MERCER, PA – A courtroom burst into applause after a judge ordered the mother and grandparents of an 8-year-old boy found almost starved to death, jailed until their trial on attempted murder charges.
The boy was found by a caseworker in June after a neighbor called authorities to report seeing a “walking skeleton” at the home the boy shared with his mother, Mary Rader, 28; his grandmother, Deana Beighley, 48; and his step-grandfather, Dennis Beighley, 59; and three siblings.
The boy was taken to Greenville Medical Center where a doctor remarked that “the young man is so emaciated he looks like a Holocaust survivor.” Hospital staff noted the boy’s bones protruded so sharply that his skin broke open in some areas, and that he likely wouldn’t have lived for another month.
The boy told investigators that he was fed only small amounts of food so he would often eat bugs when he was allowed onto the back porch.
Rader and her parents claimed the boy wasn’t being neglected, but that he had a hormone problem.…
FULLERTON, CA — Before I get started with today’s terrible news, I thought I would provide you with some good news in the form of an update on Lester and Petra Huffmire.
In case you’ve forgotten, this is the couple who were arrested last year after it was discovered they’d been keeping two female relatives, ages 5 and 10, malnourished and locked inside a nasty trailer for three years while they played World of Warcraft.
The two girls stayed with the unemployed couple from May 21, 2010 to May 20, 2013, in their trailer at the Satellite Mobile Homes Estate. The girls were never allowed to go outside for any reason, and were not allowed to attend school.
Police visited the trailer after receiving multiple calls from concerned neighbors. What they found inside was a trailer full of filth. It was littered with stacks of trash, debris, mold, and feces. There were a pile of used condoms found under a stuffed teddy bear, the kitchen appliances were covered in mold and cobwebs, and the toilets did not work.…
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Briana Holland is facing a slew of charges, including attempted murder, after the 22-year-old admitted to stuffing her newborn baby inside a trash can and leaving it to die.
Last Friday night, an employee at United Technology Carrier Corporation called a maintenance worker to a bathroom because they thought they heard an animal in the bathroom’s trash can.
The maintenance worker looked inside the trash can and found a newborn baby wrapped in bags used to dispose of sanitary napkins. The “lower half of the baby was put in a brown paper bag” and the “baby’s head was inside in another brown paper bag.”
Even worse, after the bags were removed, the baby was found to have toilet paper tightly wrapped “approximately 15 times” around his neck, court documents said, and had tissue and a plastic tampon applicator in his mouth. The baby was purple, cold and gasping for air before he stopped breathing.
The maintenance worker quickly removed the items from the baby’s mouth, wrapped the baby in a shirt and used his hands to stop the bleeding umbilical cord.…
TALLAHASSEE, FL – Police have arrested 63-year-old Martha White after she was accused of stabbing her 7-year-old grandson to death because she was fed up with babysitting him and his brother.
Mason Rhinehart, 7, and his 8-year-old brother were playing video games when White walked and told them she had a surprise for them. She took Mason into the bathroom and locked the door behind her.
Mason’s older brother said he then heard Mason crying and begging for his life, saying: “I don’t want to die, please don’t kill me.”
The boy said he tried to open the door to help his brother, but was unsuccessful. Instead, he called the cops and his father before finding a hiding spot.
White eventually walked out of the bathroom covered in blood, then left the house with a bottle of wine. But before she walked out, she reportedly told the boy that she “had a surprise for him too.”
Police arrived at the home within five minutes and found Mason lying on the bathroom floor suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest.…
LARAMIE, WY – WARNING! Midway into this article, I begin using the word “they”as a gender-neutral singular because the sex of the child is unknown, rather than as a plural pronoun. Going by the comments, this seems to have confused the hell out of people. I figured I’d warn some of you beforehand so you are not also stuck staring at your monitor in confusion, with drool pooling from your mouth. You’re welcome.
Jena Harman and Alexander Smith have been charged with child abuse and felonious restraint after they allegedly kept Harman’s 7-year-old child in an outdoor cage.
The couple were arrested after a neighbor discovered the child and contacted police. This wouldn;t be the first time police have been called regarding the child, as the Sheriff’s Office says they’ve received complaints of child abuse and requests for welfare checks since August.
When deputies got to the couple’s home on this latest trip, they found the kid inside a six feet square, five feet tall cage constructed of cattle paneling and wooden snow fence.…
EDGEWOOD, NM – Salvador Martinez has been accused of stabbing his girlfriend’s 9-month-old puppy to death with a screwdriver, then skinning the dog and marinating it in Italian dressing.
Torrance County deputies responded to the man’s home after receiving a call regarding the 46-year-old’s odd behavior. When they arrived, a woman told them that Martinez had killed the family dog, a 9-month-old black-and-white chiweenie named Onyx.
But that’s not all he did. After stabbing the dog to death with a screwdriver, he skinned and cut up the puppy before storing the meat in the fridge in an Italian dressing marinade.
Afterwards, he went online to search for dog meat recipes (I find wedding style dog stew to be quite tasty) and to check if eating dog was illegal in New Mexico.
