Anthony LaneMURFREESBORO, TN – Anthony Lane has been charged with first degree murder after his daughter died at the age of 22 from injuries she received from a beating when she was only five weeks old.

Lane was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 1992 after he “violently beat” his daughter Amanda. The girl’s mother, Stephanie Pinson, would be sentenced to two years in jail after being convicted for accessory after the fact of child abuse.

While Amanda survived the beating, she was left critically injured. Authorities said she required four injections daily for a diabetic condition, suffered from seizures, and had cerebral palsy.

Despite this, Amanda would live for 22 years until finally dying last year. An autopsy would reveal her death was caused by complications to the blunt force trauma she suffered as an infant.

Nancy Woodall-Holmes, who adopted Amanda when she was three months old, described Amanda as “pure joy” and woke up and went to sleep with a smile each day.

“She could only do less than a newborn baby,” said Woodall-Holmes.…

Alexis BotelloARLINGTON, TX – Alexis Botello, 17,  and her boyfriend, 20-year-old Joshua Beard, are behind bars after Beard beat the toddler to death and the couple hid the toddler’s body.

Police responded to a hotel where the couple were staying after Beard’s aunt called to report the child, Tylea Moore, was missing. When police interviewed Botello, she initially stated she hadn’t seen her child in two days.

Police weren’t buying it and after further questioning, Botello admitted Tylea was dead. She said that Beard, her boyfriend of a few months, had beat the little girl to death but “didn’t mean to do it.”

Here’s what she says happened, you be the judge:

Botello said she and Beard were fighting over Beard pushing and yelling at Tylea. Beard allegedly hit the girl repeatedly and threw Tylea on the bed so hard that she bounced off and landed on the floor. That’s when Botello said he stomped on her stomach until she puked up green stuff.

When Botello checked on her daughter in the morning, she said Tylea “looked awful” and had bruises on her ribs, chest, arms, legs and tops of her feet.…

Lana HenryWALKER, LA — Billy and Lana Henry are looking at child cruelty charges after they forgot they’d brought their infant to Walmart and left the baby in the backseat of their car.

Officers responded to the Walmart parking lot after someone called to report seeing an infant locked in the backseat of a car. Police decided to force their way into the car due to the high temperatures.

Police checked the child for injuries and called the Office of Child Services. As all this was going on, the child’s parents – Billy Henry Jr., 35, and Lana Henry, 32 – had exited the Walmart and were walking toward the car.

When questioned, neither of the dumb fucks remembered they’d even brought their kid, and that the baby must have been locked in the car for about an hour. One officer reported that while questioning the couple, they “were unsteady on their feet and had slurred speech.”

Police would learn from the couple that their condition was the result of them taking Oxycodone.…

Samantha UngerFranklin Township, PA – Police have charged 22-year-old Samantha Unger after they say she admitted to poisoning her 3-year old son with Visine eye drops.

The boy had been admitted to the hospital several times suffering from a mysterious illness with life-threatening symptoms.

In March, the boy was flown by helicopter to Penn State Hershey Medical Center when it looked as if the symptoms were the result of being poisoned.

Tests were performed and doctors confirmed their suspicions when poisonous amounts of Tetrahydrozoline – the chemical commonly found in eye drops – were found in the boy’s urine.

State Police Investigators interviewed Unger, who confessed to putting Visine in her son’s water and juice bottles. She wasn’t sure exactly how much Visine she’d given her son, but said she’d used more than one bottle.

Small doses of Visine can cause you some issues, larger doses can cause rapid heart rate, convulsions, and even put you into a coma.

Unger also admitted that her 1-year-old got sick from the Visine after he drank from one of the tainted bottles she’d prepared for his older brother.…

Brenna WinterORLANDO, FL – Brenna Winter, 18, has been accused of trying to smother her baby inside an Orange County children’s hospital, but was stopped by nurses and the hospital’s advanced safety features.

Pateints at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orange County have their vital signs monitored by a paramedic in a clinical logistics center. Whenever a patient’s vitals show they are in distress, the paramedic has the ability to call into the room or turn on a live camera inside the room.

