In The Mean Time...
Sioux City, IA — Joseph David Sauce, 41, was arrested Friday by the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with willful injury, a class C felony; false imprisonment, a serious misdemeanor; and third-degree harassment, a simple misdemeanor. That is a fancy way of saying that he kicked the living shit out of his boss.
According to the criminal complaint, Sauce’s boss, Doug Inlay, had planned to fire Sauce from Agency One, an insurance agency at which they both worked. The dismissal was reportedly because Sauce came to work late, smelling of alcohol, and made unflattering comments about Inlay’s wife – all generally regarded as poor employee behavior.
According to the complaint, though, two days before the planned dismissal, Sauce came to the agency, told the secretary to leave, and commenced a beating of biblical proportions.
Sauce allegedly began it all by striking Inlay in the back of the head while Inlay sat at his desk. The complaint says that when Inlay fell to the floor, Sauce kicked him repeatedly in the face and told him, “You guys think you can get rid of me.”
The assault moved from office to office with Sauce allegedly dragging Inlay by the tie for some of it.…

Casper, WY — Michael Devin Condelario, 25, is facing misdemeanor drug charges after police say he walked into a Boys & Girls Club wearing only his underwear Monday morning and began verbally berating employees.
An employee at the facility told police after Condelario walked inside wearing only underwear and asked if he was supposed to be there, he began yelling and swearing at employees. He then left and tried to board a school bus in the parking lot.
When responding officers approached, he reportedly asked if they “were there to end him.” In his apparent continuing bid to increase his street cred, Condelario also asked if they were “going to shoot or stab him,” the arrest affidavit said.
Officers asked him what drugs he had consumed. Condelario reportedly responded, “Weed, shrooms, Ecstasy, acid and alcohol.”
Condelario appeared in court Tuesday, where prosecutors charged him with use of a controlled substance, public intoxication and disturbing the peace. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Bond was set at $500. If convicted on the charges, Condelario faces a maximum of six months behind bars.…

Tempe, AZ — Kevin Robert Theriault, 42, faces three charges of public sexual indecency and three charges of indecent exposure after he was apprehended masturbating in front of a woman wearing a Statue of Liberty costume.
The victim, an employee of Liberty Tax Service, is one of the costumed legion of Lady Liberties often seen on street corners waving enthusiastically to passers-by. Tempe police said that last Thursday, the woman reported that Theriault “waved back,” in a manner of speaking.
According to police, the victim was working on a regularly assigned street corner when Theriault struck. When filing the police report, she said that the same man had masturbated in front of her a total of three different times in past weeks. She had not reported these occurrances.
Police reportedly analyzed past cases and actually determined in advance that Theriault might be their perpetrator. Now, there’s a legacy for you.
Police also expected that the man might return on April 18 – Tax Day. Police set up surveillance at the same street corner where the woman would be working.…

Baltimore, MD – While the news and online media clamor to post every damn scrap of news they can get their dirty hands on regarding the disappearance of Holly Bobo, another missing teen we posted about back in January has been found dead. Workers at the Conowingo Dam spotted the body of 16-year-old Phylicia Barnes floating in the Susquehanna River around 7:30 Wednesday morning.
Barnes is from Monroe, NC and was visiting her half-sister in Baltimore during Christmas break. She vanished from the Reisterstown Square Apartments on Dec 28 after leaving the apartment to get something to eat. Her last Facebook post said she was at her sister’s apartment with her sister’s boyfriend. By March, police reported they had no leads and had ruled out everyone that had come and gone from the apartment.
Unfortunately for her, she was not a pretty white girl. We can sit and debate why certain missing girls get more media attention than others all day long — is it the media, or is the media just giving the public what it wants — but the fact remains that in the entire time we have been posting stories on this site, nothing ratchets up the Facebook Shares, the comments, the online bloggers, the criminal profilers and the legal talking heads like a perfectly good white girl who has gone missing.…

