Cops Say Angelo Capria Emailed Nude Pics Of Ex To 400 Students At Her CollegeChalfont, PA – Talk about an ex-boyfriend from hell. Police say that 23-year-old Angelo Capria sent nude photos of his ex-girlfriend to hundreds of people at her college and set her car on fire.

Police were first alerted to Capria’s activities after his ex-girlfriend’s father called to report his daughter received a Facebook message from another student alerting her that a mass email containing nude photos of her had been sent to nearly 400 students.

The photos where allegedly taken without the girl’s knowledge during a Skype call between her and Capria in February 2011. They were pretty sure Capria was the person responsible as he’d threatened to show people the photos two weeks before the mass email was sent out.

When police spoke to the man’s daughter, she said her relationship with Capria started going in the shitter after she chose to spend 2010 New Year’s Eve with a friend. She said Capria was so angry over this that he called her more than 100 times that night, leaving obscene messages and claiming he’d thrown out all her belongings.…

Aaron Schaffhausen Claims He Was Insane When He Slit His Daughters ThroatsHUDSON, WI – Last week, Aaron Schaffhausen admitted that on July 10, 2012, he slit the throats of his three daughters, 11-year-old Amara, 8-year-old Sophie and 5-year-old Cecilia.

He is currently on trial as his attorneys try to convince a jury that he was insane at the time of the murders and not just a vindictive asshole out to hurt his ex-wife in the worst way possible.

Aaron and Jessica Schaffhausen were divorced in January 2012. Aaron relocated to North Dakota, but on the morning of the murders, Aaron texted Jessica asking if he could see his daughters. Jessica agreed, but told him she wanted him gone before she arrived home from work.

Within two hours of arriving at the home and greeting his daughters, he had slit their throats and placed each of them in their beds. He then called his ex-wife at work and informed her he’d just killed their daughters before walking into a police station covered in blood. The recording of Jessica’s 911 call was played in court.…

Amy Ochetto Accused Of Setting House On Fire With Daughter InsideEGG HARBOR TWP., NJ – Police in New Jersey have accused Amy Ochetto of intentionally setting her home on fire while her 12-year-old daughter was still inside.

Sometime around 12:24 a.m. Tuesday, police and fire crews responded to a house fire call on Windwood Drive in the Cardiff section of the township. They would find Ochetto’s home on fire and helped get the woman’s daughter out of the home without injury, along with 41-year-old Yeser Bekete.

The Cardiff and Bargaintown fire companies were able to extinguish the blaze and later determined that the fire had been intentionally set. Detectives got involved and would accuse Amy Ochetto of using a flammable liquid to intentionally set the fire while her daughter and Bekete were still inside the house.

Ochetto was arrested and charged with aggravated arson, two counts of aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held on $100,000 cash bail. Police have not revealed why they believe Ochetto set fire to the house.

Some have wondered why Ochetto was not charged with attempted murder if she set the fire knowing there were occupants in the house.…

Police Looking For Man Accused Of Setting Girlfriend On FireSan Francisco, CA – Police in San Francisco are looking for 22-year-old Dexter Oliver after they say he set his girlfriend on fire during an argument over laundry.

On Sunday, 25-year-old Starr Lamare was with Oliver at a local laundromat. The couple had only been dating for six months and, according to friends, they argued frequently. On this particular day the couple were arguing over clothes.

“My sister wanted to leave her clothes at the laundromat so they could get washed but he didn’t want to leave them there,” said Lamare’s sister, Precious Craig. “She said she does it all the time, but he got mad and threw the clothes down.”

Oliver left the laundromat but returned shortly after with a container of gas that he used to douse Lamare before setting her on fire. Oliver grabbed her purse and fled the scene on foot. A screaming Lamare was able to remove a burning sweater she was wearing, and began running the few blocks home.

Emergency crews picked her up and rushed her to the burn unit of St. Francis Memorial Hospital.…

Professor Planned Mass Murder At High School After Sons SuicideSanta Ana, CA - A California professor, grief-stricken over the recent suicide of his high school son, was allegedly plotting a rampage at the high school where his son attended, planning to kill teachers and administrators before burning down the building.

Rainer Reinscheid, a professor at the University of California for the last 12 years, has been charged with setting five fires on the campus of University High  School, in Mason Park Preserve, and at a school administrator’s home. It was after he was released on bond that investigators found these fires may have been the beginning of a much more sinister plot.

They say that e-mails found on Reinscheid’s cell phone contained a detailed mass murder plot against University High School.

“He is accused of writing a graphic, detailed emails,” Orange County Deputy District Attorney Andrew Katz told MyFoxLA.com,  ”In which he laid out plans to purchase guns, murder unnamed students and named administrators, burn the school to the ground, commit acts of sexual assault and kill himself.”

