GILA BEND, AZ - A mother of three has been arrested after an anonymous tip informed police that she had burned her 2-year-old son on top of an electric stove.
Child Protective Services received a tip from an anonymous caller who claimed that 26-year-old Anna Ochoa was aggressive and abusive with her children. The caller added that Ochoa was particularly nasty with her 2-year-old son and made comments such as, “I’m going to hurt him because I am fed up with him,” and “I don’t love him.”
CPS looked into the the caller’s claim and discovered that the child had severe burns on his buttocks consistent with a stove’s burner. He also had bruises on his lower back and blisters on his lips and fingers.
When questioned, Ochoa admitted to burning her son because she had gotten upset over him wetting himself. She told investigators she removed her son’s clothing, turned on one of the burners on her stove and then held the boy over the hot burner.
She said she didn’t know how long she had held the boy over the burner but afterwards she got ready for work without tending to the boy’s injuries.…Continue Reading
Port Arthur, TX – This article was written by Gaucha in our Workshop forum. I will get this under their name once their account has been created. A one-month old is currently in a full body cast after being beaten and shaken so badly that her brain had shifted.
Faith Mason was brought to the hospital last month suffering from a plethora of injuries, including a broken neck, arms and legs. In addition, the baby had a lacerated liver, a ruptured kidney and her brain had shifted due to being violently shaken. Some of these injuries are reportedly weeks old.
Because of the severity of her injuries, Faith was flown to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and put in a full body cast and has not regained consciousness. The team taking care of Faith has stated that this is the worst case of child abuse they had ever seen.
Faith lived with her mother, 20-year-old Christine Johnson, her father, 17-year-old Darrell Mason, and Christine’s aunt, Linda Fields. To be honest, you could throw a dart at these three and whoever you managed to hit could possibly be the person responsible for Faith’s injuries.…Continue Reading
DETROIT, MI - The 2-year-old boy who was allegedly beaten into a coma by his mother’s boyfriend, has been removed from life support.
Damian Sutton died Tuesday morning at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit after suffering brain damage from a beating at the hands of 26-year-old Ronald Dimambro Jr., his mother’s boyfriend.
Police say Dimambro beat Sutton last week while baby-sitting him. Dimambro first told 911 dispatchers that Sutton was suffering an asthma attack, then said he fell out of his crib. Eventually Dimambro admitted he shook the boy.
Dimambro must have shaken that kid harder than a pair of maracas in a mariachi band, because the boy’s injuries were so severe he had to have brain surgery and be placed in a medically induced coma. Unfortunately, the boy could not be saved.
“Damian had a very stressful night as the doctors weaned him off the medications that were no longer working to control his blood pressure and brain pressure,” said Damian’s great-aunt, Cora Leibowitz.
Dimambro was initially being held on first-degree child abuse charges, but those will probably be upgraded now that Sutton has died.…Continue Reading
JACKSONVILLE, FL – Police say a man in a Florida Best Buy lured a 9-year-old girl into the store’s bathroom where he allegedly beat her and shoved her head in the toilet.
Investigators say the girl was only out of her mother’s sight for a minute or two, but that was all 29-year-old James Tadros needed to get the little girl into the women’s bathroom.
That’s where Tadros reportedly kicked and punched the girl, put a plastic bag over her head and held her head down in the toilet. Authorities say the girl would have been killed had store employees not taken time out from not being able to answer the most basic of technical questions, and walked into the bathroom after hearing the girl’s screams.
“By the grace of God, the customer and employees got in when they did,” Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jay Farhat said. “If it had been any longer this could have been a much worse outcome.”
The employees told police that they looked underneath the handicapped stall and saw Tadros holding the child’s head in the toilet.…Continue Reading
Slaughter, LA — Police say that an 8-year-old boy blew his grandmother’s brains out moments after playing the video game, Grand Theft Auto IV.
On Thursday afternoon, at the Country Breeze mobile home park, 90-year-old Marie Smothers was watching television when her 8-year-old grandson shot her in the head with a Colt .38-caliber Detective Special revolver.
The Sheriff’s Office release says the boy initially told investigators that he accidentally shot Smothers while playing with the revolver, but the investigation led them to believe the child shot her on purpose. The motive? The boy was reportedly playing Grand Theft Auto IV in the moments before the shooting.
The boy has since been released to his parents and will not face charges because, according to Louisiana state laws, any child under the age of 10 cannot be held responsible for any criminal act they may commit.
