Wichita, KS – Police say a 67-year-old doctor struck a landscaper on the side of the road, and continued driving for a few miles with the dead man on his roof.
The person Dr. Mohammad Sarrafizadeh hit was a 32-year-old man who was was working with a weed-eater outside a Hawker Beechcraft plant. Police believe Sarrafizadeh jumped the curb with his Toyota Sienna XLE and left the road when he struck the man who remains unidentified. Authorities think he is from Mexico.
They also feel he was dead on impact. “His injuries were such that chances of survival would have been impossible. He sustained massive injuries throughout his whole body,” says Lt. Joe Schroeder.
The force of the impact threw the man onto Sarrafizadeh’s windshield and then the roof of his van that’s equipped with a luggage rack. Sarrafizadeh did not stop after striking the man and continued driving for a few miles to his upscale home with the dead man sitting on his roof.
Numerous motorists witnessed the gruesome sight and called 911, while one followed him home.…

REFUGIO, TX — Investigators are reporting that a convicted sex offender has died while in the middle of raping a 77-year-old woman in her home.
Isabel Chavelo Gutierrez is a registered sex offender on parole after serving time on charges of aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a 7-year-old child. Sgt. Gary Wright says on June 2, this garbage rode two miles on a bicycle from his home to the home of an elderly woman.
After sneaking into the her home, he began raping her at knifepoint. Sometime during the rape, Gutierrez stopped suddenly and told his victim he wasn’t feeling well before rolling over unconscious. She took this time to leave and call for help.
When authorities arrived at her home, they found Gutierrez dead from an apparent heart attack. The woman did not know Gutierrez personally, but says she remembered seeing him at the post office the day before.
You know what would have been nice? If the God some people are currently crediting with killing this man could have done that woman a solid and killed his ass sometime before he completed his two mile bicycle ride to her home.…

JACKSON COUNTY, Missouri – Over the weekend, a man in Missouri was killed by a riding lawn mower.
A woman returning home Sunday found her boyfriend, 39-year-old Wesley L. Jarman laying in the yard wearing a riding lawn mower. He had been cutting grass on a steep incline when the mower rolled over and Garman fell off, with the medium sized mower landing on top of him.
Paramedics were called and arrived within minutes, but Jarman’s injuries were too extensive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
I didn’t need this story as proof that yard work was dangerous business. I once got a splinter in my finger while opening the door to the shed that contained my mower. It was excruciating, cost me many days off work and had a hand in my current addiction to pain pills and porn.
It’s been 15 years and I still cannot cut the grass. My therapist told my wife it’s not laziness, as she continually harps, but rather a form of post-traumatic stress syndrome.…

Cookeville, TN – A woman has been charged after leaving her kids in the hospital parking lot while her and her boyfriend sought treatment for bites from snakes they hallucinated while on bath salts.
Late Friday night, 34 year-old Danny Farmer was driven to the Cookeville Regional Medical Center by his girlfriend, 27 year-old Stephanie Michelle Hartley. Farmer ran into the emergency room, ass-naked, screaming that snakes were biting him. The Dreamin’ Demon recommends reading that last line at least one more time on account of how goddamn awesome it is.
Stephanie accompanied Mr. Crazy-Pants Farmer inside, leaving her two children aged 3 and 4 in the car. A passing doctor brought the children inside where they awaited the arrival of officer Robert King. King interviewed Hartley, who had a very interesting story to tell.
At some point during the evening, someone said something to Hartley about a snake under the cushion of her chair. She says that she moved the cushion and out popped a snake. She later lifted a blanket and “lots of baby snakes crawled out”, which is when Farmer apparently started losing his shit.…

Piermont, NY - A federal lawsuit has been filed alleging that new volunteers in the Piermont, New York fire department are subjected to a hazing ritual during which they are forced to fondle the genitals of fellow firefighters.
The lawsuit was filed by the father of a 16-year-old volunteer firefighter candidate in Piermont. Given the age of the alleged victim, the lawsuit characterizes the hazing as not only a civil rights violation, but pedophilia.
The father reportedly said his son was unwilling to participate but was restrained and forced to put his hand on the defendants’ genitals.
Named in the lawsuit are three Piermont firefighters — Michael Bettman, Danny Goswick Jr. and Sam Kropp — and the Village of Piermont.
The lawsuit alleges that in August of last year, the then-16-year-old boy was held in a chair against his will and forced to ‘fondle and otherwise handle the genitalia’ of the three men. The lawsuit maintains that new initiates into the department were commonly subjected to such behavior.
Bettman, 30, of Sparkill has already been charged in Piermont Village Court with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation.…

