Two Laurel residents have been charged with reckless endangerment in conjunction with their treatment of a 2-year-old boy, including allegedly forcing the child to hold onto the ball hitch of a moving pick-up truck, authorities said.
Ashley M. Bell, 20, the boy's mother, was arrested Friday and charged with six felony counts of reckless endangering. Christopher W. Swank, 24, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one felony count of reckless endangering. Additional charges are pending.
Authorities said someone saw the 2-year-old in March being forced to hold onto the truck hitch while Swank accelerated the vehicle on private property. Bell was a passenger in the car. The witness, who later confronted Bell about the situation, told officials that the child would hold onto the hitch until the car speed up enough to cause the boy to fall back onto a gravel driveway.
Over the next few months, the witness allegedly saw the child with additional injuries. The witness contacted the Division of Family Services, who subsequently called police.
Investigators believe that Bell and Swank engaged in similar treatment of the boy on more than one occasion.
Bell was being held Friday night on $30,000 secure bond at the Sussex Correctional Center. Swank was being held there on $10,000 cash bond.
The child, who sustained minor injuries, has been placed in the custody of his father, authorities said.

She talks about having another boy and being pregnant in comments with friends Between Feb 2008 until April 2008. I just don't think she is smart enough to figure out how to remove shit from her myspaces, evident by all the accounts she creates..

From what i'm reading this little princess was living with her mom. But now she's mad at her mom (told her to grow the fuck up?) and she WAS living with a friend. Now, after their arrests, she is living with the child abusive prick Chris , AT HIS MOMS HOUSE....HA,HA,HA,HA,HA.....uh, yeh, what a winner. I can see why she states that they are going to be together for life.
I'm glad that the baby is with his father and pray that his father isn't an abusive prick like her latest find.
The other child appears to be with her mother.
So, while she can't take care of herself and lives by mooching off of others, she produces kids like a fucking rabbit! So, what's one, more or less, dead kid? Fuckit...git anothur one! (Intellligent bitch, huh?)
I pray that they BOTH go to jail for a long time BEFORE they kill one of these innocent babies. Fucking waste of oxygen, these two.

WTF? Why in the world would you make a child hold on to a ball hitch? Personally, Kudos to the neighbor, i think it should have reported the first time. Can we tie, super glue, and duct tape them to a ball hitch, then accelerate the vehicle to an excess of 100mph on gravel?