Of course the media will be all over this story, ignoring the real issues while featuring “experts” who will push long turds out of their mouth-holes while claiming violent media is turning our children into psychopathic automatons.…Continue Reading
ASHLAND, WV - Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested a pair of McDowell County parents after they found the couples’ young children living in filth, being held in a room where they were handling and eating human excrement. Yum.
According to WVVA, Michael Paul Perry, 28, and Crystal Sidney Perry, 19, were arrested and charged with child abuse creating substantial risk of injury. Not to mention bad breath.
Martin West, the McDowell County Sheriff, told WVVA TV that detectives responded to a call from Child Protective Services employees who were trying to remove the kids from the home in the Ashland area on Thursday afternoon. Not surprisingly, the parents weren’t eager to cooperate and the employees told police they felt threatened.
Officers say that when they entered the residence, they found two toddlers, ages 1 and 2, being kept in a room where they were eating human waste. A criminal complaint filed in McDowell County Magistrate Court said the children were ‘filthy’, and worse.
“The room in which the children were being held had human excrement on the floor and that the children had been eating the excrement,” the complaint said.…Continue Reading
LAWRENCEVILLE, PA — A woman in Pennsylvania is facing charges after investigators say she smeared feces on her baby’s face and feeding tube in order to make him sick.
According to a criminal complaint, 38-year-old Lauren Buzard had brought 6-month-old baby to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for unexplained illnesses several times since May.
Eventually, doctors suspected that 38-year-old Lauren Buzard may be doing something to harm her baby and surveillance cameras were placed in Buzard’s son’s room. It didn’t take long before the doctor’s suspicions were confirmed.
The cameras captured Buzard using a dirty diaper to smear feces on her baby’s face and nasal feeding tube. The motive? Munchausen by proxy syndrome. Doctors concluded Buzard was “actively harming her child in order to gain the benefit of exhaustive medical evaluation and attention.”
Lauren Buzard was arrested and has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment of a child. She is currently in jail waiting to appear before a judge on August 21. The baby has been placed with his father.…Continue Reading
Moline, IL - A 22-year-old woman has been accused of breaking the legs of a 15-month old baby during a diaper change.
Police say Briley’s legs were broken at the hands of Dorothy Varallo-Specken, a friend of a longtime family friend. Briley’s grandmother normally takes care of her while her mother is at work, but on the day of the incident, her grandmother was having back problems.
So Briley’s mother asked a friend to watch her while she went to work, and the friend showed up with Varallo-Specken. Briley’s grandmother said they did not know Varallo-Specken very well and that the family friend met her over the Internet.
Later that day, Briley’s mother noticed Briley had a bump and bruising on her head and a swollen leg. She took Briley to Illini Hospital to have the head injury checked and asked about the leg.
According to Briley’s grandmother, whoever checked out Briley blew off the leg injury and sent them home. The following morning, Briley’s leg injuries had taken a turn for the worse.…Continue Reading
FORT MYERS, FL – A Fort Myers man short on Father-of-the-Year street cred was taken into custody after a neighbor saw him speeding around town on an ATV-with a toddler in his lap.
The wanna-be daredevil, 24-year-old Brian Wilson, was videotaped while driving the ATV by a neighbor. A deputy called to the scene also witnessed Wilson recklessly tooling around. After the deputy made contact with him, Wilson led police on a fairly high-speed chase for a man fleeing on an ATV.
Officials from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office say Wilson was going as fast as 40 mph on Staley Road in Fort Myers when he was spotted. Wilson’s daughter, who authorities believe is around three years old, was sitting in front of Wilson, without any head gear. Florida law states it is illegal to operate an ATV on a paved road and for a child under 16 to ride an ATV without a helmet.
The concerned neighbor, James Williams, took the video and posted it to YouTube because he feared for the child’s safety.…Continue Reading
KISSIMMEE, FL – A 1-year-old boy has died after eating a laundry detergent pod while at a Kissimmee battered women’s shelter.
Police say Michael Williams was with his mother at the shelter when he ate the highly concentrated pack of laundry detergent and later died. Police are still investigating, but say they do not feel the poisoning was intentional. However, it will be up to prosecutors to file any charges once the investigation is complete.
According to the American Association of Poison Control Centers, in 2012, poison centers received reports of 6,231 exposures to the highly concentrated packets of laundry detergent by children 5 and younger. As of July of this year, that number is 5,753. In July, Tide announced it will no longer package their detergent in clear packaging, using an opaque packaging that they hope will prevent kids from thinking it is candy.