April 21, 2011 at 1:51 pm by Morbid
SUMMERFIELD, FL — Six people have been arrested and charged with killing a 15-year-old boy, burning his body and then shoveling the ashes into paint cans. This story is just like the one detailed in the movie BULLY, about another group of young geniuses from Florida who murdered a peer, but on a seemingly higher level of retardation.
Police say that 15-year-old Seath Jackson (facebook) received a text message from his 15-year-old ex-girlfriend, Amber Wright (facebook), wanting to get back together. This text was sent sometime after Jackson had declined an offer by Wright to meet her at the home of 18-year-old Charlie Kay Ely.
With this new text, Jackson went to the home and walked right into a trap. He was unaware that he had walked into an ambush by a group of people that included Wright’s new boyfriend, 18-year-old Michael Bargo, a teen he had fought with several weeks prior.
Bargo was at the home with Wright, her 16-year-old brother, Kyle Hooper, and 20-year-old Justin Soto (facebook).…

MARSHALL, Minn. — A small community is mourning the deaths of 14-year-old Haylee Fentress and 14-year-old Paige Moravetz, best friends who hanged themselves during a sleepover.
Moravetz was spending the night with Fentress Friday night and judging by some of their online activity, everything seemed pretty normal. Early Saturday morning, Fentress wished her cousin Happy Birthday on Facebook before calling a friend in Indiana. At around 6 a.m., Fentress’ mother found both of the girls had hanged themselves.
The girls had been planning this for awhile, leaving goodbye notes to their families and even giving instructions on how to handle their funerals. There has been no reports of bullying being mentioned in the suicide notes, but both girls reportedly complained of being bullied or ostracized at school. This hasn’t stopped some media outlets from posting that bullying was the sole reason why these girls made the decision to kill themselves, however.
Reportedly, the notes simply expressed love for their families and asked them not be sad over their deaths.…

April 21, 2011 at 9:29 am by Morbid
CLEVELAND, OH -- Come on…you really didn’t think I was going to let that McDonald’s story out of Ohio go without posting it, did you? If you have been reading here for a bit, you know I cannot resist any kind of fast food restaurant shenanigans. I also just realized that’s the first time I’ve ever spelled out the word”shenanigans.”
Anyway, on Tuesday a McDonald’s was holding its ”National Day of Hiring” in which they hire thousands of people to serve me my food. While a crowd of people watched, two women got into a physical fight over a boy that had all the weave pulling and spitting any red-blooded gawker could ask for. But things turned deadly after the fight moved inside of a car, one woman beating another sitting in the driver seat.
As you can see in the video, the car moves forward for a bit, and then goes in reverse, hitting three people standing behind it. Those three people were 59-year-old Turan Strange, owner of the McDonald’s; Marilyn O’Stricker, manager of the McDonald’s; and a 17-year-old.…

Mobile, AL — 79-year-old Bonnie Pogue, a disabled veteran of the U.S. Air Force, was hospitalized Monday after police say his nephew dug his eyeballs out of his head with a spoon.
According to Prichard Police Chief Jimmie Gardner, police and paramedics were dispatched to Pogue’s home Monday evening after relatives arrived at the residence to find the man bleeding profusely from his face. As paramedics attended to Pogue, his nephew, 30-year-old Timayo Knight, made a spontaneous and rather startling confession, telling police he “plucked his uncle’s eyes out” with a spoon.
Knight was promptly arrested and charged with first-degree assault. A search of the home revealed a bloody spoon sitting on the kitchen table and a matching set of eyeballs in a nearby trash can.
Authorities have refused to go into detail about a possible motive because of the ongoing investigation, but it doesn’t appear as if Knight was under the influence of illegal drugs at the time of the alleged eye gouging.
Knight is being held in Mobile County Metro Jail without bail.…

“Someone fired numerous rounds at the entire group. Shiloh was struck by the gunfire while the rest of the group fled from the area,” said Lt. Kelli Sheffer with the Portland Police. “None of the persons with Shiloh remained to talk with police.”
Police said that they think the shooters may have escaped in a white Mercedes. The perpetrators are still at large and police are hoping to receive help from the public to identify the shooter.
Wait… then who is the happy looking dude in the picture? Isn’t he the shooter? No, kids. Sadly, he is not.

