Jennifer LienHARRIMAN, TN – Jennifer Lien, who played Kes in the first few seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, has been accused of exposing herself in front of children.

Police were called to Lien’s home after a neighbor reported that Lien had come to her house to complain about her children.

Carey Smith said Lien commented on how Smith’s children were being raised and started using vulgar language.

“All of a sudden, here come the shirt up,” said Smith. “Then she turned around and dropped her pants.”

When police arrived at Lien’s home, they found her naked on her couch. She first threatened to kill the deputies and then resisted walking to a patrol car. Police had to dress her and then carry her out.

Liem has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure involving children under age 13. As of Tuesday night, Lien was still in the Roane County Detention Center on $2,500 bail.

She was charged with domestic violence in 2012, and was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, evading arrest and reckless endangerment stemming from an April incident in which Lien rammed a police cruiser with her vehicle.…

Daniel FurlongCONSTANTINE, MI — Police have arrested 65-year-old Daniel Furlong and charged him with the murder of Jodi Parrack, the 11-year-old girl found strangled to death in a cemetery back in 2007.

Out of the almost 5000 articles I have written for the site, only a handful stick in my memory. Some because of how gruesome they were or the impact they made on the site. But others because they seemed like they would be solved quickly, but weren’t.

A few examples of these would be the murder of Holly Bobo, Phylicia Barnes, Morgan Harrington and the double murder of Taylor Paschal-Placker and Skyla Whitaker. Slowly but surely, those cases have all been solved, for the most part.

But the murder of 11-year-old Jodi Parrack remained unsolved for eight years – almost the amount of time that this site has existed.

For anyone of you who are not aware of her case, Jodi disappeared while riding her bicycle in the town of Constantine, Michigan. Her body would be found by her mother later that day, lying in the local cemetery.…

Jeff RubinPORTLAND, OR – Police arrested 27-year-old Jeff Rubin on Friday after he allegedly pissed all over fellow passengers on JetBlue flight.

According to witnesses, Rubin had been sleeping for the majority of the flight from Anchorage, but about 30 minutes before landing, “he stood up and began urinating through the crack of the seat onto the passengers seated in front of him.”

But Rubin wasn’t finished. As he was pissing on the passengers in front of him, Rubin lost his balance and fell backwards and “urinate(d) upwards which got the passengers and seats next to him as well as some other passengers’ personal belongings.”

After the plane landed, Port of Portland Police boarded and found Rubin passed out in his seat. An officer then began interviewing passengers. “At one point, the officer was like, ‘Who got peed on?“‘ said Suzanna Caldwell, who was sitting two rows in front of Rubin.

The way she describes it, no one yelled or screamed after getting pissed on, which turns the entire thing into something hilarious (to me, not the people he pissed on) into something, well, kinda odd.…

Andre BauthLOS ANGELES, CA – Police are looking for Andre Bauth, an Emmy award-winning producer, accused of stabbing an actor in the chest during an argument.

According to the victim, 23-year-old Clayton Haymes, Bauth is his landlord and manager. He says that after returning home from dinner and drinks with his roommates Tuesday morning, Bauth got a little angry when they laughed at Bauth stating he would one day win five Oscars.

“When he said ‘five Oscars,’ we all just kinda laughed a little bit, and he got really upset,” Haymes said.

Which, if Haymes is to be believed, is an understatement. Bauth allegedly grabbed a knife and chased Haymes into a room where he stabbed him in the chest then left the house. Bauth, who won a daytime Emmy as a producer for the television series The Bay, has not been seen since.

Haymes was taken to the hospital where he was treated for a punctured lung. “I was terrified for my life. I’m just happy to be alive,” he said.…

Brittany MugrauerKANSAS CITY, MO – Brittany Mugrauer, 24, has been arrested after her 4-year-old and 6-year-old children were found living in a crate inside an underground cave.

The kids were filthy, not wearing shoes, had no water and were eating a cup of dry ramen noodles with dirt in it. They were not afraid of the deputies and did not seem to care they were alone in the cave. They told the deputies that they lived in the cave with their mother, but that their mother’s boyfriend lived somewhere else.

The 6-year-old told police that he was supposed to be in first-grade, but he did not go to school. …

Ashley RagusaTOLEDO, OH – Ashley Ragusa, 32, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after prosecutors say she forced her two daughters, ages 7 and 8, to perform oral sex on her.

Lucas County Judge Myron Duhart sentenced Ragusa after she entered an Alford plea to three counts of gross sexual imposition with her daughters between January 2012 and December 2013, stating that the life of the two victims was “almost like a horror movie.”

“There were acts that were perpetrated on these children that in my mind are unconscionable,” said Duhart.

According to the judge, the conditions of the home the children lived in, along with the sexual abuse they endured at the hands of Ragusa, was “horrific” and that no sentence he handed her would right those wrongs.

