According to police, at around 2:30 in the morning, a concerned citizen notified them that there was a vehicle stopped in the road with someone passed out inside.
Police would find 35-year-old Melissa Tomesh passed out in her truck, facing the wrong way on the road. Ever the multitasker, Tomesh was breastfeeding her daughter at the same time.
“When the officers arrived they had to wake up the driver and after talking to her, they realized she was under the influence of something, possible drugs, or a combination of different medications,” said officer Lisa Holland.
Tomesh was taken into custody and is facing a list of charges, including DUI and child endangerment for transmitting drugs to her toddler through her breast milk. Her child was placed with relatives but CPS has been notified of the incident.
“We have contacted child protective custody. We have a detective working with them on the case to make arrangements for a safer environment for the child to be in,” Holland said.…
According to reports, 25-year-old Sean Flowers was at a family party on Saturday when he got into an argument with his son’s mother.
Flowers grabbed his son and left the apartment, wading into a nearby storm water pond while the boy’s mother and family pleaded with him to stop.
Instead, Flowers sat down in the water up to his chest while holding his son beneath the surface.
“It was the most evil thing I’ve ever seen,” said a witness who watched the scene unfold from his window. “That baby cried all the way out into the water, then the crying stopped.”
Another witness followed Flowers into the pond in an unsuccessful attempt to get the baby.
“I saw a baby floating in the water. I grabbed it. I tried to swim away with it. He lunged at me and took the baby again and swam farther, deeper,” the witness said.…
On Thursday night, a neighbor 25-year-old Brianna Daley and 27-year-old Brent Daley found the couple’s 2-year-old boy wandering around outside and called police.
According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived to find the boy screaming and crying while attempting to get back into his home. The boy was dirty, barefoot and wearing only a diaper and a T-shirt.
The officers found that the house was unlocked and went inside to see if there were any adults home. No one was home, but they did find a phone number for Brent Daley.
Police called Brent to tell him they were at his home with his toddler and, according to Sheriff Paul Babeu, Brent’s response was “Whatever” before hanging up.
A little while later Brianna and Brent arrived at the home and allegedly admitted they left their son at home so they could go play Pokemon Go in nearby neighborhoods.…
In June 2002, Wright removed the racks out of an oven, turned it to broil and waited for it to heat up. She then placed her 14-month-old daughter, Ashley Smith, head first into the oven.
Ashley was rescued by her father who heard her screams and found her inside the oven. While Smith was only in the oven for a short amount of time, she suffered third-degree burns to over 30 percent of her body.
Despite claiming voices told her to put her daughter in the oven, Wright would plead guilty to attempted murder, and be sentenced to 25 years in prison. On Tuesday, after having serving 13 years and 9 months of her sentence, Wright stood before the parole board in hopes of an early release.
Smith was also there to ask the board that her mother remain in prison.…
Bert Franklin, 35, lived in a $1.3 million home with his wife and four children. When the successful dentist was not spending time with his family or work, he spent it with his mistress of two years and her 19-month-old son, Lincoln Von Henry Lewis.
Neither his girlfriend or his wife knew of each other and, according to investigators, Franklin had been living a double life. That is until July 17. On that day, Franklin was at his girlfriend’s house in an upstairs room with Lewis.
The boy’s mother, Roxanne Lewis-Randall, said she was downstairs when she heard a loud “thud” that Franklin explained was just him throwing a ball to a puppy. The next morning, Lewis-Randall went to check on her son and found him unconscious.
The boy was rushed to the hospital where doctors would find the boy’s head had pinpoints of blood in the skin near the right rear of his skull, hemorrhaging in both eyes and severe swelling and trauma to his brain.…
CINCINNATI, OH – A judge has sentenced April Corcoran to 51-years-to-life in prison for letting her drug dealer have sex with her 11-year-old daughter in exchange for heroin, calling it one of the worst cases she’s ever seen.
In June, Corcoran pleaded guilty to complicity to rape, trafficking in persons and corrupting another with drugs.
Corcoran admitted that on four separate occasions in 2014, she gave her daughter to 42-year-old Shandell Willingham for sex in exchange for heroin.
The little girl was sodomized, raped, forced to perform oral sex and frequently videotaped by Willingham. Corcoran would reward her daughter by forcing her to take small doses of heroin that caused her to vomit each time.
