domestic dispute with her 23-year old boyfriend, Kenneth McCurley. They found Partridge outside a residence critically burned, from the neck down. Schenectady, NY- From the very beginning the police suspected arson. Around 4:30 a.m. on June 13, firefighters responded to call of a burning apartment building. The brave firefighters risked their lives as they fought through the smoke and the flames inside the burning structure searching for helpless victims. It was on the second floor in a bedroom where they found 10-year old Avion Bell lying on the floor. Once outside, the firefighters had to resuscitate Avion twice before she was taken to the hospital. From there she was flown to Westchester Medical Center to be treated for smoke inhalation and listed in critical condition. The three firefighters who rescued Avion were also injured. Out of the three, Capt. Douglas Faulisi, 38, suffered the worst and may be off the job for up to a year due to a seriously injured hand. [Read more...]