Investigators say the motive may have been revenge against the people he felt responsible for his 14-year-old son’s suicide in March.…

After Getting Kicked Out Of Bar, Man Barricades Exit And Sets It On FireHOUSTON, TX – Police have arrested a man for allegedly barricading a populated bar’s exit and then setting the bar on fire.

On the night of April 19, 30-year-old Jaime Mata and his buddy, known only as “Pepe,” were kicked out of an East Houston nightclub, the East End Bar, for fighting with staff.

Apparently they felt that if they weren’t to be allowed a full night’s fun, no one else should be either. Witnesses state that as the pair were being ejected, Mata called out the subtle warning, “This place is gonna burn!”

Mata and Co. left and fetched some gasoline from a nearby Conoco station. They then returned to the bar where, as is clearly seen in surveillance video, a shirtless man with ‘Mata’ emblazoned on his back (and tits bigger than mine) accompanied by an equally shirtless friend, closes the burglar bars over the front door of the bar. He then wedges a large piece of wood between the burglar gate and the ground, effectively jamming it closed.

Further video shows the men rounding the building and pouring the gasoline along the bar’s back wall and rear exit, then lighting it. Lucky for patrons and staff, the building was equipped with a third door and everyone was able to safely evacuate.…

Man Critically Burned After Wife Uses Gasoline For Hot Oil MassageAustin, TX - A man is in a medically-induced coma in a hospital burn unit after his wife allegedly used a ruse of giving him a “hot oil massage” to douse him in gasoline and light him up. Police identified multiple ways that they believe she attempted to keep him from getting aid.

On Tuesday night, police responded to a disturbance call at the apartment that Shriya Biman Patel, 25, shared with her husband. Police say they found a naked man lying on the floor screaming in pain with severe burns over 70% of his body. Patel was also in the apartment when they arrived.

According to the victim, he had undressed and gotten into the bathtub under the guise of a promise by his wife to give him a hot oil massage. Investigators found candles placed around the bathroom presumably to create a romantic ambiance. The victim said, then – when he entered the tub – Patel poured what the man believed to be oil on him. He told investigators the next thing he knew, he was on fire.…

Man Accused of Playing Baseball With Heads Of Decapitated CatsANDERSON, Ind. – A homeless man who allegedly set fire to his aunt’s house was arrested after being found “playing baseball” with the heads of decapitated cats.

According to reports, 32-year-old Danny Davis has a host of mental issues and hasn’t been taking his medications. He has been living with his aunt for a few weeks, but she had recently asked him to leave.

In response, Davis killed the family cat with a shovel before decapitating it with a knife. He then used gasoline to set fire to the back porch of his aunt’s house. Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control and no one was injured — aside from the cat.

Police located Davis among the crowd of people standing outside to watch the show, but he took off running. This WISHTV article simply says he was Tased and taken into custody. But others, like the one I linked to earlier, say that before he was taken into custody he was located a short distance away with a baseball bat, using the heads of cats as baseballs.…

Mom Admits Setting Fire, Tom And Jerry Off The Hook For NowOmaha, NE – On Saturday, Jaded reported on the two brothers, ages 10 and 12-years-old, who were charged with arson and assault after a fire they set severely injured their mother’s boyfriend.

Early reports were saying the kids didn’t mean to hurt anyone when they ignited the ring of gasoline they had poured around the bed their mother and her boyfriend were sleeping in, they were just mimicking a Tom and Jerry cartoon they had watched.

Their mother, 30-year-old Tanesha Beard, woke up and was able to get herself and her children out of the house unharmed but her boyfriend, 37-year-old Jermain Westbrook, wasn’t so lucky. She wasn’t able to rouse him and he had to be rescued by firefighters. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition suffering from  smoke inhalation and third-degree burns to nearly half of his body.

The discussions immediately centered around cartoon violence and how this really isn’t anything new as violent media has taken the blame for the actions of children since the day violent media existed. Violent cartoons, movies and video games have often been offered as scapegoats in the news, the reason why a parent’s little angel set another kid on fire.…

Did Cartoon Inspire Children To Set Fire To Moms Bed?Omaha, NE – A 10-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother were charged with arson this week for starting a fire that left their mother’s boyfriend in critical condition, suffering burns to nearly half his body.

According to prosecutors, the alleged firebugs and their two siblings had been left in the care of an uncle Thursday evening, while mom and her boyfriend went out partying. The couple returned home shortly before the fire started and went to bed.

After watching an episode of Tom and Jerry at about 4:30 Friday morning, prosecutors say the dangerous duo poured a ring of gasoline around the bed where their mother and her boyfriend, 37-year-old Jermain Westbrook, were sleeping, then set it on fire.