Martinez freely admitted to deputies what he’d done, claiming the couple didn’t have enough food for themselves and the grandkids that lived there. This claim was denied by his girlfriend, who told investigators there was plenty of food in the house.…
LONGMONT, CO — A Colorado mother jumped from the frying pan into the fire after she ran down a concerned couple who’d called police about her young boy being left in a hot car.
Shannon Dominguez, 43, and her boyfriend, Alan Mason, were leaving the Dollar Tree when they noticed a young boy alone in a locked car in the parking lot and called 911.
“All four windows were rolled up. And it was in the direct sun. It scares the heck out of me. It’s some innocent child might die,” said Dominguez.
As she was on the phone with police, the boy’s mother, 27-year-old Kristina Riddell, approached them and became very angry. She punched Mason before jumping in her car.
Riddell backed her Honda up, hitting Dominguez and running over her leg. She then hit Mason, who went over the hood of the car before grabbing on to Riddell’s door.
“She had her windows down, so I grabbed onto the door. She drug me about 20 feet. I realized she was not going to stop, so I let go.…
COLUSA, CA — Here’s a nice lesson for some of you parents out there: Never abduct a teenager to make him apologize for making your kid cry. A couple in California did it, and now they are facing kidnapping and false imprisonment charges.
Frances Sanapaw says her 13-year-old son, Nicholas, was playing near the river at Memorial Grove park with several other kids when he “accidentally” hurt the 6-year-old son of Rebecca and Jose Molina, making the young boy cry.
Witnesses say Rebecca Molina was not pleased with this. She reportedly snatched Nicholas by the shirt and started punching him before leaving the park to get her husband. When she and Jose returned, they chased Nicholas down and forced him into their minivan.
They then drove the teen to their home and forced him inside where they made him get on his knees and apologize to their 6-year-old for upsetting him. That’s about the time police showed up and took the couple into custody.
Rebecca and Jose are now in jail on kidnapping, false imprisonment and child cruelty charges.…
LAKE CHARLES, LA – You know, it’s probably time to re-evaluate your life if you find yourself in the same position as Princess Marks, the 25-year-old woman who was arrested for leaving her two young kids alone in a car so she could suck her boyfriend’s dick.
It was sometime after midnight when police responded to reports of two children alone in an a vehicle at a Lake Charles retail store. Officers would find an SUV with the windows rolled down and two children, ages 7 and 5, alone inside.
It didn’t take them long to locate Marks, the childrens’ mother, who admitted she had been in another vehicle performing oral sex on her boyfriend. She also admitted that she was unable to see her vehicle from her boyfriend’s car.
The report didn’t mention if this was because of where her boyfriend’s car was parked, or because Marks’ vision was being obscured by her boyfriend’s balls.
Marks was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on charges of child desertion.…
FLINT, MI – Back in 2011, 23-year-old Donovan Haynes beat his toddler to death in an attempt to turn her into a lesbian. On Monday, a judge sentenced Haynes to 18 years and nine months in prison.
Ti’Airra Woodward was rushed to the hospital after the 2-year-old was found unresponsive in her mother’s basement. A medical examiner’s report indicated she died of internal bleeding from a lacerated liver caused by blunt force trauma to the abdomen.
There were also adult human bite marks all over the girl’s body.
Haynes was quickly taken into custody and would tell police that he only bit his daughter in the leg because she wet the bed. However, a pre-sentence investigation report claimed that Haynes beat the girl in an attempt to toughen her up and to turn her gay so she would avoid men like him.
Facing life behind bars on charges of open murder, first-degree murder and torture, Haynes eventually pleaded no contest to second-degree murder to avoid a trail which could have netted him 31 years in prison.…
EDMOND, OK – Matthew Durham, 19, has been charged with four counts of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with children after he was accused of committing sex acts with children while volunteering at a Kenyan orphanage.
The crimes were allegedly committed between April 30 to June 17, when Durham made his fourth visit to the Upendo Children’s Home in Nairobi and requested to stay at the orphanage. On his previous visits in June 2012, June 2013, and in December, he stayed with sponsor families offsite.
According to court documents, a Kenyan caretaker who lives at the orphanage noticed some of the children were acting strange and decided to question them. They would tell the caretaker that Durham had been sexually abusing them.
The founder of the children’s home, Eunice Menja, told the FBI that when Durham was confronted with the allegations that he admitted he’d sexually assaulting between four and ten children of both sexes between the ages of 4 and 10 – including one who is HIV-positive.…

Neighbors who live on the 7900 block of Bull Hill Rd. called police after they heard Munford’s children crying inside the car Friday morning.
When police arrived on the scene, they found Munford’s children in a car in the driveway with the windows rolled down. As for Munford, police found him 30 feet away, behind an apartment building where he was having sex with a woman against a wall.
“We went around to the back of the duplex and discovered a male and a female engaging in sexual intercourse,” Prince George Police Capt. Brian Kei said. “At that point they made contact with the individual who identified himself as the father of the two twins.”
