Jonathan Noe Gets Four Years In Prison For Beating Girlfriend With Shake Weight

West Lafayette, IN – It’s been two years since we first reported on Jonathan Noe, the man charged with beating his girlfriend with a Shake Weight. On Monday, he was sentenced to four years behind bars.
On November 9, 2011, Noe’s girlfriend called police to report he had beaten the shit out of her with a Shake Weight. When police arrived at the her home, she reportedly told them Noe violated a protective order she filed in June of that year when he showed up at her place after a party and indicated how unhappy he was with her.
He then proceeded to show her how unhappy he was by knocking her around, kicking her, choking her and beating the crap out of her with a Shake Weight. Police say both of the woman’s eyes were swollen shut, her mouth was swollen enough to make speaking difficult, and four of her teeth were knocked loose and pushed back toward her throat.
Medical documents revealed the woman suffered from a subdural hematoma to the head, a fracture of the right orbital bone, a broken nose, multiple contusions, extensive facial injuries, a concussion, loss of consciousness and blowout fracture of facial bones.…

Los Angeles, CA – A fight at a downtown Los Angeles strip club ended with two men losing some legs after they were pinned between two cars.
Police are investigating a fight that broke out between 40-year-old Terrence Conrad Meeks and two other men inside Sam’s Hofbrau at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
The fight spilled out into the club’s parking lot where, according to police, Meeks got behind the wheel of his white BMW and rammed his vehicle into the two men, pinning them both against their Mini Cooper.
Meeks continued accelerating, pushing the Mini Cooper into the side of the building. An act that police say was no accident. “He rammed his vehicle into them with malicious intent,” Lt. Lee McMillion said.
Both victims – ages 24 and 57 – were taken to the hospital, where one had both of his legs amputated above the knee, and the other had his right leg amputated above the knee. They are both listed in critical but stable condition. Luckily, they will live to enjoy future lap dances.…

San Francisco, CA - An unidentified homeless man was crushed to death after he decided to take residence on top of a San Francisco subway elevator.
The man was found Sunday morning after someone taking the elevator up to the top level of the Montgomery Station called to say the elevator had stalled after he heard a crunching noise followed by a scream.
Rescuers would find the body of a man wedged between the elevator and the wall of the shaft. Personal belongings and bedding were also found on top of the car, according to transit spokeswoman Luna Salaver. The man was not carrying any identification.
Salaver added that there are only two ways for someone to get on top of the elevator; ventilation shafts or the hatch door in the roof of the elevator. The ventilation shafts were found to be secure, but to get through the hatch, someone would have had to help the man.
“We don’t understand why anyone would seek refuge in an elevator shaft. It is disturbing, upsetting and highly unusual,” Salaver said.…

CENTRALIA, WA - Rachelle Braaten, a 24-year-old idiot in Washington, was arrested after video captured her letting her 22-month-old take a hit from a bong.
In the video, you can see Braaten offer the lit bong to the boy who briefly sticks his face on top of the lit bong while other morons in the room start laughing.
When police interviewed Braaten, she reportedly told detectives, “Well, it was like, you can’t see in the camera, but the person taking it, and then there was like a group of people there. And I guess it was a joke and stupid mistake that wasn’t really funny.”
Braaten says she feels “horrible” about the incident. “He’s two and he shouldn’t have known about that,” Braaten said. “He shouldn’t have that in his body.”
Rachelle Braaten was arrested and charged with manufacture of marijuana and delivery of a controlled substance to a minor. She is in jail on a $5000 bail.
The boy’s father was also arrested after police found firearms and 40 marijuana plants inside the couple’s home.…

MIDDLETOWN, CT – Joann LePage was arrested after getting her 14-year-old daughter drunk on margaritas while the pair dined at a Mexican restaurant.
On Feb 27, 51-year-old Joann LePage and her 14-year-old daughter were dining at Puerto Vallarta on Main Street in Middletown around 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.
The manager said that during the course of their meal, he served LePage three margaritas. He was later notified by customers sitting nearby that there was something going on with LePage and her daughter.
The manager kept an eye on them and noticed LePage sliding her margarita over to her daughter to drink. That’s when Puerto Vallarta Manager Margarito Rodriguez walked over to their table. ”I took the drink and told them they had to leave. And they’re not allowed to come back again.”
But when he noticed the girl was slurring and stumbling, he called police and an ambulance. When police arrived, they found the teen was highly intoxicated. She admitted to police that her mother had been giving her alcohol throughout dinner.
The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment and her father was called who took custody of the teenager. Joann LePage was arrested and charged with felony risk of injury to a minor.…