Mom, Tanesha Beard, awoke immediately, but was unable to rouse her sleeping beau. Beard and the children managed to escape the home unharmed.

Westbrook, however, wasn’t so lucky. Firefighters rescued him from the second-story bedroom, but not before he had suffered smoke inhalation and third-degree burns to nearly half of his body.

At a juvenile court hearing later that same day, Beard apparently interrupted the proceeding and declared that she was the one that set the fire.…

Woman Burns To Death In Elevator After Man Sets Her On FireNew York, NY – Things seem to happen in threes around here, and horrifying elevator deaths are no exception. Within the last week or so, we’ve reported on two separate incidents of women becoming the victim of a malfunctioning elevator and dying in a way best reserved for the worst of nightmares.

On Saturday, a 73-year-old woman in New York died in an elevator, but this was not because of a mechanical malfunction. The poor woman was murdered in one of the most horrifying ways imaginable after a man sprayed her with with a flammable liquid and then set her on fire.

Surveillance footage captures Delores Gillespie as she is about to step out of an elevator on the fifth floor of her apartment building when 47-year-old Jerome Isaac barges in wearing what looks like an exterminator’s outfit. He immediately begins spraying Gillespie in the face and body with some type of flammable liquid from a canister he is carrying.

As the elderly woman retreats to the back of the elevator in an attempt to protect herself, Isaac lights a rag stuffed inside a bottle and uses the flame to set Gillespie on fire before tossing the Molotov cocktail into the elevator.…

Mother Convicted Of Burning Children Alive Gets Life In PrisonDETROIT, MI – Two years ago I posted about Sharon Hinojosa, the 29-year-old woman accused of intentionally setting fire to her mobile home with her two children inside, killing them both. Earlier this month she was convicted of first-degree murder in the deaths of Anthony, 4, and Alayna, 3. Yesterday she was sentenced to life in prison.

For those of you who missed this, back in October 2009, Hinojosa escaped from the blazing mobile home she shared with her boyfriend, clutching the couple’s 1-year-old. She left her two children from a different man inside the trailer and they would die screaming in the flames.

Her actions on the night of the fire immediately drew suspicion. She didn’t scream for help until the fire was well underway, and one neighbor said she didn’t mention her other two kids until asked. Even after informing would-be rescuers her two children were inside, she wouldn’t provide specific details as to where they were in the mobile home they may be. Neighbors tried their best to rescue the two children who were still alive as the trailer went up in flames.…

Man Threatens Fiancée Flambe After Being Denied Drinking MoneyOrlando, FL – Late Friday night, John Luther, 31, and his fiancée had returned from dinner and drinks when he asked for money to go out, according to police. She reportedly claimed to be broke and went to bed. Bitch.

Police records state Luther responded by dousing the woman’s head with gasoline and igniting her pillow with a lighter. The record goes on to say that Luther then started to “put the fire out with his hands” and “left the residence … to go out drinking.” The fiancée reportely went to the living room and fell asleep with her dog. I am guessing because her pillow was all burned and everything…

According to the arrest report, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours later Luther returned to the residence and – in an intoxicated state – woke his fiancée to advise her that the house was full of smoke.

Police arriving at the couple’s home noted “extensive structural (fire) damage” to a corner of the house and the woman smelling of gasoline.…

Man Firebombs Taco Bell Because His Chalupas Had Too Little MeatAlbany, GA — Police are searching for an unsatisfied customer accused of hurling a badly crafted Molotov cocktail at the drive-thru window of a Taco Bell restaurant shortly after phoning in a complaint that there was not enough meat in his XXL Chalupa.

According to the police report, the disgruntled man purchased two of the XXL’s earlier that evening. Upon returning home, he apparently realized he had been gypped and quickly dialed the restaurant to bitch.

Restaurant manager Cynthia Thomspon took the call, later telling police the man demanded that she correct his order. When told that the eatery was closing for the evening and his demands could not be met, the man reportedly replied, “You must be one of them n*ggers up there.” He added, “That’s alright, I’ll just come and redecorate the place.” Man Firebombs Taco Bell Because His Chalupas Had Too Little Meat

A short time later, there was a hint of gasoline in the air. Though Thompson and other employees could smell it, they didn’t know where it was coming from. It didn’t take them long (I hope) to find the source of the smell – it was coming from the fire right outside the drive-thru window.…

Suspect In Teens Disappearance Charged With Attempted MurderFORT COLLINS, Colo. – You just can’t keep a good psycho down it seems. Travis Forbes, 33, is a suspect in the disappearance of 19-year-old Kenia Monge who went missing back in April. Now he is in jail after police say he sexually assaulted a woman before attempting to kill her.