April 21, 2011 at 4:04 am by Jaded
Cañon City, CO — Brenda Harding, a 30-year-old married mother of two, was arrested and ultimately charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child after police began investigating a teen boy’s suicide.
15-year-old Tristen Hagen’s body was found on a ridge overlooking Harding’s home earlier this month. The Fremont County Coroner ruled the death a suicide from an overdose of two prescription medications, Oxycodone and Skelaxin. While investigating Hagen’s death, police learned the boy had been in a months-long sexual relationship with Harding. Police have inferred that Hagen’s untimely death was a direct result of said relationship.
According to authorities, Harding, a friend of Hagen’s stepmother, babysat the teen and his two younger siblings in the summer of 2010. The two reportedly had sex for the first time in June.
Concerned about the texts and phone calls between the teen and the woman over the past few months, Hagen’s father attempted to end the relationship, demanding that the two cease and desist. When it became apparent that the relationship hadn’t ended, Hagen’s father contacted Harding and told her to leave the boy alone or he would seek a restraining order against her.…

Peekskill, NY — “It is clear she had “sinister” motives,” said Lt. Eric Johansen of Lizbeth Hernandez – the 47-year-old woman arrested Saturday after she was found hiding in her husband’s girlfriend’s closet with a 12-inch carving knife, surgical gloves and duct tape. “Given the items recovered, it lends itself, at the very least, to some semblance of violence.”
Also found in her possession, a baseball bat, a bottle of bleach and garbage bags.
An alert neighbor called 911 at about 8:30 Saturday morning to report the break in. The witness described Hernandez’s movements to a dispatcher, watching as the woman repeatedly returned to her car to retrieve items such as a hammer and metal spatula. Hernandez reportedly pried open a screen, broke the window and crawled over shards of glass to enter the condo.
When police arrived a short time later, they found Hernandez buried under a pile of clothing in the closet. “She had concealed herself quite well,” said Lt. Johansen. “It appears she was going to lie in wait for them to return.”
Police later learned that Hernandez had followed her husband to the girlfriend’s apartment Friday evening.…

April 20, 2011 at 1:03 pm by Jaded
Salem, MA — 26-year-old Dario Finkel was arrested on attempted murder charges Tuesday after police say he shoved a diaper wipe down the throat of a 7-week-old baby in an attempt to quiet the child. When that didn’t shut the kid up, Finkel reportedly dropped the kid on the floor.
According to the baby’s mother, 23-year-old Jennifer, Finkel grew angry when the child started crying and repeatedly told the kid to “shut up.” Unfazed, the child continued to holler, so Finkel tried to smother his cries with the diaper wipe. Jennifer removed the wipe from the baby boy’s mouth, and in an attempt to “calm” Finkel, got her ass in the kitchen and began to prepare his dinner.
After dinner was over, Jennifer told police the baby started crying again. At that point, Finkel allegedly grabbed the infant from the couch, held him about three to four feet off the ground and dropped him.
Jennifer picked the still screaming kid up off the floor and returned him to the couch. Police say Finkel then picked the child up off the couch, walked over to Jennifer and tossed the kid at her from about four feet away.…

Detroit, MI — Cornell Lowman, 49, has been charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct after police say he sexually assaulted a comatose woman inside the Qualicare Nursing Home Sunday evening.
Lowman was apparently visiting another patient in the home when witnesses say he wandered into another room and molested the 65-year-old woman. An employee at the facility witnessed the assault and called authorities. Lowman was arrested at the scene.
At his first court appearance on Tuesday, assistant Wayne County prosecutor Qiana Willard told the judge that Lowman made “bold” and “calculating” comments to arresting officers.
“He said he took advantage of her because she was incapacitated and brazenly told the police officer that he would get away with it because of her incapacity,” Willard said.
Lowman, a four time loser, has previous convictions for criminal sexual conduct and larceny. He served eight years in prison for a 1985 sex crime and a 1984 charge of larceny. He was released last August after serving an additional three years on a 2007 larceny conviction.…

PORTLAND, OR — Last Wednesday morning, Don Derfler was waiting for the mailman. According to Derfler, when he saw him out his front window, “He started pulling his pants down and started defecating,” Derfler said. “At that point I grabbed my camera and started to take pictures.” The series of photos that resulted show the dirty deed.
Officials with the postal service were quick to offer an apology. “We’re taking this very seriously, and I really want to apologize to our customers and to the public at large,” said U.S. Postal Service employee Ron Anderson. “For the years I’ve worked for the postal service, I’ve never heard of an incident like this, and I hope I never do again.”
Derfler said his wife did not believe him when he told her. He showed her the pictures to prove his point. Oh, joy.
Derfler was quoted as saying “We trust people like the postal service and the meter readers to come on our property but to defecate on it is just wrong.”
Postal inspectors arrived later in the day to clean up.…

