Randy Lee Blanchard Charged With Murder

Nashua, Iowa -  On Wednesday, February 5, six-day-old Aliya Blanchard was taken to Floyd County Memorial Hospital.  DoctorsDoctors reviews evaluated the baby and transferred her to Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.   Doctors there called police to tell them that baby Aliya Blanchard has “injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome”.   Convenant immediately transferred Aliya to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, where she died on  Monday.