SALLISAW, OK – Police say Misty Vanhorn tried to sell her two young children for $4000 in order to bail her boyfriend out of jail.
No word on who the boyfriend is or why he is in jail, but VanHorn really wanted to get him out. “She was going door to door, here to all the way across town asking everybody for money to get him out,’ said Tony Mosby, a neighbor.
The 22-year-old figured a quick way to get some cash would be to sell her two kids. She allegedly contacted a woman in Fort Smith, Ark., through Facebook with an offer to sell her two children.
For the low, low price of $1000, the woman could have Vanhorn’s 2-year-old. To sweeten the deal, Vanhort said for $4000, the woman could have both her 2-year-old and Vanhorn’s 10-month-old.
“Just come to Sallisaw, it’s only 30 minutes away and I’ll give you all of her stuff and let y’all have her forever for $1,000,” Vanhorn reportedly wrote to the woman.
Fearing for the children’s safety, the woman contacted Oklahoma Department of Human Services who then notified Sallisaw police.…

SEATTLE, WA – Police are searching the 26-year-old Michael “Chad” Boysen, a man who they say killed his grandparents and stole their car just hours after the elderly couple picked him up from prison.
Michael Boysen has been incarcerated since 2006 after being convicted of several robbery related charges. His grandparents picked him up from prison after he was released, and were taking him to their home where they had prepared a room for him to live in.
A family member became concerned when the couple would not answer their door, so their daughter was called. That’s when the bodies of 82-year-old Robert R. and his wife, 80-year-old Norma J. Taylor, were found dead inside the home.
Police believe they were killed sometime Friday night or Saturday morning. Police have not released how they died, aside from saying they were not shot.
“We are at a loss as to why he killed them,” the sheriff said. “We don’t know what the motive is.”
Detectives believe Boysen is trying to find weapons because he’d been searching the Internet for “gun shows” across the Northwest and Nevada. Boysen “is considered an extreme danger to the public and police,” the King County sheriff’s office said.…

Galesburg, IL – Ashiya Ferguson, the owner of the pit bull that killed 7-year-old Ryan Maxwell earlier this month, told reporters that she wants to die.
Lot of details out there regarding what led to this tragic incident, but still no word on what triggered the actual attack. After reading several articles (all of which will be linked) here is what is known so far.
On March 1st, Sarah Mead let her 7-year-old son, Ryan Maxwell, go roller skating for the first time – not knowing it would be his last. He would be spending the night at the home of Ashiya Ferguson, the wife of Sarah’s brother, along with Ashiya’s two boys, after going roller skating. The next day, Ryan was outside playing in Ashiya’s backyard when he was viciously mauled to death by the woman’s pit bull.
“He got so excited. He was excited to go skating and excited to spend the night with some other kids,” Sarah said, sobbing. “I let him go, and then this happened.”
The events that happened up to the attack have been mostly detailed by Ashiya and her mother, Susan, who were home when the attack occured.…

Everett, WA - A guard at Snohomish County Jail has been charged with custodial misconduct after he allegedly traded cookies for sex with an inmate.
Abner Canda, 58, has been accused of giving a 22-year-old female inmate homemade cookies in exchange for sexual favors. The woman went to police in January saying she felt guilty about what she had participated in. “I’m sorry,” she told police. “I’m trying to change and be a better person now. I’m ashamed for my actions. That’s why I’m saying something.”
The female, only identified as “C.D.”, told police that she willingly showed Canda her breasts in exchange for some food last May. She was released from jail, but once again found herself as an inmate in October 2012. She states on November 19th, Canda “came into my room behind me and kissed me and touched my breasts and also put his hand down my pants and placed his finger inside of [my vagina].” Then, in January, she states Canda performed oral sex on her and gave her homemade chocolate chip cookies in return for the sexual favors.…

Grass Valley, CA – Police have arrested 27-year-old Shayne Carpenter, accusing him of poisoning his girlfriend with Visine after the couple had a fight.
Shortly after Carpenter and his girlfriend got into an argument, the woman started feeling ill. She suspected Carpenter may have something to do with her ailments after looking on his phone and reading some of his text messages.
Carpenter was sending texts to his buddies that stated something along the lines of: “If she’s going to be talking shit, then she’s going to be shitting.”
The woman contacted police who then had her call Carpenter and confront him with her suspicions while they listened in. During the call, Carpenter admitted to his girlfriend that he had put drops of Visine into her drink after they had argued.
Shayne Carpenter was subsequently arrested on poisoning and domestic violence related charges. He was released from jail after posting a $25,000 bail.

