College Student Joshua Measroch Hid 13 Year Old Girl In His Room For A MonthCobb County, GA – A 13-year-old girl missing for a month was found hiding in the room of a 21-year-old man she’d met over the Internet.

Cobb County College student Joshua Measroach, 21, apparently used social media to convince a 13 year old girl to come with him after communicating online for three months. On May 2nd, Joshua drove the 50 mile distance to the girl’s Newton County home to pick her up and take her with him back to his room in Cobb County. The incident was initially thought to be a runaway situation as several of the girl’s personal effects were taken from her room.

The girl’s parents helped police with the investigation noting she was an avid user of social media websites. It’s undoubtedly through her online activities that police were able to find the girl holed up with Joshua Measroach. It’s there the girl and Joshua had engaged in various sexual acts during her month-long stay. It’s unclear whether she was being held against her will, but considering she went willingly with him, I have a feeling she was there on her own accord – at least initially.…

Michael Klunder Abducted Two Girls Then Kills Self; One Girl Still MissingDAYTON, IA – The search for 15-year-old Kathlynn Shepard is still ongoing after she and a 12-year-old girl were both abducted by 42-year-old Michael Klunder, a registered sex offender who committed suicide hours after the younger girl escaped.

Authorities say Klunder abducted the two girls after they got off a school bus on Monday, luring the girls into his truck with the promise of them making money cutting grass. He then took the girls to a hog confinement farm about 15 miles south of Dayton.

There’s not a lot of details regarding what happened once the girls were at the farm, but the younger girl somehow managed to escape Klunder and make a run for it. She ended up at a neighboring farm where two men found the girl as she was crawling to them underneath a wire fence.

She was wearing shorts and a T-shirt, but had no shoes. She also had a thick zip tie cable around one of her wrists that one of the men cut free before grabbing a gun and running towards the hog confinement facility.…

Mother Of Abducted Girl Chases Down Suspect, Rams Him With Car ALBUQUERQUE, NM –  Would-be kidnapper David Jesus Hernandez is in custody after a New Mexico mother, alerted by a group of teenagers that he’d just taken her 4-year-old daughter, chased the man down, ramming his vehicle with her own.

The woman, who wasn’t identified, apparently didn’t know that the 31-year-old kidnapper had shoved the girl out of the car before the chase began.

“Albuquerque police Chief Ray Schultz said neighbors began yelling, which is what made the suspect push the child out of his car,” KOAT TV reported.

KQRE reported that the mother was in contact with Albuquerque police during the hot-civilian-pursuit, which started shortly after six p.m. on Indian School Rd, near the family’s apartment.

The chase lasted all the way through the North Valley and finished in the Southeast Heights, when the feisty mom went all Grand-Child-Theft-Auto on Hernandez, and slammed her car into his. Hernandez abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot.

Police launched a manhunt which included more than two dozen officers going door-to-door in efforts to locate Hernandez, as well as a helicopter equipped with heat-seeking capabilities.…

Police Searching For Man Who Grabbed Girl Off Street, Threw her In Trunk Of CarSACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA – Police in Sacramento are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who grabbed a 7-year-old girl walking with her mother and threw her in the trunk of a car before driving off.

According to reports, the girl was walking with her mother Saturday afternoon when a man pulled up to them in a dark green or blue four-door Sedan with tinted windows. He got out of his car, snatched the girl in broad daylight, then tossed her in the trunk before speeding off. Luckily, the girl was able to escape because when the man tried shutting the trunk, her foot kept the lid from closing all the way.

Christina Covey said she heard tires screeching and ran out of her house to see what was going on. She saw the girl laying on the ground after she had tumbled out of the trunk of the suspect’s car, which was still nearby. The girl got up and ran to Covey and her husband telling them, “he stole me; he stole me.”

By this time, the man had already taken off in his car and rounded a corner.…

Jessica Heeringa Disappeared From Late Night Shift at Gas Station, Police Asking For Publics HelpNORTON SHORES, MI – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding 25-year-old Jessica Heeringa, an Exxon Mobil gas station attendant believed to have been abducted from her job.

Heeringa made her last sale at 11 p.m. Friday night, but 15 minutes later a concerned customer called police to report there were no employee at the open gas station.

According to Heeringa’s mother, her daughter’s purse and keys were found in the store and their was evidence she had been preparing to close up the store.

“She was going to get out in 15 minutes,” Shelly Heeringa, Jessica’s mother, told ABC News. “In 15 minutes that store would’ve been closed and she would’ve been on her way home.”

Norton Shores Police Chief Daniel Shaw said it does not appear robbery was the motive, as the store’s cash drawer was left untouched.

There are no surveillance cameras at the gas station, which I bet won’t be the case for much longer, so police are asking for the public’s help.