That’s cool of Tide, but Terri Durdaller, a spokesperson for the Department of Children and Families, released a statement that I thought better addressed how to prevent such accidents from happening:
“The death of little Michael is a tragedy.…Continue Reading
MESA, AZ – The parents of a 4-year-old boy have been arrested after police found the boy hidden in a closet, suffering from severe burns he received two weeks earlier.
Mesa police were performing a welfare check at the home of Aaron Roland and Joscilin Smith after receiving a report from CPS regarding a toddler in their home with serious burns.
The couple initially told police that the child was staying with a relative, but police weren’t buying it and found the kid hidden away in a bedroom closet and the reports were right, the kid had some nasty burns.
The couple explained that they had gotten into an argument a couple weeks prior and Joscilin threw a pot of boiling water at Aaron that splashed the child. Instead of getting the child some professional medical help, they treated the child with store-bought creams and bandages.
“The father had gone out and gotten medical attention right away, that day, and got himself taken care of,” said Mesa Police Sgt.…Continue Reading
JOHNSON COUNTY, TX – An accused kiddie-diddler, and the man police say created “some of the worst child pornography” they’d ever seen, was found dead in his jail cell early Monday, but who gives a shit?
According to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office, 50-year-old Jay Thomas Morgan, a co-defendant in a two-county child porn investigation, was found dead in his cell.
Unfortunately, his death was not from pliers, fire ants, or large-diameter dildos with rusty nails protruding from them. Turns out the accused pedophile hanged himself in his cell using a T-shirt.
Morgan, who had been in jail since July 31, 2012, was awaiting trial on charges that included aggravated sexual assault of a child and continued abuse of a young child. His bail had been set at half a million bucks, which, luckily, he hadn’t been able to raise. His trial was scheduled to begin in October.
Prison officials said that the cretin wasn’t on suicide watch. “He hadn’t shown any signs at all,” Johnson County Sheriff Bob Alford noted.…Continue Reading
Erica Parsons, who would be 15 right now, was reported missing by her older brother on July 30. While this is troubling, what makes the situation worse is that Erica was last seen in 2011.
Casey and Sandy Parsons, who adopted Erica when she was two weeks old, have told investigators that sometime around July 2011, they were contacted by someone claiming to be Erica’s biological grandmother.
After some phone conversations and Erica visiting the woman several times in Asheville, the Parsons claim that Erica informed them she did not want to come home and wanted to live with her biological grandmother. The Parsons did not protest, and say they have not heard from their adoptive daughter since.
It has now been revealed that Erica’s biological grandmother died five years ago. So either the Parsons allowed Erica to live with a stranger and just haven’t given a shit about her safety ever since, or something even more sinister has happened.…Continue Reading
STCLOUD, FL — Police have arrested a mother and her boyfriend after they say the couple poured boiling water on the woman’s 6-year-old daughter as a form of punishment.
Police said Yadzia Ivelisse Morales’ daughter was crying and “misbehaving” so she disciplined her by microwaving a bowl of water until it was boiling then, with the help of her boyfriend Roberto Lopez, poured the boiling water over the girl as she stood in a shower.
The abuse was reported to police by Lopez’s mother who noticed the girl’s burns while babysitting. The girl is currently recovering at Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando with second and third degree burns over 30 percent of her body. Investigators said the burns were to her neck, face and back.
Both Morales and Lopez were arrested on charges of aggravated child abuse, child neglect causing great bodily harm and aggravated battery. They are being held in the Osceola County jail without bond.
Morales has refused to speak with reporters, but Lopez that he does “feel bad about it” but denies he was involved with burning the girl. …Continue Reading
ARDMORE, OK - Police have arrested the parents of a three-week old girl who died from heat exhaustion after the idiots took her on a 1,100-mile road trip in a van that had no air conditioning and only one working window.
On Tuesday, 28-year-old Christopher Randolph and his 26-year-old wife, Angela Randolph, were making a 15-hour drive from Columbus, Ohio, to Ringling, Oklahoma with their newborn, Hanna, and their 15-month-old child.
With temperatures climbing to 100 degrees, the couple pulled their rolling oven into a gas station 20 miles from their destination. It was there that they noticed Hanna was no longer breathing.
She was rushed to the hospital, but pronounced dead from complications from heat exposure. The couple were arrested on Wednesday and charged with child neglect causing death. Their 15-month-old was taken into protect custody.