“I made selfish, horrible choices that will affect her for the rest of her life,” Corcoran said in court before she was sentenced. “I am consumed by guilt and shame every day.”
Judge Ghiz said she was full of shit, pointing out that Corcoran has yet to offer any kind of apology to her daughter.…
GLOUCESTER, NJ – Here’s an infuriating story to start off your week. Prosecutors allege 22-year-old Michael Disporto sexually assaulted his new girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter before she died of blunt force trauma to the head. Be warned, the following details are pretty horrific.
According to Christine Shah of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, 26-year-old Amber Bobo picked up her 2-year-old daughter, Ariana, from her father’s home Saturday evening and went home.
Disporto, her boyfriend of two weeks, took Ariana to the park to “get to her know her better” and then to a firework show across the street. Bobo did not accompany them because she was too tired to go.
When they got back, Bobo put Ariana to bed in her bedroom and watched television with Disporto before going to bed at around 11 p.m., leaving Disporto to sleep on the couch. When Bobo woke up the following morning, she found Ariana on the couch wrapped in a blanket and her boyfriend outside smoking a cigarette.
Two hours later, at around 9 a.m., Bobo unwrapped her daughter to find she was not in the same clothes as the ones she had on when she put her to bed and, more alarmingly, she had two bruises on both sides of her forehead.…
Police were called to a beach in Daytona Beach on Monday afternoon where they found 18-year-old Tatyana Allen had used the child to batter her boyfriend after the couple got into an argument.
According to witnesses, Allen was angry with her boyfriend because he would not walk with her to the bathroom. In response, Allen reportedly punched the man several times in the face before grabbing her son by the ankles and swinging him like a baseball bat at the man’s direction.
Allen then dropped the baby face-down in the sand and the boyfriend picked him up. Witnesses said Allen had been rough with the baby and at one point as she walked up the steps to the boardwalk, the baby’s head struck the railing.
Family members corroborated what witnesses told investigators, but refused to provide written statements. Surprisingly, the toddler was not injured, but was taken to a local hospital just in case.…

Holifield joins a long list of teenage boys who have sampled the goods at their mother’s day care. Some featured on this site recently include:
On April 22, 2015, Weaver gave birth to a baby girl in a bathroom at the Delta Gamma Theta sorority at Muskingum University. Weaver put the infant in a trash bag and left her outside where the newborn would die of asphyxiation.
After the body was found by Weaver’s fellow sorority sisters, Weaver was arrested and later charged with aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Instead of owning up to what she did, Weaver would plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
During her trial, prosecutors would show that Weaver never had any intention of keeping the baby. They told the jurors that Weaver drank alcohol, smoked marijuana and played sports during her pregnancy.
Even more damning was the fact that hours after she gave birth, but before the baby’s body was found, she sent a text to the boy she believed to be the father that read: “No more baby,” and “taken care of.”
Weaver’s defense was that she was in denial about the pregnancy and thought her daughter was dead when she put her in the trash.…
According to reports, the girl’s 30-year-old mother left the baby girl on a couch for only a few seconds while she went to use the bathroom.
It was at this time that the two dogs, believed to be Shar Pei-pit bull mixes, came into the home through an open door and attacked the baby. The infant was rushed to the Community Regional Medical Center where she was later died.
The woman told police the dogs belonged to her brother and that she thought they were chained up outside when she left the door open because it was hot. She also informed police that one of the dogs is aggressive.
Sgt. Dan Macias said that at this point the baby’s death seemed like an unfortunate accident, but that the investigation is ongoing and that charges haven’t been ruled out.
The dogs are currently in the custody of the Central California Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals where they will both be euthanized.…
Clearwater police say 23-year-old Roseanna Kiser was a guest at the Sheraton Sand Key Hotel who was spending time at the hotel’s pool Monday evening. While drinking from a bottle of vodka in the pool, Kiser became angry with several young children who were also in the pool.
When a 7-year-old boy Kiser didn’t know splashed water near, she responded by pouring some of her vodka directly into the boy’s eyes and face. She then grabbed him around the chest and pushed him away from her.
Police were called to the hotel and found Kiser inside her hotel room. When they tried escorting her off of the premises she began kicking and elbowing the arresting officers in the head, neck, and chest. She also managed to repeatedly kick one cop in the groin with the heel of her foot.