That’s what happened the other day when the alarm for Winter’s 3-month-old daughter, admitted to the hospital because she was vomiting blood, alerted that she’d stopped breathing.

The live camera showed Winter “standing next to the crib with her hands in the crib.” Nurses rushed into the room and were able to save the baby.

Several hours later, the alarm was activated again. A witness in the room said Winter was nursing the baby and was “holding the baby so tightly that her heart rate dropped.”

Police were called and interviewed Winter who eventually admitted she covered her baby’s mouth with her hand until the baby turned blue.…

Kisha YoungCROWLEY, TX – A 12-year-old girl is dead after a woman had her ride on top of her car because she didn’t want the girl’s wet bathing suit messing up the car’s upholstery.

Kisha Young, 38, spent June 17 getting drunk at the Creekside Community Pool with the victim’s mother and their six children between the ages of 8 and 14.

When the group left the pool, Young had the kids ride on top of her Chevy Malibu because their bathing suits were wet.

While taking the 1-minute drive home, four of the children fell off the car as Young drove around a corner. Neither Young or the victim’s mother were aware their load had lightened until some teenagers flagged down their car at the end of the street.

Three of the children were treated at the hospital and later released, but 12-year-old Octavia Watkins was admitted with severe head injuries. She never regained consciousness and was removed from life support last Wednesday.

“She was totally unconscious the whole time, so that was my main concern,” said Albert Garcia who found Watkins in the street.…

Ricardo WimbushBUFORD, GA – Recardo Wimbush, a former Georgia Tech football player, has been charged after police say he kept his 13-year-old son in a room for most of the past two years.

Police say an investigation started by an anonymous tip to the Division of Family and Children Services lead to the 33-year-old and his wife, 37-year-old Therian Wimbush, being charged with cruelty to children in the first degree and false imprisonment.

It is being alleged that the couple imprisoned the oldest of their ten children for almost two years in a room with concrete walls and a hardwood floor. The only light came from the small amount of daylight that made it through the one window in the room that had been painted white.

The room had no books or any form of entertainment. In the time he was kept in the room, he was fed at regular times and allowed out to use the bathroom, but was not allowed to attend school or have access to his nine siblings.…

Bailey Joe MillsSANFORD, NC — Proving that a pedophile running a home day care is probably a bad idea, four people have been arrested after a convicted sex offender’s home day care turned out to be a child porn production operation.

Back in January, 33-year-old Baily Joe Mills was arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl. Mills already had a 1997 conviction of taking indecent liberties with a child, and a 2000 conviction for indecent liberties with a child after he molested an 11-year-old girl at a flea market. He was required to register as a sex offender, but his name was expired from that registry in 2006.

After his latest arrest, police went through Mill’s computer and cell phone and discovered he’d upped his game a bit and was now pimping out children. Investigators say Mills was running a day care and mentoring program from his home to attract young girls who he would pay to have sex with men he found through different social media sites.

Authorities said this operation involved 10 male and female victims ranging from 1- to 14-years-old, and was done with the help of at least four other adults.  …

Lasasha AllenWinnsboro, LA — A 20-month-old girl was seriously injured Sunday after being tossed from a moving vehicle because her malfunctioning incubator needed some attention from the child’s father.

The incubator in question, 23-year-old Lasasha Allen, sent a text to the child’s father Saturday, claiming that the child had fallen out of a car window and was injured. She did this, she told police, to get a reaction from the child’s father.

The baby’s father apparently neglected to respond to the text, and because Allen doesn’t want anyone thinking she’s a liar or anything, she had to rough up that baby a bit. She loaded up the baby and another child, aged 7, and went for a drive.

Police say Allen drove to some rural location with a lot of curves, and once she hit about 45 mph, opened the passenger door and pushed the baby out. Then, for whatever reason, she just kinda waited at the scene for a bit before finally taking the child to the hospital.

Allen later told police that her intent was to inflict minor damage so that she would not be caught in a lie.…

Eddye PittmonHALL COUNTY, GA – Three daycare workers have been arrested after an 18-month-old suffered severe burns in their care and was denied medical attention.