This means that the 15-month old has something in common with two of his other, living siblings who were also removed from Christopher and Angela back in 2010.
Not sure why the couple look so glum in their mugshots.…Continue Reading
WASHINGTON, D.C. Police have charged a 33-year-old man with punching his girlfriend’s 4-year-old several times in the abdomen with enough force to lacerate his liver.
According to police, Peter Hendy was watching Kamari Taylor on Monday when the boy rode his scooter into the street. When Hendy reprimanded the boy, Kamari allegedly told Hendy, “I don’t have to listen to you…you’re not my daddy.”
Hendy didn’t like that response, so he punched the boy twice in the abdomen, then let Kamari ride away on his scooter. He then called the boy’s mother several times to say he had to discipline her son for being a smart mouth kid. When the little boy returned home 45 minutes later, he was sweating profusely and shaking with severe bruising to his midsection.
Instead of getting him any help, Hendy put the boy to bed and gave him some water. He then went outside to sell marijuana. When he came back inside an hour later, he found Kamari’s condition had worsened and he now had a “blank look” on his face.…Continue Reading
Dallas, TX – A woman has been arrested after police say she was on Facebook while her best friend’s 3-year-old daughter drowned in a swimming pool a few feet away.
According to the affidavit, 37-year-old Kariasa Thomas took her friend’s four children – ages 7, 6, 5 and 3 years old – to the swimming pool at her apartment complex along with her 16-year-old daughter and legally blind husband.
They arrived at the pool at 7pm, after it had already closed, but decided to stay because other people were still swimming in the pool. Although she was aware 3-year-old Kanyce Giddings could not swim and was not equipped with a flotation device, she allowed the girl to stand on the steps with her feet in the water.
Thomas then put her ass in a reclining chair a few feet away and decided to use her phone to log onto Facebook for 15 minutes instead of watching the girl. She also admitted to playing with her pit bull, Sugar.
A couple hours later, an off-duty police officer working as a security guard came to tell everyone the pool was closed and it was time to get out.…Continue Reading
LAKE WORTH, FL – Police have arrested a 26-year-old stripper at the Cheetah Club after they found her two hungry children living in a filthy home with no power and covered in insect bites.
Police responded to the home of Tammy Pierce after they received a call from an unidentified female at the home crying because “she hasn’t eaten in three days.” When police arrived at the home, they found Pierce lying on the floor complaining of stomach pains from drinking too much at the club the night before.
Her two children were walking around the “dirty” home, trying not to step on the cigarette butts that were strewn about the home. They were covered in insect bites and told police they were hungry and had not eaten. The officers noted in their report that the home had no power and that the food in the refrigerator had spoiled.
Firefighters ended up going to a nearby store to get the kids some food, and their Godmother eventually picked them up and took them to her home. …Continue Reading
Baltimore, MD – A grandmother’s attempt to get her grandson to go to sleep by applying methadone to his gums worked a bit too well and now she’s in jail facing murder charges.
On July 4, Towanda Reaves was watching her two grandchildren and put them to bed at around 8pm. She called 911 at 4am the following morning when she found one of the children unresponsive. Despite attempts to revive 17-month-old Aadyn Overton, he was pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later.
Police initially thought the death was accidental until they received a call from the hospital. Turns out the dead infant’s younger sister was admitted to the hospital later that same day and tested positive for methadone. When questioned, Reaves admitted she’d rubbed methadone on both of the infants’ gums to help them go to sleep.
Reaves was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death, first- and second-degree assault, first-degree child abuse and reckless endangerment.
Those who knew Reaves say they are shocked at the allegations, saying that the woman seemed like a doting grandmother.…Continue Reading
STONINGTON, CT - A 10-year-old boy in the backseat of his father’s car called 911 to report his dad was driving drunk moments before his father crashed.
Rhode Island State Police received a 911 call from the boy who said he and his 12-year-old sister were passengers in a Mercedes driven by their father, Owen Gilman. The boy said he was in fear for his life because his old man was drunk and driving erratically.
The boy told them he was so scared that he was contemplating jumping from the moving vehicle because that would be better than crashing at the speeds his father was currently driving. The boy didn’t have time to test his theory, because moments later his father rear-ended a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Gilman hit the Jeep so hard that he sent it 50 feet off the shoulder of the interstate and down an embankment where it overturned. The driver of the Jeep was taken to the hospital to be treated for blunt force trauma and lacerations and was last listed in fair condition. …Continue Reading