He wasn’t kidding, either. The children’s caregiver told the court that the girls suffer problems with trust, food hoarding, acting out, and other issues.

Ragusa blamed her actions on depression and drug abuse, and told the court she was thankful for the year she has already spent in prison because it has allowed her to sober up.…

AlexLONG ISLAND, NY – A pit bull saved from a shelter had to be put down shortly after it attacked a teenager moments after being brought to its new home.

Stephen Neira, 40, thought he was doing a great thing when he decided to adopt a 2-year-old male pit bull that was about to be euthanized at the Animal Care Centers of New York City.

With only 22 minutes to spare, Neira, his wife and their three children went to the shelter to rescue the dog. After the dog, Alex, passed some behavioral tests he was deemed sociable and the Neira family were the proud owners of a new dog.

They brought Alex home, took him out for a walk and let him play in the backyard before bringing him into their house. And that’s when Alex flipped a switch.

Laura StuardoROME — Investigators have launched an attempted murder investigation after a woman awoke from a six week coma and told police she hadn’t tried to kill herself by jumping off a cruise ship.

On July 19, the 53-year-old Laura Stuardo was on a cruise with her boyfriend, 55-year-old Giovanni Pia. The couple had booked the cruise in an attempt to fix their broken relationship.

While the ship was docked in a Norwegian port, Stuardo fell 115 feet from the couple’s cabin balcony into the fjord below. Pia would tell investigators that Stuardo had jumped off the balcony in an attempt to kill herself.

A camera on the ship contradicted that statement a bit, as it showed Stuardo hanging from the balcony for a few seconds before falling into the water. Other passengers described hearing a loud argument coming from the couple’s room shortly before Stuardo fell.

As for Stuardo, she wasn’t saying much at the time. Not because she was dead, though. Remarkably, she survived the fall but suffered injuries to her head, lung, stomach and spleen.…

James BrooksJEFFERSON, OH – Alesha Bell, the 18-year-old who went missing after sending her mother a text message that she was scared, has been found dead in a backyard fire pit owned by 40-year-old James Brooks.

On July 23rd, Alesha Bell left her home on foot to visit a nearby relative. She never made it there. The following morning, her mother received a text from her daughter that read: “Mom, if I make it home, I need you. I’m scared.”

Bell’s mother said a short time later, she received another text from Bell’s phone stating she was with an unknown person from Columbus. She then started getting texts from her daughter’s phone that she knew were not from her daughter because of the grammar and punctuation used.

When anyone tried calling Bell, the calls started going straight to voicemail and Bell was never heard from again. After reporting her missing, investigators would link Bell to James Brooks, a man who says he ran an escort service from May 2014 to May 2015.…

Both players were ejected from the game and, according to according to Marble Falls coach Matt Green, their actions may have stemmed from two of their teammates being ejected on separate plays earlier. Green said he does not believe their coach, Gary Gutierrez, condoned their behavior and that he later apologized for the incident.

“I’ve coached 14 years and I’ve never seen anything like it,” Green said.…

Carlos Anthony HollinsLA PLATA, MD – More social media stupidity in the news after 20-year-old Carlos Holling took to Twitter to state, “IM NOT GONNA STAND FOR THIS NO. MORE. TONIGHT WE PURGE! KILL ALL THE WHITE PPL IN THE TOWN OF LA PLATA.”

Not surprising to anyone with a handful of firing neurons in their brain, some white people in La Plata were a tad concerned and notified local police.

“There were a lot of folks calling in,” said La Plata Police Chief Carl Schinner. “There was a lot of concern. Our Facebook page, lots of information from people saying they’re scared, can you tell us more.”

To show that he was not going to stand for this kind of stupidity in his town, he called some officers in early and kept other officers to work overtime so that there was high visibility of officers in the area.

He also set out to identify and apprehend the person responsible for the Tweet as soon as possible.

“Some officers here were able to do a little data mining on Twitter and find out that Mr.…

She did not see the text until an hour later and by time she got home, it was too late. She walked into the home to find her mother had been stabbed to death and that her brother had taken items from a safe before leaving in their mother’s 2007 Volvo.

That night, Daughtry started sending out texts to friends and family, admitting what he’d done. Police would locate him five miles away in South Florida after he had taken pills in a botched suicide attempt.

“It was just a barrage of ‘pow, pow, pow,” said Darrel Gray. “We heard somebody. They said, ‘Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.'”

After he was finished, Denton walked outside and laid down his gun. He then walked to a nearby trailer where his grandfather, Curtis Rose, was doing some repairs. Denton told the man, who hadn’t heard the gunshots over the noise of the power tools he was using, he needed to call 911.

Rose immediately went into the home where he found his family had been shot. He moved the children into another room, grabbed a pistol, and took off after his grandson.…