WHITEFISH, MT – Gregory Rodriguez, the host of Sports Channel’s “A Rifleman’s Journal”, was shot to death by a woman’s husband, who then turned the gun on himself.
According to police Rodriguez, 43, died Thursday in the town of Whitefish after being shot by 41-year-old Wayne Bengston, who apparently didn’t like the fact that the TV personality was visiting Bengston’s wife.
Rodriguez was in Montana on business and at the home of the woman’s mother when Bengston showed up and placed Rodriguez on the end of a gun he was not accustomed to. After shooting and killing Rodriguez, Bengston beat his wife before taking their 2-year-old son to a relative’s home.
Police would find Bengston’s truck parked in his driveway and would find Bengston inside his home dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say they do not believe that Rodriguez’s relationship with the woman was a romantic one. She works for a firearms manufacturer and met Rodriguez, a married father of two children, at a trade show and formed a casual relationship.…

Gary, IN - Police say 24-year-old Natisha Hillard sold her daughter to 39-year-old Christopher Bour, specifically for the purpose of making child pornography.
In a criminal complaint filed in the case, the FBI states Hillard met Bour through an online dating service and eventually sold the child to him knowing her daughter ”would be portrayed in a visual depiction assisting another person to engage in sexually explicit conduct.” The complaint does not reveal how much money Hillard made off the sale.
Unfortunately, the 18-month-old girl did end up being the star of some of Bour’s porn, and had been ever since she was around 6-months-old. She may have been involved in more had an unidentified woman not contacted the FBI.
The woman contacted the FBI to report that Bour had sent her explicit text message that read: ”U wanna watch me play with a baby tomorrow a real one” while another said: “I get a chance once in a while I was just seeing if you would hold the camera.” The woman said she’d been to Bour’s home before, and had seen child porn playing on his laptop.…

Ada OK - After being taken into custody on drug related charges, 28-year-old Christie Harris was found with a loaded handgun hidden in her vagina, according to police.
Harris was arrested with another woman after cops spotted them inside a vehicle parked outside a closed restaurant at around 3 a.m. Monday. They were in the front of the vehicle and “both seats were laid all the way back.”
Cops searched the vehicle and found meth, drug paraphernalia, a pistol, and a loaded magazine inside. Harris and the other women were both arrested and taken into custody.
While at the lockup, Harris was instructed to change out of her clothes so she could be checked for contraband. Harris refused to lower he underwear, stating “she was on her period and did not want to.” When Harris finally complied, Officer Kathy Unbewust found that Harris was giving birth to a firearm.
“I observed at that time a wooden and metal item sticking out from her vagina area,” reported Officer Unbewust, who added that she “pulled the item from her vagina, and found it to be a 5 shot revolver with rounds in the chamber.”

RIVERTON, UT – The two men arrested in connection to the murder of 15-year-old Anne Kasprzak have been set free, and the hunt for her killer(s) continues.
It’s been almost a year since Anne’s body was found in the Jordan river. She had been beaten so badly that she had to be identified by her scars, clothing and cosmetic dentistry. A search warranted described defensive wounds on Anne’s hands, and a pushed back fingernail.
She was last seen by her family the night before, after going into her bedroom to listen to music. At some point she sneaked out of the house and reported her as a runaway when her parents found she was not in her room and would not answer their calls or reply to text messages.
Before Anne left her home, she spent 30 minutes talking on her cellphone to people with unavailable phone numbers. Her family tracked the location of the Anne’s cellphone, noticing that it seemed to be moving slowly before quickening, as if she were in a moving vehicle.…

Walworth, WI - On Wednesday, 14-month-old Dax Borchardt was mauled to death by his babysitter’s two pit bulls.
Police received a call from Borchardt’s babysitter, 30-year-old Susan Iwicki, stating she and the boy were being attacked by her two pit bulls.
Borchardt was taken to Mercy-Walworth Medical Center before being airlifted to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin where he died from critical injuries at about 3:30pm.
Iwicki was also injured in the attack, but as of Thursday morning, her condition is unknown. The two dogs were later euthanized by a local veterinarian.
No word on if charges will be filed, but Walworth County Sheriff’s Office Captain Dana Nigbor said that ”unless something drastically changes,” this will not be a criminal case.
Borchardt’s father expressed his anger on his Facebook page, stating “these pitbulls was not abused, mistreated, or harmed in ANY way” and that he “will do everything in my power to make sure this breed is bred out of existence.”
I feel bad for the guy. Not only losing a son, but losing him in such a violent way.…