Kiser was placed in jail on felony charges of child abuse and battery on a law enforcement officer.…
Police responded to the home of 30-year-old Bernice White after receiving a 911 call connected to a fight between White and her adult sister.
When police arrived, they found White’s sister had a broken arm caused by White hitting her with a 1×4 piece of lumber. While searching the home, police also found White’s son with a bandaged hand and swelling, bruising and redness to his right upper thigh and left forearm.
After White’s son was transported to the hospital, doctors discovered the boy was suffering from several broken fingers and a fractured foot. Investigators say the injuries were a result of White beating the boy with the same piece of wood she used to break her sister’s arm.
According to the affadavit, White had returned home from work and turned all Mommy Dearest when she found the apartment had not been cleaned to her specifications.…
Before we get to the convictions, here’ some background: Liam was the son of 31-year-old Rachel Trelfa and Joseph Johnson. Trelfa was living with Johnson until she became pregnant with Liam, at which time she left Joseph for 28-year-old Nyomi Fee, a woman she had been having an affair with.
The pair entered into a civil partnership and, over the next two years, numerous reports were made regarding Liam. These reports were made by a babysitter and workers at two separate nurseries who were concerned over Liam’s bruises and his lethargic behavior.
The women would explain to social workers that the boy’s injuries were caused by falling, or by the boy “pinching himself.”
In March of 2014, police were called to the couple’s apartment where they told police Liam had been killed by one of the two 7-year-olds who lived in the home.…
The unidentified woman and her three children – ages 8-years-old, 5-years-old, and 2 months – lived with her mother and her brother. Late Wednesday night, the woman’s brother called 911 after returning home from work and talking with his sister in the garage.
He told police she was talking incoherently about religion (duh) and said she’d found the answer before locking him out of the house.
After forcing his way in he found his sister in the bathroom suffering from self-inflicted stab wounds to her neck and abdomen. When he ran to get towels, the woman tried drowning herself in the bathtub.
While paramedics were treating her, she told them her three sons were staying with a family member. Police would find this to be untrue while performing a routine search of the home.
Inside a bedroom closet they would find the dead bodies of her three sons.…
A police officer responding to the home of 48-year-old Loretta Lynn Armstrong reported seeing the woman repeatedly hitting her youngest son in the face.
Armstrong was reportedly upset that her boy, whose age has not been released, didn’t get the right toppings on her Grade D horse meat.
The officer was able to pull Armstrong off of her son but Armstrong was able to break free when the officer tried to cuff her and throw herself on the driveway. She then began screaming and cursing, claiming she was in the throes of a heart attack.
After emergency personnel arrived and determined Armstrong was pulling a Fred Sanford, she was taken to jail.
“All in all, from the moment we arrested her, to the time we finished the arrest was about three hours,” Cpl. Dean Bishop said. “During those three hours, she didn’t settle down the whole time.”
Armstrong has been charged with felony child abuse and three other misdemeanors.…
Police were called after 21-year-old Tyler Dauzat took her son to St. Elizabeth Hospital because of his extremely erratic behavior.
A blood screening revealed the boy was flailing and showed a significant presence of meth in his system. Doctors concluded the boy had to have eaten the drug.
When questioned, Dauzat first denied knowing how her son came into contact with meth, but ultimately admitted that she had some powdered meth in her purse and that her son had been left alone with the purse inside a hotel room.
Dauzat was arrested and placed in the Ascension Parish jail on bonds totaling $50,000. She’s facing charges of negligent injuring and cruelty to juveniles, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and improper supervision of a minor. Last year, the wife of 39-year-old Tony Waller was looking for a file on a laptop they both shared. What she ended up finding was a folder fill o’ child porn. According to police, Waller had amassed a collection of around 400,000 images and videos of pubescent girls.
She called police and Waller, who worked at Jonesboro First Assembly of God since 1999 and was a bus driver for Jonesboro Public Schools, admitted he had a child porn addiction for the last 20 years.
But as police continued their investigation, they found that Waller had more than a child porn addiction – he was also a predator. Waller had installed hidden cameras in the church’s bathroom and a house the church owned across the street.
Even worse, two girls – aged 10 to 11 – would come forward to say that Waller had been sexually abusing them for several years. …