Norton Shores Police Department have received one tip that has investigators searching for a silver minivan, possibly a Chrysler Town & Country, that was last seen in the area prior to Heeringa’s disappearance.…

Body Of Alicia Moore Found In Trunk On Side of RoadGreenville, TX – The body found in a trunk on the side of a Texas highway has been identified as Alicia Moore, the 16-year-old who disappeared after getting off her school bus last week.

Surveillance camera footage captured Moore as she exited her school bus at 3:25 p.m. Friday, one block from her home. Her family contacted police that night, but they said that Moore was considered a runaway and to wait until Monday. An Amber Alert was (rightfully) not issued, as it did not fit the criteria, and a press release would not be issued about Moore until Monday.

With no other recourse, Moore’s family turned to social networks to get the word out and handed out fliers. On Tuesday, a body was discovered 40 miles away inside a furniture trunk alongside a rural stretch of Texas highway. That body would later be identified as Alicia Moore’s. An official cause of death has not been released, but the case is being treated as a homicide.

During a press conference yesterday, Greenville Police Chief Dan Busken said there was trauma to the body. ”We have a lot of work ahead of us with this investigation,” Busken said.…

Former Detective Convicted Of Rape Hanged Himself In Jail CellRANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — A former Westminster police detective has killed himself just hours before he was to be sentenced after being found guilty of raping a 24-year-old woman he abducted from a mall.

Back in 2010, the victim was leaving her cocktail waitress job at Dave & Buster’s in the Ontario Mills Mall, when 33-year-old Anthony Nicholas Orban forced her at gunpoint to drive to a strip mall in Fontana. There he proceeded to beat and sexually assault the woman for more than an hour. Luckily, she was able to escape out of an unlocked door of her SUV and Orban fled the scene.

It didn’t take police long to identify Orban as a suspect as his dumbass left his registered service revolver in the victim’s vehicle. He was arrested, charged, and kicked off the force. He pleaded not guilty and insulted a jury’s intelligence by claiming  he was insane at the time of the attack.

He said that a dose of the drug Zoloft had triggered hallucinations and suicidal and homicidal fantasies days before the rape and that since he does not recall committing the crime, he should not be held accountable for his actions.…

Teen Arrested After Faking Her Own AbductionSacramento, CA – Police in California have arrested a 17-year-old girl after they say she faked her own abduction last week.

Last Thursday, the family of Christina Almanza called police after they found her missing and had a voicemail from the teen stating she had been abducted and was being held hostage by several men. The family then began receiving a series of text messages from Almanza in which she informed them she was in a basement with two other girls, and didn’t know where she was. She also indicated that someone might have been killed.

A statewide Amber Alert was issued and a task force of police, deputies, FBI agents and U.S. Marshals were assembled who began searching for the girl, locating her on Friday afternoon. Police found her in a home of a man she had met online. She was unharmed, but the same cannot be said for the aggressive pit bull police shot when they entered the home.

Woman Who Smashed Babys Face On Sidewalk Will Serve Three Years Behind BarsWinnipeg, CA — Back in 2009, Jaded brought you the original story of Nikita Eaglestick, 21. I encourage you to read it, but I will summarize here.

On Aug. 31, 2009, Eaglestick had been out of jail just three days after having been charged with charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and 12 other charges related to an attack she had allegedly perpetrated on a woman using a screwdriver. Eagletrick was under court order to abstain from alcohol.

After admittedly drinking on that day, she headed to a Winnipeg house party where more alcohol would be served. It was… and she drank it.

According to court documents, at around 4:30AM, Eaglelick picked up 13-month-old Vanessa Houle – who was asleep on the couch – and took her outside. There, she started smashing the baby’s face against the sidewalk. She did not stop.

Thankfully, not long after a neighbor, Tyler Bilsborrow, stepped outside his family’s home for a cigarette when he heard what he described as “weird sounds, like screaming sounds.” Bilsborrow followed the sounds around the corner and saw Eaglehick beating a child.…

Man Charged With Abducting Two Sons Then Drowning Them In CreekDallas, TX – A Dallas man has been charged with abducting his two young sons and then drowning them in a creek.

Police say the children’s mother was walking 5-year-old Naim to school for his first day, along with his 3-year-old brother, Elijah, when their father, 32-year-old Naim Muhammad, drove up and forced all of them into his car while threatening them with a brick.

The couple have a history of domestic violence, but were separated. Relatives say they had recently been arguing over their children. The mother was able to jump out of the car when a constable drove up, but Muhammad jumped the curb and drove off.

Several hours later, authorities received a 911 call from a woman who said her son had drowned her grandchildren. Police would eventually find the two boys in the back of their father’s car parked in a parking lot. Muhammad had drowned both of them in a muddy creek.

“I think everyone’s hurt in this case,” said Deputy Chief Craig Miller. “I think officers that open up the trunk of a vehicle, the back hatch of a vehicle, and see a deceased three-year-old and a five-year-old, I think each one of us think about our own children, the vulnerableness of life.”

Muhammad was found by a SWAT team in a nearby creek and taken into custody. After his arrest, Muhammad told reporters, “I got something to say.…