April 20, 2011 at 10:25 am by Morbid
Daytona Beach, FL – Police are saying that a 4-year-old boy may be the person responsible for the drowning death of his 3-year-old sister.
Tanya Causey, 38, told investigators that on Tuesday evening she left her two children in the garage playing in an inflatable pool to go use the restroom. The pool measured 10 to 12 feet long and contained less than 2 feet of water. When she returned she found her daughter,Victoria Cunningham, underwater.
Paramedics carried the little girl into the ambulance as her brother was seen running around the yard, but she would be pronounced dead a short time later. At first the death was deemed accidental, but that soon changed. ”During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the brother may have had some involvement with his sister’s death,” Daytona Beach police spokesman Jimmie Flynt said.
The little girl’s brother, who reportedly has mental issues, told his mother he held his sister’s head underwater because he was mad at her. The Florida Department of Children and Families have now gotten involved, but even if it is proved that the boy intentionally drowned his sister, he is too young for any charges to be filed against him.…

April 20, 2011 at 10:03 am by Morbid
Rogersville, AL – A woman is facing attempted murder charges after she intentionally ran down two woman in a ballpark parking lot.
Sunday was picture day for a group of little leaguers at Rogersville Recreational Park. About 70 people, including 20 children, were in attendance. This included 43-year-old Malana White, who was there with her child plus her husband’s three children.
Witnesses say that White had been arguing with 30-year-old Christy Tucker, her husband’s ex-wife, for about an hour. The disagreement supposedly started over who was going to pay for the photos and who would get what photos. This moved in to when Tucker would have her three children, all under the age of 10, returned back to her.
Things then escalated in the parking lot when Tucker loaded her three children in her car. White told Tucker she and the kid’s father were to have them until 6 p.m. and immediately called police to report her children were being stole from her. But before officers could respond to the scene, White took matters into her own hands.…

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A woman won’t have any more issues convincing people her husband can be violent after he beat the crap out of her inside a judge’s private chambers during divorce proceedings.
Caty Scott-Gonzalez was at the final court hearing for her divorce from her husband, Paul Gonzalez. While inside the private chambers of Judge Ronald Rothschild, her husband flew into a rage after the judge ordered him to pay support for his two children, aged one and three. He screamed at the judge and his wife before blindsiding her with a punch to the face. The ex-marine then began repeatedly punching his wife in the face as she lay unconscious. A dozen bailiffs rushed in to subdue him. “They had to Tase him twice in order to remove him from me,” said Scott-Gonzalez.
The mother of two received bruises near both her eyes, split lips and several fractures to her nose and face while her husband received charges of felony battery, domestic violence and resisting arrest without violence.…

April 19, 2011 at 12:12 pm by Morbid
LOUISVILLE, Ky – I know I usually meet opposition on this subject from some of our readers, and on some levels I even understand their points. But whenever I read about another person who killed someone while driving drunk being convicted on murder charges, I can honestly say it pleases me greatly.
Back in July, Angela Baumia had left a birthday party where she admitted she had been drinking for hours. She would end up striking and killing 11-year-old Dylan Geitgey who was riding his bike in the street. She was ultimately charged with murder, wanton endangerment, and driving under the influence. Her trial started this year and yesterday she was found guilty of murder.
Her defense attorney’s tried painting a picture of a battered woman who was being abused by her boyfriend moments before the collision. They also stopped short of blaming Geitgey for his own death, as he was not riding on the sidewalk. But prosecutors did a good job of dismantling her defense. They informed jurors of the open beer in the car, her admission of drinking for hours before leaving the party, her not being able to recollect if she had stopped at the intersection and the fact that she cursed out the nurses and EMT workers after the accident.…

MANCHESTER, N.H. – It’s my day off and Jaded is sick as a dog, so you are just gonna have to deal with some of the stories I am finding this morning while I drink my coffee in my overpriced D’D mug while waiting on my bacon to finish cooking. Starting with this woman in New Hampshire who had a pretty crappy Monday after she got stuck in the sunroof of a car.
I wasn’t even going to post this, but it was funny in how it escalated to embarrassing levels, plus there was the picture. The woman found herself wedged in the car parked in a Walgreen’s parking lot after she tried to retrieve the keys her friend had locked inside the vehicle. When she realized she was stuck, firefighters were called in to help get her out.
They were able to open the locked car doors, but their actions ended up arming the car’s security system and inadvertently locked the woman in place. They ended up freeing the woman by using a portable airbag to pry open the sunroof.…