Palatka, FL — Roy McSweeney, a 74-year-old Florida man, was left in critical condition after his neighbor’s two dogs jumped the fence separating his property from hers and brutally attacked him in his own front yard.
“He was in his yard doing yard work when the dogs jumped over the fence and attacked him,” Putnam County Sheriff’s Capt. Johnny Greenwood said, adding that the fence was thin wire.
McSweeney had his right arm completely torn off by the dogs and his left arm shredded. The dogs also reportedly mauled his face. It was reported that McSweeney was rushed to a nearby hospital where he underwent hours of surgery trying to save his left arm. He is currently on life support and friends and family are questioning if he can survive.
The animals, owned by neighbor Deanna Blitch, have been euthanized and their dead carcasses are being tested for rabies. Police described the dogs as being – brace yourselves – pit bulls or pit bull mixes.
No charges have been filed against the dogs’ owner.…

Cleveland, OH – A man was arrested Friday after police allege he shot an 11-year-old girl for playing on his front lawn.
On Friday night, a few kids were playing around a parked car that belonged to 55-year-old Charles DuBose. He claims he yelled out to the kids to stop playing around his car. When the 10 and 11 year old girls did not listen, DuBose grabbed his gun and fired a shot at them. The bullet struck Ivhan’e Merritt and grazed her liver.
Shamarra Hall, 10, told reporters that DuBose became upset when one of the children walked across a part of his lawn and another bumped into his car. ”We started running and then that’s when my friend Ivhan`e goes ‘I got shot, I got shot,’ and we thought she was playing until she fell.”
Merritt was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she is being treated for her injuries and is currently in stable condition. She is reportedly expected to be released from the hospital soon. ”Everything else is fine, she’s doing fine, she’s up walking, talking,” Aquadea Merritt said.…

Hawthorne, FL – A woman has been arrested, along with her mother, after she killed her father with a pickaxe to collect the man’s social security benefits.
According to her Twitter account, 19 year-old Guenevere Hudnall was in need of a job. Her mother, 41 year-old Stephanie Hudnall, was also unemployed and the trailer they lived in was about to be foreclosed on. Since it’s glaringly obvious prostitution would be a dead end for both of these beasties, they came up with a plan B; they would kill 51 year-old William Hudnall and collect his social security.
William is Stephanie’s estranged husband, and the father of Guenevere’s. William also shares a 12 year-old daughter and an adult son with Stephanie. Police say the two had discussed the plan at length prior to the incident and this plan was set into motion late Wednesday night.
The two arrived at Mr. Hudnall’s trailer at approximately 7:30 pm. Stephanie left at roughly 8:15. The father and daughter talked for several hours until dad fell asleep.…

Wampum, PA – Police said that a man stealing scrap metal from a neighbor led to a fight during which a bulldozer was used.
Police said the incident began after Joseph Franer, 52, learned that some of the scrap metal and machine parts he had been accumulating behind his mother’s Wampum home were missing. A ‘trail of scraps’ led him to the house of neighbor Leslie Dallas, 59 (pictured).
According to police, Franer saw his stolen items in Dallas’ yard. Dallas was reportedly in the process of dismantling some of those items with a power saw.
The subsequent confrontation included Franer throwing both a hammer and the power saw at Dallas with the saw hitting Dallas on the foot. The white Franer reportedly yelled racial slurs at Dallas, who is black. Franer then broke the windshield and front passenger window of Dallas’ conversion van with a pipe.
“I thought he had gone through his rage. Oh, no! Then he went over and got the bulldozer.” said Dallas.
Interestingly, before returning with the dozer, Franer called police and yelled that he was going to shoot someone.…

