VENICE, Calif. - As a group of members of the Catholic Church of St. Mark where leaving Sunday services, an SUV plowed into them killing a 28-year-old woman and injuring a 2-year-old girl, seriously injuring her 35-year-old mother and a 45-year-old woman, and critically injuring a 38-year-old man, who was pinned underneath the vehicle.
Toddler Falls To Her Death At Grand Canyon
PHOENIX - A 4-year-old girl was being closely supervised as she toured the Grand Canyon with her family. Being watched like a hawk by her observant parents, seeing as they were just North of Mather Point and at a location that has sections edge that has no railing, the little girl somehow plunged 500 ft to her death. She was pronounced dead at the scene and the parents will at least find some solace in the fact that their little girl may be the youngest person to ever die at the Canyon from a fall.
May this also be a lesson to all parents, including myself. When walking around the edge of the FREAKIN’ GRAND CANYON, especially any section that has NO RAILING, be sure to not let your toddler run around freely.