Forbes had been in jail on unrelated vehicle theft charges but was released when those charges were dropped. Six days later police say Forbes physically assaulted a 30-year-old woman inside her apartment. The woman escaped by jumping from a second-story bedroom window after Forbes intentionally set the place on fire.

He was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder, sex assault, assault, arson and aggravated motor vehicle theft. Hopefully police can keep him behind bars where they wanted him, as they are pretty sure he has murdered Monge.

Monge disappeared April 1 after leaving a Denver nightclub, leaving behind her purse and cell phone. Forbes has admitted he gave Monge, who he claims was drunk, a ride to a Denver gas station where he says she left with another man.…

Indiana Woman Charged With Burning Her Father AliveWAYNE COUNTY, Indiana — I was just about to write up the lame story regarding EquuSearch suing Casey Anthony when I noticed a much more interesting story in a sidebar. A woman in Indiana has been charged with murder after admitting to burning her father alive.

Court records show 30-year-old Nina Holbrook intentionally set her 50-year-old father on fire and admitted to doing it. She told investigators that she called Carl Holbrook to her bedroom where she splashed a cup of camper fuel into his face, then shoved a lit candle into his chest. After setting her father on fire, she climbed out her bedroom window, crossed a field and began walking down the road.

A person who was to meet Carl at the house found him with most of his clothes burned off and suffering burns to most of his body. He would be taken to the hospital, but would later die from his injuries. Carl was able to tell people that it was his daughter who set him on fire, but it really wasn’t necessary.…

Teen Charged With Duct Taping Siblings, Setting House On FireGuadalupe, AZ — Got a real quick update for ya on those kids that were found bound in tape inside a burning home last week. Police have reason to believe their 17-year-old sister was the responsible party.

Sadie Johnson was arrested Tuesday and is looking at charges of arson, kidnapping, child endangerment and discharge of a weapon within city limits. Seems the teen was pissed at her mom and took it out on the little ones.

As you may recall, when firefighters responded to the home on June 22, they found three children in the home - a 4-year-old girl in the bedroom and a 1-year-old and 2-year-old in the bathroom. The younger two children had been gagged and bound with masking or duct tape.

Johnson initially told firefighters that two armed men broke into the house, trashed it and set fire to the couch. She said she tried to save the kids, but she fainted. When she came to, she tried to douse the flames with a garden hose.

When questioned further, Johnson’s story started to fall apart….…

Firefighter Arrested For Serial Porta Potty Arson Fayetteville, NC - Edward Colmon Williams and Harold Merideth Starling, Jr., both 20, were arrested after detectives participating in a sting operation say they saw the men approaching a porta-potty with lighters, diesel fuel, and cardboard.  …and that can only mean one thing: feces flambé.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Arson Investigation Team has been plagued with a veritable shitstorm of portable toilet fires since April – more than 17 in all.  The most recent was Tuesday morning at a local church. The fire damaged the church, melting the vinyl siding on one end of the building.

A church member estimated the damage to the church alone to be $3,500.  We can only speculate on the cost of a porta-john, but I think that it can safely be said that are worth a shitload.

Williams and Starling were charged with multiple counts of burning personal property and burning of a church. They were processed into the Cumberland County jail under separate $12,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear in court next Wednesday afternoon.…

Man Arrested After Beating, Shooting, Setting Fire To NeighborBaton Rouge, LA — Theodis Guillory, 28, was taken into custody late last week after police say he beat, shot and set fire to his neighbor.

According to police, Guillory beat the man with a board and shot him in the chest before dousing him with gasoline and lighting him up early Friday morning.

The victim, identified only as a 51-year-old man, somehow survived the attack and was able to run to a neighbor’s home to get help. He’s been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The why’s and the what for’s are still unknown at this point, but if I had to speculate, I’d say it probably had something to do with the neighbor’s musical taste and/or dog shit.

Guillory has been booked on charges of attempted murder and aggravated arson.…

Man Stabs Girlfriend After Failing To Set Her On FirePALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Police have charged a man with attempted murder after he tried to set his girlfriend on fire before stabbing her in the chest.

The unidentified woman says that a few days after kicking out her boyfriend, Michael P. Sutherland, for not paying any bills, she was awakened by a noise and found that her front door was open. As she went to close it, someone dumped gasoline on her head.

She turned around to see her boyfriend standing there trying to light a lighter. Fortunately for her, the lighter would only spark. The two began struggling when Sutherland grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her in the chest. “Not today,” she told Death and somehow was able to get away, call 911 and drive herself to the hospital. She is expected to survive.

Deputies stopped Sutherland after they found him walking down the road shirtless, smelling like gas. Sutherland told the officers that he had tried to set his girlfriend on fire, but the lighter didn’t work, and that he was currently on his way to a friend’s house where he planned to hang himself.…