Vernon Hills, IL. – A 47-year-old man is in custody after killing his wife because she woke him up several times the night before.
Ronald Stolberg is being held in lieu of $3 Million bond in the first-degree murder of his wife. Police allege he was frustrated with 54-year old Rachel Stolberg because the night before she was the reason he didn’t get his full 8 hours of beauty rest, which he so obviously needed. Ronald held Rachel face down into the ground with such force that her teeth bit into her lips. Ronald admitted to investigators that he held her down, while pushing into her back until her body went limp. Once the woman stopped moving, he went back to bed to get that well-deserved sleep.
The following morning, Ronald saw his wife in the same position on the floor, with blue hands. Apparently still pissed at his dead wife, he made his way to work, rather than seek help. South Bend, IN – Angela Voelkert created a fake profile of a 17-year-old teen named Jessica Studebaker to dig for dirt on her husband ahead of their divorce. It worked. He ended up getting arrested by the FBI.
According to court documents, after creating the fake Facebook profile, ‘Jessica’ (pictured) friended her estranged husband. She then reportedly had a friend draw her husband, David, into a message exchange. Soon, David Voelkert was e-mailing his new friend and revealing details of plans to disappear with his children.
He allegedly asked ‘Jessica’ to find a “gang-banger” at her school who would be willing to kill his wife for $10,000. Voelkert also reportedly claimed to have secretly placed a GPS tracking device in his wife’s van to be used to locate her when he was ready to have her killed.
“There should be some gang-bangers [at your school] that would put a cap in her ass for $10,000. I am done with her crap.” Voelkert messaged to ‘Jessica.’
“I have a GPS on her van, so I know where she is all the time,” Voelkert allegedly wrote.…

Bristol, NY – Todd Blauvelt Jr., 18, was arrested for trying to move into a multimillion-dollar lake house after convincing his underage girlfriend and her family that he had inherited it, police said.
Police say Blauvelt said he inherited the 6,000 square-foot mansion from his deceased grandfather. Blauvelt invited them to move in with him, investigator Mark Eifert said.
The family was skeptical until one day in May when Blauvelt brought the family to the house and entered with a key. Once inside, Blauvelt provided his four guests with beer and soda from the refrigerator. His facade crumbled within the hour, though, when the real homeowners showed up and called 911.
Police said Blauvelt stuck to his story during the interrogation process describing the fictitious inheritance story in a signed deposition, said Eifert. They would later learn that both of his grandfathers are still alive and kicking, and he he found a key to they home after burglarizing it and finding it, along with a bag of additional keys.
He was charged with second-degree burglary and writing a false written statement and was jailed in lieu of bail or bond, Eifert said.…

Espanola, NM – A woman is facing charges after she tested positive for cocaine and methadone immediately following a crash that killed her 3 year-old son.
Devon Martinez, 28, was traveling with her two small children in an SUV Thursday when it plowed into the back of a tractor trailer that was stopped to make a turn. Espanola Police Chief Leo Montoya stated, “When I went to the scene there was no evidence she had the opportunity to brake or tried to brake.”
When mommy hit the truck, junior hit the windshield and died. The other child in the vehicle, a 19 month-old girl, was in a car seat, but it was unsecured, rendering it about as useful as a hamburger eaten rectally. She was airlifted to the hospital and is in serious condition.
Mom seemed a bit impaired and the police did not detect alcohol, so they checked her blood and found the aforementioned drugs. She faces vehicular homicide, child abuse and other charges.

Watertown, NY. – An 18-year-old woman had a few charges brought against her after she allegedly stabbed a man early Saturday morning.
The encounter between Kenna Rae Williams and her ex-boyfriend, Corey R. Smith, turned violent around 3 am Saturday morning, when she revealed a butcher’s knife and turned on her boyfriend outside of his home. She stabbed the victim twice in his back and cut his hand in the process. An ambulance was called for the man, but his condition is unknown.
And it seems she wasn’t just trying to wing him. She allegedly stated, “I’m going to kill you,” during the incident, police said. Williams’ little stint earned her a few charges, including charges of second-degree assault, second-degree menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. She is being held on $5,000 cash bail.
Although the article states she has no previous record, a quick Google search reveals she is no stranger to police . I’m not going to list all of the articles that came up on this chick (I found two cases from this year alone), but she was charged back in 2009 with second-degree harassment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.…