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Last year we reported on Steven Deuman, the Michigan man found guilty of killing his infant daughter while orally raping her. On Tuesday, he was sentenced to two life terms in prison.
For those of you who missed this horrible story, 28-year-old Steven Deuman said he found 15-week-old Evelynne Deuman on the floor bleeding from the nose, unconscious and not breathing.
Instead of calling 911 for help, he called the girl’s mother, Natasha Maitland, and told her their baby wasn’t breathing. A call to 911 was not made until after Maitland drove back home from work.
Instead of waiting for an ambulance, they attempted to drive to the hospital, but were met by responding paramedics who tried to revive Evelynne before rushing her to the hospital. But, according to prosecutors, Evelynne had been dead for far too long.
It wasn’t until later that night that Deuman allegedly whispered to Maitland that he had pulled a used condom out of their daughter’s mouth. The condom would be found underneath a diaper in the bedroom, and contained Evelynne’s DNA on the outside, and her parents’ DNA on the inside.…

Mexico City - Two-year-old Axel Charrette was killed in Sayulita, Mexico while on vacation with his family at a vacation home they were renting, and now his 16-year-old babysitter and her boyfriend have been charged with his murder.
In a statement released to The Watch, Jen and Randy Charrette stated they had hired a 16-year-old girl to help around their vacation home. On February 28, the girl was babysitting their two boys when she let her 17-year-old inside the home.
Realizing that her boyfriend was in a violent, drug-crazed state, she locked herself in a bathroom and left Axel outside the home and his older brother in another part of the house. For reasons unknown at this time, the boyfriend hurt Axel and then tossed him into a pool where he drowned.
They go on to say that the teen and her boyfriend have been arrested and charged with murder in Mexico City. They were also told by a source in the US State Department that the case is ‘Mexico’s number one priority right now.’

There are hundreds of songs inspired by famous killers, a lot of them coming from bands that you’d expect. Bands like Slayer, Marilyn Manson, and White Zombie all have songs regarding serial killers and their nasty business. Hell, some bands like Macabre and Church of Misery have made entire careers singing about them.
Knowing this, I figured I would compile a list of my favorite songs inspired by famous killers, but it just wasn’t very interesting. Slayer has a song about Ed Gein, and Marilyn Manson has one about Jeffrey Dahmer. So what?
I love the songs, but it just seemed par for the course, ya’ know? Especially taking into consideration the individual artists’ respective personalities and music genre.
So I decided to create a list of my favorite songs inspired by famous killers from artists that you wouldn’t necessarily expected to have done so. Not that any artist shouldn’t be able to write about any damn thing they want, but I thought the following five songs may be surprising for some, considering who wrote them and the source material.…

JONESBORO, Arkansas — Police say 28-year-old Jamie Craft was drunk and half naked when she tried to flee the scene of a car crash in a battery operated toy truck.
According to police, Craft was drunk Sunday when she crashed her 2001 Grand Am into the side of a mobile home. The owner of the mobile home said Craft was travelling at a high rate of speed when she rounded a corner and hit the under panel of his trailer.
Another witness told police that Craft was not wearing any pants when she got out of her car and began yelling at him. According to the police report, she grabbed the man’s daughter and got into his son’s Power Wheels truck and tried to drive off.
Police found Craft at her mother’s house, where she had walked after getting out of the toy truck. They say she was also “irate and very intoxicated.” When officers tried administering a portable breathalyzer test to Craft, “she could barely stand.” Officers had to hold her shoulders so that she would not fall over.…

Clark, WY - Two teens, 19-year-old Stephen Hammer and 18-year-old Tanner Vanpelt, are facing 11 felony counts after police say they killed a woman and her elderly parents in order to steal a car.
According to charging documents, Hammer and Vanpelt went to the home of 40-year-old Ildiko Freitas, who lived their with her husband and her parents, 69-year-old Janos Volgyesi and 70-year-old Hildegard Volgyesi. The teens had intended intent to steal Freitas Audi and flee to Utah, but something went horribly wrong.
Freitas, who knew Hammer from when he once lived in the area, argued with the boys, leading to Vanpelt shooting and killing her. The affidavit alleges Hammer found Hildegard Volgyesi in the basement and shot her. When Vanpelt went into the basement he saw Volgyesi was still alive, and shot her two more times. Vanpelt then encountered Janos Volgyesi in the garage and shot the man twice in the back.
Neighbors reported seeing the teens arrive at the home in a white Taurus, and watched as they entered the front door.…
