Christopher Payne Put His Kids in Storage

Tucson, AZ – It’s a relatively common phenomenon–someone signs an agreement for a rental storage unit, gets assigned a space, stows his stuff…and then doesn’t keep up with the payments. It happened in Tucson at a rental facility called the U-Store-It, and in February 2007, the unit in question got cleaned out.

Among other items, employees found a plastic tub. A plastic tub that smelled horrible. The tub and the unit’s other contents went into the trash dumpster. Apparently at least one employee worried over that tub overnight, because the next day, police were called to investigate.