York, PA. – A 23-year-old woman is accused of burning a child’s hand so badly, his skin was peeling off his fingers.
Amanda Marguerite Coeyman, 23, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child, after police found that her version of events was inconsistent with the facts in the case. Now, maybe I just watch way too many crime shows, but I have no clue how this chick thought her story would actually fly with investigators.
On May 18 at about 12:45 p.m., Coeyman called York County 911 to report that a 2-year-old child in her care had burned his hand in the shower. When police arrived, the child’s hand was so badly burned that his skin was red and swollen with large blisters and some skin was actually hanging off of other fingers. He was transported to Johns Hopkins Medical Center.
Coeyman, a former assistant Eastern York coach, claimed Myles Miller (pictured) had burned his hand in a bucket she was filling with hot water in the shower.…

East St. Louis, IL - Ashley Alford was awarded $95 million federal jury in Illinois in response to her sexual harassment claims that described a ‘campaign’ of harrassment by her boss, Richard Moore, while working at the rent-to-own furniture and household items chain, Aaron’s.
Alford was 20 when she was hired in 2005 at the store in Fairview Heights, Illinois. She left in 2006.
Alford will receive $15 million in compensatory damages and $80 million in punitive damages if the judgement is upheld. The jury spent three days deliberating the actions of Moore and responses by Aaron’s.

Z-list Actor Arrested For Impersonating Cop, Forcing Woman To Have Sex

Las Vegas, NV - Douglas Brian Irvin Jr., 32, an actor who has appeared in the film THE HANGOVER, and TV’s CSI and ER, was arrested after allegedly telling a woman that if she didn’t have sex with him he would arrest her. Trouble is that he isn’t a cop.
Police said it all began after Irvin responded to an ad for a ‘sensual body rub.’ He reportedly asked the female masseuse to come to his hotel room.
The masseuse told police that Irving identified himself as “Mark” and agreed to her giving him a sensual body rub for $180. The police report stated that Mark told her that he was a plastic surgeon and that “money was no object.”
According to the report, Irvin began to touch the woman sexually against her will. When she told him to stop, he reportedly offered her $10,000 for sex. She said she agreed but asked for the money up front.

Plymouth, PA. – Police have charged a Plymouth couple with rape after learning they sexually abused a 13-year-old boy for at least 5 years.
Carol Ann Hann, 43, and Robert Caravella, 52, kept the victim secluded from the outside world. In fact, he never even learned how to do simple things the rest of us take for granted, like brushing out own teeth and using utensils when we eat. The boy had never been to school and didn’t have any friends.
The case began when Luzerne County Children and Youth Services received a report of a child living in filthy conditions at the Gould Street home back in August. It was there that they found the boy living in a home filled with garbage, rotten food and urine-soaked towels. The child was removed from the home, placed with other family and enrolled in counseling, according to court documents
In January, the boy revealed some interesting facts to his therapist. Apparently Hann often had sex with him while Caravella directed them what to do.…

Bremerton, WA - Allen Wallace, 19, was arrested by Bremerton Police for having sexual contact with a 13-year-old autistic boy he admitted to meeting on Facebook.
The 13-year-old told family members that the two had sexual contact in the girl’s bathroom at local park, prompting the boy’s parent to call police.
According to court documents, Wallace reportedly told investigators that the two met over Facebook through a mutual friend, that the 13-year-old had called him and that the two decided to meet. They reportedly met at a local high school and walked to Evergreen-Rotary Park where the incident occurred.
Wallace told officers that he knew what happened was wrong ‘because of the age difference.’ Wallace was charged in Kitsap County District Court with second-degree rape of a child. He was held on $250,000 bail.…

Hamilton, NZ – Given that New Zealand is a relatively industrialized and advanced culture, it is not necessary to exclude it from the happenings reported on D’D. So, it is with great pleasure that I report to you that the fine artwork of pranksters at Fairfield College in Hamilton, New Zealand – namely, the huge crop-circle-esque penises etched into the college lawns two years ago which were recently discovered to have been immortalized by Google Earth.
A New Zealand local, David McQuoid, discovered the images while scanning the neighbourhood online looking for a property.
“At first I thought it was a large piece of art work,” he said. Well… it is.
Acting principal Gerhard van Dyk (pronounced “dike” ya’ smartasses) is reported to have said that it was hard enough to deal with when the prank was pulled back in 2009. The artwork was done with vegitation killer. As such, it slowly and irreversibly revealed itself.
“There’s not really much we could do about it,” said van Dyk. “The caretaker took some more weedkiller and tried to camouflage it a bit.”
Nobody was caught so no discipline was ever meted out.…