When Meagan Seabolt picked up her son from the Discovering Basics daycare center, she noticed her son had what appeared to be a rash on his leg. She was informed that he’d been bitten by a bug and was suffering from some kind of reaction.

Seabolt rushed her son to the hospital when the rash got progressively worse, only to learn he was actually suffering from second- and third-degree burns to his stomach and left leg – likely caused by a hot liquid. The boy was transferred to the Augusta Burn Center where he underwent skin grafts and is now recovering at home.

A police investigation showed the boy was likely burned that morning and went eight hours without any kind of medical treatment aside from one of the workers, 55-year-old Eddye Pittmon, rubbing ointment on the burns. Pittman was arrested last Friday and charged with child cruelty.…

John BalyoGaylord, MI – Christian radio personality John Balyo has been accused of paying to have sex with children after a child pimp was busted by Homeland Security.

Earlier this month, 42-year-old Ronald Moser was arrested after drawing the attention of Homeland Security. Moser was posting child porn involving young boys and posted on an internet site, “looking for people in or around Michigan that r in to kids.”

After a raid on Moser’s home found him living with a 12-year-old boy and being in the possession of child porn, Moser would tell investigators that one of the people “in to kids” was Balyo – the morning host on the Christian radio station WCSG Radio. He told officials that Balyo was a client of his and paid to have sex with young boys.

Using this information, along with evidence found at the scene, Balyo’s home in Caledonia was raided by Michigan State Police, Battle Creek police, and Homeland Security Investigations’ Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

It has not been revealed what, if anything, was found in the home, but Baylo was arrested on Friday while working at a Christian music festival in Gaylord.…

Jennifer Marie VargasSan Antonio, TX – If you live in Texas and wondered how many years you’d spend in jail if you ripped open your kid’s scrotum then used super glue to close the wound – the answer is two years.

We first reported on 34-year-old Jennifer Vargas last year after she grabbed her 6-year-old son’s genitals and angrily jerked on them hard enough to rip open his coin purse. To stop his testicles from playing peek-a-boo, she went full Macgyver and used super glue to close the gaping wound.

When the boy’s father returned home and found the boy crying in his bed wearing a pair of underwear full of bloody paper towels, he rushed him to the hospital where doctors treated a nearly two-inch tear to his scrotum.

Vargas eventually admitted she was angry at the boy and “grabbed his scrotum and pulled as hard as she could.” She was arrested and charged with assault causing serious bodily injury. She was looking at 10 years in prison, but she pleaded guilty last Thursday and was only sentenced to two years in prison, with an additional five years of supervised release.…

Stacey NikkelTEHACHAPI, CA – Police have charged 34-year-old Stacey Nikkel with child endangerment after her toddler was found in a in a field inside a tipped-over stroller – just days after winning custody of the child.

The 2-year-old girl had been in the custody of a couple who were trying to adopt her, but Nikkel took them court to regain custody. On June 9, a judge said that CPS dropped the ball, and awarded custody back to Nikkel.

This last Sunday, a person found the toddler in a vacant field stuck inside a tipped-over stroller wearing only a t-shirt, shorts and no shoes.. Investigators believe the child was alone in the stroller from about 10:30 p.m. Saturday night until found at about 9 a.m. the next morning.

“My heart just broke for her, because she was sitting here all alone,” said the woman who found the toddler. “She was very dirty, with tears, snots, hair covered in fox-tails.”

Deputies later located and arrested Nikkel and charged her with child endangerment, child abandonment, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.…

Kayla OxenhamPORT CHARLOTTE, FL – Police have charged 23-year-old Kayla Oxenham with child abuse after they say she branded her two young children so that she could identify them.

According to the police report, Oxenham’s two daughters – ages 5 and 7 – said their mother told them she “forgot how much she loved fire,” before using a lighter to burn a stick. She then used the hot stick to “brand” their arms.

Afterwards, Oxenham told them she did this so that they could have ice cream, and so she could identify them as her children. (o_O) A medical exam would later show at least one of the children had injuries indicative of being burned.

