Death Wants Shannon Broome
December 3, 2009 by Morbid
JACKSONVILLE, Florida - This is a story that sounds like it came from one of the “Final Destination”Final Destination reviews
films. Back in June, 15-year-old Shannon Broome was involved in an SUV roll-over that claimed the life of four of her friends while on a trip to the beach. On the last day of school, nine students climbed into an SUV driven by 15-year-old Brandon Hodges. While on I-295, the SUV blew a tire and rolled, ejecting all the occupants except for Hodges. Shannon was one of the lucky occupants who survived, suffering a broken leg (read all the news4jax reports on that accident). Now almost 6 months later to the day, Shannon is back in the hospital after suffering injuries from another crash involving an SUV, one that plowed through her bedroom as she lay sleeping. Police have charged 19-year-old Steven Nicholas Bryant with careless driving after he admitted he lost control of his vehicle while texting. Broome suffered non-life-threatening injuries including a broken pelvis and ribs as well as re-breaking the leg that was broke in the I-295 crash. [Read more...]

Michael Stevens Commits Suicide After Traffic Accident
December 2, 2009 by Morbid
Spokane, Washington – On Tuesday afternoon, a pickup driven by 57-year-old Michael Stevens rear-ended a construction truck. Derek Helt witnessed the accident and went over to see if he could help the two drivers. When he noticed that Stevens had blood coming from his mouth, he called 911. Helt then went back over to Stevens and asked if if he was doing alright. Stevens asked if 911 had been called and when Helt turned away after confirming that 911 had been called, Stevens pulled out a gun shot himself. I tried to find out some more information on this one, but aside from the source article, I couldn’t find a damn thing. Was hoping some commentors out there could give some insight into the man and what may have led up to him committing suicide after an accident. [Read more...]

CHANDLER, Arizona – A 3-year-old girl has died after the lid to her toy box fell closed, hitting her in the head. Officials say the girl was reaching inside the toy box for a toy when the lid closed hitting her head “‘on the wrong spot” and sending her into cardiac arrest. Paramedics arrived on the scene and tried to resuscitate the girl, but were not able to. “I’ve been a paramedic for almost 30 years and I’ve seen this event just three times with a toy box. I can’t stress enough that this is just a tragic, tragic accident,” said Chandler Fire Battalion Chief Paul Nies. You know, I am aware that the top of the skull on young kid’s are not fully…cooked…or whatever. But I’ve honestly never thought of this kind of thing happening. Imagine looking after your kid making sure they are not put in harm’s way unnecessarily, keeping them safe and sound. Only to have them die like this. [Read more...]

Girl Is Crushed To Death After Slipping Under Train
November 25, 2009 by Morbid
UK – We’ve all seen it before in movies or television. The loved one running alongside a departing train blowing kisses or waving at someone inside staring back at them through a window. How nice. But in the case of 16-year-old Megan Moore, this innocent act turned horrific. She had gotten off the train, and as it was leaving, she began running beside it tapping on the window waving goodbye to her friends. She was wearing high-heels and slipped into the gap between the train and the platform. The train stopped immediately, but it was too late. Her friends have set up a memorial Facebook Page for her.

November 18, 2009 by Morbid
Hardeeville, SC – A car attempted to get around the gate arms of a S.C. railroad track. Making a fatal miscalculation, the driver was plowed by an Amtrak train en route from CharlestonCharleston reviews
, South Carolina, to Savannah. The car became wedged on to the front of the train and dragged the car for about a mile before stopping. A Moment Of Silence Please
September 4, 2009 by Morbid
When I woke up today, I never thought that within hours, I would lose a very big part of my life – but that is exactly what happened. Nothing can ever come close to explaining the loss I feel right now, especially after losing you in such an unforeseen, violent accident. Sadder still is the fact that it is all my fault. This is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life and I shudder at that thought. Five years ago you came to my house with some stupid E-Tard for an after-party I was throwing. You were here the next morning waiting for me and never left. I am not going to lie, I have had many of you, but none that stuck around like you did, and fit me so well that I NEVER thought of another. That is why this loss is hitting me in the gut like a sledgehammer and I cannot believe this has happened. [Read more...]

Patricia Ingalls is the Drunken Clown
May 26, 2009 by Unamused
Wheeling, West Virginia - I never have liked clowns. I always found them to be creepy. They wait for you to go to sleep at night, then eat you. I don’t have much use for drunks either, especially behind the wheel. You might call Patricia Ingalls the drunken hit and run clown. [Read more...]

January 11, 2009 by Ruby
…and almost squished her baby.
Ladwaina Barron
Lehigh Acres, FL - Some days, nothing goes right and you just wish you had stayed in bed. It seems Ladwaina Barron had one of those days on Thursday, as she plopped her 7-month-old in her car seat, but didn’t buckle her in, put the car seat in the car, in the FRONT seat and didn’t buckle that in either, and then drove into a school bus. Uh huh, should have stayed in bed. [Read more...]

Toddler Falls To Her Death At Grand Canyon
October 10, 2007 by Morbid

PHOENIXPhoenix reviews
– A 4-year-old girl was being closely supervised as she toured the Grand CanyonGrand Canyon reviews
with her family. Being watched like a hawk by her observant parents, seeing as they were just North of Mather Point and at a location that has sections edge that has no railing, the little girl somehow plunged 500 ft to her death. She was pronounced dead at the scene and the parents will at least find some solace in the fact that their little girl may be the youngest person to ever die at the Canyon from a fall.
May this also be a lesson to all parents, including myself. When walking around the edge of the FREAKIN’ GRAND CANYON, especially any section that has NO RAILING, be sure to not let your toddler run around freely.