Police charged the woman with indecent exposure and released her at the scene. Munford was arrested on two counts of felony child endangerment and indecent exposure and spent the weekend in jail.…
Police were called to the home of Ward’s girlfriend at about 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Upon their arrival, they learned Ward and his girlfriend had been involved in some sort of argument, which led to Ward assaulting the woman. When the woman’s friends attempted to intervene, Ward apparently attacked them with a piece of lumber, injuring one badly enough to require a trip to the hospital.
Police arrested Ward at the scene and charged him with assault by contact/family violence and aggravated assault with deadly weapon for the lumber assault on the woman’s friend.
After Ward was transported to the Titus County Jail, officers learned that prior to their arrival, Ward had busted into a bedroom in the home and forced one of the woman’s two children, ages 8 and 9, to ingest an undisclosed amount of meth.
The child later tested positive for meth and was treated at the hospital.…
Mallory Loyola First Woman Charged Under New Tennessee Law That Criminalizes Drug Use During PregnancyJuly 14, 2014 at 10:43 am by Morbid
KNOXVILLE, TN – Mallory Loyola has made her family proud by becoming the first woman to be charged under a controversial Tennessee law that makes it a crime to take drugs while pregnant.
The 26-year-old was arrested and charged with assault after both she and her newborn infant tested positive for meth. The law allows a woman to be charged with assault if it’s found she illegally used a narcotic drug while pregnant and her infant ends up harmed or addicted to the drug.
Unfortunately for Loyola, this new law just went into effect this month, and she admitted to police that her infant tested positive for meth because she smoked meth just days before giving birth. The charge is a misdemeanor, and Loyola has been released on $2,000 bail.
Lawmakers hope this new law will help deter other women from using drugs while pregnant. “Hopefully it will send a signal to other women who are pregnant and have a drug problem to seek help. That’s what we want them to do,” said Monroe County Sheriff Bill Bivens.…
Good Samaritans in a Home Depot parking lot said they heard a child crying for help inside a pickup truck parked in 90-degree heat. The truck was off, had its windows rolled up and its doors locked. The girl had been in the truck for over an hour and managed to crawl out of the rear sliding window.
Sheena Mayorga and her fiancé Hector Ramirez, along with their friend John Bodenheimer, went to the girl’s aid and tried calming her down. Mayorga said the girl was sweating from head to toe and was “screaming, sweating, unsure, and very scared.”
Police were called while another customer and some Home Depot employees took the girl inside the air-conditioned store and gave her water. The girl told police that her parents, Angelica Lerma-Montoya and Dulces Monge-Perez, ordered her to stay in the truck as punishment for eating earlier in the day.…
MURFREESBORO, TN – Anthony Lane has been charged with first degree murder after his daughter died at the age of 22 from injuries she received from a beating when she was only five weeks old.
Lane was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 1992 after he “violently beat” his daughter Amanda. The girl’s mother, Stephanie Pinson, would be sentenced to two years in jail after being convicted for accessory after the fact of child abuse.
While Amanda survived the beating, she was left critically injured. Authorities said she required four injections daily for a diabetic condition, suffered from seizures, and had cerebral palsy.
Despite this, Amanda would live for 22 years until finally dying last year. An autopsy would reveal her death was caused by complications to the blunt force trauma she suffered as an infant.
Nancy Woodall-Holmes, who adopted Amanda when she was three months old, described Amanda as “pure joy” and woke up and went to sleep with a smile each day.
“She could only do less than a newborn baby,” said Woodall-Holmes.…
ARLINGTON, TX – Alexis Botello, 17, and her boyfriend, 20-year-old Joshua Beard, are behind bars after Beard beat the toddler to death and the couple hid the toddler’s body.
Police responded to a hotel where the couple were staying after Beard’s aunt called to report the child, Tylea Moore, was missing. When police interviewed Botello, she initially stated she hadn’t seen her child in two days.
Police weren’t buying it and after further questioning, Botello admitted Tylea was dead. She said that Beard, her boyfriend of a few months, had beat the little girl to death but “didn’t mean to do it.”
Here’s what she says happened, you be the judge:
Botello said she and Beard were fighting over Beard pushing and yelling at Tylea. Beard allegedly hit the girl repeatedly and threw Tylea on the bed so hard that she bounced off and landed on the floor. That’s when Botello said he stomped on her stomach until she puked up green stuff.
When Botello checked on her daughter in the morning, she said Tylea “looked awful” and had bruises on her ribs, chest, arms, legs and tops of her feet.…
WALKER, LA — Billy and Lana Henry are looking at child cruelty charges after they forgot they’d brought their infant to Walmart and left the baby in the backseat of their car.
Officers responded to the Walmart parking lot after someone called to report seeing an infant locked in the backseat of a car. Police decided to force their way into the car due to the high temperatures.
Police checked the child for injuries and called the Office of Child Services. As all this was going on, the child’s parents – Billy Henry Jr., 35, and Lana Henry, 32 – had exited the Walmart and were walking toward the car.
When questioned, neither of the dumb fucks remembered they’d even brought their kid, and that the baby must have been locked in the car for about an hour. One officer reported that while questioning the couple, they “were unsteady on their feet and had slurred speech.”
Police would learn from the couple that their condition was the result of them taking Oxycodone.…