The 7-year-old also told investigators that Oxenham got mad at her little sister for locking a cat in the bathroom so she slammed the girl’s head into a wall several times before kicking her in the side.

Oxenham was interviewed but denied attacking her youngest daughter. She refused to discuss allegations of burning the siblings.

Kayla Oxenham was arrested and charged with felony child abuse and is currently out of jail on $15,000 bond.…

Omar MonserrateALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL – Police say Omar Monserrate’s temper landed him behind bars after he beat up a 14-year-old boy for “fooling around” with his 13-year-old daughter.

Monserrate’s daughter snuck out of the house one night earlier this month so she could meet with a boy she’d been chatting with online. She got busted by her mother while trying to sneak back into the house.

According to the arrest affidavit, the girl’s mother and Monserrate went to the boy’s house to confront him. The boy admitted that he had let Monserrate’s daughter in through his bedroom window and that the two had “fooled around.”

Unhappy with this information, police say Monserrate made the boy get into his car, then drove him to a lake where he yelled at the boy, punched him and choked him repeatedly, causing him to lose consciousness.

When he came to, Monserrate dropped the boy off at his home. The boy’s mother took him to the hospital after she returned home and noticed his injuries. He was treated for a swollen lip, nose and eyes, a concussion, a facial contusion, a fractured nose and possible eye injury.…

Johann JorgPEORIA, AZ – Johann and Kimery Jorg have been accused of abusing two of their oldest, adopted daughters – subjecting them to a laundry list of cruel and unusual punishments.

The couple have fostered and then adopted four girls – ages 7 to 13 – over the last five years, but have had some disciplinary issues with two of the oldest. When no form of punishment seemed to keep the two in line, the couple visited a behavioral health facility.

It was there that the couple described the issues they have been having with the two girls lying and stealing, and the punishments they have doled out in order to correct them. These punishments included making the older girl live in the backyard naked.

“The 13-year-old daughter was put in the backyard in what they call ‘deep prison,'” Peoria police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said. “She would live in the backyard. She would be forced to wear a diaper or sometimes not even a diaper. They would have bathroom facilities out there that involved a bucket.…

Sarah NunleyGLENDALE, AZ – Police have arrested 31-year-old Sarah Nunley after a 3-year-old boy she was babysitting was found dehydrated and unresponsive underneath a truck in the 100 degree heat.

Police were called to a mobile home park after the child was found unresponsive underneath a truck in the sweltering heat. The officers eventually learned the boy was staying at his aunt’s house a few homes away. Nunley, along with the boy’s grandmother, were watching the boy while his mother was at work.

When police entered Nunley’s home, they found she lived there with her sister, her mother, and her sister’s seven children – ages 1 through 11. Police noted that the home was unsanitary and that there was little food in the home. They also noted that the children slept on a cluttered, dirty floor where knives were within reach.

Nunley first denied having any children, stating all of the children belonged to her sister, but later admitted she lied after one of the kids told the officers that Nunley was her mother.…

Kimberley HonakerAPOPKA, FL – Kimberly Honaker, a 48-year-old middle-school teacher, is in more trouble following her arrest on child neglect charges after police say she not only allowed her boyfriend to sexually abuse a 13-year-old girl, but was an active participant.

Police were called by the wife of Honaker’s live-in boyfriend, 58-year-old Robert Pruitt, after she found Facebook messages, texts and emails eluding to having some kind of sexual relationship with the victim. Pruitt moved in with Honaker after his wife kicked him out and, according to police, his old flame allowed Pruitt to continue his sexual relationship with the teen.

This is what lead to Honaker, a sixth-grade teacher at Apopka Middle School, initially being arrested on child neglect charges over the weekend. She was re-arrested on Tuesday after police interviewed Pruitt and he admitted to his sexual relationship with the teen and the fact that Honaker condoned it. Oh, and that Honaker took part in sexually abusing the teen as well.

Honaker has now been charged with lewd or lascivious molestation and use of a child in a sexual performance.…
