This is a little overdue..

I didn't know this thread existed, so please excuse me for jumping in and posting threads and going crazy posting comments! I have to admit this is my first foray into forums of any kind, so I am a little ignorant on the etiquette!

Quick and dirty: My name is Katy, I am 27, I live in Los Angeles, I work as an operations/sales manager at a design/fashion firm, but I am not very fashionable at all. I pretty much do all my shopping at Old Navy and will NEVER spend a penny over $40 on a pair of jeans. Even though I am pretty sure all my clients laugh at me when they leave, I still love my job. I get to be creative, have dental insurance, and a boss who loves me. What more could I want? I also have a boyfriend named Chris and I love movies and reading. And playing our Wii. It's like crack.

I was a newspaper reporter/editor for a couple years and loved it. Telling other people's stories, especially people who couldn't speak for themselves is what got me interested in true crime.

I am so excited to be on this site and so far, I pretty much love all of you and your sassy-ness, not to mention thoughtful and well-written blogs/articles. It makes my day.

PS -- what does "bump" mean? I've seen it on other forums and was always so intrigued...

Thanks Mammasweets! That totally makes sense to me now. My boyfriend is a part of some art forum and I look over his shoulder and see "bump" everywhere. I was starting to think it wasn't really an art forum...

The picture is of when my boss put my stapeler in Jello and put it on my desk (an Office reference). Sad part? My boyfriend actually ate the Jello around the stapeler while I was at work the next day.

And sure, you can have my job. Especially today. I had to tell one of the employees (young and male) that it was not ok to blast 50 Cent in his office. He looked at me confused. I swear, people in LA...
